Just moved into a downtown apartment and was exploring the Plus 15s when my wife and I came across Leela Eco Spa. It was easy to set up an online profile on their website and book an appointment for a 60 minute massage. Lots of positive energy when I checked in. I had Registered Massage Therapist Christa P., and she was very thorough during my initial health assessment. When all was said and done, I would say that this was the best therapeutic massage that I have had in years, and plan to book another set of appointments for my wife and I. Thank you Leela Eco Spa for a great overall experience.

I visited Leela Eco Spa on 17th Ave for the first time, booking a 90 minute couples massage for myself and my partner for his birthday. Our RMTs were Gladys and Marphiene and they were absolutely fantastic! The experience was absolutely wonderful, relaxing and much needed. Thr aesthetic of this spot is very chic and you can even enjoy a cocktail while you wait or during other services like mani's and pedi's. We both highly recommend these two if you're looking for specific RMT recommendations, however I feel like you won't go wrong with whomever is there. Best advice, if you're ever unsure, give them a call and let them set you up with someone they feel best matches your needs.

Visited the spa with my boyfriend for a birthday surprise, the massages were amazing. However, I found the manicure and pedicure process to be less enjoyable. I obviously didn’t book the appointment as it was a gift from my lovely boyfriend, and he of course knows nothing about nails - when we sat down for our manicure I asked if I could have shellac and the girl told me, “well we have it, but I don’t have time”… honestly for a higher end place, I wouldn’t have expected an answer like that, especially given that it was a gift and my boyfriend couldn’t have possibly booked me for that as he would never have known. On top of that, the girl who did my mani/pedi dropped the f-bomb many times during our appointment which I also felt was very unprofessional. Also comments like “oh be careful if you go to cheaper places because you get what you pay for”… which in fairness- I have more enjoyable mani/pedi’s at my usual place and also get shellac without being told they don’t have time. On top of that, the colour selection is minimal and my polish has bubbles etc in it. I will likely end up removing it today. We spent over $400 there and even tho we loved our massage, I felt like the mani/pedi was lacklustre and felt disappointed when we left. I honestly expected to leave feeling like a million bucks on my birthday but instead felt defeated ????

Booked a massage at the spa, the massage itself is lovely and VERY relaxing. I did have a slight issue with booking, but the owner went out of her way and did everything in her power to make it up to me which I really appreciated.

Came here with one of my girls for the couples massage and it was amazing! for the price of the quality of the massage i received was unbelievable. i recommend this place to all my friends and family! from the lady at the front to the masseuses to the nail artists, everyone was very accomodating and very professional. I also got an AMAZING PEDICURE from Young-ae! i've been to many different spas in calgary for pedicures (lavish nails, metropolish, exquisite, ad many more) and Leela Eco Spa on 17th was the best hands down. I cant wait to come back!

What a cool concept bar! The atmosphere was really chill. The bartender Dawson was welcoming, gave us a quick tour of the bar and spa area, I think it’s a great idea! I’m definitely going to bring a few friends for meetup and manicure. The drinks were really unique to, I really enjoyed my Caesar!

I got the winter special.. the hydrating facial, my skin is so smooth and happy. My boyfriend loved his massage, pressure was perfect and he felt very relaxed. I see us visiting again soon... My wife and myself came into this bar yesterday. We were just passing by and was greeted outside by on of the bartenders named Dawson. He described us the spa and bar and told us a bit of history on the drinks and we decided to come in and try one. I was not expecting the level of cocktails this place had to offer. I was served by Reece as Dawson created the cocktails and the duo they have together is nothing but professional and knowledgeable. The two seemed to love their craft and are so passionate at what they do. We ended up staying for 6 cocktails the Avery ( served in a cage smoked), I believe its called kuaint hotel served on a ball of sorbet which was amazing, and the last two drinks I asked them to make me a simple gin drink with no expectations and i got this amazing garnished and tasting gimlet drink. If you are looking for a place to have cocktails you wont find in this city this is the place. And did i mention the spa its wild. 100% recommend this is my new place to go! Well done guys!

Stumbled upon this place last Saturday whilst walking home from dinner on 17th ave and was blown away by their incredible bar menu. They specialize in Organic & Gluten free drinks and have tons of options across the menu to suit. The staff here are the most friendly and welcoming we have come across in calgary, super knowledgeable and professional to another level. Did we mention the cocktails?! We couldn’t believe the level of creativity, dedication and effort that has been put into these drinks, we spent 2 days last summer cocktail hoping in NYC and did not find any drinks as incredible as these. Were did this place come from? We will be back, often!

Great vibe and ambience. The staff are lovely and the store is very clean. Sadly, my pedicure was disappointing, as my feet are still very rough and hard, very little callous was removed. The esthetician cared more about my polish and nails than my skin. The "massage" was just rubbing in lotion. I came in after the client beside me and was done before her. I feel a little ripped off to be honest and my feet are left scratchy and uncomfortable. With that being said, I had a massage and it was pretty good. I feel it is unfair to give a 3, as the massage made up for it, but I was a little rushed in between the pedicure and massage. I was given forms to fill out for the pedicure, after it took place and the form for a massage beforehand (totally fair) but filling out the forms cut into my massage time by about 10 minutes.

Came in yesterday with my boyfriend for massages and pedicures. Britt did my massage and was wonderful. I told her it was my first time and laid out step by step on what I was supposed to do and what she will be doing. Rachel did my pedicure & Brittany did my boyfriend’s. They were lovely & very sweet. They also knew it was both mine and my boyfriend’s first pedicure & our anniversary. They were so warming to us about it. The receptionist made us feel welcoming right when we stepped foot in the store & switched with another receptionist when we came to pay. They were both oh so great.

I relocated from Toronto to Alberta and my co-worker recommended me this place. From start to end, I had such a great experience here. The only service I got here was sugaring and waxing so I'll base my review only those services for now. Ann did my services with me and she was really friendly and made the whole experience smooth and easy for me to handle. The ambience in the rooms are the perfect condition for waxing, not too hot or cold and for someone like me who sweats really fast, it was perfect. Ann also gave me a lot of useful tips to keep my skin hydrated from dryness and some useful after-care tips for both sugaring and waxing. She is amazing at her work and makes sure to leave behind no patches of hair. The reception are all very sweet and welcoming. It was a friendly and familiar atmosphere overall and it was perfect for me who was out of city. I will be making this place my go-to wax/sugaring location and I am so glad to have found out. Thank you to everyone at Leela for such a splendid day!

I recently had a massage here and I have nothing but great things to say! After a few schedule changes (which they were great at communicating with me!), I got to my appointment with Dusti and she was so amazing! Very calm and relaxing and made it the perfect environment. I had a 90 minute full body massage where she also focused specifically on where I was hurting or felt tension. Made all the areas of my back pop and it felt SO relieving haha. It is very difficult to find an Acupuncturist who is well versed in the broad spectrum that is Chinese Medicine. My Acupuncturist retired but not before referring me to Alex. Since his referral, Alex has helped to alleviated the many symptoms that come with my autoimmune disease (Hypothyroidism). She also helped me to prepare for a surgery with Herbal Medicine and Nutritional counselling which my surgeon and I believe substantially softened the recovery. I live 20 minutes outside of the city limits but gladly commute for the care I receive during my acupuncture treatments. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ANY health concerns!

Really great place for pedicures , they don’t make you wait when you’ve booked an appointment and they have eco friendly polishes. The nail techs are very professional and do a great job. Love that you can also get drinks there during your service but I only wish they had more colours to choose from.
