I recently visited the Follicle and was nervous to be out and about during Phase 2 of the pandemic. Upon arrival I was completely reassured. The Follicle was the cleanest spa in town before COVID-19 and with their additional health precautions, it was even more so! I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. In fact, I am making my second appointment right now! They did my hair for my wedding. I could comfortably say that I am very pleased I didn't go anywhere else. The style was also very reasonably priced. Laurie was absolutely awesome. Pam had cut my hair there before and I was not happy, but I am glad I returned and just changed the stylists. I had a massage here too and it was awesome. The lotion used is organic and soothing, unlike some salons using oils that clog your pores and feel uncomfortable after. I had a facial as well, but was not very happy. The effect lasted only that day, my skin was glowing and tight. The next day it was the same as before I had it done. Not a $250 well spent at all. Giving a 5* review only because of hair with Laurie and massage. The facial I would rate as 3.5* and hair with Pam 2*

A group of us went to celebrate a co-workers birthday and had an amazing experience. First of all, the decor was up to date, comfortable and intimate. The staff treated us exceptionally well. I had a manicure and was pleased with the service. We were able to catch up with friends and enjoy our spa day. The staff balanced how much they interacted with us while we were getting our service done, so that we all felt catered too. By the end of it, my nails looked fabulous. If you are looking for a day to get pampered and experience good service for a great price, I would recommend checking out the Follicle! You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed my "Getaway to Provence" with Megan. She explained everything and I felt very comfortable throughout the experience. She did an excellent job with the massage. The Spa was clean and bright and I had no concerns about Covid-19.

Recently went there to get my hair bleached and coloured and the experience was amazing. They were very respectful of the covid-19 protocol and I never felt unsafe there. Staff was extremely friendly and skilled at what they do. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice, clean and relaxing place! And they have Clayton Shagal line which is a big plus ???????? Staff is nice and professional and always smiling. I had my facial done by Lory and It was amazing. My skin looks so nice and dewy! I highly recommend this place!

I recently got my hair done at The Follicle and was very pleased with the experience! Parvin was able to revive my dry quarantine hair back to life. They recommended the Kaaral Reale Intense shampoo, conditioner and nutrition vials to use on my hair at home. My hair is both colour treated and heat damaged and these products have made a tremendous improvement on my hair. I have noticed far less breakage and have a much healthier look and feel after using these products for a couple of months. Great recommendation!

I go to The Follicle regularly for hair colour and cut, and sometimes for a mani/pedi, specially when I am planning a trip to wiggle my toes in the sand, I love it! the staff are friendly and knowledgable and I always come out feeling like a million dollars, thanks to both Debbie and Diane for always making me feel special.

Had the best experience during my first appointment at The Follicle Spa today. Its been next to impossible to find an RMT for an appointment before the holidays in the city and I was notified that an aesthetician could provide a relaxation massage. Despite not being to claim through insurance I was open to it and so happy I made the right decision. Bobbi did an amazing job! She was able to work through the massive tension in my shoulders and upper back and the aromatherapy oils made it easier to breathe with the mask on. I finished my appointment on cloud 9. The spa also did a great job of following protocols to keep both clients and staff safe. Would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit!

Thought I would try a salon in my own neighbourhood, epic mistake!! You should spend your money elsewhere, this place has such a poor selection of nail polish that was old and difficult to apply, no proper tools for the feet, no jets in their foot tubs, chairs that are incredibly uncomfortable with no massage capabilities, very outdated place considering the $$$$ they charge you. Would never go there again! I can get a better job done in oakville for less money (go figure) which is exactly what I will do. If you have no standards at all, this would be the place for you! I

I had my eyebrows tinted. I was received by a nice young woman at the front desk who offered to take my coat and get me coffee while i waited. Megan Philip did my treatment. She was lovely-very personable and sweet. We chatted while she prepared my tint and then did the treatment. She was gentle and answered my questions easily and knowledgeably. What a great experience! The new location is unfortunate compared to where they used to be. It is very difficult to relax during a massage while listening to loud traffic and cars blasting music at the busy intersection nearby. It used to be a place where you felt pampered but this was definitely a different feel. Won't go back again.

I have been going to the Follicle for several years now and have experienced various wellness and therapy treatments. I find the environment very calming and the staff friendly and very helpful. I have rosacea and was reluctant, however, to try a facial, until recently that is! Lory was very professional and selected product specific to my individual needs. After the treatment, my skin was glowing and I felt wonderful! My only regret was that I hadn't had one sooner! I use the product recommended by Lory between scheduled facials and am very pleased with the look and feel of my skin. I have also used the hair services at the Follicle, including a cut and colour and, most recently, had my hair styled for a wedding. The results were amazing. The attention to detail and the care taken in cutting and styling made a difference not only on how my hair looked but on how I felt about myself as well! Many, many thanks! Sylvia
