This review was a long time coming! I went to the spa in the village with my mom to prepare for my wedding in Sept. I looked at a few spas in Burlington and decided to go with Spa in the village. I’m SO glad I did! The ladies are absolutely wonderful. My mom and I got manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages and waxing. I can stop raving about how amazing these girls made my mom and I look. Allie who did my eyebrows, oh my goodness I have NEVER had my brows look so good, I received tons of compliments and friends asking where I got them done. She is awesome! Beverly did my massage and mani and pedi, I felt so relaxed and comfortable ( it was my first time getting a massage ) and my nails looks perfect for my wedding. Lala who was with my mom is fantastic, she is SO funny and so accommodating. My mom lives an hour away but says she will drive down to spa in the village whenever she needs a facial or mani. We were blown away with out experience and I’m so happy have a “ go to” spa! I would say these girls deserve a 400$ tip every day! Really excellent spa. If something goes wrong (and I get the impression that it doesn't happen very often here) they will do whatever it takes to make it right. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxing and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

A nice location in downtown Burlington but give yourself a little extra time as parking can be tricky. My first experience with this spa was not an ideal one as something was lost in translation when I booked my massage. I thought I was going in for an hour deep tissue massage with an RMT but walked out with an hour of relaxation massage with a massage therapist, who was not an RMT and therefore cannot provide a receipt for insurance purposes. I felt horrible when I asked at the end if that was what the therapist considered to be a deep tissue massage and she replied back she is not an RMT and I should book one next time if that is what I was after. She did a good job overall if I was looking for a relaxation massage and had no benifits. I should have spoken up sooner and asked for more pressure but it’s a little awkward to mention it during. I paid my $100 with a tip and walked away less than satisfied but according to their receptionist, I should specify when I book that I require an RMT. I will know going forward! UPDATE***** Since my first visit was not as planned, the owner did contact me and made it right for me! What a class act business that I will definitely support going forward! The RMT is terrific and very knowledgeable, one of my better massages in recent memory. Thanks again to the owner and staff for caring about your customers opinions. Jay

We were celebrating our 11 years and I surprised him with The Couples Retreat which included the following services: 60 min Swedish Massage Customized Facial Spa Pedicure (3.5 Hours Approx.) My wonderful lashes lasted 6 weeks without a touch up, I don’t think you can find a lash lady that’s better than her. Beat facial in Burlington. Lala goes over the top to provide a whole body relaxation session including hand, feet and head massage while your mask soaks in. A heated bed and a calm and cozy treatment room at the new Spa in the Village location is so charming.

Went here for laser hair removal from a groupon deal I found a couple years ago for my upper lip, most of the time the lady forgot to give me the glasses to protect my eyes until half way through the session. Laser was also set too low and didn’t work unfortunately.

I really enjoyed a half day spa package with a friend that our husbands arranged. The staff were lovely, the facility was cosy and clean, and it was really a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. Spent some time in the sauna before the Swedish massage, and loved the snack tray during my pedi!

Bowen Therapy review: 5 Stars. Definite recommend. I came into the spa after having suffered days of debilitating pain due to a pinched nerve at the very top of my spine - pain was radiating down my arm and i had 3 numb fingers. My shoulders were locked in muscle spasm and I did not have full range of movement in my neck. I was advised by a doctor to possibly seek massage therapy for my issue, but the spa suggested that Bowen would probably help more as it is all about the nervous system. I was seriously worried about being able to stand someone touching me for a massage, so I was relieved when I found out that it was not a massage and thankfully made an appointment with Tiffany. The room was cool and comfortable with lovely spa music and some Christmas instrumentals thrown in. Rooms are lush with lovely soft healing colours and it smells so great. Sheets, blankets and pillows all feel super high quality and lux. Tiffany was very understanding about my discomfort with laying on the table and offered me an alternate position to treatment. She was attentive to whether I was cold or not, and asked me to just relax, and told me she had a blanket for me if I got cold. When I went in, my pain was probably at about an 8. My husband had to fill out my form for me as I coudln't use my right hand. During treatment, Tiffany will do an adjustment and then leave for a few minutes, and then come back and do another one and it lasts for about 45 minutes. After one of the treatments in my legs, I felt some cool vibrations in my toes - it was like they were singing. I think my nervous system was lighting up! Tiffany did a few more adjustments and then once she got to my back, she did a particular adjustment and left the room. About 2 minutes after she left, I felt like I deflated. All of my muscles calmed down all at once and it was SUCH A RELIEF! I was able to lay on my side comfortably for the first time in DAYS. By the time I left, I could move my shoulders seperately and had full mobility back in my neck. I'm not going to tell you that the pain is gone, because it's not, but I don't think that's the point. The pain is there because I still have to heal, but it's as if the pain is still there, but my body isn't as upset and stressed about it anymore, if that makes sense. While pain is still there, I feel like the relief that this is providing my body has brought pain levels down to about a 6.5 and my hand mobility is better as I type this review. What a relief, Tiffany! Thank you so much. Thanks again so much for fitting me in at the last minute! I was desperate! Update- the day after. I did have a painful night last night but this morning have already reduced doctor prescribed Percocets by half. I don't have any radiating pain in my arm this morning. Tiffany, I'm beginning to think you're a miracle worker!❤

I and a friend treated ourselves to some pampering yesterday and had a wonderful pedicure at Spa In The Village in Burlington. An hour of soothing relaxation with very pretty toes at the end of it! The new downstairs location is gorgeous and Lala and Bibi also provided us with very entertaining conversation. The previous (upstairs) location was lovely too but I was glad not to have to climb all those stairs! My friend and I will be going back for another afternoon of pampering after Christmas, and maybe make a monthly habit of it. After all, we deserve it!

I do understand that the building itself is older and there are creaky floors and smaller spaces, however it would be beneficial to invest in some kind of sound-proofing as you can hear all of the walking and talking that is happening outside of the rooms. The rooms, at least the one that my fiance and I were in, was very cramped with two massage beds in it. It was difficult to fully relax because every once in a while I would feel the therapists trying to walk through the very tight gap and bumping my arms or the table and causing it to shake. Cathy and Carina were excellent, they really helped the make our morning unforgettable, overall it was an amazing experience and we will be back again!

My experience here was superb and relaxing. Gonal (sorry if I spelt your name wrong). Great service overall. But please ensure the sheets don’t look like it wasn’t replaced after the previous customer, that could just be quick ironing. The wifi isn’t the best, don’t expect to be able to use it. The music in the room kept going off due to unstable wifi. That impaired my service and experience.

Went for a full spa day. Loved my rmt massage, but there was no where to put my belongings during my services, I got a lecture more than product suggestions during my facial, and the girl shook the towel off into my foot bath during my pedicure. Unfortunately these as well as a couple other small things left a bad impression on me. Update: I returned back to Spa in the Village this week, a year later, and had a fantastic visit. I was with Beverly for the "Because You Deserve it Dream Day" and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing day. She was friendly, made it easy to feel comfortable, and she did a great job on all of the services in the package. I highly recommend the body exfoliation treatment. It was the perfect mid-winter rejuvenation!

This was not a relaxing experience. We booked a couples massage which included sauna and a pedicure. It was very disorganized when we arrived. We were brought to our room for the massage but never given clear instructions. They tried to enter the room, while we were still undressing, without knocking before hand. The massage was not good. We could also hear, employees in the hall talking and laughing. It was very loud and not tranquil. We were brought to the sauna room after and again given no instructions. We saw a timer on the sauna so we guessed that's how long we had. We were wrong. The employee came back after about 20min while we were still undressed. She seemed insistent that we come out and argued with us when we asked about the timer. This was so unprofessional and bizarre. The pedicure started out ok but was on a whole not very relaxing. Very loud again.They tried to use a hot wax treatment at the end of the pedicure which I found very uncomfortable as it burned. They argued with me to use it and seemed annoyed that I refused the treatment and removed my foot from the hot wax. It was infuriating. We left more stressed out and angry at the money we had spent for such a disappointing time. We were also amazed when we were paying as we left to find out that the person looking after us was the spa manager! Would not recommend.

Absolutely fantastic and can’t wait to go back. I have difficulty reaching down to my feet and so my wife booked me in for a pedicure. All I had to do was sit down and relax while “LaLa” pampered me and my feet. No danger of me cutting the odd toe, I just drifted off into my own dream world - could have stayed for hours. Xmas is coming so it is my chance to thank my wife with one of the many alternative relaxing packages, while I enjoy a beer at the Dickens or the Poacher.

Just had such a great first experience at this spa with the Mother to Be package. Lala was incredible and gave me the most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. I’m 9 months pregnant and rarely comfortable right now but she made me so comfortable with extra support pillows and the perfect massage techniques. I especially loved how she blended the massage with the facial. The package also included a manicure and pedicure and I left feeling so pampered. Every staff member there is so accommodating and friendly. And it’s in the cutest spot in the village square. This is my new favourite spot and I’ll definitely be back soon! Booked a couples massage a few weekends ago, the massage was relaxing and the massage therapists were very professional and made sure that we were comfortable and relaxed during the massage. Two stars off from my rating for the “before and after massage” experience though — it was our first time there, and we were told that there was a complimentary sauna which was nice. However we were not briefed as well as we had hoped... the receptionist led us to the sauna and shower area and said we could use the lockers. After the sauna and a brief shower we realized that we had to go downstairs for the massage, but did not have slippers (and were not offered any either, and we weren’t told til i asked that the massage room was downstairs). We also weren’t sure if we should leave our clothes and jackets in the locker upstairs. There was no one upstairs, So i grabbed some slippers from a cart (i chose not to wear my street boots with the bathrobe) and had to go down in my robe straight to front desk to ask. We were told by the massage therapists (not front desk) that we could change downstairs after the massage, so we lugged our coats, shoes clothes, and my purse downstairs, awkwardly, in our robes. Would have been nice if we had been given the option to change in the massage room in the first place. There were some customers getting mani pedis so it was a bit awkward to be seen doing all these, and the noise from that area could be heard in the couples massage room too. we just tried to zone it out. Another star taken off for the hors d’ oeuvres listed on their services pamphlet, but were never offered. We had to ask for water to bring with us to the sauna. I saw a lot of teacups and a tea selection but we were never offered tea, and we were not told if these were for sale. We ended up having tea at the neighbouring tea shop. We weren’t told if we could shower after the massage either. I wanted to use my 100$ gift certificate and two 50$ wayspa gc’s, but had asked how it works if i’ll have balance left on the card. The receptionist apologized and asked if i could just pay a small portion in cash because she was unsure of how to go about with having remaining balance on a wayspa card. Not a big deal but i didn’t expect her to not know. All in all, the place is charming but the customer service was lacking, at least from our visit.

It was a good thing I had a gift card to this Spa and wasn't paying for it myself, because the lady that did my manicure was super distracted and did a horrible job on it. She left streaky marks all throughout the nail polish, and globbed it on too thick in some areas that the manicure only lasted me TWO days. She spent the entire time talking to another customer and another employee and their children. Then at the end of the manicure, I wasn't even sure where she went?? She just got up and left and never returned. So I sat there for a bit, and then left when I realized she wasn't coming back. I will NEVER return to this place.

Frist time I was at this amazing spa I had a facial with Carina. She was so amazing and new her stuff I left feeling so refreshed and my skin was glowing. Then because of the great experience I had I decided for my husband 50th birthday I would book a couple’s massage. I was so happy to see that Carina was going to be one of the ladies doing them. Frist my husband and I had a sauna the we were taken to a beautiful room were we were treated like a king and a queen. Carina and Beverly took amazing care of us and I couldn’t be more happy. I will definitely be back and I will definitely be asking for Carina. Thank you to both Carina and Beverly for making my husband’s birthday.

I have been a client of Tiffany’s at Let it Heal for around 10 years or more. It’s safe to say I have made the move with them every time (like many others undoubtedly). That says a lot about the service they offer and the people they are. With their recent addition of a new business, Spa in the Village, it only made sense to move downtown Burlington to incorporate both businesses under one roof. I treated both my mum and daughter for their birthdays recently, and was enjoyed by all. They had facials and pedicures and I chose aromatherapy massage and manicure. The staff are wonderful, the building decor is beautiful and services that were received by us were very good. Give yourself an hour or two to unwind and relax, or purchase a gift certificate for someone in your life who you think deserves some time for them. These girls are great!! I live in the states now but every time I come to visit I book an appt. I will continue to do so and now with the option of additional services I just may need to spend a day rather an hour hahaha. On a side note, there is some beautiful artwork hanging in the spa that is for sale. Done by one of their talented employees. Be sure to check them out as well. Good luck ladies. I went a while before lockdown. The staff are all super friendly and calming. I had a great experience the one time I went. It is also situated in a really cute spot. I will definitely be returning when I get the chance to!

I've been to Spa in the Village on a few occasions and always very relaxed and happy with the services I receive. I had a "Dream Day" at the Spa last week with Carina. I highly recommend her! She pampered me with massage oils, excellent massage techniques, a lovely facial, mani & pedicure (this was a gift from my bf) Carina took her time, was attentive and definitely made me feel relaxed. She did a great job, I enjoyed myself very much!! This Spa has a very relaxing atmosphere and friendly vibe. I think it's great everything they use is environmentally friendly too. Highly recommend :)

Sadly I have had to change my review to 0 stars. Itially i gave a 5 as there were not any issues.( For about a year) Beverly is amazing cannot say enough about her !! More recently their customer service has significantly declined I left the "spa" feeling angry , unheard and taken advantage of! I brought it to their attention and the situation was not rectified or even "made right". It is because of that I feel it is necessary to leave this amended review Providing great service to a "new " customer is nice. But a customer of 2 years who visits regularly and has an established relationship should be treated just as well if not better.

The pedicure I got was great! but the staff were even better. My grandmother in law and I went for pedicures and brought my 4 month old with us. She got fussy about 5 minutes in, the technicians were nothing short of understanding and even went the extra mile and took turns walking her so I could enjoy my time! I would reccomend this place to all my friends and family

Have been seeing Tiffany for bowen treatments whenever I have back or neck issues for about 6 years. She is amazing and always fixes me in just 1 or 2 sessions although I'll normally try and get a 3rd session in just to maintain because I usually only need treatment once a year. It's the most effective and non-invasive therapy I've had and I highly recommmend Tiffany as she really has a gift for healing. Their new location at Spa in the Village makes the visits even more enjoyable as it's such a lovely part of Burlington. I have had the ion foot baths and they are also amazing. Finally, Amanda is a great massage therapist. I'm actually not a massage fan but had a couple lymphatic massages and loved it. Can highly recommend the quality, professionalism and friendly care of this business.

DO NOT DO Laser hair removal here !! She has no idea what she's doing she burnt me so badly I have permanent scars on my neck I had to go to the hospital !! (Owner) So unprofessional she told me to ice the burn and it's normal ?? And that it was just me and my skin. I've been doing laser hair removal for many of years and it was always painless with no burns .Save yourself the damage.

This was my first visit to Spa in the village and I was very pleased with the service provided by the esthetician who provided the service and some of the other staff. I was not pleased by the initial greeting, my appointment was at 4.00 on a Wednesday afternoon and I arrived at 3.55, checked in by the reception and was asked to take a seat. I followed those instructions and sat there for another 15 minutes and no one volunteered to inform me that I had a wait or sorry for being late. I had an opportunity to used the washroom which was not becoming of a spa downtown Burlington. It was not clean and the one towel seemed over used. My appointment did not being until 4.25 and I never received an apology. These are just observations to make improvements.

I expected a lot more from the experience. My husband had got me a Mother's Day package which included a pedicure, facial, and massage. The facial was the only nice thing. I have two cuts on my toes from the pedicure and the polish started to chip a day after! The massage was amateur at best. I'm embarrassed that my husband spent money on this poor package

My husband and I came in for massages and pedicures yesterday. The services and facilities were outstanding, we felt pampered, relaxed and well cared for. Everyone was so accommodating, we had a tiny hiccup with the scheduling of our services however, Spa at The Village went over and above to solve the issue quickly and got us in for our scheduled appointment with enough time to make our lunch reservations. Thank you to the receptionist, manager, and the estheticians, you made our day and we were touched by the extra details you provided. We will certainly be back again!

I had my second facial at Spa in the Village - this time with Amanda! It was an hour and a half Botinal - GM Collins facial and I came out of that feeling so relaxed and nurtured (and ready for bed). As promised the next day my skin looked super hydrated, calm and glowing! This will become a regular monthly event in my life going forward!!!

I had an amazing half day at this beautiful spa, my friend and I booked a package which included an advanced facial, an hour massage, an aromatherapy scalp massage, an infrared sauna, snacks and a pedicure! My husband and I came in today for the couple’s retreat package to celebrate our anniversary. What an incredible experience! We got hot stone massages, facials, pedicures and spent time in the sauna. Every part of our experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Sara and Carina were knowledgable, friendly, kind and professional. Not only did they provide exceptional service, they were also so fun to talk to and made us feel very comfortable. Also, important to note that the spa was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning here for other occasions! Would definitely recommend!
