This is such an excellent Brantford business. I so appreciate when an entrepreneur sees a gap in Brantford and fills it with their energy and innovative thinking. I am 6.5 months pregnant and haven't slept well in a week because of spine pain. One hour in a float tank... I slept 9 hours last night! A much needed pause in all of our busy lives. Plus the family that runs this business is beyond compare (compassionate, friendly, thoughtful). Less inflammation, less joint pain and a calm mind. Float on, Brantford!

Exceptional and Relaxing. I'd highly recommend this for someone who has high stress. It was incredibly relaxing and the owners are informative and super kind. The bath areas were well equipped for your needs and very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you need to de-stress.

This experience was offered to me as a birthday gift. I had NO IDEA what to expect. i never even heard of such a thing before. Floating to me was something I did in the oceans thanks to salt water. The experience itself is fantastic. I'm hooked. This is an owner-operated place and you can feel lots of love goes into this place. The rooms are private, clean and secure and offer the supplies you need. There are choices of tubs, I chose the larger one, with no music, no lights, just total calm. The time zoomed fast. I couldn't help but thinking of the feeling of babies in a womb, floating in delight. Zero gravity feel, zero effort. Zero thought. Zero cares. It's a very peaceful place. I could see why people with high pressure jobs go there to "tune out", or why creatives go there to "zone into" their place of inspiration. Put it on your bucket list. It's a cool thing to experience!

Go there and for a couple of hours, forget about the outside world. Owner is a very positive dynamic and cool human. Hidden gem in Brantford, worth the drive.

Took my mom here for an early mother's day gift and wow it was incredible! The water feels almost silky when you are in and your body is just covered in it. It actually helped my extremely dry hands get moisturized, and my hair felt soft and silky after. It was both of our first time in the cabins and we didn't sleep, but it was really dark to the point where if you lift up your arm you cannot see it in front of you. We both enjoyed a complementary massage after the tank as they played the wrong music then what we originally requested. The stuff they played was still great but just not what we wanted, but the massage chairs were absolutely amazing! It's not your typical massage chair from the mall, it goes from your feet all the way to your head, with arms and everything. Absolutely fantastic! We also enjoyed some smoothies. The berry and mango ones. Mango was verrry thick if you enjoy that kind of a drink but the berry was more liquidy. Atmosphere the moment you walk in is very calming. The colors on the walls remind us of what you'd see on a tropical island. When you enter the room, the first 5 minutes is a quick rinse, you have your hour float and you have 30 minutes after the time is up to rinse off and leave the room. We chose the cabin, and It's very roomy, you can completely stretch out in there. With all the salt you do not have to put in ANY effort into staying afloat, and they offer a pillow for your head to help keep it straight. Lights stay on for the first 10 minutes and then turn off. Music of your choice stays on throughout the hour. When it's time to get out, the lights turn on and the jungle music starts playing. After about 5 minutes, the lights start to flash to help wake you up. The shower is right when you exit the cabin and you might want to bring your own products to use AFTER the float, but there is some provided for before the float. In all, this was an amazing experience with friendly staff, highly recommend the float and massage chairs. Will definitely be back.

Sauna and personal gym are very private and cleaned after every use. Personalized lockers and robes are supplied if you are doing more than one service. They offer electronic massage chairs Ayurvedic Consultation and treatments. If you are into singing, they offer personalized singing coach and a recording studio. Yoga for kids and adults. I don’t know what I love more, the smoothies, the workouts, the floats or the people. Actually, I only love the workouts when I’m finished lol, Adecia is an excellent personal trainer. I am grateful to her ability to adapt to my medical needs and she knows how to push me to my true capacity without overdoing it. The workouts are definitely worth the sense of accomplishments and the smoothie reward I give myself after. I loved the float experience as well, the sense of peace I get in the tank is so refreshing, to be able to float away my day to day stresses, from having kids, being a student, working and COVID, I just don’t have the words to express how much I love floating. I’m super excited to try their other services as a member, they have art lessons, a sauna, and I think I saw a recording room on my tour.

I have "floated" at this facility approximately 12 times and have enjoyed every float. My most recent float, I booked a 60min float but was only allotted a 45min float. The Cabin was not ready and I was not able to get into the cabin to begin my float until 15min into the 60min that was booked. When the 45min was up a blue light came on and a voice abruptly stated that the float was over. I bit of a rude awakening. My experience on my previous floats the light gradually came on with music which also gradually got louder. A much more relaxing and pleasant way to resurface from the experience. Staff need to be more on the ball getting people into the float chamber on the hour so they can have a 60min float which is what was paid for. I did not mention this at the end of my float to staff, but i should have, and decided to do so in this review so that this does not happen again, or does not become the norm. If it were not for this issue i would have given at least 4 stars. Despite the issue, I will use the facility again, as otherwise it is well run, but if this becomes a habit, I will stop attending Nu-u Float.

I’ve gone to this studio twice now & it seems to be a better experience each time. Both times I was greeted with by a warm inviting staff member. I prefer the dream pod , although it may look small and crowded to some, it’s actually pretty roomy. The first time I floated I was blown away by the effortless ease of how the salt water actually keeps you afloat . I usually opt in with the pillow at first until I get comfortable then I remove it as my muscles start to relax more freely. I have them play the music & watch the colours as I unwind. The second time I even felt myself drifting off (falling asleep) ... after each float I always felt so refreshed & clean. But be careful not to itch your face while in it, you could get a salty taste in your mouth which I made the mistake of doing the first time. I highly recommend doing this to anyone who wants to try something new & relaxing . And the price isn’t outrageous either . I believe they also have a refer a friend program . Which is always a bonus .

I have attended at Nu U Float several times and have always had a five star experience. The facility is spotless and the staff are welcoming, helpful and very knowledgable. I love the calming energy and atmosphere and customers are invited to stay a little longer and enjoy some kombucha or tea or even just conversation. I have purchased floats as gifts for family and friends and they too have had only incredible experiences at this wonderful, warm and welcoming retreat. I highly recommend Nu U Float as well as their yoga and fitness classes.

I have nothing but good things to say about this studio! Booking was quick, and easy and communication with the staff was effortless. I booked online and I MADE AN ERROR and didn't complete my booking. When I called to confirm my appointment, Francois notified me of my error. Without a hesitation, he offered to have someone come and RE-open the spa for me. Anyone in my opinion, that is willing to go above and beyond for customers and their growing business is A+ in my books. The studio itself was clean, and Zen like. The welcoming nature of Francois shows his true character and the smell of the shampoo alone is enough for me to return!!
