Only paid $$39 for almond shaped acrylics.
I read the bad reviews before coming here. I don’t understand their issues. Someone says “they talk to other employees while their doing your nails. That’s rude because it’s a service.” Yes, they do talk to each other whilst doing your nails, but I wasn’t talkative in the first place. What do you want them to do, sit there in silence? They’re human beings. They even have a tv in there. I was entertained. And people also say “she was hurting me”. Yes, sometimes filling or clipping hurts. They are not mind readers. It doesn’t even hurt that much. When I twitched because of a small pain, she apologized and was more gentle. These poor reviews on here are so useless. Just people nitpicking.
It’s actually very comfy. Chairs were comfy, wrist wrests, professional grade polish, clean sink, UV light right at your torso.
My issues are only two, but they’re not even issues. More of thoughts.
1. I have taken a cosmetology corse before in school. Cuticle clips are supposed to be used for fraying dead skin. Cuticle pushers come first. That’s the method. But here there wasn’t a pusher used and just the clips. Confusing, but these nails are strong regardless. I was worried about it attaching to dead skin on the cuticle and peeling off but she was very accurate.
2. When I tipped at the counter the man sitting there wasn’t really focused. I don’t know if he know who the tip was going to. I hope it’s not the whole store, because I wanted to go to the girl directly.
So why I give this place five stars is the ladies know what they’re doing and the place is beautiful and comfy. Also, my appointment was for 3, came in at 2:55 and she apologized for me waiting. They didn’t even do anything wrong. Girls were nice regardless.
