So far the only service I have completed at the spa. Is their laser. Being a first time laser patient I was hestiant to have laser done on my face. However, with the staff's knowledge and experience they can calm any nerves. They technicians are always so friendly and helpful,wether that be after hour consultations with multiple questions. Looking forward for continued services with you guys.

I came here by recommendation from my friend Olivia, she knows my struggle with my hair and how particular I am about it, so she booked me in with Melanie, said she was great. Melanie exceeded all my expectations, I was nervous coming in because I am so used to being told this is what you have to do, and no other option, etc. Melanie listened to exactly what I wanted before we started, I told her that I had this fear of cutting my hair so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to. She assured me that she would show me how much she would take off and would do no more. My whole experience from the moment I walked in was amazing. The ladies at the front desk were super sweet, the waiting area and bathroom was spotless as well as the area they do hair. Melanie made me feel totally comfortable, checked on me while my hair was processing and explained all my product options to use at home IF I wanted to. This is the first time I have left a salon after getting my hair done, truly happy! Thank you again Melanie and Olivia, I absolutely love my hair!!

Beautiful spa! Clean, well laid out, organized with friendly reception. Talented estheticians offering many options. Melanie and Antonello are great hair stylists. It is a medical spa so they provide more treatments than just the "normal" spa offerings. Prices and treatments are on their website so it is worth checking them out online. I'll be back.

I’ve been here 3 times so far because I have had a good experience every time. The staff are friendly and the Registered Massage Therapists are good. The last time I went I did have to wait 20 mins for my scheduled appointment but the massage made it worth the wait. Haven’t tried any other service yet. Very relaxing, nice ambiance, professional staff. I would recommend if you’re in downtown Brampton.

This is the best place to get the treatments for yourself and your family. This was my first experience doing PRP for my hair. Dr.Rohit Nagpa was very profesisonal. I even noticed good results after my first treatment great results after my 3rd. Unbelievable!!! I higly recommend Astra Medicare. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Had 2 PRP treatments done simultaneously--face and "P-shot". Having experienced other clinics, and also having a deep technical understanding of the treatments and how they are best employed, I can say EVERY aspect of my experience was top notch and exceeded what I was expecting from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left. My friend recommended I go here for a hair cut and balayage. Neither of us live in Brampton and I thought it was a bit far to drive to just to have my hair done, but I totally get why they make the drive. Antonello did a fantastic job! I was feeling a little under the weather so I didn't feel like having a conversation while I was getting my hair done but instantly as he was doing my hair his conversation distracted me from feeling under the weather. He was really polite and funny! I definitely recommend him and I will now be making the drive from Toronto to Brampton to have my hair done.

I must revise my review from a couple of months ago as I was disappointed the second time I came to this spa but after seeing my review the owner contacted me directly and asked to give them a second chance with a complimentary massage and facial (what I had prior) She said she would take care of it and rectify the situation and was very apologetic. So I agreed and I came a third time and it was good! Way better than the last time. So thank you very much I appreciate the effort and taking the time to fix the situation. Astra Medi Spa has been a huge blessing for my skincare and wellbeing. First time I went there was for a massage which I enjoyed. I then found out they did IV therapy (Glutathione, VitC, B &D) which I booked for 10 weeks and they were kind enough to give me a huge discount. Katarina, my nurse knows her stuff and is so warm and lovely. Gita took care of my facial, truly the best I’ve ever ever had!! She was so thorough and took excellent care of my specific skin needs. I also got an under arm wax recently and Gita did a decent job. Receptionists are lovely and the owner is too. Lifetime customer for sure as long as the quality of their servicesremains sane others even better.

Amazing results! this is the only place I go to for laser hair removal. I am someone with blonde/light brown colored hair. The Physician was completely honest with me and told me that the chances of me achieving the results a person with darker hair would were not as high but that she would work with me to get the best results possible.... the results have been incredible. Although I had to do a few more sessions and probably I endured a little more pain than someone with darker hair, it gave me the results I wanted. They are the Best in Brampton.

Looking at the good reviews I gave this place a try. My experience has been nothing but horrible. I came here for botox services for my masseter muscle pains. They had mentioned 10% off on first visit for botox services on their website, I called them up to confirm but was told it wasn't for botox services but they would offer me $20 off for my first botox treatment. So, I scheduled my visit. I arrived at scheduled time but had to wait half an hour for my procedure. The nurse who operated, didn't even wipe area of treatment and only injected at 2 spots instead of covering whole muscle area evenly (I have been getting this treatment for a while so I know the right process), she also appeared to be in a rush that was off-putting. When it was time for payment, they told me the $20 off offer was only for fillers. So essentially, they LIED on their website, LIED on the phone and gave a very poor service for the amount of money I spent. Moreover, It has been well over 2 weeks and I still do not feel any difference and pain is still there that usually goes away as per my previous experiences. This place has been nothing but a big Disappointment.

I have heard amazing things about this spa from working in the business industry. I'm a mystery shopper in the Greater Toronto Area where I check out and visit various businesses. I have been putting off this review now for a while because I wanted to see maybe I can get an appointment in for this location. I had called to book in a men's facial, rmt massage and also, find out about Cool Sculpting. I wanted to know what was included in the facial and how to go about Cool Sculpting. The receptionist on the phone seemed like she didn't know about the service or price. She had told me the Cool Sculpting Technician also the manager wasn't in and she would call me back later on that day. Still haven't got a call back :/ and it's been 3 days. She had then put me on hold for almost 4 minutes to find out about the facial which was pretty long which turned me away. I was still interested in the massage services they provided. I recently found out from one of my wife's friend who goes there often to get massages done that they told her she was going to be with the rmt she always books with but then sends her in a room with someone else. I did some research on Astra and also came to find out they have another location in Brampton. I had checked the reviews out and also found out they run insurance scams. I was not a client and I don't plan on bringing business here due to lack of professionalism and inconsistency. If I could give a no star I would. - Sean Kuhwal

Been coming to this place since previous owners; now under new management (3 years) the calibre of this spa has increased! The services are amazing, the staff make you feel welcome, treat you like friends; when I come here, I relax and am treated very well - I never leave unhappy. IMO, Irena is amazing - she has changed my skin after one microdermic-abrasion treatment. Sylvie is great too - I had a consult and she was very knowledgeable. This is not your "typical cheap spa" - if you want quality and time taken to be pampered, this is the place to go in Brampton (yes, even over Hahn's). These guys care about your skin.

I found the place to be very clean, quiet and most of all peaceful. The staff is very accommodating. The location is ideal. I went on short notice for an IV treatment (therapy) because of the results my 38 yr old sibling was enjoying. More energy, better sleep, less anxieties, better memory, and healthy looking. The service from the Naturopath was excellent. She was able to address all my concerns being almost 70 yrs old. I was there just yesterday and today I feel mentally and physically stronger. I would definitely be doing monthly visits. I highly recommend this place.

There do not enforce wearing masks.i was there for 1/2 hour and within that time there were 3 ppl without protection. They do not even have any to give out. I was going to go back but after seeing their lax attitude towards this deadly virus, I won't even go close to it nor will i recommend it to anyone. ????

I have got coolsulpting done from Astra Medi Spa. Staff was very knowledgeable and professional and they answered all my concerns. Just like everyone else I had done my research done on coolsulpting and once I went for consultation with Svitlana, she assured me that it works and guess what IT DOES WORK!!!!! If you’re thinking about it my advice would be ‘do it’. They’re very reasonable in price since I have went around couple of places to get consultation. Update (Jan. 12/22) I was back to Astra to see Dr. Kumar for the rest of my injectables ~ again, his technique is expert level. Pain free, no bruising and a really great experience (considering it consists of needles in the face! ????) Also had a boost ???? of vitamin D with Dr Blesko. ** Daily Covid testing for staff has been implemented. Medical grade sanitization, mandatory masks and other measures are still in place to ensure health and safety for all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The spa was really easy for me to find and had free parking. There was Covid screening right in the vestibule that you enter into and once you’ve done your screening, you can advance through into the reception area. It’s beautifully decorated in Tiffany blue and silver with crystals you can tell as soon as you enter that this is a place that loves all things beautiful and really just respects beauty - it’s so pretty and bright and very, very, very clean!! I was welcomed warmly by Svitlana and we went into my beautiful and bright private treatment room where Dr. Kumar did my treatments. There’s a number of different rooms depending on which treatment that you’re receiving. Each room is beautiful and (worth repeating) spotless! The artwork throughout is incredible! It really is such a lovely place and it’s got the most warm and welcoming atmosphere - this spa will really make you feel special!

I am writing this review to show how horrible the company is. I had the most amazing massage and when it came to pay, they gave me receipt with not RMT number. The manager Amanda "apparently" is with a client and no reachable so the inexperience receptionist. I have waited for a call back from 1pm and it is now 330pm and there is still no response. How crooked ....submitted my claimed to the insurance company is my right not Astras. Just found out that they are fraudulent - I asked for an RMT massage - turns out the person that performed services - Vera Frolov - Is NOT a registered RMT. I have reported this business.

My husband and I went for a Swedish couples massage. It was our second time in our life to get a massage and although we may not have much experience both Angela and Michelle provided us with a very relaxing massage. The atmosphere was lovely and clean. Very cute decor and home-like feel. I also really enjoyed the delicious aromas. The customer service was great too! They provided us with complementary wine and cheese, as we just recently got married. Everyone was super nice. Thank you for a great experience. We'll probably go again and try other services too!

I discovered Astra Medi Spa on Facebook, looked into it and booked an appointment for a hot stone massage but sadly was very disappointed. For starters I requested an RMT and it did not feel like an RMT felt more like a regular massage even though I asked for more pressure. Most of the massage was done without the stones I had approximately 10 minutes with the stones. I discussed and requested my back, neck, shoulders and arms to work on but I had to ask again for my neck and shoulders. It was also not relaxing because all I could hear was the talking downstairs. Overall the service was not worth my time or the price.

A lovely little spa in downtown Brampton with tons of services, everything from mani-pedi's to hair salon, to laser hair removal, to actual physiotherapy. When emailed query about an appointment they were very quick to give me a call back. They accept WaySpa gift certificates and it was very easy to redeem. Massage was excellent, although the rooms for them could use a little bit of sound-proofing. Not as relaxing when you can hear chatter from downstairs over the standard spa music. I've been having pain in my shoulder for months and the morning after my massage at Astra was the first time I woke up pain free in a long while. If I lived closer I'd probably go here a lot. As it is, I can definitely see myself making another massage appointment the next time I'm in town.

My wife has regular spa appointments at Astra Medi and she thoroughly enjoys all the services they provide. The staff (Amanda & team) are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and are very very helpful. The services that my wife uses are many -- ranging from a manicure & pedicure to a facial. She also uses their hair salon AND my 12 year old son now uses the same stylist as my wife. He thinks she (Melanie) is "really cool and fun". Thanks Astra Medi Spa for making my wife happy! Very energizing and refreshing!!! In the last 6months I’ve been experiencing a decline in my health, lack of energy, hard to focus, easy bruising, headaches/pressure, pale skin to name a few..I got IV treatments from AstraMediSpa and after my second visit I felt a tremendous difference!!! I feel awake, fresh, my headaches are GONE, no more bruising and I have energy for days!!! I absolutely loveee it and recommend it to everyone. In addition to amazing results, every visit was so welcoming, the people there are so kind and the place is super clean.

I don't typically do reviews, but today I had to make sure I had the time to write this. Astra Medicare is by far one of the best establishments of business I have ever been to. This is also coming from someone who has gone to many different spas and medi centers for various treatments. But you will never find this kind of customer service, friendliness, and kindness, not to mention knowledgeability anywhere else. All staff know what they are doing and the best part is no matter how busy it is they make sure to let you know their clients are their priorities. I go weekly and special shout out to Svetlana, this woman right here gives the best advise and will suggest based on her expertise what is better for you and will always tell you why. I come here weekly for treatments and I will gladly come here for everything else. One stop shop. Love this place, you've got a client for life! Thank you for all that you guys do!

I went to this spa for a deep tissue RMT massage and was scheduled to see Diana. I was suffering from severe chronic pain and really needed some help. Diana was nothing short of amazing. Do not let her petite frame fool you! She is very well skilled at delivering deep tissue massages which did wonders for my back which was extremely tight and stiff. Moreover, she is very personable and quickly makes you at ease. The receptionist is also quite friendly and the clinic is located in an excellent location. I highly recommend!

I wouldn't usually...but I was so upset with the most recent review, that I had to go for it. I've been at the spa 3 times in the last few months and let me tell you, they are definitely health and safety cautious! You aren't allowed to enter the building without a mask, being personally sanitized and signing in. So, i really think that review about multiple people being around with no masks, is probably a fake. Second, these people are unreal, ready for anything, have appointed doctors and experienced RNs on staff. They are so unbelievably caring AND will do anything to make you feel like you're worth a mill$$ I could move 3 hours away and i'd still only come here for my self-care! Will definitely be back after lockdown!

This place is a real gem, it's beautiful inside and the staff is soo pleasant. My body scrub, mask and thermal wrap with massage was lovely...everything was perfect and Rose was the sweetest...this was a great experience and would recommend to everyone..

I have visited this spa on several occasions over the past two years and always enjoyed a great experience. However when I went for a facial on 12/31/19 I was told they no longer accept WAYSPA gift cards and had to pay out of my pocket. I was very disappointed as they never communicated they no longer accept WAYSPA gift cards.

The location is great but the parking is limited. It's also a converted house so the walls are thin and you can hear the street traffic which deters from the relaxation you're supposed to have. Unfortunately I also found the washroom was a little filthy.. Anyways, I went there twice for a full body massage, while the first time was great with hot stones ,the second appointment was disappointing. I requested a shorter massage (45 mins) for the second time because it's quite pricey and was told that I would still receive hot stones, but only received it on the upper body. The RMT was good but overall the price is way too expensive for what you're getting :(

I recently had the Perfect Derma Peel at Astra Medicare, administered by Svitlana. This is the first time that I have had this kind of peel and the first time that I have been to Astra Medicare. I am 58 years old and have fine lines, age spots, and a dullness to my complexion, that I was hoping to improve with the Perfect Derma Peel. It has been a couple of weeks post peel and I am thrilled with the results. This peel really is "the perfect peel". I can honestly say that the results are AMAZING; beyond my expectations. I am so happy with the outcome and the confidence that it has given me. I will definitely continue to be a customer of this spa and recommend their services to all of my friends and family. The spa is beautiful and the staff are exceptional. Svitlana is an angel. She is so sweet and kind, and cares about you, in every aspect of your life. This is an amazing place to treat yourself and your loved ones. They have a wide range of treatments available from a to z. The staff are top notch and very knowledgeable with the way they handle things; they definitely make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Unlike many other spas, they never ever push any sale on you and sometimes they even recommend less than what you ask for if that's what's best for you. I had an amazing experience with the nurse Caterina, she was so kind and caring. I can say that I trust her with my eyes closed. She has a very light hand and she makes you feel so comfortable that you feel at peace in her presence. I also want to say thank you to all the kind, smiley girls at the front desk. They're all so welcoming. Special thank you to Manisha for all of her help and patience, she is such a kind soul. Went to the clinic through a recommendation of a friend to try a new treatment. The building is gorgeous, clean, and bright. The team members are positive, polite, and professional. There are several floors, each one with a range of technology (think IV rooms, cool sculpting, botox/filler, lasers etc.,)! Many options in one space. The owner looks amazing and totally natural which assured me that I was in good hands! Great first experience and I will be back!

I booked an appointment for an RMT about a week in advance. I got a confirmation call about 24 hrs before the appointment, but a few hours (about 3/4) before the appointment time, I got a voicemail saying my appointment had to be cancelled because the massage therapist was sick. The staff members I dealt with were polite and professional, but as a business the spa refused to provide me any incentive or offers to make up for the inconvenience even after I inquired. This is concerning because had I cancelled less than 24 hrs before the appointment, the cancellation policy says I would be charged. I did not have a bad experience per se but I am not motivated to book another appointment at this place. Therefore the 3 stars. Edit: I was contacted by the spa and offered a complementary 60min massage to make up for the previously cancelled appointment. I admire that immediate steps were taken by the spa and I am adding this edit because I was not expecting to hear from them. I have scheduled the appointment and will update my review once I have visited the spa. For now, I am changing my review to 4 stars for this reason.

My go-to spa in Brampton! I had my very first massage here and they made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. Was hooked on coming here ever since! Since then I've scheduled a few hair styling appointments, and also had my first facial right before my wedding. Again, despite my concerns of breaking out right before the biggest day of my life, they assured me that everything would be fine and walked me through the whole process to make sure I was comfortable. Got the Astra Teen facial here. My skin felt nice right after she finished. She went through my face and popped white/black heads. She popped one on my cheek and said that it is a little red there since it was under the skin. She sad it’ll go away. It has been about 5 days since I received the facial and I have a mark on my face from where she popped it. It has been here since that day and it is dried up blood under the skin. I’m not mad, just a bit upset because if she knew it would cause a red mark, she should have asked, at least, if I would be okay with her popping something so deep and warned me about possible scarring/marks.
