The WORST haircut I have EVER had. So bad I was embarrassed to go out in public to get it fixed. NEVER going back. Went in for a trim. Came out with a reverse mullet.

Head lice ! Not a clean facility Got my haircut here on Aug 17. A week and a half later my head was full of lice. Never had lice in my life until then. And due to covid19 I have not interacted with anyone else. Furthermore I asked for a trim and Diane hacked 7" off my hair in under 5 minutes. My family member (different household) recently got a cut here this past Monday and they now have lice too. Hmmmm.... I'm disgusted tbh.... and will be contacting health officials.

I brought my 9 year old daughter in.. We saw a lady, middle aged, her chair was on the right side closest to the reception desk. Rude and short with my daughter.. Literally no social skills with kids.. Was very annoyed and actually snapped at her once. We won't go back.

This is the worst first choice in Belleville by far. They do not know how to estimate in cm/inches as I have asked for max an inch taken off and yet again they decided to screw me over and take 3 inches off. Make sure they are aware of how much you want taken off, really make sure you stress it. Maybe bring a ruler just in case. They might work better with visuals. Not very bright....

I had a haircut at the Gander NL location of First Choice yesterday. I was to have 7 inches cut off. It was measured several times to show her where to cut. My hair when I went in was down past my butt. Now I cant even put it in a pony tail as the hair is too short on the bottom. How does a trained professional cut an entire head of hair off by mistake. I contacted the owner and was offered a free $17 haircut to even up what's left. Seriously???? Not to mention she waxed my eyebrows off at the arch ... never again!!!

The same lady gave myself and my fiancé the worst haircuts we have ever had over the course of a year. We will not be going to the north front location ever again simply because if the older lady with long frizzy grey hair cuts our hair we will be refusing her services. She cuts it chunky, she doesn’t use the picture for reference. When I brought up that usually I get the back buzzed she just dismissed it. Awful experience. No name tag was worn either so I don’t know her name.

A friend of mine went in today for a haircut and it looked like a 3 year old finished her hair with a pair of safety scissors and a blindfold. Never going here won't recommend to anyone to ever go here! When it was brought up the hairdresser never apologized. What a mess.

I went today there for haircut for the first time and definitely this is my last time too. I asked the lady with specs to do step cutting on the sides even i showed her the picture too. She was cutting my hair very fast fast without paying attention what she’s doing and in the last she totally ruined my hairs. Even her behaviour towards me was rude. So, i am not going to recommend any one to this place.

Cheap haircut, but really depends on who you get. I didn't feel for a moment that they wanted me there yesterday. Started off with three of them looking at each other, seeing who would take me. (None of them had customers) and they said "Its not like we don't want to take you...we just take turns". Whatever. After one of them started cutting my hair she asked "have you ever tried the other first choice?" Why ask that? I responded with "I have actually, and I found that I have had more luck here." Not that day. I felt like I was a waste of time to her and she just wanted to get thru it as quickly as possible. When I tried to say anything she just responded with 'yea/yup" like she really didn't care. I usually tip well, but not that day. The hair cut I got the time before this was the best one I had in a while. Maybe it's just time to try something different.
