From the moment you enter the spa, the atmosphere is serene and very aesthetically pleasing. The front desk staff were warm and inviting, and I was very well taken care of by everyone from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The spa is extremely clean, and I was impressed with the sterile environment/implements used for my treatment. MJ and her staff are extremely skilled and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of fantastic. I was impressed by the variety of services that are all offered under one roof. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a high end spa experience!

As the previous appointment, yesterday (August 1st) was my second appointment with Mrs. Minjung Lee for my first experience with The One Signature Facial. This facial service is absolutely different from The One Express Facial which would be more steps but still focus on the deep cleansing and clearing the acne. This service will be added the Microdermabrasion that is beneficial for those with enlarged pores, dull lifeless skin like mine, acne scars, and for aging as well (fine lines, sun damage, and facial imperfections). Honestly, I can see the huge different of skin tone from dull skin to brighten skin and would love her massage so much!!! For my next appointment with Mrs. Minjung, it could be The One Signature Facial or Laser that depends on how my skin will be improved after this second service. By the way, thank you so much for the awesome service yesterday. Much appreciate, Mrs. MJ ❤

The One face and body bar is my only contact for beauty and skincare services Near me. I live in Muskoka and love MJ and her team so much that I enjoy the drives to and from the spa. The One team are all super friendly and very professional. I’ve been coming to MJ for many years now and I am a regular for facials with dermabrasion, microneedling, laser genesis, and Botox. The facials and microneedling give my skin a fresh boost of life and the laser genesis plumps up my whole face, leaving me feel warm and cozy afterwards. Alena does my Botox and I trust only her with my face. I feel super safe and cared for while I’m at the spa, especially during Covid-19. I highly recommend this spa to everyone looking for skin care and body treatments that they would like to benefit from as well.

I have been going to see MJ for a couple months now to get microneedling and skin genesis treatments and my skin is loving it! There was very little/no downtime and I saw mmediate, and continuous results after each treatment. My skin has never looked better! MJ is the best, and really knows skin. She is informative, thorough and makes me feel more confident. The staff are very friendly...I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the spa/my experiences with them. I will be a lifelong client of theirs and strongly recommend to anyone (especially those with problematic skin)!

First and foremost, MJ is incredible. I've never felt more comfortable at a spa than I do here, and it's because she is so lovely, welcoming, and professional. I'm in the process of having my microblading removed with laser treatments, and it's been a far better experience than I was anticipating. My brows look better even after just one treatment, and might only need two more to be completely rid of any pigments. Facials here are also top tier. I went to THE ONE Face and Body Bar for a pedicure and a lash tint. The lady who performed my services was very friendly and knowledgable. I was happy with the appearance of the lash tint and my pedicure looked great. That being said, the day after I got my pedicure, my left big toe was very red, swollen, and painful. I thought it might go away, but when the next day it was worse, I went to the Doctor. Turns out I contracted a bacterial infection after getting my pedicure and now I am on antibiotics 4 times a day to treat it. My doctor said that this can happen when the equipment is not sanitized/cleaned properly. The service was great, but I likely wont be going back in fear of this happening again.

I can’t say enough about how much I love visiting this place. After a consult with MJ, I purchased a laser genesis package with micro needling. I had 2 laser treatments followed by one micro needling, and another laser. I couldn’t believe the improvement in my skin. I have had issues with acne scarring and large pores most of my adult life. The spots are just fading away. I can’t wait for my last two treatments. The spa staff are nice, the place is spotless, and they are adhering to all covid precautions. MJ is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. She also helped with choosing the right serum and wash for my face. Both have helped my skin tremendously. I will continue to visit for all my spa needs.

I visited this establishment last Saturday and I was extremely happy with their service and the outcome of treatments. The place was very comforting and relaxing. I was surprised that it has so much room inside than it looks from the outside. I received Microdermabrasion and Laser Genesis after consulting with MJ. She was straightforward on suggesting what would be the best treatments for my thin skin type. I did not feel any discomfort or pain during the treatments and that made me feel so much comfortable. I had lost both Addi and MJ recently as I used to get serviced by them separately at different locations and I am ecstatic to have found them both in one location yay!! Their expertise surpasses any other experience I have had In Barrie. I appreciate Addi's knowledge in controlling my ingrown toenail issues as this could be a painful experience otherwise, and with her help, my own nails have become long and healthy. I have purchased the 3D Rejuvenate package and have seen instant results. (My Husband took before and after pics to prove me wrong and he lost the battle and had to admit defeat)...since then I've been addicted to this place and treated myself to another package- the One Signature Package! This place will not disappoint! I could go on ranting for hours about the staff the luxurious products the ambience, and the professional service but the 2 most important things for me, having had exposure to toxic chemicals in the past, is that the products are organic and that they carry out the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This is why I will continue to get services at THE ONE because I know I can relax, and enjoy the bliss without worrying about infection. I would highly recommend MJ and Addi and the Spa to anyone looking to treat themselves or buy a special gift for someone lets face it who doesn't want to be treated like royalty.... even if its just for a day.

I previously wrote a raving review which I have since removed after being so irked from my experience here and have even debated finally writing this honest review. I received extensive laser hair removal treatments through this spa and at first had impeccable results (with some still remaining today) and was initially greeted with friendly staff in a very clean facility. I noticed that throughout each visit there had always been a focus from staff on getting me to buy more things from the spa rather than just enjoying the experience of the visit, and when I asked to clarify the cost of a package (as the cost is only verbally negotiated for any discount - ie. Doing an area for free - and I wasn't fighting the price) I received the response of 'well we have to pay our bills too'. When I was firm about taking a break from doing laser hair removal for a while I was again urged to buy more, told that in order to be successful you have to keep at it and was comparatively told about another customer that spent at least $20,000 on sessions in order to have that success. While this experience may have been unique to only myself, this unprofessional behavior and the manner of pricing is what made me choose to look elsewhere. Having an area lasered here typically means paying the same price regardless of the area being 100% versus 15% (or more/less) covered with hair. To all that are new to laser hair removal, do your research, start small, and do what is best for you. Hormonal areas (any area of hair growth from onset of puberty) is more likely to grow back, albeit often lighter and thinner than before, rather than become hairless. I am giving this spa 3 stars because I have been happy with certain areas that were done. There are however many areas that I would never have done again and have had itchy dry spots of skin with no other cause but the laser treatments. I hope that no one else shares a similar experience as the one I unfortunately had and that this spa has grown respectively since this encounter.

This spa should gain so much more recognition! Probably one of the best in Barrie, it feels like a top of the line spa you’d probably find in Toronto. They offer amazing services using the highest quality products. The atmosphere is very calming and layed out just right. I leave there always feeling satisfied and brand new.
