The WHOLE office was such good vibes!!!! I had Teresina and she saw I was nervous. She was so professional and literally walked me through the whole process. She's very educated and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment even though it was a simple underarm wax. I really liked her and plan to make my monthly appointment with her. I have to bring this up as well. In many offices receptionist tend to be edgy and have very little patience. But the receptionist here (wish I got her name) was sooooo funny, answered any questions I had gladly and helped me with my appointments. Your whole staff are just A+++.

I will never go back (to anything other than sugaring) ever again! Prior to having my first visit with Pagan this week, I was a Brazilian virgin. Pagan was great at explaining the details, and setting the expectation that it was probably going to hurt the first round (spoiler alert: it did hurt but wasn’t nearly as bad as I’d imagined in my head). Pagan was great at making me feel comfortable about the whole process (I’m a bigger gal and these types of things can be crushing for self esteem. I assure you, that was not the case), and when everything was said and done, she provided me with incredible information about what to do post-sugaring to help prep for our next visit. It has to be said that I’ve never looked better down there as well! I don’t think I can ever go back to shaving now that I know what sugaring is like. Great local business! Definitely check them out!

I love Sugar Bare Body Bar for my pedicure. They use clean products which is what first brought me to their spa. Their pedicures are the BEST I have had in Barrie, actually, best I have had anywhere and I have had a lot of pedicures! The chair, the room, the actual pedicure, is all excellent from start to finish. It is hard for me to relax and read at other pedicures but here, I have no problem doing just that. I highly recommend this a spa destination in Barrie! (I also feel very safe with their COVID protocol.)

I've been going to Britt for my personal waxing needs for over two years now and I highly recommend it. Wax is organic and honey based it doesn't even bother my sensitive skin. First visit was a little scary, especially after watching 40-Year Old Virgin. ???? Skye is absolutely amazing. She knows her stuff. She ended up recommending me to get the finger mitt ingrown hair eliminator and it was great advice. Great experience, very affordable services, as opposed to shaving weekly with TONNES of ingrown hairs. After the first time, I was hooked! It feels great not having hair grow back for 2 weeks and when it does grow back, it’s very thin and scarce.

I gave 3 stars because the staff here is lovely. The Manicure rooms are great with comfy reclining chairs and they offer you a heated neck wrap or blanket. I used a gift card given to me by my mom. Overall a nice and relaxing experience However, My polish job was BAD. Normally, I go to nails for you or one of those kinds of salons. But even doing them myself is 10x better than what I received. I couldn't tell until the afternoon once everything had dried and I was done my errands. Won't be going back for this service.

My daughter and I went to Lotus today for her 12th birthday. We chose the location based on online reviews and their organic product line. We were happier with our services than we ever expected! The staff were amazing - very courteous and professional. Lindsay did a beautiful manicure and pedicure for my daughter - we loved having the option of teen service packages. Jennifer gave me a lovely, relaxing facial and pedicure. The products all felt great, and the facilities were comfortable and clean. We had a little trouble finding the location - but if you head into the better marked reception area for Bodystream, then you will quickly find your way, as they share a reception area.

The staff are always so kind and accommodating and I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner environment. My go to gal is Carisa (highly recommend!!!) but I've had sugaring done with a few other ladies there and they are all INCREDIBLE. It is not awkward in the slightest bit and they make you feel super comfortable during the whole process. The products they use are top of the line and they go above and beyond in providing the best experience. Trust me when I say once you go Sugar Bare Body Bar, you will NEVER go back. Waxing? Thankfully Sugar Bare (at the time Lotus Day Spa) accepted because I haven't looked back since! I started out with seeing Britt- she's amazing. So easy to talk to and never felt uncomfortable. I've recently started seeing Carisa as well (Britt's schedule books up very quickly!) and it was the smoothest transition! I had seen Carisa once for a pedicure, we had great conversation that it was an easy decision to see her for my sugaring appointments. The girls who work here are amazing- they really do make all appointments feel very personal and comfortable. They're always remembering moments you've shared and actually care to follow up in your next appointment. You leave feeling like you just hung out with a girlfriend and not had a hair removal appointment :)

Such an amazing experience, Brittany is incredible! I went in for a facial and she took the time to look at my skin and create a custom facial to combat my dry but also acne-prone skin. The facial was done in silence so I actually had time to relax - something that most spas don't seem to get. She even massaged my hands, arms and scalp while I had different treatments on my skin! The best facial I have ever received, relaxing but so effective. My skin has never looked better thanks to the Eminence products.

I visited Sugar Bare Body Bar for the first time today for a vajacial service. The waiting area was clean and welcoming despite all of the COVID protocols in place. Jenn explained every step she was doing along the way, provided information on what she was noticing and recommended products that would help. The overall experience was pleasant. I have rebooked for another service in a few weeks. The only two recommendations I would make is the choice of music in the room and linens. I would’ve preferred something a bit more calming than chatter on the radio. Also I would suggest maybe upgrading your towels you use on clients to ones a bit fresher and softer.

The staff here are professional, kind, and do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable. I go regularly so their membership option is great for me, I just show up get sugared and leave. They have an online booking system which is nice especially those with a variable schedule, however it is difficult to schedule an appointment for multiple services this way as you can only schedule one service at a time.

Well my first sugaring experience was a raging success. A first timer for hair removal in general so it was definitely new and some uncomfort for sure. I dove head first and got a full Brazilian, legs, and underarms done, which was a LOT for my first time but Lindsay was PHENOMENAL. While the masques are doing their thing, you’re treated to a face, head, shoulders, hand and arm massage!! It’s so relaxing, I almost always doze off. As for sugaring, wow! Very disappointed. They asked to move my appointment earlier, I told them I wasn’t sure I could make it but I would try. I went for sugar hair removal for my under arms and half legs. I have very sensitive skin to point where I only shaved for special occasions because I get so itchy and raw afterwards, it wasn’t worth it for me anymore. I have done traditional waxing before and it leaves you feeling raw and sore for a few days; this was a completely different experience! I’m now nearly 24 hours after my appointment and my skin feels so soft and smooth; no rawness, no itchiness, no redness, no rash! Natalie was super friendly and the process was so much faster than I expected. The application of the sugar is worse than the actual removal; I honestly expected a lot more pain than I experienced. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is I noticed is that I’m still finding short hair on my legs…I’m not sure if my hair was too long that it didn’t pull from the root and instead broke the hair or if it’s normal to have hair left behind? I also have fine and light hair, so it can be difficult to see it. I have already booked a subsequent appointment for January and will be trying a Brazilian as well. The staff is also super knowledgeable with their products; we were offered recommendations and samples for my friend and I based on our skin types and issues. I’m excited to approach my skin and hair with a more fresh and natural approach! Thank you for a wonderful first impression and experience! See you soon!

I had a bikini wax done and there is a little pain (hair IS being ripped out after all), but not nearly as much as with waxing plus there was no itchiness, swelling, redness that you get post-waxing. I just had my first ever surgaring experince this week with Brittany. I am so happy with the results. I had my underarms done and it is such an amazing feeling not having to do the "Oh shoot, did I shave today?" check before leaving the house! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. The space is extremely clean and organized. I actually ended up purchasing their Acne Advanced Collection for my sister who has suffered from ance since public school. So far she loves it! I had sugaring hair removal done by Pagan and I was very happy. The spa was very clean and the the staff was friendly. Pagan explained the difference between waxing and sugaring. I had done waxing at different salons in the past; however, with waxing the top layer of my skin was removed and I ended up with a scab. Other times I didn't get a scab, but ended up with a lot of pimples after waxing. I was afraid to wax again, until I found Lotus Organic Day spa does sugaring hair removal. I am very happy with the results. My skin had no irritation and the hair was removed completely. I will definitely go back to Lotus again and I highly recommend it.

I've had laser before but still ran across this amazing spot. The staff are super friendly and professional! And the facials!!! To die for <3 I've had facials where they put the toner and mask and so forth on then leave you. Here they stay in the room the whole time and massage you and it leaves your skin glowing, tight and rejuvenated. Such an amazing gem of a spot whether you're going for hair removal or to feel like a new person from one of their fabulous facials.

Brittany introduced me to the eminence line of skin care, specifically the Arctic Berry Peel that is good for all skin types.
