Went here last week to get a balayage and was pushed to instead get highlights and was shown photos that looked absolutely nothing like what I got.. I ended up with a multi toned ugly colour and a cut that was so boxy and blunt. I asked for caramel balayage, shorter hair with layers to add more volume and body. Got none of those. I called and went back so they could “fix” this hot mess I paid $250+ for and got a solid hair colour that came out way too dark and washes out in 20 washes so by February I’ll have that ugly multi tones hair again. I want my money back because I shouldn’t have to pay that much for something I didn’t even ask for and that came out so horribly. My cut is terrible and colour is terrible even after the “fix”. Will never go to this salon again. STAY AWAY! If the owner of this salon sees this, do the right thing and refund my money back because this is just brutal, I have been crying about my hair ever since and no one should feel like that after going to a salon and paying over $250.

Vince and Marienne are so wonderful and talented. Vince was able to take my bad dye job that I got somewhere else and completely fix it!!! He was very personable and fun. His skill is amazing and I will 100% be coming back here for all my hair needs now. The color he gave me is so well done and perfect. Then Marienne (hope I spelled her name right) came to give me a cut and styling and she was great -- her attention to detail was phenomenal and she turned my dead, damaged and lifeless hair into a masterpiece. 11/10 stars and definitely will be recommending to all my coworkers who will surely be asking where I got my amazing hair cut/color from. I've been coming here for almost 5 years now and I don't think I can ever get my hair done anywhere else again! Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, and while the price is on the higher end it is definitely worth it to know that you'll always leave the salon feeling uplifted and refreshed. (Also special shout-out to Jen, who always seems to know what I want before I say it and makes my hair look amazing no matter what I'm in the mod for!)

After having a negative experience with a single stylist at this salon, I was aprehensive to go back. Firstly, I can’t say enough positive things about how the owner handled the situation with the one stylist. He was extremely courteous, friendly and attentive when talking the issue over with me. It was absolutely customer service at its finest. About three years later I returned to Rinaldi because they were the only salon offering the extensions I wanted. I went in for the consultation and met with Kendall Webb, she was amazing! So knowledgeable and patient. When it came time to return for color correction and color matching she was spot on, she listened to exactly the color asked for and the extensions blend perfectly. She was so patient during the 5 hour installation process and answered every little question I could think of. All of the other staff members were so kind and absolutely do their best to make sure you are happy and comfortable during your visit. Definitely one of the best salons in Barrie.

Jennifer is not only a master cutter and colorist, but a true artist in the studio. For my initial appointment, she took the time to get to know me and my long lifeless hair. She quickly came up with suggestions and we agreed to take a few inches off, add a few well placed layers and color my hair a rich and shiny mocca brown. My hair feels so healthy, has volume and style that lasts for days. What I love most about Jennifer is that she’s an educator too. Today I had another massage by Laura and hands down it was the best one I’ve had yet ...and yes even with a mask on during Covid! Thanks for creating a space I can always come to and feel like my body has been taken care of!

Definitely a great salon to visit! Ask for Jen if you are having your hair cut ;) She is awesome! I experienced my first trip to Rinaldi today - all of the staff were super polite and kind. The salon was very clean with lovely décor. Marianne washed my hair, she did an excellent job. I like to talk, and she was willing to chit chat along with me very pleasantly. Her scalp massage at the end was awesome! Jen cut and styled my hair, she was amazing. I showed her a few photos of a couple of ideas I had, but wanted her professional opinion - mainly because my usual "go-to" for hair is to throw it up in a ponytail until it is dry - so something that would require a lot of styling and maintenance would not work out well for me. She gave her input of one style over the other and clearly explained why (due to a lot of styling needed for the other to make it look good), but of course offered to do the other as it is my hair and my choice. I went with her recommendation, a layered look. She continuously checked her layers while cutting to make sure everything was even, and would check in with me about length and what I would like the outcome to look like. She also offered a lot of styling tips - showed me how to use the round brush and dryer if I would like to start trying to use it - but also showed me some styling tips that did not need the round brush, as well as a way to put my hair up to dry that would style it. She was very friendly, kind, and I greatly appreciated learning her styling tips and tricks for my new hair cut. Definitely a salon I would to return to! :)

I have been a customer for over 20 years. The staff there are so wonderful. I look forward to my time at the salon. It's like visiting old friends. The pricing is a bit higher than an average salon, but this is not an average salon. I can go to my stylist (Maria) and tell her to do whatever she wants and she has not disappointed me yet! The staff go above and beyond to make your time there as relaxing as possible. A mini vacation away from reality. I would not hesitate recommending any of the stylists to you.

You’re greeted by such lovely people, very professional and really want to make sure you have everything you could need by offering you drinks and asking if you’re okay. I had my haircut by Vince who has been there for years and also in the hair industry for years! He was very social and outgoing making sure I felt comfortable and informed me on everything that he was doing and explained why he felt that would be the best for me and my hair. He also took the time to get to know me and make sure I was okay during the whole appointment! If you’re looking for a welcoming, high class and very reasonably priced place to get your hair done, definitely try Rinaldis!

I didn't think that my stylist made a huge difference for a mens haircut so I've never given much thought to where I had my hair cut. I went into Rinaldi's and saw Anthony on a recommendation from a friend. I wasn't sure what to do with my hair but he had a lot of ideas that were trendy with out being too far out there. I was impressed with the professionalism and friendly environment. The price was a bit higher than my regular hair cuts but i feel for the value i got more than I paid for. I feel good and will continue to go back. I also bought some product and a small tin has lasted me the past 2 months. If i had one word to describe Rinaldi's it would be quality.

She went above and beyond with including a trim even though it was past closing. Didn't rush the appointment at all. Rinaldi’s Salon and Spa is the perfect atmosphere to relax and rejuvenate in the Barrie area. As soon as you walk in the doors you are greeted and made welcome by the friendly, professional and experienced staff. I highly recommend this location for any bride looking for the perfect location to get ready before the ceremony. My four bridesmaids, mother and step-mother of the bride all got ready together at the Salon. The staff went above and beyond to make my day amazing. I had my makeup (Aveda products, which I love) and updo done the day of. My stylist, Piña, was fantastic and eased every nerve I had about the high winds that were supposed to happen that day. My hair was done with a side/half updo with flowing curls down my left shoulder. All of the curls held in my straight hair for 12 hours (and beyond but the reception was over). My entire wedding party had nothing short of a memorable amazing experience and we all felt beautiful. This location is also perfect to get amazing photographs of the wedding party getting ready. Beyond my wedding day I have utilized the Spa for manicures and pedicures and also the Darphin skin care line. Each and every time I have been to the spa I have always had the best care and the staff have exceeded my expectations. Everyone not only is experienced at what they do but they are very knowledgeable and care that I get the best treatments for my skin type.

Firstly, I want to start by saying at first as a client everything was going well. As I returned to Rinaldis for things over the years I can confidently say, they have lost their touch. Switching between 4 stylists during my colour ( a bleach root touch up, not a difficult task) they managed to fry my beautiful hair. I still returned to Rinaldis after for my clip in extensions to be coloured. A week AFTER my extentions were to be coloured, i heard no word on my extentions. I became worried and picked them up. MORAL OF THE STORY If you want to be treated well I'd suggest trying a different salon.

My friend from out of town and I went to Rinaldi's on a Saturday and although we mistakenly didn't have appointments, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us which I was very grateful for. Rinaldi's is a beautiful salon and spa with helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful staff! My sister had her make-up done here on the day of her wedding. this past Saturday. Completely unprofessional service. The woman attending her seemed new and lacked basic knowledge of the art. Job was so unacceptable that the bride had to go home and remove the make-up and redo it herself. On an already stressful day where everything has been planned to the minute and you are trusting that you have hired professionals to help you out... This was the biggest let down and waste if money. For the management: it is understood that you have to employ new staff and train them; but to put them on an important project like this knowing that they can't perform is completely disrespectful. The wedding industry is a big part of the cosmetic industry. STEP UP YOUR GAME!! Cannot recommend this location.

I had a great experience, the staff was friendly and the salon was clean. I got a shellac manicure and a normal pedicure, my shellac started chipping and peeling after 1 week and was taken off after less than 2 weeks because it was peeling. The pedicure is staying on very well so I am not sure what happened to the shellac but definitely did not last as long as I am used to.

I can not say enough good things about this salon. The staff was so professional, there was no internal gossiping happening (which is rare in a salon) and they all worked as a team throughout my visit. My stylist Kendall was very knowledgeable with regards to the colour I was wanting to achieve. And if I can add, she nailed it ???????????? I was in a crunch for time when it came to my blow out and style, fortunate for my the owner over heard and pulled a second girl on to help style my hair. Talk about going above and beyond!!! I will definitely be going back. Amazing service all around.

I had an Aveda facial with Ramona and she was amazing. A truly great experience. She is lovely and caring and very in tune with how her client is doing and what treatment is appropriate for the skin type. I will definitely ask for her on my next visit. I have also had my hair coloured and cut here and Vince did my cut and recommended colour. I haven't had my hair cut since because of back trouble. my only complaint is that the hair salon station chairs are very uncomfortable. It actually caused my back to go out because it was such a long appointment to correct my hair colour and cut BUT..... I loved the cut so much I have booked another appointment and this time will bring a pillow LOL. Truly professional service. See you all soon!
