I had a mediocre experience at the spa last weekend. Upon walking in, we were not greeted and proceeded to have the esthetician and massage therapist argue with one another over who was responsible for checking us in and giving us forms. My treatment was well done, however the male massage therapist was very loud and literally did not stop talking the entire time next door. Hard to relax in that situation. Prices are ok, but overall service was lacking.

A great overall experience at the Downtown Location. Prices were very reasonable especially compared to large Spas, and though they don't have all the bells and whistles of a big spa, they had great services and products and staff. It was quiet and relaxing and wonderful!

Customer service was great from my initial call and booking. Gene was my massage therapist and it was the most therapeutic massage I've ever had. I learned a lot from him about his style of therapy and what to look for in massage going forward. I'm amazed as I get at least 2 massages a month for almost a decade, yet this was my best ever!

Facial and Massage were both exceptional. As a traditional Canmore girl, taking care of my skin includes washing with water and applying sunscreen. ????????‍♀️VERDE did an exceptional job educating me as well as pampering me. Both the massage and the facial were exactly what I needed.

I booked massages for both me and my husband for our anniversary. We had travelled from Vancouver, BC and had to change our travel plans last minute. Verde Spa and staff we extremely accommodating in allowing us to change our appointment times and location. The massages were nothing short of amazing and we would absolutely recommend them to others.

Had a massage at the black stone lodge this weekend. Was not impressed with the service my girlfriend and I received. They messed up the appointment time then, after some adjustments they found another time that worked. When we showed up for the massage there was more confusion and they had only booked for one person! After I explained to them the phone calls etc they realized they had made a mistake. The massage itself was decent but I have expected better. Will go to a different spa the next time I am in town.

I tried to book a massage and it seemed terribly complicated, I had to verify my availability and before making the call I was asked to leave a CC deposit and was informed no cancelations. Rules are important but in a service industry such as this it would make sense to allow for a phone call. The front end staff where very dismissive and gave of an annoyed vibe

Was a phenomenal experience at Verde Spa. I Planned a spa getaway for my friends 50th birthday - the General Manager (Gene) and Erica helped in coordinating all the appointments. We all thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing experience and highly recommend booking a massage with Trevor too. Can't say enough good things about this place! Excited to go back :)

Had a massage today at the Blackstone location from Tevor, and OMG it was so fantastic. He focused on areas that have been painful and tense for AGES and they feel so much better. I would book regular appointments if it wasn't a 4 hour drive. Will definitely get another one when we're back in town.

Cannot express how bad the experience was with this company. No only did they charge us a full fee for appointments we didn't receive, their customers service was atrocious. Th receptionist was very disrespectful t my GF and the worst part is that the senior manager supported her behavior. Save you time and book with a company with decent ethics.

Exceptional experience. I highly recommend this spa. On vacation here from Hamilton, Ontario for a relaxing getaway. Had booked a spa day at another spa whom cancelled the day before. After searching an after several calls which no one called back I found Verde Day Spa. They accommodated both myself and son in law. I had a facial by Keturah whom went above my expectations. Gene did a massage for my son in law which again was exceptional. Reasonable priced, Excellent customer service and Exceptional spa service. Very clean and professional. Highly Recommend! Looks like I have to move here.

I would give 0 if possible. This was my go to place in town when I moved downtown 3.5 years ago. 3 years of amazing service.. Great massages and eybrow waxes.. Pleasant and friendly staff I loved making me time there. In the past 6 months it has gone completely down hill. Everytime i called they only had one masseuse working who was honestly terrible. So i started going elsewhere for massages but came back for esthetics. I made a big booking for a spa day for my girlfriend and myself only for it to be cancelled as the lady on the phone laughed and said staff quit here all the time its the bow valley. Customer service is garbage and it wont get my business or recomendations any longer

I had called to book 6 massages for our group, was told to email in with names etc to get them booked, received a reply from the General Manager that everything was booked and then the next day received a new email stating different info and trying to change the appointments. I won’t try to return here again.

The owner was late in opening and the technicians although they were friendly were rushed and unprepared as a result of this. The pictures online do not show the reality and after my pedicure I needed to use the washroom and they had no flip flops to use so I had to through the reception area and out into hall to use the washroom barefoot??? . They also did not have 2 manicure stations so I was set up at a TV tray in the corner. Basically they charged high end prices but the experience was definitely not.

I called the spa at Sunshine after a fall on the mountain that rendered me almost immobile with unbearable lower back pain. Gene, the new owner, actually came up the mountain from the valley to help me. He turned out to be incredibly skilled at "quantum massage". I've never had such an impactful massage. After assessing my condition holistically and working on several relevant areas, I was actually able to ski the next day. Thank you, Gene!

Paid for a 30 minute and got a 20 minute rubdown with no massage. Incredibly weak and dissapointing, nobody even asked how it went when I finished so I'll explain here. Do not recommend for anyone.

I went here to treat myself & my mom to a gel manicure. While the experience itself was nice (our estheticians were very friendly), the gel manicure didn't even last 3 days before it chipped. Within the week I had to have it completely removed because it looked so bad. When I contacted the spa hoping for some kind of resolution, they only offered me a $10 refund (the cost of the gel application), despite the fact that the manicure was $75+. I won't be back.

If I could give this place 1000 stars I would! Me and my friend took a mini vacation and treated ourselves to a double pedi with Amber, and it was great! Polish stayed on for our 5 days of hiking! Amber told me about Gene, the owner and his knowledge and experience in spinal chord injuries. I fractured my back and had scoliosis when I was younger, and I've had back pain that brings me to tears that has NEVER gone away since my accident. After a massage from Gene, he took ALL of my pain away thats I've had for years, I am forever grateful,. He has changed my life, and I will definitely be making yearly trips back. Thank you so much Gene I thought I was gonna be a cripple when I got old!

I have tried a few spas since moving to Canmore and I must say Verde is by far my favourite. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about all their products and services and very accommodating with regards to last minute bookings. Also, the prices are very reasonable for the Bow Valley. I can't comment on the Grande Rockies location because I've never been, but I really like the downtown location.
