fantastic experience! clean and friendly. I am not a regular nor am I a member here, but I was treated as if I was. I have been a couple times and its always great and relaxing. I actually fell asleep in the waiting lounge after my sauna, waiting for my next service. I will go back the next time I have the cash to treat myself. thank you ladies!

I was very disappointed here. First they called to reschedule our time ...then I had a pedicure and manicure and eyebrow waxing. The pedicure was 65$ that included no polish ..the manicure was horrible ..my nails where cut down . Uneven ..I asked for excess skin to be cut but she never did it ..I had to come home and file my nails myself after spending 155$...she did a good job on eyebrows except for the wax in my hair which I had to come home and wash my hair and clean my glasses which was full of wax ...never again ...was a complete waste of money ...even when I told girls at desk about the wax they just laughed ..never offered a discount ..nothing .

Booked a couple's massage for my boyfriend and I. We had Jan and Nicky - both were amazing! We agreed they were the best massages we had ever received (and we have been trying to find good ones - unfortunately we live in BC and cannot continue to go here!) Mine was mostly relaxation but I asked Nicky to work out any knots she found, she was incredible. My boyfriend said Jan had great pressure and really helped with the pain in his back that has built up from work. Staff were very friendly and the chocolate covered strawberries were delicious :) If we are ever in the area again, we will surely come back!

The wife and I treated ourselves to a couples massage for Valentines Day. It was an awesome experience. From the sauna , to the massage I received from Paige, to the relaxation lounge where were treated to chocolate covered strawberries. All in all very cozy and comfortable. I will be booking another session !!

Very luxurious but expensive as the massage wasn't as comfortable versus what I had to pay for but I would try it again with a different masseuse.

My boyfriend and I LOVE going for couples massages, great service, great massage :) I prefer to pay more for the experience I get there (i.e. better massage tables, luxury showers).

Had the diva for a day two of us and was good except we get lunch and had to eat it on a pedicure chair. Was not good. Shorten time we sit in the lounge and let’s us have a sit down meal for a half a hour. Glad I didn’t order the steak sandwich.

Professional and friendly young ladies as you enter this warm environment. Lspa is the whole package. Enjoy the many services they offer. The Eminescence skin care is all natural and so easy to use. I recently started to use a new oil product that is amazing with the dry air we have here.

I have been using the services at LSpa for years now and I will always recommend them. However, I do find it frustrating that they have increased their prices when their “atmosphere” is not what it used to be because of coif restrictions. To me going to a spa for these appointments is about atmosphere as well, otherwise I could just go to a salon to get waxed.

My favorite place in Grande Prairie to get pampered! I usually go here for pedicures because a mom almost never has life for herself. So it is always nice to sit back get pampered maybe have a drink or those awesome chocolate strawberries :P

Always an amazing relaxing time, and if you're not completely satisfied just let them know and they'll do anything to help you out. When you walk in, it's like you're in a completely different place then the outside world, all your worries are at the door and you're inside .. being pampered :)

Very poor experience. I booked a couples massage and let the lady at the front desk know that we needed a licensed massage therapist so that I could claim both massages through benefits. The lady told me that there wouldn't be any problem and she would arrange it for both myself and my husband. I also notified them that I required a prenatal massage therapist and they arranged accordingly. When we arrived my husband went in first to use the sauna (as I could not) and was put into the waiting room and told that someone would come get him to take him to the sauna once he had changed. He sat there for 45 minutes as no one had come to get him. When we were shown to the room they had not set up for a prenatal massage and the therapist didn't know that he had to set up for one. At the end when we went up to pay I asked them to print everything I needed to file a claim for both massages and they informed me that that wouldn't be possible for my husband's massage. We spent 125.00 that we thought we'd be able to get back but were told after the fact that we wouldn't. It seems as though the staff at the front desk do not communicate with other staff. Nothing from our booking was relayed to other workers. Completely disorganized unprofessional place. Wont go back again.

They are also the only spa in Grande Prairie that offers yearly memberships at discounted prices! 10 star experience!

Love the L Spa and Wellness Center!!! Such a beautiful spot to go and unwind. My daughter and I do spa days here and the staff if so friendly and personable. They are very knowledgeable with the products they retail (which I use and LOVE) I would HIGHLY recommend this spa to anyone!!!!

Beautiful to bad the service wasn't as good. Feel terrible for the practitioner that work there. Policy and problem solving definitely lacking, and heads up they keep your money no matter what. Even if they decline service. $500 all day treatments and all I received was a facial. And don't waste your time complaining to the hotel as they only rent space. Will never likely return. Too bad as service list is amazing and truely tranquil environment.

Wow, wow, wow!! My husband bought me the Diva for the Day package, and it was incredible! I love the atmosphere at this spa, and the staff were amazing. I’m looking forward to doing a couples massage here sometime in the near future.

Me and my wife have been going to the L Spa in Grande Prairie for several years. It's very convenient with the hotel in the same building. For years while living in Fort Saint John and coming to Grande Prairie for school I would book myself in for treatments. The L Spa is very well done and has a beautiful atmosphere. It's always clean and appeals to all your senses with the lighting, the smells, the music, etc. I have not had anything but positive things to say until now.... Today me and my wife were scheduled in for a massage, a facial and a body scrub. To celebrate my wife's birthday and as a little treat after some difficult years. When we arrived we gave our names to the receptionist in the Spa. She asked what we were scheduled for and told her the treatments and times. She said there was nothing in the computer and that we must have booked our selves in on June 8th because that's the day their computers crashed and they lost appointments. As there was no appointments booked we asked what our options were. They were not able to provide the treatments or the times but had other treatments at other times and none of which would be couple's any more. We asked to speak to a manager as previous customers who enjoyed our visits we wanted to see if there was a way to make things right. We hoped to make the best of the situation and perhaps come up with a solution for this trip. Keep in mind we just traveled 2.5 hours and paid for a night's hotel to celebrate the wife's birthday. The manager unfortunately has gone home for the day even though it is Wednesday and 11:30 am. Obviously this is incredibly frustrating and a real let down for us. We are now sitting in the room that we really don't require anymore looking to see how to salvage the trip. Unfortunately I expect this will be the last time we will be booking the L Spa or the hotel as I would be too nervous to potentially go through this again. I would be worried in the future and feel compelled to call regularly to reconfirm the appointment which is something I feel should not be necessary. We have went through our records and we booked on the 12th so our missed appointments were not booked on the 8th which was the day of the system crash. In summary if you get into the Spa you will likely have a great time. You may also show up and wait in line while other Spa goers check in for your appointment, before heading back home or retreating to your room to make alternate arrangements. I will be sad to not get to enjoy this trip or any future trips here but we will save our money and time for an establishment that believes in customer service and deserves your patronage. --Update-- Well, I am happy to report that since my initial review I was contacted by the L Spa. The manager called to get the details of what happened and it appears human error was involved somewhere in the booking process. Unfortunately there was no way to resolve our bookings with short notice, but we do feel that everything that could be done was done and my wife and I are happy with the way the LSpa dealt with the situation. The hotel has been extremely kind during this process as well.

I called to book a therapeutic massage, she said that the therapist only can provide insurance receipts for certain insurance companies... I get there to find out that they booked me for a relaxation massage, and nobody else is available until a week and a half later for a therapeutic. I decide to go ahead with the massage anyways. The therapist was really nice but the skills were lacking as I only got half of a full body massage, because time was up. The receptionist was not professional and didn't offer any sort of discount for the mix up. I wouldn't recommend this spa at all.
