Today was my second visit to The Cave. I came on my own for a private session because of Covid protocols. It was wonderful. The facility is extremely clean and well-maintained. The environment is so beautiful with every room having its own character and décor. My favourite experiences are the Finnish sauna followed by the cold bucket splash, the Kneipp waterway, and the sea salt steam room. I like to end my visit in the Tepidarium. I'll be back! ~ Simone

Incredible little getaway. It was so nice having the whole place to ourselves and for 2 hours. All saunas, steam rooms and shower are great along with the full body and shoulder massage chairs. So fun and unique. What a cool place! 100% will be back!

My time at The Cave was incredible! After a long day at work, and a hectic drive through traffic, I didn't think anything would calm me down. However, from the moment you enter the doorway, it is so peaceful and soothing. Everything is taken care of - from comfy slippers and spa wraps, to cozy robes, for two hours you have nothing to worry about. Each of the rooms are unique, both in features and in design, and are beautiful to relax in. I really enjoyed the Finnish Sauna, the Ice Bucket, and the Eucalyptus Room. Rotating through the hot and cold experiences felt amazing, particularly for my skin which gets so dry in the winter. Will definitely be back!

There is simply not worlds for how wonderful The Cave is. I brought a friend for her birthday as a surprise this Saturday. Not only was booking the appointment through Adriana great, she was so accommodating, this place takes your breath away. Seeing the photos and reading about it doesn't do it justice ... it is AMAZING! Since leaving Saturday, I've spoken about it to at least 10 people, and plan to go back within the next couple weeks. If you are thinking about going, you won't regret it, I promise!

OK. Do you see all these 5 star reviews? They did not lie. It was a fantastic experience which perfectly wrapped up my family's trip. The admission is also priced very reasonably. To be honest, this facility's overall quality far surpasses even some of the other spas that I visited in the past that cost $100+ per person. They divide appointments into 2 hour sections and always keep the number of people small (around 6-8) in order to maintain the atmosphere which was great. My family of 4 ended up having the entire facility to our own because there were no other guests booked at the same time. If you are a group of 7-10, you are guaranteed to have the place for yourselves. I think non-overcrowded facility is one of the biggest attractiveness of this place. All in all if you love sauna, aromatherapy, relaxation, and tranquility, try out this little hidden gem. Will not be disappointed.

Such a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I were so pleased with all of the varieties of steam rooms and saunas. The space so beautifully designed and you can tell the owner really cares to give you the best experience. Immaculately clean and well kept. I loved ending the session with a massage bed. Will be coming back!

This place is truly special! The owners are wonderful, the space is gorgeous and the cafe is delicious. Each aspect has clearly been very well thought out. Every sauna has its own decoration and feel. You leave feeling so relaxed and pampered. Even the people in our group who thought they didn't like saunas loved being at The Cave.

This was everything we needed for relaxation. It was my spouses b day and we were trying to come up with things we could do considering the pandemic has most things closed. In the morning I took her to the Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary before which was a bit chilly out so coming to the Cave after was fantastic. 5 types of Saunas and two different style massage chairs. Our favourite sauna room was definatlty the salt rock room, the air in there was really sensual and calm. 200.00 for two person private session was a great price too, highly recommend!

Next to Sparkling hill resort in Kelowna, which is a $600 a day spa rated 5 stars, The Cave Sauna Day Spa was literally a smaller more intimate version of one of the top rated spas in Canada. The sauna options are phenomenal!!!!, all of their emanates were first class, very well designed and built, and very upscale. Not to sound snobby but I expect 5 stars when I go to something like this and the cave blew my expectations away!! For $130 for 2 hours for both my spouse and I to have full access to everything is insane. If you are looking to relax and not sit and think about how much money you just spent THEN GO HERE! you will not be disappointed, I promise ???? Will be coming here once a month until I cant!! Also very professional and friendly staff! Love this place ❤

What a fun experience! So many rooms to enjoy. My only wish is that with it being my first time I had been given a tour or rundown of the place. I was with a large group though. Which seemed a lot to manage with us arriving all at once. Next time I would suggest getting there earlier than your group if your with one.

This was our second visit. Our favorite room is the eucalyptus room. Sadly it was not functioning. Although they fixed it as soon as I brought it to their attention, the steam was working but not the eucalyptus. Thanks for tending to it so quick, sad we missed the full effects.

This place is a MUST GO if you enjoy sauna’s and steams. The sauna/steam area is very well laid out. The area is very relaxing and de-stressing. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every sauna/steam in the area, with my favourite being the Himalayan Salt steam. And for anyone who wants a good shock to the system, definitely use the Bucket Splash! The Cave Spa is one of the cleanest spas I have ever been to. Everything is very well taken care of. We were very impressed with this. Adriana was so helpful throughout the entire process. You cannot go wrong for the price either. I highly recommend going and checking this place out, you won’t regret it!!

Awesome experience 100% recommend going to check it out. My wife and I went together and both enjoyed it very much. Well maintained and great service. I wish they had something like this in Edmonton. Wish I had pictures but unfortunately not allowed. If you love yourself and your wife/significant other you should go check it out. Appointments only and space is limited per time slot, which I enjoy as it makes the experience more intimate and personal. Thank you to the staff, as they were super helpful and informative. Ps. If you do forget something like I did, my swimming trunks. They provided something for you to wear.

There are many different options and I tried them all except the cold bucket dump and instead opted to cool off by rubbing ice cubes where I could stand it. I enjoyed everything about it, the surroundings with low but adequate lighting, the soft relaxing music and alternating between various saunas and steam rooms and cooling down in rain or massage shower... so beneficial and relaxing! My fave was the eucalyptus steam room. Staff is most pleasant and helpful. Will definitely go again and this time with a friend!

I stumbled upon this through searching for a couples spa. This is definitely cheaper than a couples spa but that's because you aren't paying someone to provide a service directly to you. If you love saunas and wanting to try a bunch of different ones in one spot, this is it! We tried every single room and each one has it's own specialty so I can't say I have one favourite. It's entirely upto the person and their preference. As it was our first time, the staff gave us a tour of the facility (change/shower room) and all their saunas and recommendation (time for each room, what not to do (for safety reasons)). There were other people but you do not feel crowded. As well as, it was all in good timing without bumping into another group that isn't in your own cohort.

Loved my experience at The Cave, Sauna Day Spa. The rooms and stations complement each other to give you a unique day spa experience. I'm not a sauna person but the variation and the uniqueness of this place make it an experience worth living. Couple it with an incredible massage and you'll be wanting to come every month! Love the owners, super clean, and only a 30 min. drive away from Calgary, in beautiful Cochrane.

This was a wonderful and relaxing way to spend time with my Mom. We had no idea what to expect and it was ahhhhhh-mazing. We were able to book a private session so it was a real treat to be alone. There are verious saunas and steam rooms as well as very nice relaxation rooms. It was very clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. This is definitely a gem of an oasis and if you were even thinking of checking it out, you absolutely must! I can't wait to go back.

I always love the experience here! 2 hours for 5 sauna rooms and 3 relaxation rooms, for a reasonable cost. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You need a bathing suit, and I try to bring my own towel and water bottle to be sustainable.

I just had my first visit to the spa. It will not be my last. I have been to day spas before but never experienced such a variety in one place and so it was an adventure. The facility is very well laid out, pleasing to the eye and soothing to the mind and body. I tried everything that was recommended for me and I liked them all. My session ended with a very refreshing freshly-made juice drink. I left refreshed and invigorated. I will definitely go back. It is worth the trip.

Did not get a chance to experience. Wish there was a 0 option. Wanted to buy a gift card for someone and was not allowed to buy a general gift card. I had to select what they would want! Disgusting and extremely poor customer service. Owner not available. If this is any insight as to their customer service, stay far far away. I rarely post reviews. If you don’t believe me try to buy a gift card where the recipient can choose what services they want!!!!

Amazing experience at The Cave! The staff was super friendly and the facility itself is very clean. Sessions are by appointment only. They limit the number of people during sessions, which I truly appreciated as I was worried about having to social distance, but this was not a problem at all. I really liked how well organized their website is and gives you lots of information about their rooms and their current prices. Towels are provided for for use in the saunas/steam rooms and they always check and restock as needed. Someone also always checks and mops the floor dry every now and then. The washroom has 2 showers, a toilet, lockers, and medium sized mirrors. Showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use - I must say they smell so good. I wanted to ask what brand they use for their body wash, but I forgot! I came out of the spa super calm and relaxed and it was a much needed spa treat for myself. I’d recommend this place to friends and family any time!

I ended up at The Cave with a group of friends. We rented the facility with our group. I had no idea what to expect other than saunas. I was pleasantly surprised. It was calm and inviting. Relaxing and soul-filling. There was enough space and choice that I could spend part of my time alone and part visiting and chatting as a group. I really loved going from hot to cold over and over again. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I really, really did. I loved the ambiance. The staff were attentive but also were not always there. They came and mopped up and answered questions. Then were gone again. While the change rooms were small they were immaculate and decorated beautifully. The whole spa was beautiful, calming, clean and welcoming. We will for sure be returning regularly.

This was our well deserved mommy's day out and our first visit to Cave Sauna Day Spa and we all left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We had booked a private group session a couple of months in advance and it was worth the wait! I also have to write about my embarrassing incident - I had accidentally broke a beautiful decorative piece and I wanted to pay for the damages, but the owner was so understanding and wouldn't accept my money. So I hope by posting my positive review, others can see how great the owner is and she deserves nothing but success for all her hard work! I can't wait for my next spa day! xx

Been to the Cave Sauna Day Spa twice; once with my husband and again with my daughters. The service provided by the owners is excellent.
