I had the custom facial and it was the best facial I've ever had. Thank you Deanna for the relaxing enjoyable experience. Manicure was also great. The spa is a great retreat. Proper hygiene and cleaning or one use tools as well

I booked a couple massage 3 weeks in advance and the spa messaged me on the massage day to tell me that the message would be in two seperate room. It was a gift for my girlfriend birthday with the trip to calgary planned around that and I had to cancel. Don't trust this establishment.

I booked a couples massage at the spa located at the Fairmont. There were some miscommunications and when I phoned to confirm my booking they said they gave it away. I was very upset as my husband and I were looking forward to a night away kid free! Ashley, spa director, contacted me back very promptly and handled the situation very well. Ashley and her team did a great job fixing what could have been a very upsetting experience! I would recommend this spa and the hotel! Great staff and the rooms are super nice!

Visited this lovely downtown Spa for a pedicure and was delighted by the attentive, skilled, professional and friendly staff - one of the better pedi’s i have ever experienced! It was such an added bonus to have full access to the pool and hot tub area during our booking of an aesthetic service, and to be integrated into the entire spa environment. I would not hesitate to recommend aesthetic services at RnR Wellness and will return!

This spa is my favourite! Such a relaxing atmosphere and all of their massage therapists are so fantastic and knowledgeable. It is such a treat to make it here when I do!

Inappropriate layout for a “spa.” It’s more like a massage parlour. Subscribed me to marketing emails AND TEXT MESSAGES without consent. Book elsewhere next time.

Have been visiting for years and enjoy it for a number of reasons - complimentary parking, use of the fitness facility, and hot tub/steam room. Service is always friendly and helpful. RMT Yuni is amazing - best deep tissue massage, not to mention she is so very kind, compassionate, and caring. Considering all going on right now, I am very appreciative that the spa is open, clean and safe, and eager to see clients. Thank you!

I booked a couple massages for 1 hr, but receptionist didn't tell that it's in Fairmont ;we went to the other one in Le Garmian. And receptionist there sent us at fairmont Palliser and of course it took us about 15 minutes to got there . Ya Place was nice ,but we only got 40 minutes massages instead 1hr and we paid full amount; definitely not satisfied. They should make it clear about location if they have two locations side by side. Very disappointed!

My whole experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in til the moment I left. I was greeted and escorted to a serene sitting space that had the most interesting water that had crystals in it called Vitajuwel. I had a 90-min massage with their lead female massage therapist. I love a deep massage and she really delivered - She had magic hands! I also had a 30-min salt scrub treatment done afterwards and felt like a million $$$. After my treatment I wasn't rushed out but instead escorted a to post treatment room that had the most fabulous lounging chairs. I was able to enjoy a chai tea while I relaxed post treatment. The whole facility was excellent including the locker rooms. PLUS they have valet parking for their spa guests! Even better.

Massage was good, but they did not disclose that my massage therapist was not certified under Sunlife, even when I asked ahead of time. I later found that my massage therapist was 'waiting' approval. As a result, I had to wait +3 months before I could claim this under my benefits and it was only because I was chasing it every two weeks between Sante Spa and Sunlife.

I had a Facial with Daniella on August 17th at The Fairmont Palliser spa. I am an Esthetician of 14 years and I have never had such a relaxing, detailed, and attentive service. She completely pampered me and when I thought it was over she kept going! Amazing massage on my face, neck, shoulders, hands and scalp. My skin felt wonderful- I felt wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of me and treating me so well! As Estheticians we're always disappointed (lol) with services and I am happy to say this was the one time I wasn't! The only disappointment is that I live in Winnipeg and have to drive to Calgary to get pampered! Thank you again, Daniella!

Don't waste your money here. You're better off going somewhere else. Sante is not professional and it is totally managements fault. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the massage therapist was good, but for the price this hotel charges, this spa is mediocre in comparison to spas that charge similar. When you go to the hotel there is complimentary valet parking, but it was super disorganized and hectic. The spa doesn't have anywhere to allow you to change into a robe (or shower and get ready afterwards), instead you sit in the lounge in your personal clothes until the therapist comes to get you. They then take you to your room, you remove your clothes and get under the covers on the table. The place where you put your face on the massage table was so large, it was putting pressure on my throat and top of my forehead which REALLY ruined my relaxation. At the end, you put your street clothes back on, have no where to relax afterwards, and just leave. On top of that, there is no check out desk, so the massage therapist has to awkwardly give you the bill and wait there while you pay with the portable machine. Poor people, when you're registered you shouldn't have to do that yourself. I'd rather go to Stillwater in the Hyatt across the street for the price I paid at Sante.

I went for a massage yesterday as I needed a good relaxing end to my day and had Eri as my therapist. She was professional and I walked away relaxed and ready to book again with her. I highly recommend going to see her.

Rui Wang

Beautiful spa. I love having massages here. The pool is an amazing perk and adds to the relaxation of the whole experience! My favorite therapists are Ambar and Eri who I would highly recommend!

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at RnR Wellness Spa at Hotel Le Germain! We were able to have the Couples room and enjoyed relaxing massages and wonderful facials. Such a restful and calming experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Good massage. Great customer service. Comes with 3 hours or complimentary parking at the Paliser hotel. Only complaint is that the resting room is very small.

The couple massage was a great experience! The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing ! We were there September 2016.

My boyfriend and I booked in for a 30 minute couples massage. We arrived early to relax and use the pool, hot tub and steam room facilities. We were also very happy with the fact the we could order drinks from the hotels In-Room Dining. We took the time to enjoy the facilities and also really liked the quiet room before the the massage. There was a nice assortment of teas and light snacks. Benefits covered 80 - 90% of our massages so all in all for $77 per person, (with tip) and $62 being refunded we spent around $25 each (including the drink) for a luxurious afternoon. I think that's a fantastic deal!

I had the most amazing massage EVER by the incredibly talented Essa yesterday. This was the nicest massage I have ever had and I didn't want it to end. Essa made the whole experience absolutely perfect and I look forward to future treatments. Best therapist to ever touch me! Thank you!

Went for an hour massage tonight at the Le Germain spa downtown and had the BEST massage I’ve ever had. The RMT Olivier, was amazing. He listened to me, and used the right amount of pressure. 10/10 recommend.

I had such a great experience here this past weekend. Was only in for a massage but the whole experience was fantastic. I accidentally arrived about an hour early for my treatment thinking it was earlier than it was and the lady behind the desk couldn't have been more helpful! She tried to move my appointment for me and finally when she realized se wasn't able to apologised (even though it wasn't her fault, I was the dummy who thought it was earlier) and showed me around the facilities. Everything was clean and smelled so wonderful and relaxing! My massage was amazing and so so relaxing I will definitely be back! When I finished and went to pay a different lady was behind the desk and she was so friendly as well and seemed genuinely happy that I enjoyed my massage and it felt like a very nice way to leave. The staff were all so accommodating and kind and friendly I will definitely be recommending the spa to friends and family!

I’ve been here a few times and loved it. But this time my experience was subpar for the amount that you pay. The couples massage was good but very rushed, usually when you get there they set you up right away with a locker and robes and offer you water, tea, coffee and snacks etc in a relaxing room while you wait. But not this time. There was non of that. Not to mention the women’s bathroom was dirty and smelled, as well as the steam room. I’m very disappointed, this spa is well overpriced.

Sarah Leslie

Was very clean and serene ! Massage was awesome ! Steam room wonderful ! Sadly Jets in the hot tub were not very strong !

Tammy Perin

Had a lovely massage at the Palliser Spa. Beautiful facility and excellent staff. Felt so relaxed following this experience.

Preeti Mann

Absolutely spectacular! From start to finish, RnR took care of all of our stress and helped us thoroughly relax. Access to the pool and steam room before and after was a fantastic touch, along with the snacks and tea. This is definitely a must-visit for us now. We will be back.

Oh the Spa!!! The other day was my first Spa day since 2019! Yep, the Pandemic kept me away…far too long!! It was well over due, and it was everything that I remembered and had been craving. The comfy robes, the perfect fitting spa sandals, the calming aromatherapy scents, and the relaxing mood. All of this peace was achieved before I even got the massage that I was scheduled for. 90 minutes of Bliss. The Rocky Mountain Classic. Oh wow. So over due! I actually nodded off a few times, which I’ve never ever done during a massage! It was heaven. Afterwards, I met up with my Spa buddy in the lounge, and basically melted into the chair while sipping tea and snacking on nuts. We sat for at least 30 minutes before we made our way to the pool, hot tub, and steam room. I almost choked up and cried when I entered the steam room as the smell of eucalyptus brought me back to fond memories of the Spa at the Chateau Lake Louise. My Spa Buddy and I spent the afternoon floating and doing the rounds. Hot, cold, steam, repeat! Peace. Good health. Optimism! Not only will I be going back soon, I am making plans for celebration events to take place there! Everyone deserves to go to the Spa…and this one is the best!

My stepdaughter and I had a beautiful experience for a special occasion at your facility. The massage was wonderful and the facility was clean with a superb staff. I would recommend RnR to everyone. Thank you.

Needs owners that actually know what they are doing and how to run a spa . This place is dirty and dusty ....look around rooms people you can smell it in the air! Other thing is you can see where they touched up the wall and didnt clean the dust from the wall!!!!! Literally such dirty place

I've received 60 minutes Eminence organic facial from Laura and 90 minutes Rocky Mountain massage from Chris. She was very knowledgeable of the products and really enjoyed the treatment with all natural Eminence products. Rocky Mountain Massage was relaxing, also therapeutic as I asked for a firm massage! Pool and lounge was peaceful and relaxing too. Kathryne and Hanna at the desk was very hospitable.Thank you!!

Shannon Hunter

I have a damaged toenail which is a constant source of ingrown toenail pain. The only esthetician in the world I have received relief from is Jasmin at Sante. She does a procedure called banding which lifts the corners of the nail virtually invisibly and the pain stops! She is an expert professional I believe, with years of experience. I am aware this spa is more expensive than the average but it is also safer than the average because they autoclave their instruments before every use. That would certainly add to the cost factor. Because I don't want to expose myself to hepatitis or HIV I am willing to pay more for the extra safety.

Hello Spa Day! RnR is has tremendous amenities. Workout, Steam, Pool and then a spa session. Best value in Calgary! Staff are professional and truly want to ensure you are rejuvenated. Thank You!

Consistently a relaxing and enjoyable retreat. My wife tells me the Palliser location for the RnR is second to none in Calgary. Happy staff, efficient management and overall quality surroundings. Weekends are busy, book ahead of time!

Enjoyed couple massages with my husband for our Anniversary. The staff was great and the therapists made the room very comfortable and relaxing. Also had the chance to spend time in the pool and hot tub. The spa was very clean and precautions were made to the highest standards. Thank you for a much needed spa day ????.

My wife and I often visit RNR (Fairmount Palliser) for couple massages. It becomes our go-to place for spa experiences. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we are offered free valet parking which is very handy when staying in Calgary downtown core. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful to provide us instructions and new service offerings. We then head for the swimming pool, hot tub, and steaming room. After being fully relaxed, we are ready for the main course of the massage. The therapists were professional and skillful, and we felt fully rejuvenated after the treatment. Can't wait for our next visits.

I had a wonderful massage with Shawn Marie whom I highly recommend! My shoulders, neck, scalp, and back were all hurting as my job involves me sitting at a computer at an office for several hours during the week, but after a session with Shawn I feel fantastic! Also, the pool, hot tub and sauna are all complimentary when booking a massage. I made use of all the facilities and recommend the overall experience to everyone. Thanks again Shawn Marie!

My husband and decided to try this spa as we had high expectations as it part of the fairmont chain. The staffs were friendly and the facility was secure. I appreciated being able to use the facilty before and after our couples massage for some rest and relaxation. The pool and hot tub area is kept quiet so we had a chance to relax in peace. We liked the flavoured water. The bathrooms were mostly clean, but the facility is older and felt more like a gym change room especially for the price we pay to be there. There was hair and food in the water fountain and grass or food on the floor. The tiles are like being at an old swimming pool. The floors could use a cleaning. The lounging area is small and right by the hallway which makes it hard to have a quiet time. The room with the snacks is nice but too dark to read my book. I couldn't find the hot water for the tea, the tea collection would've been nice to try. Our massages were ok. Our therapist did not do much interaction with us.. I felt like my massage was routine and mechanical. My husbands massage was somewhat relaxing. For the cost, I didn't feel like it was a restful and as relaxing as it could be. Also the robes were cozy and clean. I know I can find better for the price.

I really wanted shared the most incredible customer service experience which I have shared with the RnR team DAVINA, Katherine, and the team at Palliser past 6 month with the absolute ABOVE & BEYOND customer service level at its highest and all four should be recognized for their phenomenal customer experience!!! I most sincerely appreciate all of you for amazing exceptional customer experience every visit~☆☆☆☆☆ You guys are absolutely fantastic!!! Your awesome teamwork ROCKS!!! Most sincerely, Dr. Park and the family

This spa is small, quaint, with great service. My husband and I had massages, which were great. We stayed in the hotel, used the pool, steam, hot tub, then topped it off with a massage. Small spa, but everything you need! (nice robes too)!

Leslie Brooks

I was very disappointed with this Spa! Would not recommend it to anyone! The professionalism was awful, communication was not respected between service provider and client, etc! I booked a massage for me and my partner. I had emailed ahead of the appointment that my partner would prefer a female massage therapist (do to comfort level) and I was willing for either male/female. I received email confirmation that they would make a note of this on my reservation and could accommodate this! When we got to the appointment, the appointment was incorrect. They asked us if we wanted to reschedule and I rejected booking at this time. This was our date night out away from our five children and I could not guarantee when we would have an opportunity to do this again! They offered other services at the spa at a reduced rate, but they were not services we wanted. They did not offer a discount on a future booking, when and if we should decide to come back......NOTHING!!!! Just sorry.... goodbye! Very disappointing!!!!

The "spa" change rooms are small and shared by all guests of the hotel which makes it very crowded. The pool area is also shared by other guests so while you are trying to relax, there are people drinking in the hot tub, yelling and jumping and splashing in the pool. The waiting area to have your massage or other service done is small, lacks the basic amenities that most spas have and is also in the main area where there are loud guests which once again makes it hard to relax. If you are having a massage done, please be prepared to feel like they quickly modified a small closet to accommodate the massage where the beds are squished into rooms and there are cords all on the floors (which I tripped on leaving my massage.) The massage itself was alright however when I specifically stated that we (was a couples massage) would prefer female RMTS, that was also not accommodated. Needless to say we will not be coming back here and will be returning to our favourite place, The Still Water Spa at the Hyatt.

First of all 99 bucks for a pedicure is just not acceptable they should tell you over the phone the prices. Our pedicure was just ok nothing spectacular for that amount. Nothing added to make it a great experience. I will not be back.

Lovely spa. Great massage performed by Rima. She was the strongest RMT I have seen and did exactly what I needed! Tea selection, water and snacks were a lovely touch. The price is totally outrageous when booked by itself, but I recommend booking it along with a stay in the hotel, making it much more affordable.

Deniece Van Putten

Tried to double charge me both on my MasterCard and then again through the hotel. Total experience was a nightmare. Direct billing didn't work. Would recommend skipping this if you are staying at the hotel.

Tory Day was amazing. What a wonderful experience, I took the caveman package: came with 60 min rnr massage, 30 min facial and 45 athletic pedicure. I feel like I walked out of heaven! Thank you!

Dasha Quilty

Came to RNR spa for a massage, facial, pedicure, and manicure. I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time and the staff were very attentive to my comfort levels and made each experience so enjoyable! I came a few hours early to enjoy the pool and found the hotel guests to be very respectful of the spa atmosphere. The change rooms had every amenity I could have needed which made for a pampered feel and the front desk girls were always ready to answer any questions I had. I also appreciated how simple and easy it was to have my parking validated. Overall wonderful experience, beautiful atmosphere, warm staff, and an experience I’m excited to have again!

RnR spa at Pallister has definitely been a total disappointment for all of us. I started our booking process over 2 weeks prior to our spa day, we wanted to have a spa day for 4 of us. As we were celebrating my girls milestone birthdays. After about 6 phone calls and 8 emails I had to call the manager Sabina the day before our spa day to get her to confirm our bookings. I thought all was good, we had a great reception upon arrival, Gladis was very helpful and sweet. But there was still many errors and misunderstanding about services, they had booked us for wrong services. And I just don't know what else to say..... I have an advice for anyone who wants a spa day this place is only good for one maximum two people, don't book for group. The spa is tight, there is not enough chairs , there is not enough room in the locker room. This is a great place to get Covid. Don't book multiple services, they can't handle it. There is no coffee, you have to walk in your robe to the public Starbucks to get your coffee, you can't order food or snack from the hotel. I am not sure why. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning and went home famished at 5:00 PM. Starbucks had run out of anything decent to eat as well. When one visits a spa it would be expected to find body and hand lotion to use, none exists at RnR Spa. This will not be a place I will come back to again. It is unfortunate as this is a Fairmont hotel and I thought it would be a great experience for my girls to celebrate their birthdays. I spent ~$1400,00 At this spa, it was definitely not a good value.

Gorgeous sanctuary, very high end. Truly unique services

I had a massage and manicure at the RnR Welness Spa today. My RMT used the perfect amount of pressure and communication. I felt absolutly blissful going into my Eminence mani where I left having had a wonderful conversation and perfectly glittered nails. All the staff I encountered were positive and welcoming and offered a safe cleanly environment to relax in. I would definitely reccomend this spa to anyone!!

Shelby Squirrell

Received a average massage with cupping. The woman performing the massage was polite. As far as the ambiance it was bellow average. Washrooms were dirty and showers were borderline not usable (dirty, plastic curtains to separate people even though you could still see). Lots of kids in the pool after our treatment. We ordered sparkling wine before hand and we didn’t get it till after our massage and it was flat. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a overall spa experience.

Went there for an express spa package my friends gave me for my birthday. My massage was amazing from Malory. Usually they are painful for me but she used the appropriate pressure and it was fantastic. Got a facial, foot massage and manicure from Naomi. Naomi was awesome. She made the experience for me so comfortable. My face feels amazing. First time ever getting a facial and it turned out great. I have to come back for the eminents facial. I'm obsessed. I loved my rose gold nail colour that she helped me choose out too. Seriously wanted to stay there forever. I will definitely be back for an hour.

My wife and I booked couples facials here for Mother's Day as we were staying in the Fairmont hotel over the weekend. The arm and shoulder massage portion of the facial was nice, but the facial routine itself seemed to only consist of lotion > hot towel > lotion > hot towel > lotion > hot towel. Where's the exfoliation!? Though the real kicker was that our 60 minute 1:45 appointment didn't start until 2:05, and by the time it was finished we were out of the room at 2:45. Somehow our 60 min facial got cut to only 40 minutes. When the ladies said "ok we're all done", I responded quickly with, "wow has it been an hour already, what time is it?" Lol, there was no response back, the ladies just got up and walked out of the room. I mentioned it to the person at the desk while we were paying, and they offered us 10% off (should have been 33%), but at that point when you've booked a short time away from your kids to relax, its not really about saving $20, you just want to get the full 60 minutes you booked, and a full facial routine as well. Not sure at this point if we'll be back.

RnR Wellness Spa is a fantastic spa that offers a relaxing environment, outstanding services, and great amenities. Hot Stone massages are my favourite. I also love the fact that it is always sparkling clean. Hands down, it is the best spa in Calgary.

Anka

Got a couples massage from here between christmas and new years. You would expect the place to be crowded considering the spa is located in the hotel, but it was quite, not crowded, and the sevice was very prompt. The massage was great i definitely recommend it here. Someone wrote that the place not being clean, i just want to say it was same as any other hotel locker room with a pool and a hot tub because the spa was with the pool. Overall great service.

My daughter and I had a relaxation massage this morning at Sante Spa. Beautiful environment and and a friendly welcome from the staff. Jordan and Amanda are wonderful massage therapists and I would recommend them to anyone. Both are extremely skilled and considerate professionals. We will be returning soon!

Truly one of the best massages I've ever had.

If you think you're going to have a relaxing time at this spa think again. If you have your treatment in the rooms located by the couch say no. There will be people laughing and talking throughout your entire treatment. If youre going to pay over 100 bucks for a facial go somewhere else. My sister also had a pathetic one handed massage. Think again before being packed in like sardines in the change room and waiting area. Go anywhere else...

Karen Hanson-Parsons

Amazing service. It is a little expensive but the experience makes it all worth it. The staff is very friendly and the place is super clean! Highly recomend it!!!!!

This spa isn't bad - but for its price point I think there is better. Although I have never had a bad treatment or massage here, the ambience is definitely lacking. The waiting area is quite public to the hotels guests, and the sauna and pool are public as well. So, if you were planning to sit in the hot tub for a few quiet moments before your treatment, your quiet is likely to be interrupted by screaming kids in the pool.

Yvonne Lawrence

Beautiful well thought out services.

Carrie

What an experience! Watch your troubles and aches melt away as soon as you enter this beautiful hotel and slip into a Palliser robe. I felt like I was royalty and was pampered to the max. Such amazing amenities from the lounge room, pool, steam room, beauty, health services and more! Once you're done with your treatment, Hawthorn Dining Room upstairs is a must-go - top notch food from Calgary's top chefs. What a gem!

Lisa Belter

Terrible experience. The actual massage itself (60 minute) was fine, however, the 'spa experience' was extremely disappointing. The spa 'serenity' area is small, outdated, loud, cramped, and 100% accessible to all other hotel guests, who clearly didn't understand that this was a spa area (hint: use your spa voice). The wall between the Spa Guest Waiting room is clear glass, with the pool/hot tub on the other side. We were looking for a 'Stillwater Spa' experience and instead we were sitting there listening to (and watching) screaming children playing in the pool on the opposite side of this non-soundproof glass wall. Furthermore, at one point, a woman came into the 'Spa Guest' snack area (and by 'snacks', there was a plate of stale chocolates/cookies and a bowl of nut trail mix) with her oversized 4X4 stroller, toddler in tow, and proceeded to jam about 5-6 cookies/chocolates into a napkin and then turn around and leave (her 4X4 barely made it through the door, btw). Wait for it....she came back again for MORE about 15 minutes later (again with stroller and toddler in tow). The change rooms are outdated, small, and and shared with the hotel guests. This Spa is in serious need of an upgrade. We will not be back, and will be going back to Stillwater. We thought we would try something new, and clearly, this place is the polar opposite of 'new'. Disappointing to say the least, for a Fairmont property. UPDATE: Wanted to edit this post to mention that Management at the spa have since reached out and acknowledged our experience. Thank you, Darren, I do appreciate your time.

I had a Lymphatic Drainage at Sante Spa with Branda. It was fabulous! I loved how I felt, and she was so informed about the process and the benefits. I lost 3lbs the next day in water - bonus! Slim-Up Drain is the latest in “pressure therapy” lymphatic drainage technology, from Italy. It was a great experience, I will be back to work with Branda again with other therapies. Thank you.

My sister and I had a lovely pedicure and my husband and I had the very thorough and relaxing massage at RnR. Loved our experience in such a clean and beautiful setting.

This is a beautiful spa retreat! They have an amazing team of staff and great customer service! The prices went up quite a bit in the last couple of years which is unfortunate. The express add ons used to be reasonably priced which meant you could do two treatments in one day, unfortunately the prices of the add on services went up a lot. But you can still find some great deals and packages! They closed one of the relaxation rooms and turned it into a treatment room which is too bad because now sometimes you have to wait in the hallway when the one room is full. Overall a great spa though! Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Make sure to book the hot tub when you book a treatment.

Alisha Jones

Fantastic job! It was a spectacular massage, my RMT (Kelly) felt like she had about 8 hands. I'm definitely planning on going back!

My experience today was amazing! The front desk women (Hanna and I did not see the other girl’s name tag, sorry) were both very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and check out. The spa itself was beautiful, prestigious, and comfortable. I received a manicure and pedicure from Kyle and he was the absolute best! He was so personable, friendly, professional, and passionate about what he does. Thank you so much, I will be back for sure:)!

Massage with David was fantastic!! Staff seemed kind and helpful. However, unfortunately the amenities were extremely subpar - pool was noisy, lounge was tiny and underwhelming, changing rooms were cramped, didn’t seem to be much thought or care into the details.

Had a group spa package given to me and my 3 co-workers from our boss who came down to RnR wellness and set it up and paid for everything in advance. Got to the spa and everything looked great got ready went to the waiting room and they called us for our first treatment which was the massage. they took me and one of my co-workers to the same room!! we were in shock and didn't know why but with great embarrassment and awkwardness, we got undressed looking in opposite directions and ended up not being able to relax and enjoy our massages because it was terribly awkward!! then they screwed up and forgot to give my co-worker her facial and the manager had to end up doing it. My facial was quite painful and there wasn't even any extractions being done. (same lady who did my pedicure) she scrubbed repeatedly across my face with such force. I left there with bright red cheeks and it still was red 2 days later. The pedicure was terribly painful as well. The lady sanded down even the sensitive soft parts of my foot which made no sense as there were no calluses there at all. Then there was the manicure. The lady was very nice and gentle but it was very basic, nothing special but my polish was chipping off of the nails already the next day. I didn't even do anything to cause it to chip. it was chipping on the tops by my cuticles and not on the ends so it was definitely a very bad manicure. Very poorly done and not worth the price paid!! I am writing this review to warn anyone deciding to go here for any spa treatment. It is very low end for the price you pay!! I have another review for the hotel. The entire experience was terrible and not a reflection of the high prices they charge. food is terrible as well!!! Don't eat at this hotel!!!

Beautiful facility, caring staff, great massage by Josip at an awesome price. Can't wait until all services are available post Covid.

Great massage spa. Couples massage by Clayton Neddo and Myphuong Santos were one of the best we ever had. RnR shares facilities with Fairmont Palliser Hotel, so you can use swimming pool, hot tub and steam room. Make sure you arrive one or two hours prior your massage appointment, so you can enjoy heat and water. Parking is free for 3 hours, just pass the key to the valet at the hotel entrance, get the ticket and don't forget to stamp it at the reception when you leave the spa.

So amazing....and what a fantastic staff! I will definitely be back.

The RMTs that I have had have been great. They have a location in the hotel st germain which is great when working downtown, but the RMT keeps changing.

Always available for same day, because it's the most expensive

Warm, relaxing environment with professional and knowledgeable staff.

Amazing pool, hot tub and sauna before the massage.

Hey Team RNR – I just wanted to express my appreciation for your spa and your amazing staff. This pandemic has been difficult and John, Leanne and I came in last night to destress and that we did. Thank you so much for your teams’ professionalism in reminding me gently to wear my mask, and for Irrie (Errie?)’s exceptionally strong hands, creating a beautiful environment and for having such a positive “mind set” that seemingly provided an extra layer of healing energy I wasn’t expecting. Keep up the great work. Stay Safe. Stay Awesome. Geoff W.

Such a beautiful, welcoming and relaxing environment. Peaceful from the moment you enter the space to the moment you leave. Parking is very convenient for a downtown location, you are welcomed by lovely staff, the waiting room is relaxing and with lots of goodies for you to enjoy while waiting, the treatment was exceptional and the post treatment room was very luxurious and a great way to transition back to "regular speed". Felt like a little mini vacation on top of a great treatment.

We got there 5 minutes before our appointment just like what they said on their email confirmation, but we actually intended to get there way earlier than that so we can chill and relax on their lounge before our actual massage time, but because of their poor signage and direction we were not early than what we were hoping for. Anyways, when we got there, the receptionist was not even there and we waited for her for like 3 or 5 mins, (she was holding a Starbucks coffee) ofcourse we assumed she stepped out to get her coffee. So I checked in, she told us right away if we can just go right away to our massage room and just changed there. I was expecting that she would bring us to our locker rooms, show us where to go and how to use their lockers and have our robes and slippers on, just like other "fancy" spa massage places. I had to ask for the locker room so I can put away my personal stuff, and for the robes and slippers too. We want the whole experience, not just the massage itself; especially if we're paying for a "fancy" massage place. Btw, I was locked in somewhere I was not supposed to be, because the receptionist didn't show me exactly where the change room was and I had to call for my husband to get me. I was just glad that I had my phone with me and there was signal. And the locker that she provided me was jammed that I had to go back to the front to get a different one. So, basically if she just gave us a proper customer service (showing us around), we wouldn't have wasted time. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hot stone massage we got. Thanks!

I was so looking forward to this massage!! The atmosphere was quite nice, the staff were very friendly and the scented oil they use is lovely. As for the massage, I am perplexed as I do see good reviews...even for the masseuse I had today. That said, unfortunately, I've never been more disappointed in a massage. I booked a 75 min hot stone massage and the massage was only 60 to 63 mins (checked my clock after I got dressed), though I did ask her to stop with the scalp massage because I didn't like her technique - maybe she could have worked on my shoulders for the remaining time to make up the difference? There didn't seem to be any flow or glide in the massage (if that makes sense) I paid $189 for a massage that was like most husbands give but with hot rocks:(

We are here again and again.... and I will comeback again and again... I love it & my family loves it as well ... it’s my favorite spa in town!

The RnR Wellness Spa at the Le Germain was absolutely stunning. The staff were warm and courteous, the change rooms and waiting area were well appointed an comfortable, and the therapists were phenomenal. Spa treatments in Calgary can be unnecessarily expensive but the extensive menu at the RnR was worth every cent. The experience, the staff, the location and the service were truly stellar. Cannot wait to return!

My husband and I booked a couples massage just before Christmas this year. What a terrible experience. We have been to the Spa a few times before. The time before this Christmas the couple massage we had was good, however, after our massages we were told that we could not use the facilities (pool, hot tub or steam room) because at that time of the evening it was only for hotel guests. We were not impressed. This time while we were having our massages I noticed that my husband had fallen asleep quietly during his massage. Then all the sounds from his side of the room stopped. I couldn't hear the massage therapist move or breathe or anything. I eventually looked up and saw her reading her cell phone with one had and with the other she was making small circles on my husbands legs that I am sure he couldn't have felt. This went on for some time too. I didn't want to make a scene in the room so I never said anything. After talking to the front desk staff about my experience and concerns then mentioned that the staff uses their phones to check the time. It was pretty obvious to me that she was not checking her phone for the time. The desk staff said they would talk to her and "look" into it. Not only did I not receive a call back from a manager, I never received an email or any contact what so ever. We will NOT be going back.

Terrible spa. Shared pool/changeroom with the pool guests. I'll tell you what's not relaxing, kids cannonballing in the pool, babies in my spa changeroom...I didnt pay an outrageous amount to not have complete peace and quiet. Also, facilities are old and outdated, shower was awful, complementary shampoo and stuff was terrible. Save yourself the disappointment and goto riverside and get a relaxing, luxurious experience. To top it off my treatment and my friends were less than mediocre (head and sole massage). What an embarrassment to the hotel...

My facial was amazing! The loss of stars is due to the facility , very small change rooms, no hairspray or common goods to get ready with afterward...blow dryer is the worst in the world. Apparently you are supposed to ask the lady at front desk for the good hair dryer that they keep hidden away. Expecting something totally different from the Fairmont palliser. Tory's facial was excellent, wishing the facility matched the service and the expectation I had for a Fairmont.

Always a great massage and nice people. Lovely facility. The only thing I would change is getting some different scented massage oil as I am not a huge fan of mint.

Went to RnR wellness in the Palliser for a 2hr massage plus 15 min fire and ice add on The staff and service and massage were all top notch. The atmosphere and dated tiny change rooms really knock the shine off the experience. I did really enjoy my massage from Anto but was disappointed but the common areas. For the cost of treatments I expected an experience similar to other top notch spas in Calgary. I am very glad I did not book a full day experience as I would have been very disappointed.

Booked the Rocky mountain classic (90min) with Essa and it was easily one of the best massages I've had. He was so strong yet so gentle; I felt so comfortable and relaxed, and I left with nary a knot. I needed this! Thank you, Essa!!
