Here you have all the information of people who consume the services of Oasis Wellness Centre & Spa (Spa) in the territory close to Alberta (Canada).
At present this firm receives a score of 4.3 over 5 and that score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is very good, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we can think that the assessment is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Spa is classified in the category of Spa.
Me and my friends all wanted to come here together as a group as we thought it would be fun to have a spa day and beauty treatments together but the lady at the front was so rude we will be going elsewhere.
I had a wonderful massage by Matthew, I usually don't have male massage therapists but he was wonderful. I'm pregnant and he was very aware of all the areas that would be sore at this time in my pregnancy. He was professional and a great RMT. I was super impressed. I would definitely go back!
I recently spent an afternoon getting a massage and pedicure. This was a very generous gift from my Boss. Did it ever deliver. Massage was perfect. My request and pressure was taken seriously, the atmosphere was so calming. Deborah made sure I was comfortable and checking in to make sure my temperature was good. Pedicure was efficient and calming as well! Stella was a real sweetheart. Thank you for a much needed afternoon of relaxation! Definitely planning a return.
Patricia and Stella were amazing. They dealt with this old guy who doesn’t do many pedicures amazingly. Even said my feet were nice! Great time. I recommend.
The Oasis is well worth the extra money it costs. The attention to detail is outstanding with whoever looks after you there. They are very diligent with their safety and sanitizing procedures which during COVID is essential. Special shout out to Samantha and Rebecca who made our experience one that will make us return over and over again.
Get new sandals!!!! My only complaint. I felt like a goddess from my head to my to-.. Er... Ankles. From my head to my ankles. My feet were so sore afterwards.
I had bought a spa package named "YOU ARE WORTHY" for 199.50 plus applicable fees and taxes online. This package was for my wife for her birthday. I get a call from my wife after her visit today, to find out that they charged her gratuity of 10% on each service of the package on a gift certificate that I paid for. Now, I don't have an issue with gratuity on a bill. What I do have an issue with is, no where on the website, where I purchased the gift certificate, does it say that a gratuity will be required after visit. I had assumed it was included in the package fees. I hear the experience was great however getting blind sided by a tip when this was a gift, I think is unacceptable and for this reason we will never return to this place. I do not recommend this place of business just for the simple fact that the way we were treated was very shady. Sad part is , they couldn't even explain to me why I (the buyer) was not given warning of this or even given an option to pay the extra when I purchased the gift certificate. In my opinion we were ripped off!
Love this Spa. The staff is amazing and well educated on skin care, massage and anything therapeutic for the body. Very clean, organized and beautiful Egyptian art work. I felt like home away from home.
One of my favorite spas
Friendly staff and great amenities
Best spa I've been to in Calgary. The facilities are all top notch and seem to be very well maintained. Staff are professional and courteous. Prices might be on the high end of the spectrum but I think the quality of service provided makes up for that. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good spa in Calgary.
Rosalind, for our first massage together, was caring, wonderfully knowledgeable and so generous with sharing her knowledge, I walked out with a well massaged and relaxed feeling. Will definitely see her again!
Always a relaxing environment. Staff are pretty nice and try to make sure you have a good experience
Had my first botox appointment with Laura today. She was amazing!! She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I would highly reccommend Laura & the team at Oasis to anyone looking to get botox done. Thanks Laura!
Beautifully renovated, this new space deserves a visit if you haven't yet been or if it's been a while. Truly and Oasis!
Relaxing and beautiful for a nice afternoon massage session. The massage for me was okay not amazing but I still enjoyed it. Very neat waiting rooms, cozy feel with an egyptian touch on the walls. Oasis offers an assortment of teas, lemon water, cucumber water and a basket of apples, No chocolate :(
What a nice place!
Great place friendly staff...
Although a nice experience to do a couples message, it was supposed to be a therapeutic message. Really, it was just a rub down. I had specifically asked for a message in my lower back and hips. The message therapist didn't even touch me there. When she came upon a trigger point in my shoulders, she simply ignored it and rubbed my shoulders and arms. I looked over at my poor husband who was just getting a very light swirly rub. Not worth the money or your time.
I don't like it
Every year my company has a 'Ladies Spa Day' for all of the women and spouses from our work, and every year we decide to go to Oasis Spa. They are the only people we trust to accommodate more than 50 women's needs. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone ends up feeling relaxed and pampered. The staff are incredibly friendly, down to earth, and knowledgeable. We have a great time every year!
Great massage. Nice facilities
Used a Groupon for massage and facial. So good! Great little luxury service, with changing rooms, showers, sauna, etc. plus a lounge area if you have a big group. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be going again in the future.
Hands down the best spa in the city. The girls at the front were so helpful over the phone when booking our appointments. When we arrived there were a few general forms to fill out which took about 10 minute. The spa in general is super clean from the hallways to waiting areas as well as the changing rooms. They provide ginger tea and Cucumber water. The changing rooms have steam and sauna (have to be booked in advanced), and clean towels, personal digital lockers, robes, and sandals are also provided. The massage therapists and the esteticians that provided our services were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Also, the place is very beautiful and relaxing and has an Egyptian theme, which is super cool and unique. They have a few different waiting area/rooms which you can comfortably relax in and socially distance from other guests. Their pricing is also fair and they always have great deals too! Overall a great experience and will definitely come back.
Honestly one of the best places I've been. Suana (wet & dry), separate showers, fruits, like/ lemon water, plenty of clean up stuff to use in the change room. Comfortable couches and lots of room so you don't feel crowded. Everytime you go you receive a discount towards your next massage. All massages can be written off with insurance as well.
Lovely relaxing massage.
I am a professional musician/songwriter and am in the public eye all the time. Being a seasoned, mature woman, I am very aware of skin care and always have been. If you are going to the Oasis, see Christina (esthetician). She is sweet, lovely and has a vast knowledge of product lines for her young years. She has helped me with many problems of ageing skin that would be an issue for such things as professional photo shoots. She is an amazing young lady!
Was able to book a steam and massage. Massage was great, employee was sure to discuss pressure ect. So relaxing!
Went there 3 times since I moved in the city and always had the best experiences. Everyone working here makes sure you come out of this place more relaxed than you have ever been. Thanks to the team for delivering this quality of service!
Wonderful spa. I love the design, you feel like you're in a spa halfway across the world. The facilities are very clean as well. Curt does an amazing job for massages! Highly recommended.
I am thrilled with the services I received from Laura. My lip injections were not painful and the results are incredible! Realistic and gorgeous! Amazing!
I had my first hot stone massage at Oasis with Lillian, and it was a wonderful experience. She is friendly and skilled, and I would book her again for sure. Thank you, Lillian.
I really enjoy coming here for the different services I've tried, including facials, massages, and pedicures. I've been to a few spa's downtown Calgary and this is my favourite. If you're looking for great pricing, top service and a lovely wait room, then this might be your spa!
It was ok but not the same level of service as I have been there many times. For the facial the aesthetician left for quite some time, when I believe she could have been still massaging my hands. As she was gone for about 10-15 mins. Will have to consider perhaps elsewhere. Disappointed
Oasis Spa....is my go-to place for 'getting away from it all' and on those days when all I need is some 'me time and excellent pampering'. The Great Room offers a comfortable relaxing beginning to whatever services I have chosen. The staff are well trained professionals, & I can relax into their good care. Becoming a passport holder, ensures monthly bonuses which is always a treat. I discovered Oasis some 15 years ago when having newly moved to Calgary...my Real Estate agent told me it was 'simply the best spa in the city' and just around the corner from where I was renting. Since it was my birthday...I gave them a try and have never looked back. I highly recommend Oasis Wellness Centre and Spa.
I went for a treat yesterday. The facilities itself is clean and sleek. However, the estheticians I had yesterday did a really 'rush' job. Not sure if that's what customer would normally get for a promotion. They did offer me a free complimentary membership pin my birthday. But probably would rather pay a little bit more money to go to a different spa to have the job done properly.
Always an amazing experience. Highly recommend couples pedicure or facials.
Booked a massage for my sister and I. We got an overpriced mediocre massage sadly. The spa itself is not bad but you can go to a better spa for the same price point.
The pedicure I had with Stella was outstanding. She has a lovely lovely touch, including the massage, and I was extremely happy and relaxed afterwards. I would definitely ask for her again specifically. The massage I had with a massage therapist who has since left, however, was terrible. I had to ask several times for her to lighten up and slow down. I seriously felt like I was treated like a race horse ready to shoot out the gates. Eventually I gave up asking her and just waited for it to be over. The massage I had from the aesthetician was way more relaxing. It was frustrating because I came on my birthday to relax. I only gave 3 stars because I told the manager about it when I was paying and there was nothing other than a recommendation for next time. Honestly it was such a bad massage I would have thought I would have at least received a credit.
Great Spa Staff, terrible front staff. The spa staff in the back were excellent, however the front staff is so bad I will never go here again despite being a repeat customer. The front staff couldn't care less that I had a concern about their billing practices, she claimed that all there specials are online. When I actually checked they are not all listed. Regardless, the staff member didn't care, even after I mentioned I was disappointed in her lack of care and that I won't come back again. I asked to speak to a manager, the response I got was "we don't really have a manager". Looks like the inmates run the penetentiary. There are much better spa's in Calgary with Staff that care about the fact your spending a fortune. Bad Service = Bad Experience.
Absolutely wonderful experience. My massage therapist was Yanina. She was so lovely, personable and amazing at what she does. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. The spa is cleanly, felt very comfortable in the experience. Thank you so much!
By far my favorite spa I have been to in a long time amazing environment and great services
I have been going here for years to see Katherine! The staff have always been awesome and very welcoming! My favorite Spa In the city FOR SURE!
I booked my massage with Rmt Tibor Soltesz, and I felt like I was reborn after that. It was so relaxing, his techniques are out of the world. Very gentle and a great massage therapist. As I have an office job I book with him every Thursday. I would certainly advise all my office buddies to do the same and get Tibor to work his magic on you. Oh and amazing playlist too :-) Thanks Tibor!
I've been to Oasis a few times over the years. The best spa service I received was from Angelina. I had purchased two Team Buys for the Teye Facial and pedicure for $98. Angelina was so friendly, thorough, and professional. After my first facial/pedi, I was so impressed by her that I wrote to the management about the service I received from Angelina. The Spa rewarded me with a $50 Teye product gift card for the next time I returned. My second facial/pedi was with Angelina (as I had requested her again), and I received nothing but exceptional customer service from Angelina again. She is awesome!
Always my go to spa for great service and amazing staff!
I had a Thai massage on Sunday. It was excellent. Not "relaxing" and so it shouldn't be. It was wonderfully therapeutic. The non-sweetened lemonade was refreshing. Now I'm ready to go to Thailand.
Very good service
Great atmosphere
Hi, My name is Cynthia and I am a member at your Spa. I am normally very happy with the level of service and results. Today was different. The pedicure was fantastic, the facial painful and it has left my face burning and scarred, pictures attached, so much so, that I had to cancel my plans for a Christmas event tonight because of the damage my face is in after my treatment. The facial today was terrible, my eyes were not covered when the light was used or any other time which resulted in getting product in my eyes. The steam was so close to my face-again without eye coverage, when I told her about it she said I was just sensitive because I have a cold. Basically, my face was washed, a peel applied, to which about 20 minutes of cold cloths put on my face after because it was burning so bad, horrible hot steam too close to my face and I could barely breath, then a mediocre hand massage that she asked me if I wanted. I have NEVER had this happen at Oasis. I will not be back-I am in pain, cannot attend my social function and embarrassed to be seen. Thank you, A dissatisfied former client, Cynthia
A getaway in the middle of the city. Expensive but is worth it for how relaxed I felt leaving there every time.
Terrible. I get gift certificates now and them from my boyfriend. I never had the heart to tell him, I don't really like it there. They need a serious reno in the locker rooms. So get this: I am in the change room in my bathrobe, I have a mental laps and forget my code. I peek out in the hallway and ask one of the guys if someone can help me. He tells me to go out to the front reception and ask. Are you kidding me? Go out to a public area in my bathrobe? Ask for assistance? Not likely. He made a face like "really lady? It's no big deal" Well it is for women in bathrobes that don't want to be seen after their hair is upside down after a treatment and naked underneath. Have some respect. Locker rooms are not a SPA environment. Old Saunas, bad foot wear (hurts those who have smaller feet as they are like a size 10). In my salt scrub treatment, the lady left me there naked on a slab while she got some product, and left some kind of fan on. So here I am laying there naked, freezing... what is going on with the experience of the user. I think the Management should go through ALL the services and see where they can improve. I'm not paying more for less. I'll have to break it to my boyfriend... NO more gift certificates there please. Thank you, Lisa
I had been wanting to visit Oasis Spa for years but was unable to until I won a hot stone massage! To say I was excited would be an understatement. To start, the staff was very accommodating to me having to reschedule my appointment which was great! Upon arrival I was greeted and given a tour of the facility. I waited for my RMT in the "Sanctuary" room which was very relaxing. Lilia was my therapist for the hot stone massage. I had never had a hot stone massage before and loved every second of it. She was so great and no muscle pain remained by the time we were done! I used the steam room and shower afterward and I really appreciated the fact that they offer a nice, large sized robe and towels. I can't wait to come back and unwind again!
Me and 2 other family members booked appointments for massage. Upon booking the appointments we were not told about any mandatory tips, but then when I called again another day to confirm the appointments, I was told that Oasis is doing contactless checkout, which is great but they asked if I want to give 10% or 15% tips, as it is mandatory. I have never been to a massage that required that much tip, especially before I even had the massage to know if they deserve a tip of $13.50. The website doesn't say anything about mandatory tips and that too 10% minimum. Not sure what kind of business would ask a whole family to pay tips of $13.50 minimum for each person? I cancelled all 3 appointments and would not recommend this place, as it seems like they care more about the money than the service they provide to customer.
Yanina is the best, she’s the only person I trust for a massage. I’ve recommended so many people to see her over the years and they are always happy with the service she provides
I've been giving you business for 15 years and the ONE time I complained about a massage that left me in tears because it was so painful (and your crazy therapist didn't care either) you billed me the full amount and didn't care. Your facility has been going downhill for years anyway, and I'm happy to report that I found a new place. One complaint in 15 years from a customer who spent so much money there, bought so many gift certificates for friends and family... never again! I was so sore for 2 days because of that abuse, when I should have felt rested and relaxed. Disgusting.
Best massage and spa ever. I like the people and the environment. Highly recommended ????????????
Great spa but could not claim massage through insurance because the massage therapist was not qualified enough, she was a RMTA (Remedial Massage Therapist) and not a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). If you book a massage there and intend to claim with benefits make sure you tell the receptionist you need an RMT. I'm disappointed that the receptionist did not ask this on booking, they are aware of insurance companies requirements and therefore should ask if you intend on claiming the service. If it wasn't for this Oasis would get five stars.
Had a massage and a facial. My massage therapist was very good but the lady doing the facial was pushing hard to up-sell me on a chemical peel that I didn't feel comfortable getting. Why couldn't i just relax and have the facial that I booked?? None of the staff seemed very happy to be working there... i would overhear comments about how its becoming very poorly run and managed (by the owner). The sandals they provided were stiff as boards and actually bruised the top of my one foot! When i asked if they had any different ones, the feedback was no they don't, and that everyone complains about these sandals. I let the lady at the front desk know. Lastly, the change rooms were not very clean - the steam room had a mountain of used towels left in it which was pretty gross and the showers weren't very clean or kept either. Its very sad to say but this place has really gone downhill over the years. The owner(s) seriously need to put some love and money back into this place again. I've been several times in the past years but this time i could really tell how old and run down everything was looking. Very disappointing overall.
Made an appointment on the phone, for a couples massage for our anniversary, was called later that we were double booked. Was offered a later time and a glass of prosecco and chocolates for the mix up. As we were signing forms prior to our treatment, another couple was asking questions about their couples massage to which the receptionist said it is more of a relaxing massage than therapeutic which is what we came for so that sounded great. We were shown to the couples lounge and did have the processo and there was one small chocolate each for us. When it was time for our treatment, my massage therapist was very aggressive. Multiple times I told them the pressure was too hard and it really hurt...like holding my breath hurt...the entire time. I was flinching away constantly. I spent the hour clenching my teeth and tense in spite of communicating it was too much, I had to tell them my body didn't bend certain ways. It was definitely more a massage therapy session like you would get after an injury (I have had those) not the relaxing anniversary experience I was hoping for. When I emerged from the change room I saw my bill had been emailed and it was almost $100 more than what I thought I was booking. I went to the receptionist about the mistake and I was told that was the price and that I should have told them I wanted a 60 min massage when I booked...but that is what the invoice was showing, 60 mins. I then showed her the price on their website and was told I should have said that was the price I wanted when booking....but it wasn't a promo price it is the price they show for the service on their website. I mentioned that there is even a first time visit promo price that I wasn't even asking them to honor, just the advertised price....in the end they offered to discount it back to around the same as the advertised price but that is after being told that they assume you want the most expensive treatment unless you say otherwise, so oweness is on the customer. I was limping later that evening from the manner in which my feet were bent during treatment in ways they don't really go, along with very sore back etc. Even after taking Robax and advil I could hardly sleep last night I felt so sore and bruised...again I have had therapeutic massage for injuries etc so understand how it works but I have never been so beat up feeling from a session as I did from this one...what was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary experience with my loved one.
GREAT EXPERIENCE! my massage therapist liliana was amazing! Came in with some huge knots in my back that had been giving me grief for over a month. I left this place feeling like a new man! Liliana did amazing work, I will be back!
This is my go to spot for a treat of luxury. Great professional staff, wonderful atmosphere and good value for a memorable experience!
Its good but don't go there much so not much info
Oasis is my go to place for massages - Curt is an amazing therapist! He is extremely knowledgeable and really cares about his patients overall health. He’s given me tips and stretches to do out Mside of the massage to help prevent and alleviate injuries/pain. I would definitely recommend him. It’s also so nice after a massage to relax and have a tea and a steam or sauna and not feel rushed out.
Great massage and pedicure
Beautiful facility! I booked a theraputic massage which was a n absolute disappointment! I have regrets of paying for suck lack of massage! The therapist did not use her hands, nope! She used her forearms for the whole massage. Very strange and it did nothing. When massaging my neck and shoulders she did a strange movement where she moved her arms under my back and moving up from under me, not once involving her hands it was a lot of fluff. I finally told her my neck and shoulders need to be massaged and pointed where. What a useless massage therapist! Will never go back, unless its for a refund!!!
Had a couples massage for my wifes birthday today, during the massage my wifes massage therapist was breathing extremely loudly, to the point that I couldn't even hear the music. After nicely saying that its hard for me to relax with this heavy breathing my own massage therapist basically shut down on me and played with my hair for the remainder of the appointment. I have been coming here since 2017 and have never had such a bad experience and on a special day as well! After confronting the receptionist she completely blew me off and said I could wait 10 minutes to talk to someone else. After 4 years of giving these guys my business I will definitely not be coming back.
Great spot, wish I could go every week!
My favourite place for a relaxing day at the spa! The environment is tranquil and all the staff contribute to ensuring your encounter is as relaxing as possible.
Oasis is next-level when it comes to taking care of you and going the extra mile to make sure you're having the best time. My then fiancee and I treated ourselves to a couples massage and some individual treatments prior to our wedding in October. Not only did we receive an amazing massage, but they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and helped us celebrate our pre-wedding spa day. Since October, both my wife and I have been back with other friends to show them what the oasis experience is! Highly recommend!
Best massages, facials and pedicures. Lots of space for social distancing.
Calm, quiet and clean spa. Front desk, caretakers and therapists were all professional and cheerful to their guests. Locker rooms have steam and dry sauna, digital lockers, showers and complimentary personal hygiene stuff for their guests. Our therapists, Kate and Katherine, were awesome and have well trained hands! The massage overall was relaxing and uplifts your spirit! They also gave us cucumber water and apples after the massage. This will be our permanent spa in the city!
Massage was not great, asked to focus on lower back and it was barely massaged, just didn't seem like an experienced masseuse. Room was quite chilly, thought for the price they would have heated beds. There was not a digital clock but a ticking clock so you hear the tick tick tick with the spa music playing which very annoying. Room music died 15 mins left in the massage. I used to go to Oasis often and was impressed in the past but today the experience was a bit disappointing unfortunately. The staff- everyone is very kind but my massage and experience was not great. Hopefully they can improve. Won't be going back unfortunately.
My husband and I decided to go to this spa for a little RnR one late afternoon. We booked a massage and facial for two at the oasis wellness spa Cleanliness: Clean and tidy! clean towels available, showers and bathrooms were clean. sitting and waiting area was tidy. People were always around to take away empty cups. Service: Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The lovely gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful with the booking. The lady at the front desk when we arrived at our appointment was very efficient at checking us in and helpful when problems arose Facilities: dry sauna, steam room, sitting and waiting area with water and apples ( may be not the best snack when people are trying to rest and relax) Organization:Really this is where I ranked them lower. They had forgotten about my husbands massage. We received our massages separately. We had checked in and his massage was on the system. However the massage therapist he was assigned to didn't show up for work. He wasn't reassigned and he was left in the waiting room until I was done my massage. Since he was told to wait for 'someone to get him' he didn't expect to have to speak up. The receptionist did offer to rectify the problem and the solutions offered were appropriate. However it was enough of a bad experience that neither of us want to return to the spa. Would suggest a reevaluation to their work flow or to post a sign that says 'if your therapist has not shown up in 15 min please speak to front desk' Other things that were not helpful to our situation: Both the male and female steam room don't have instructions on how to turn it on or use it. So my husband and I (nor did anyone else) use the steam rooms. There are no instructions on how to use the key pad lockers which are not intuitive to most people. We saw other people ask the receptionist about how to use the lockers or that they couldn't access the locker.
Don't pay much attention to the negative reviews - they are clearly outdated and many times, only people who are unhappy with their experience come to the internet to write a review. Today, I went in for a facial (I had a groupon), and it was amazing. I've had many facials before, and I have to say, this facial was comparable for a $200+ facial at the Banff Springs Spa. Would highly recommend!
BEST place to celebrate a 40th Birthday! The staff were so professional and their services were all top notch. Every single one of us said we had the best massage we had ever had in our lives and we all had different massusses. For groups they offer a private room that you can use as a home base. We brought chocolate covered strawberries, makings for mimosas, cheese and crackers and of course wine. Oasis provided all the glasses we needed. It was very clean and they even provided plus sized robes for the fuller figure gals! A great time was had by all.
Love this place
So relaxing. Love the staff
Ive been coming to Oasis since 2009. I’ve always loved the facility, the staff is amazing and I always enjoy my treatments whether it’s a pedi, facial body wrap and primarily I started coming here to get massages. It’s one of the reasons why I was inspired to become a massage therapist myself. I always feel relaxed after leaving and pain free. Unfortunately, today I can’t say that. The massage I got was sloppy and has now caused pain and inflammation in my back. It’s my fault for not saying anything in the treatment itself but I was just so surprised that it was that bad and I didn’t want to make the situation more awkward. I had no idea how much pain my back would end up in. She used so much oil on me that my back felt like a slip ‘n slide. She had no flow, it felt like she was bouncing around to different areas and was digging into the muscles with force, not pressure. There is a difference. And any educated RMT will tell you that you do not dig the point of your elbow into your clients muscle tissue. That can cause muscle and/or nerve damage. It was rough and not therapeutic in any way. I left feeling super surprised, kind of achy and only started noticing pain getting worse as the night goes on. Trying to sleep is very difficult with this back pain. Luckily I had an amazing facial after that to counteract the massage. She was professional and attentive to my needs. I will always recommend Oasis but I’m very disappointed in this experience. *udate* I had to go to my regular massage therapist to fix what was done and though it’s getting better, it’s still out of sorts.
The best spa experience ever!!!
I had a massage there and was very disappointed. During my massage the masseuse got a text and I heard the distinct “ding” of an apple phone ring tone. I could also hear the people out in the hallway talking which was very distracting when trying to relax. The masseuse wasn’t talented either. However, the people were very nice.
Nice atmosphere. Clean facility. High end spa. Wet or dry sauna available to use. Private rooms to relax in. Personal grooming products for your use, if needed. Would highly recommend.
Great ambiance and service. Had a massage with Tibor and it was relaxing from hello! Tibor immediately asked me about any injuries or tough spots (of which there have been many) and was happy to accommodate to my needs. He is friendly, thorough, and spent extra time on those tough areas. Easy to talk to if that is your thing, but also encouraged me to just relax and enjoy however I felt best. Fully intend on going back soon. Thanks Tibor!
My husband and I came here for a couples massage, it was our first time at Oasis. I was booked for the Steam Room at 2pm and they told me I had to be there for 2pm and not earlier. So we came and had to fill out paper work, then wait for the front desk employees to let us into the back. The front desk person didn't even ask us if we have ever been to the place and did not give us a tour. By the time I made it to the girls locker room I was not able to go into the Sauna because someone else was booked. I was frustrated to say the least and the manager did not really care about the mix up. We had our massages, my RMT was good but the experience wasn't that great. The room we were in was small, like a tiny jail cell. It smelt awful, I don't understand why they don't use essential oils or some calming scents. During my massage I could hear the individual in the next room getting a body wrap done. It was loud and distracting. It was just an overall disappointing experience. I paid $150 for a 60 min massage, it was truly NOT worth it. The place didn't seem clean and was off. Sadly we will not return.
(Translated) The experience I had in Oasis has been until today the best peace and perfect relaxation. I have been treated like a queen and the staff is very attentive, with gestures like that, it's nice to come back. I hope to return soon to Canada and immediately I will go to Oasis Wellness Center & Spa. Super recommended !! Super recomendado!!
I first went to Oasis because I got a Groupon as a gift for my birthday. I was so impressed with the beautiful, calm facilites with ultra-professional staff that the same day I bought a membership. The membership package is carries amazing value for the price. Each staff member from the front desk staff to my RMT (Curt) to the esthetician were professional and really made my experience a great one. I would advise people to book appointments on Sundays when parking is free OR check their website for advice on parking because being in the LMR area, street parking is rare to find!
I had a wonderful experience. The staff are excellent; professional yet personable.. The hot stone massage was a wonderful start to my day. After a short break I had the body glow (salt scrub) which was relaxing and rejuvenating. I then had a facial and felt wonderful when all was done. The facilities are relaxing and calming. I highly recommend Oasis Wellness Centre to anyone needing a little break and pampering. Thank you to Peter for accommodating me, to Curt for an incredible massage and to Kiran for a fantastic scrub and facial.
I have been a loyal client of Oasis wellness Centre & spa the last ten years for their great services and friendly environment. During my last visits, I appreciated the Covid-19 protocols in place to ensure the safety of all clients. Many thanks for the entire staff in Oasis and special thanks for Yanina for her great reflexology session and massage therapy and for Rebecca for her relaxing facial session. Always a wonderful experience!!!
This is a very nice spa, and I'm glad to live nearby! I will definitely come here again. I love the stream room and dry sauna in the women's change room (Queen's Chamber). Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. When making a reservation, the reception is very attuned to making sure your massage is covered by your health insurance. But they don't direct-bill to all major insurance providers, which is a bit annoying. My massage was fantastic! The RMT worked out all my shoulder and back knots, and was enjoyable to talk to. I felt like jelly by the end. The pedicure was fine, though not the best I've had in Calgary, and they are obviously pushed to upsell add-ons during the service, which I am definitely not a fan of. The waiting rooms (lounges) are very peaceful, and I appreciate the tea and apples. I wish you could get a day pass for the lounge and sauna without even getting a service. ;) I'd really like to see sandals of a variety of sizes available in the women's locker room. We don't all have the same size feet. I also think there should be a way to get some help without having to walk to the front desk in our robe. Maybe a courtesy phone in the women's locker room?
Awesome Spa to be pampered!
Excellent pedicure with Patricia! Highly recommended. Front desk staff accommodating as well. Will do it again in the future. I was impressed.
I had one of the best massages of my life, Curt Town, can't recommend him enough!
Excellent attention from the reception to the end of the SPA service. On both occasions I visited Oasis, I had a great relaxing experience; one in an individual massage and another in a couple massage. Great place to visit if you are in Calgary.
Very nice and professional place!!! But the construction works on the nearest building was annoying and making so much dust onthe shop inventory :(
Service is excellent and the best part imo is the sauna and steam rooms are within the women's room and not coed.
My experience was amazing. I bought a groupon voucher for facial and I upgrade it with eye treatments and a face mask. Jaclen is super nice and knowledgeable. She is highly recommend. The nice thing when you do a service you can buy another service with 25 to 50% depends on the service. I did pedicure with kiran, she is really sweet and professional. I asked her to repeat the filing and she did it without hesitating. September they are having 30% on the products. It is amazing to come over with a partner because they have a relaxing lounge which is nice to share the atmosphere with someone. Lovely place, I will be be back.
I had an awesome massage with Chris anger. He was really great. I will book him again. I stayed longer and had a facial with Jaclyn. It was truly amazing I will do this for sure again to pamper myself. it was a great afternoon. everyone was friendly and very professional and the facilities are impeccably clean. There are amazing loose teas and lemon and cucumber water and apples. The change rooms have robes and towels and sandals, a steam room, clean showers with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. They have brushes, combs, hair products, razors and lotion. You can even get a free mineral makeup application when you leave. You dont need to bring anything. it's all there for you. I will return and recommend to friends. I've been a few times and was always able to find street parking nearby.
Great experience. Clean , calm atmosphere. Professional staff.
Facilities for groups, professional, clean and excellent massage.
A delightful experience.
Dated decor and in need an overall facility upgrade. Staff are nice but services are expensive Not very good value for money and don’t recommend
Through a very generous gift, I spent 4 amazing hours being pampered at this incredible destination! The environment and ambience of Oasis is beautiful. If you need a place to unwind and breathe a little, this is it. I can't say enough good things about my truly fabulous facial with the wonderful skin educated Kyle, my lovely body wrap with Samantha and my glorious 80 minute massage with Valerie. I so highly recommend the place & these professional individuals!!
Great place for some TLC
Services are hit-or-miss, and the spa products are a mediocre-quality cash grab. There are better spas in Calgary that charge far less for their services.
I was a bit nervous to go here after the previous reviews, but my experience was nothing short of lovely. Waxing has the potential to be traumatic but my aesthetician, Liga, was excellent - she was friendly, professional, and experienced. It was by far the least painful waxing I've ever had (Liga alone would have me going back). The whole spa was beautiful and relaxing. The change rooms had a sauna, showers, and everything you could possibly need to get ready (including q-tips, a hairdryer, and mouthwash). The woman I checked in with at the front desk was brusque but not unkind, and the man who was there when I checked out was charming - he asked me how my visit was and was quite friendly. Give Oasis a chance and decide for yourself! I will definitely be going back.
I've always wanted to go to Oasis spot never been until my unfortunate birthday my daughter took me there and my oh my to my surprise it was so superb in the service!
I came to Oasis on Valentine’s day with my boyfriend to get facials. The facials were great. I had Rebecca do mine and it was amazing, explaining every step and giving me recommendations (which were very much needed) about my skin care routine. We liked it so much that we bought a couple products that they used that were extremely pricey. I didn’t know until I was charged. They also charged me twice which was a little hickup but was fixed in a timely fashion. We went back a couple of weeks later for another facial and a massage. The massage was very average. The pressure was awkward and she also talked during it a little bit which was weird. I would definitely go back for the facial but not the massage. Also the waiting area is amazing and they let you bring in wine which is fun.
Pampering at its best.
Good service. Nice facility.
Wife and I went for a couples massage. Massage was excellent and staff were very nice. Very nice atmosphere.
First time here, so excited to experience Calgary's number one rated spa. Such a disappointment when I was finished with the massage. I did not enjoy the technique of the therapist Alberto, he was uneducated about neuroma and did not read my intake health form from the start because he would know from the beginning I have scoliosis. I did not feel relaxed at all for the whole 90 minutes as he was going over alot of sensitive areas with too much pressure. What I did enjoy was the tea making options along with the sauna and steam room. Will not return for the price they charge here. Would not rate oasis number one spa in Calgary.
I got a gift certificate from my husband. I got a facial by Yamelys. It was professionally done and my skin feels great! I also got a massage by Valerie. She was amazing and also spent extra time making sure I was satisfied with my massage! Thank you so much I had an amazing time!!
Very relaxing spa atmosphere, incredible decor. We got a great deal on a spa package that included a couples massage and facials. The massages were very relaxing and professional. Facials were gentle and refreshing.
I love this place all treatment and masaje is the best. Very clean and excellent service.
LOVED IT!!! Amazing place! The facial I got there is one of the best in my entire life! This place looks really fancy, and the staff is awesome! I definitely will get my membership at this place! The washrooms and changing rooms are very clean and comfortable to put your stuff Btw Yaya Jimenez is the best! My pictures are before > after my facial!
I've gone to Oasis to receive a facial and another time to get some waxing done. Christina was my esthetician both times. My facial was very relaxing and Christina was very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and making sure i felt very comfortable. The waxing was done very well, didn't miss anything, wasn't too painful, and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend both Oasis, and Christina specifically to anyone without hesitation.
do not get a Brazilian here! it was the worst experience ever! there are much more professional places to go to get this service done. spa it self it beautiful and a nice place to relax prior to treatment.
I wish this place has a pool or hot bath! I had 3 great therapist and 1 wasn't good at all. They always running a promotion so you can still enjoy this luxury treats at this situation.
I had my spa package booked last March 14 which is my birthday. I had massage, facial, manicure and pedicure to treat myself. Prices are a bit overpriced and expensive. I suggest that you visit in this spa if you have an extra budget for yourself and to treat yourself once in a while as the prices are expensive especially extra charge for the special add ons. Not recommended to go here often. My massage is okay, not bad but not the best. My male massage therapist didn’t ask me what is the pressure as I wanted a deep therapeutic massage. He had weak hands. My facial is best, The woman who gave me facial is friendly as well as the woman who did my manicure and pedicure Mary, She is the best because we are both Filipinos and we had a friendly chat while she doing her job. I only give one star off is because of its prices and little or to no instructions especially in changing area on how to use the locker which I realized, the instructions are on inside. All in all, its good but not the best! ;)
Great service, it's a hassle to find parking.
Wonderful relaxing experience enjoyed a facial and an amazing massage along with lunch.
I love coming to oasis it is a beautiful well kept spa with higy trained staff. Everyone who has written horrible reviews are obviously crazy or just plain mean to all the hard workering staff who strive everyday to make it amazing. Thank you
Beautiful place to relax and be pampered.
Love the services and prices are reasonable. Been twice and ill continue to go again!
good
Called 1 hr before an appointment to see if I could get in last minute. Called 45 mins later to say I can't make it. And they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. I will never use this Spa Again!
Very relaxing, staff were very welcoming and skilled. Definitely a place for a spa retreat
I had another great sauna and massage from Kate J at Oasis today. Highly recommended. Excellent service and advice from an RMT
Their services rarely, if ever, go for the full advertised time (usually ending 10-15 minutes early). The staff are well-trained and usually do a good job, but the paid time that is wasted could be used for a longer massage or more detailed treatment than what is currently provided. I have gotten manicures, pedicures, facials and wax treatments.
THE BEST FACIAL by Surinder! I am a picky client and WOW! This lady did an exceptional job! I felt taken care of, her pressure and details-just perfect! I highly recommend booking in with Surinder.
Lovely time everyone there was kind and professional
Such a great spa! This was mine and my spouses second visit and it is top quality. The staff are so amazimg, kind, and just straight up good at their jobs. Loved it and we will be making a point to travel the 2. 5 hrs to continue using their services.
The service was great but be aware of added charges and upgrades during treatment that they don’t clearly explain to you until you see your bill and then it’s too late as the treatments are done
I been there couple of times, it was wonderful experience, beautiful spa, great atmosphere and facial with Aqsa was a great experience, she showed great skills and knowledge, top of that very courteous
First timer at thistgeorgeius facility. Therapeutic massage with Sara Lane was first class, so knowledgeable. The amenities and atmosphere within the facility are top notch. Enjoy sauna, tea, flavored water and relax as long as you choose. It is so worth a time out from City life. True spa experience. If you are getting a massage elsewhere, you are not getting the Oasis experience.
I had a great first time experience at Oasis Spa. Took advantage of the sauna and the steam room. My massage therapist was Meaghan and she is really professional and experienced at what she does! I look forward to booking another session with her soon. This place has a beautiful interior with the Egyptian theme, if you are looking for a day of relaxation in Calgary, definitely consider stopping by the Oasis Spa.
Laura Del Rizzo did my Botox and I was thrilled with the results. I have had problems relaxing my forehead muscle in the past, but she nailed it. The spa is classy and the service was excellent.
Went with my wife for a Couple's Massage on the weekend. We had great time, both Veronika and Sara did a fantastic job. I really liked the Egyptian concept of this place. Staff at the reception, friendly and professional at all times.
Great staff and service! I am always impressed with their Super relaxing and soothing atmosphere! I highly recommend oasis spa for facial and massage therapy. They also have membership system that includes monthly deals and first free service!
If I could give a 0 star review I would. Front end staff is completely rude, patronizing and snarky. Don't ever get sick because they will charge you for half of the appointment. I booked under someone else, they got sick and they tried to charge me for it on my credit card because they weren't organized to enough to build a proper profile on that person even though they had been there 3+ times. Brutal. Plenty of other spas in Calgary that will give you good service and not harass you.
So today, had the best facial, and a massage that Swear took 10 years off of me, I feel so relaxed, Peter did me proud by setting me up with these amazing people today, the only request I have, which I know would be awesome is to move to a better location, I know I would be there more often. Thank you????
Located in the heart of lower Mount Royal this place really is an oasis in the inner City. The interior is getting a tad dated, however they are slowly undergoing renovations. Atmosphere is quiet and calming. Should you want some privacy, you can book private waiting rooms. I usually opt for facial and a massage appointment so I can't comment on any other services. For the massage I had Rocky. He used ample pressure in order to loosen up the number muscle knots that I had, while keeping the massage relaxing for the most part. I would say he is one of the better therapist I've had in the city. If you're in need of a deeper massage, I think he is a good pick. The facial was less of a good experience for me. I felt rather pressured and upsold. I opted for a chemical peel just so I could stop hearing about it. Beyond the upsell, it was pretty standard offering.
It's nice. Great atmosphere. Massage was great. Super expensive though.
I love this place! I love the style, the staff are amazing and the services are amazing! I got my first facial here, and the lady (I can't remember her name, started with W) did the waxing so well it didn't hurt at all. Highly recommend this place!
ask for LEAH, she is amazing.
Recently celebrated a friends 50th Birthday! The salon staff were fantastic in helping me get all the details just right! They made us feel safe and followed the Covid regulations when it came to social distancing and everything was beyond clean. The services we did (facials and pedicures) were amazing as always! Doing a steam before our sessions was exactly what I needed. Love the consistency at Oasis, there is a reason they have been a successful business for so long! Was awesome to sit and relax in the lounge area together and enjoy the lemon, ginger tea. The visit reminded me to take care of me and create more wellness opportunities! I will be back soon! Thank you Oasis!
I have never had a better day. If you’re looking for a spa day with your girls or like a “spa” experience….this is it. The robes, the slippers, the tea, the sitting rooms….this place is the BEST.
Very caring staff. Enjoyed my massage.
Amazing... only negative part is when we had our private room we had staff come ask us every 10 minutes if so and so was here.... maybe the staff should have a sign with the guest name on it instead of interrupting everyone all the time. Besides that amazing!
Private rooms make having a group girls day super fun to hang out before and after your treatments. Next time we will bring swimsuits to take advantage of the steam room and sauna.
They get a G rating. G for GARBAGE.
Every time I visit Calgary from Ontario I make Oasis part of my vacation. I love my pedicures from Rebecca. Such a relaxing and informative service. This visit I decided to add a Reiki treatment from Janina. Wow I love her knowledege and healing touch. Im already planning my next visit.
Very friendly, and professional touch is what I got here, hopefully the for all.
I had the most amazing pedicure with Kiran last week! I highly highly recommend this place.
The service was amazing and the ladies were so wonderful. Very friendly and felt totally pampered. Highly recommend.
I recently got a Brazilian wax done by Rebecca and I'm so glad I did. I was super scared but she was patient, gentle and professional. I assumed it was going to be the worst pain ever and expected I'd have to opt out half way through. She let's you know that is always and option and does it in a way that if you decide you can't finish the full service that you won't end up an uneven or patchy mess (I hadn't even thought about that part but good to know). She didn't make me feel rushed. She kept my comfort in mind. She adjusts to your situation (I guess different growth patterns, texture, etc.) I clearly asked a lot of questions and she happily answered them all. Some people get annoyed with me and just want to get through their job, which is fair and I accept that because really they're not getting paid enough to deal with my inquisitiveness, but she even seemed happy to walk me through it and I get the feeling she loves being able to help people. It was almost no pain, not sure how that's possible but it happened. And if I hadn't been so tense maybe the 2 fractions of a second I did feel pain wouldn't have existed (I guess if you tense up your muscles pull up and make it worse). That being said I can't speak to pain tolerance or what it might be like for other people. I was instantly ecstatic with the results. Now it has been 2 weeks and I can't even mention all the benefits. I never knew things could be so clean. On top of the benefits I was also proud of myself for facing a fear. I never write reviews but I want everyone to know that something small like a waxing can make your days better. Weird I know but I can't stop raving about it.
Such a good experience. I was walking by to see if they had a last minute opening for a massage, and the girl at the front was very pleasant and able to get me in the same night. She booked me with Sarah Lane who did an incredible job! She has magical, healing hands. She even massaged my jaw... I didn't know I needed that, but she did! She was very enthusiastic - it's evident that healing is what she's passionate about doing. I will say, the massage was very pricey but I understand that this is an upscale spa and in this case the price difference reflected the quality of the therapist.
I have been to Oasis twice over the past month and have had wonderful experiences both times! Kim did my reflexology treatment and was fantastic and Janina did my craniosacral therapy and it was amazing-she put me right to sleep! The staff was great, the change rooms were stocked and clean and the common areas were cozy as usual. I also enjoy taking my staff and friends to Oasis for treatments, it is always a relaxing time! Thank you Peter and staff :-)
Great Massage, and they really went above and beyond to help me with my insurance company when I was having difficulty getting a claim through - 5* and will be coming back!
I go at least once a month for waxing and see Liga each time - she is absolutely amazing! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else or to anyone else. While the front desk staff is not always the most friendly, I have had many more positive experiences than negative.
Massage is good but the front desk is not make me happy :(
I have been going to Oasis for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Today was no exception. I am so impressed with their Covid-19 protocols. Firstly, we did the payment, tip, etc. on the phone so no contact when I arrived. Both ladies at reception were behind plastic dividers. I did the pre-screening Covid questionnaire on-line and was asked to wear a mask, which I did. My temperature was taken and hands sanitized before I entered the "Queen's Chamber." My Esthetician, Stella wore a full face shield and also wore gloves during my facial. They pre-booked my time slot for the sauna to ensure I was alone; I only saw one other lady in the change room and we were very distanced. Kudos to Oasis for making me feel safe while getting a facial with the amazing Stella. She has the "touch" and gives the best face/head massage ever. I work front line at a domestic violence shelter and facials are my self-care. Thank you for giving that back to me and having those protocols in place to keep me and the families I work with safe. Peter and your staff at Oasis; I commend you and will see you in a couple of months!
Decent day spa but wish there were more services and the steam room is always broken (or not hot) when I go.
I had a facial done by Stella and it was amazing! Hands down the best esthetician.
Terrible customer service. My wife spoke with the head massage therapist named "Jeff" about a receipt and asked if she could receive a copy with the RMT number for insurance purposes. She tried to explain that our insurance company (Manulife) required it to make a claim. Jeff said that an RMT is not a designation and Oasis only offers NHPC designations and he insisted Manulife accepts an NHPC designation. My wife tried to explain that it is on Manulife's website that they do not. His response "that's your problem" and hung up the phone. My wife spent over $300 that day and that is the last time she will ever go there. Too bad I can't submit a zero star for this review.
Visited the Oasis Spa about a week ago for a 90 min massage. The amenities were immaculate and the staff helpful and friendly. One of the best massages I've ever had with RMT, "Lilia". Parking was a bit tricky during the lunch hour but I managed to find a spot. Would definitely recommend this spa to a friend.
Booked here accidentally for a manicure - disappointed to find out they only have regular OPI nail polish with no other option available (no gel or shellac) -not much for colors to choose from and its extremely expensive for quality of manicure ($90 (should be $40 MAX). However this is a beautiful spot, great staff and amenities, would like to come here for a different service
Always love going to oasis - great atmosphere and all masseuses and estheticians have been amazing
I visit Oasis Spa at least once a month for the last 5 years. Despite some weaker areas such as their front end staff; the professionals who perform the services are beyond amazing. I have had manicures, pedicures, several different types of massages. If you enjoy massage treatments then you NEED to see Amanda Janzen Bach. She is amazing at what she does. Her treatments are entirely tailored to you when you go consistently (she does Thai, Reiki, Cranial Sacral therapies to name a few). I have seen her for two pregnancies for pre-natal work which benefited me and the babies more than I could have thought. If you just enjoy occasional treatments she will make sure to give you the most out of your time scheduled. She is professional, friendly, qualified and I highly recommend her massage services. The spa overall is extremely quiet, relaxing and good for your soul! Go. Try it. You will not regret seeing her.
Excellent service! Best facial of my life, and my pedicure was also very well done. I think the decor could use a little updating, but did not harm my experience. Will return!
Most relaxing waxing!! Ganbatte, I salute the amazing folks who keep the Ballet ladies happeee ⚓????❄????????
I have been going to Oasis for a long time and the new renovation looks lovely. Unfortunately my most recent services were not wonderful and I won't be back again. The massage therapist kept using a lot of pressure even though I asked repeatedly for lighter pressure. I told him he was hurting me on several occasions and he kept going back to what he thought I needed rather than what I was telling him. It was painful and I am still in pain days later. Having had lots of massages I know that some discomfort can happen but pain shouldn't be an issue, especially when the client is telling you to use lighter pressure or that something hurts. The facial I had was equally bad, products were put too close to my eyes and got in my eyes on several occasions, the facialist kept leaning on my chest and she yanked the sheet off of me rather inappropriately at one point. Just really bad overall and not at all relaxing.
It is pricey but the additional amenities are nice.
Quiet and out of the way, there is next to no noise from the outside world once you enter. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and the therapists are well trained and customer oriented. There's a handful of value added bonuses: a wide selection of tea and flavored water at the waiting area, wet and dry saunas, grooming products, and showers at no charge. Free lockers also help with peace of mind, so no need to bring everything into the room with you.
Such a great atmosphere and excellent staff. Very clean.
Had a GREAT massage by Chris, Jan 28th 2018 and I have to say, he has a wealth of information regarding healing of sore muscles. hope to be back playing sports soon thanks to him. I will be back, Thanks Oasis
Best place to go and relax and disconnect from your daily routine. Highly recommend.
Have been going here for years! Very consistent. Great atmosphere and service is amazing. Highly recommended.
(Translated) Incredible experience, I want to return as soon as possible !!!! Excellent staff, the ideal place to spend the day relaxed and recover all the energy. (Original) Increible experiencia, quiero volver lo más pronto posible!!!! Excelente personal, el sitio ideal para pasar el día relajado y recuperar toda la energía.
Awesome relaxing place for massage
Highly overpriced for whats offered. I was not impressed with my massage either.. mediocre massage therapist. 140$ for a massage. Need more skilled massage therapist for deep tissue massage. Steam room was nice I guess but still not worth that amount of money. Very dissapointed I wasted my money.
I recently had a massage with Loki 2 days ago as soon as we were allowed to book appointments again. After 2 months of not having a massage I have to say I feel soo much better!! It was really much needed! I also had a relaxing time at their steam room . Loki is an amazing RMT - if you need a good massage whether it’s deep or relaxing one - make sure you go see him! Been going to oasis spa for a while and it’s always been my happy place. The ambiance is just so amazing!
Not what I expected! I was surprised to see this spa! The Egiptian inspiration is inviting (stunning deco on walls) and the dim lights gives a feeling of relaxation and unwinding. Love this spa! We had a facial done and it was great. The lady I had was very knowledgeable, very careful with my skin and made the experience a relaxing one. I even fell asleep! They had some instrumental tunes and I’m glad the volume wasn’t high and the at the music was never changed to singing tunes or those annoying covers of songs -some spas do that and is annoying. They have some great lounging areas and the teas they provide are AMAZING! I asked where they came from and they are from David’s Tea. I took a few pics but they are a bit blurry. Service of the staff in the back was great! From the cleaning ladies to the cosmetician staff. Highly recommend this place!
Lovely spa, staff were excellent and services well done.
Had a facial with Stella and it was the best ever. The facial massage she gave me was just what I needed
Great facial. Had a nice time with the ladies for my birthday. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lovely atmosphere all around.
I love this spa!! :) the steam room and sauna are fantastic. They do the best facials and the RMT's seem to be the most knowledgeable ive seen yet!
Amazing experience every time! The staff is all very friendly and helpful, and I love all of their services. The facial is amazing, and it's the only place I will go for a pedicure. Catherine and Lola are both great massage therapists as well. Highly recommend.
I love to bring my family and friends to Oasis Spa, we have the best experience everytime. Services are amazing and everyone is friendly.
Always wonderful experience best place in calgary
Oh my word! What an experience at Oasis. Had a sixty minute massage with Andrew and it was just amazing. The place is a complete maze, but just beautifully decorated and peaceful. All of the staff were very well trained and looked after everyone's needs admirably. Lovely evening!
I treated myself to my first ever facial at Oasis Spa and loved it so much that I brought my mom and partner. We will likely become regulars for this treatment. All the staff at Oasis is so friendly and helpful and they make sure that your spa day is just as you expected. I will request Surinder for my facials every time. I feel so relaxed afterwards and she threads my brows perfectly. My skin is always glowing when I leave and for days after. She recommended the Teye Eye Nourisher cream and it's doing wonders! My mom had her facial done by Hanane and loved her experience. She looked so relaxed after and her skin was glowing. Thank you Oasis Spa for giving us a wonderful experience of relaxation and rejuvenation!
The Signature Facial was absolutely to die for. Would recommend if your skin needs to be brought from the dead. Very relaxing and inviting experience. Also quick to accommodate.
We went to Oasis spa to get a pedicure for my birthday; it was our first time there. The lady who took me to show me the locker room didn't show me where the steam room was or how to use the locker. The steam rooms were easy to locate but the locker bit took me a while to figure which led to me not spending enough time in the steam rooms, they did allow me to go back after my pedicure but I was restricted to the dry sauna as I had my nails just painted which made it a not so relaxing experience. My partner and I (esp. me) felt like our feet were not worked on enough. I had very little extra skin before and still have it after the pedicure. We got an additional service of pink salt scrub and the wax, as I mentioned something about pink salts the lady doing the pedicure said she would keep some for me at reception, now I was naive to believe this was complimentary but my partner ended up paying for it. I could get the same thing at Costco for half the price. Overall not the best experience. Everyone we dealt with was polite.
This spa is unreal! I had one of my best facials here. I recommend arriving very early to your appointment, to enjoy the amenities before your treatment. There's a sauna and steam room plus a nice library and waiting area. Such a good experience!!
Updated Review - I went for my birthday, and they are very accommodating for groups and we had a great time. I found out afterwards my friend who got a pedicure and my other friend who got a manicure both got infections from there. Very disappointing, I will not be returning... —————————————- My friend had a spa day for his birthday and it was amazing! I had the facial and pedicure and both were awesome! The ambiance is great, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Not overly pushy to me at all! The lady doing my pedicure told me about the gift certificate deal and I made sure to jump on that before I left. I cannot wait to return!
Great massage place.
Excellent service
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! The front staff of this spa all have a bad attitude and are very rude! I booked and appointment for my wife but ended up cancelling it minutes later, Oasis did not cancel it on their end so they wanted to charge us. I have asked to talk to the owner but he won't call me back, not one manager talked to me, the only people I spoke to was the rude girls at the front. I have contacted my credit card company to make sure they do not charge me for their mistake. I will make sure that I tell everyone I know never to go there, so I am warning all of you out there pick another spa!!!!! To top it off they are over priced anyway!!
Very relaxing, I love it
Decided to treat myself to a massage and was able to book in within a few days. Curt Town was amazing! Highly recommend him for any massage needs. The staff were also very helpful and the service was great! Curt Town is his name. Book with him!
I always book with Aqsa for my TEYE Facials and she is fabulous! She's very welcoming, makes you feel comfortable right away, and gives amazing facials. Been seeing her for 2 years and I'm glad I found her.
It's one of the best places in the city if not the best to get spa services. The therapists are really good and so is all the staff. They have steam room, sauna, showers.
Woman's bathroom was closed from a flood or something. So we we're super cramed into the men's....just wasn't impressed to have that experience since I heard nice great reviews of other members that said the men's bathroom isn't anything like then the womans. Over all was great though. Enjoyed my massage! It was really nice and our facials were good too. I just hate the upselling. I understand the business encourages the esthetician. Especially after I said I wasn't interested 4 or 5 times. Obviously their get part of $30 extras!!! I may go there again. Maybe next time if I go I'll be sure to and go when I know the woman's change room is back up and functioning properly!
Worst manicure I have had in ages. My sisters and I were there today and because I had polish on (they also charged an extra 15.00 to take the polish off) the girl ran me through my manicure like wildfire just to keep up and send us all out at the same time, they also did not dry the polish but sent us on our way to carry our purses out by ourselves with wet nails. I watched my sisters get these long 10 min arm massages (mine was 10 secs long) lots of time spent on nails looking great etc and when the girl bumped my one nail at the end and smudged the polish she ran her gloved hand over the nail and just put more polish on it. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this place considering the price (80.00) and the sloppy job that was done.
(Translated) I slept in my massage, I thought it was rude to the therapist. But in reality, it was such a professional job that I relax so much that it took me to the limit of sleep. It was an experience. I recommend it. Test it.
The front staff are not trained to deal with customers. If you call two hours before close to book an apt for any service they lie and tell you that they are fully booked for the day (just so the snobby front desk staff can leave early). Peter, whom is the failed president of that old moldy spa could care less about customers satisfaction after you pay the over priced services and if you order lunch and you are running behind with your services, he will test its tempature with his dirty fingers. Yes, that is correct, he sticks his dirty fingers in your food. The place has flooded in both bathrooms so many times that it is a health hazard because of all the mould and mildew in the walls and ceiling, that they fail to mention to clients. Do not waste your time or money you could end up sick.
It was a lovely way to spend my bday, being pampered. A relaxing massage followed by a pedi ????
I had a great, relaxing facial with Sumi. It was my first time at this spa and I was impressed. I wish I had more time to enjoy the facilities (sauna and steam room before/after my facial). The facial was good - I’ve had bad facial experiences before so this one was the first time after that - and she explained the products she used and recommended, without pushing sales which I appreciated. I’d go again.
Decent. First time here and it will be the last time. I had the facial and pedicure. Facial was actually worth the $$$. Pedicure was uh... The manicurist was amazing. The price of the pedicure makes zero sence. I ended up paying $90 for cuticle cuting and buff, nail shipping, callus work(obviously only if you have callus', I did not) massage and O.P.I nail polish. No gel nail polish available. Um. I'm not trying to sound cheap. I love spending money on myself. This pedicure experience was maybe work $24- $30. I understand in these times, you gotta do what you gotta do but at least make it make sense.
It was okay
Love, love this place! Feels like you are in a far away resort! Excellent treatments, and very knowledgeable staff.
This place is so amazing! My partner and I recently went for men's facials with Kyle. He was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. He explained and recommended products that has helped us take care of our skin!! We will absolutely be returning and requesting him specifically. ????
We have been coming here for years, and with good reason! The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and very welcoming. My facialist and massage therapist made me feel very comfortable amidst these times. Thank you! We will be back again and again!
Had a great massage by Lola. Friendly front staff, awesome looking renovations, great place to relax! I think people definitely need to check it out because each time I come I have a great experience!
Had my very fist massage on Sunday here and absolutely loved it had a nice relaxing time there and good conversation with the massage therapist
This was my second time to Oasis. I don't think I'll every go back as they double booked my massage therapist and I ended up getting a very short 15 minute massage. My husband, sister and I all had appointments at the same time. We arrived 20 minutes early so we could take our time before our massages. My husband got called in first then my sister. As I sat there waiting to be called in everyone else was called. 15 minutes later I decided to go ask the front desk if they were running behind with my appt. since I was the only one left. They told me they would look into it, so I waited another 10 before someone came to talk to me. They said they had had a mix up and were looking for someone who would be available to give me a massage but unfortunately I wouldn't get the full hour I had booked and today's appt. would be complimentary. I waited another 10 minutes for someone to come get me. I finally received a very short 15 minute massage because the lady rushed me in and out. By the time my sister was done I was already dressed. I don't think I'll ever go back, I think the apology I received for the mix up was very insufficient. It's not like I was a walk in appt., my appt. was booked earlier on in the week and to be only given a 15 minute massage as their way of saying sorry for our mistake was very disappointing. Not only have they lost me as a client but 2 others in my family and bad reviews to anyone else I will speak to.
This place is not relaxing at all. They keep pushing sale products on you. It’s actually quite annoying never going there again. They also messed up the billing. Before I LEFT I asked the lady in the front if I need to pay? Since this was a gift from group-on. To quote her “oh it’s taking care of”. I still will continue to say this is one of the worst places for spa.
Shelniel gave a great massage and was very knowledgeable on dealing with my personal issues. Thanks!
