I live in Canmore and get my nails done monthly by Mariz. She does an excellent job. Max’s spa is beautiful and I always feel welcome. I love that I can have a glass of Prosecco while having my nails done. I have also used Mountain Glow’s stand up and lay down tanning beds many times over the years. I buy the Moroccan Oil curl hair products and have also used the teeth whitening services and plan to continue with those. My daughters have both had a princess spa package experience as Christmas gifts and LOVED the experience. I would recommend (and often do) Mountain Glow to anyone.

Wow...all I did was call to see if they offer complimentary first tans (like so many places in Calgary) and the male that answered was so unfriendly!..and no elaborating or asking questions to try to at least get my business even! This town needs another option!

Beyond disappointed with the service from the owner of Mountain Glow Tan & Spa. I purchased a package for my girlfriend which required a few time-sensitive visits. Unfortunately due to several events (covid, staffing issues etc.) my girlfriend had to be in contact with the owner a few times to find out what the best course of action was. We received VERY rude and short responses with no empathy or alternatives being offered. In the end we had to request a refund. We received responses such as "You know what. You will have a refund by the end of the day." and "No your not getting more then that on the refund. It’s your choice to not receive the rest of your treatments. It’s not a good afternoon so stop saying it! Don’t email me again. You are getting refunded on what you chose not to use.That’s it". She was more than willing to accept an alternative option but since the package required several time-sensitive visits, each appointment had too much time in between resulting in each visit being pointless. We understand times are tough for businesses but the owner here should absolutely refrain from being so rude and maybe just offer a game plan in the future so we wouldn't have to be refunded in the first place. I unfortunately cannot recommend this business to anyone as we have received the worst customer service in all of our years living in Canmore.

I’ve been to Mountain Glo Tan & Spa twice now. Clean salon, staff are very welcoming and attentive. Rish the barber is my go to guy in the Bow Valley for haircuts! For those seeking out a barber who can cut a super close / sharp skin fade; look no further! He cuts closer than any other barber I’ve been too (I’ve even been to Calgary for a haircut and the salon I went to couldn’t cut as close as I wanted!) Rish is the man - super professional, friendly and quick, will definitely continue going to him for a cut for as long as I am living here!

Recently visited Mountain Glow Tan and Spa and absolutely loved my time there. I got a mani-pedi with gel nails by Chelsea and I could not be happier with the way my nails turned out. On top of the amazing service was great conversation which made my experience that more pleasurable. If I am ever in Canmore again I will stop at this salon in a heartbeat!

Creekside Villa

Do not go to this place unless you want to be mistreated. My girlfriend, her sister, and mom were scheduled for pedicures and manicures. Unfortunately their mom could not make the appointment because she is currently going through chemo treatments and was extremely sick that day. Totally out of anyone’s control. But this terrible place blamed them and tried guilting them for cancelling their mom’s appointment. Are you kidding me? Is that good customer service? No. That’s not even being a good person. They talked with management a day later and STILL this spa took no responbility for how their staff acted and treated them. Do not go here. Spend your money somewhere else.

Recently had a manicure and pedicure , both hands and feet look amazing ! The staff are super friendly and service is exceptional. Their newly renovated room was very relaxing, as well as the great massage chairs you sit in while getting your feet done. I cant wait to go back and highly recommend

I would like to say that everyone that worked there was super friendly however I had a bad first experience. I got my eyelashes tinted for the first time but there was dye stuck under my eyes as well. We tried scrubbing it off at the salon But i was told to try at home. It wasn't until I tried for a bit at home that I realized that the hairs under my eye, on my face was dyed as well. The only solution was shaving under my eyes. I also had a reaction from trying to scrub the dye off and now have scars under my eyes. Definitely won't be getting the tint done again!

Was visiting in Canmore and saw their promotion for Facials on Thursday, $40 off! I had the service done by Mariz and it was so relaxing. I’ll go back for sure next time I’m in town. Just make sure to validate the price paid at the front counter, as the staff had forgotten to provide me with the rebate. Excellent job by Mariz!

I had the best facial from Mariz the other day. She was so professional and did an outstanding job on my face. The added extra touch of arm/hand and neck massage was very nice. Most places just leave the room when they put the mask on but not here, they pampered you the entire facial.
