I love Leela but I regularly go to the Bridgeland location and everyone there is amazing. This time I went to Beltline and I regretted it. The staff aren’t friendly or mindful and the massage experience was not good. I do not recommend this location. Go to Bridgeland....they are awesome there.

Nataliya was great! I enjoyed my facial and had all day relief from my dry skin. The next day I experienced relief from my hormonal acne. I can’t wait to go back and see her again! Great communication and I loved the products she recommended for me. She was kind, gentle and I liked the customization that she provided in my appointment. Leela online booking was convenient. I liked the reminder email the day of my appointment. I also felt safe and was happy to see the COVID precautions they have taken at the spa.

Calm, relaxing environment, great facilities and the massage was awesome. I normally go to Stillwater at the Hyatt, but it is a bit pricey. I’d say Leela strikes a good balance. Michelle normally works Bridgeland, but I’ll be coming back to Beltline because all in all I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

It was a cute space, the RMTs are sooo lovely and skilled at their work. Unfortunately it was very cold in all the rooms I was in - and getting a body scrub in a cold room is not enjoyable! The waiting area once you’ve put your robe on was also very chilly. The music in the rooms as well was rather loud and not very relaxing. It’s unfortunate that the environment wasnt the best experience, because as I said, the RMTs were sooo skilled and very friendly!

Best massage ever! It was our first time at this location and me and my boyfriend spent our anniversary for a couples massage. Location is convinient, Everyone was so professional and courteous and the moment you walk it youd feel at ease with the dim lighting, incense and music also love the decor! Not just outside the rooms but also in the room. Chantelle the receptionist made us feel so special and offered us complimentary drinks for our anniversary. Yes they actually have a spot where you can relax and have a drink or a small snack. The massage therapists that we got were both amazing as well. It was natalia and vicki and they were both so great. We both have never felt so relaxed in our life! Highly recommend this place and we would definitely come back probably once a month or more often than that. (Also did not know they can direct bill to insurance so this is another bonus)

My massage was AMAZING! I enjoyed every minute of it. BUT.... Word to the wise—their prices go WAY UP from Friday-Sunday. Mon-thurs a 90 minute massage is $135. Fri-sun it is $160. I don’t understand why the price difference. Maybe to make up for losses caused during the weekdays when most people are at work? My massage was booked for 9-10:45 I assumed to account for filling out forms, getting changed etc. I arrived at 8:55, filled out forms and waited. I was warmly greeted by my massage therapist, went to the room to discuss any problem areas, was left to change, and then the massage commenced at about 9:15. I checked my phone when I was dressed and in the lounge area and it was 10:34. That is NOT a 90 minute massage. Also, their debit machine: tip option is the most unusual I’ve encountered. Instead of the standard % or $ option, it actually has 15% “good”, 18% “great”, or 20% “WOW” which made me feel like if I didn’t tip a certain way I didn’t appreciate my service. My tip is a gift. I don’t want to feel shamed into giving it. I would have given less stars based on these things but I don’t want to take away from the amazing job my massage therapist did.

This was my first time at a Leela Eco Spa and I was very pleased with all aspects. I booked online and confirmation was quick and then they confirmed my appointment a day before. All forms are online and can be completed quickly and easily. I chose Ed Stolar as my therapist because he had experience with Sciatica and rotator cuff problems. He was very professional and knowledgeable and tailored the massage to my needs and checked regularly on the pressure. It was one of the best massages I’ve had and left feeling like he dealt with all areas that needed attention. Ed is also a great conversationalist and shares stories easily. I will be back!

Went for the banana rumtini signature pedicure and loved it. The staff are really nice and professional. The service was much higher end than I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would go again to relax and try another signature pedicure. This location seems like it'd be fun for a bachelorette party. While it was fun it was a bit pricey for what you get.

Very disappointing. Have always been skeptical about massages in Calgary , however decided to give this one a chance due to highest reviews on google. Too much effort was put into interior and and comfort , so... ok here is a one star. But all the fancy things don’t make a massage itself any better. Didn’t have any chance to experience “service” we were kinda rushed in to our tables. and the whole massage i just kept wondering when is it going to start. No technique, no system, no massage journey.... finally we were led into “lounge” and there was no hot water for the tea lol????. Maybe i just got that one unexperienced masseuse , but the place with such ratings is supposed to have only professionals

I requested a last minute appointment online. I was contacted within the hour to confirm my request and to confirm my appointment via email/text. Booking online was super easy. Once we arrived at the spa we were greeted and taken back to the waiting area promptly. The front receptionist was friendly and courteous. The waiting area was clean and quiet. We were then brought into the room for the massage after waiting no longer then 5 minutes. The massages were amazing. Both massage therapists were very friendly and receptive. The ambiance was calming and we had a relaxing time. Afterwards the payment process was quick and easy - no problems with using our health insurance. Overall, excellent massage experience and customer service. The prices are comparable and the quality of service was great. The decor and design of the space created a high quality experience. We will definitely be returning!

As waxes go it was much the same as any other place that I've been to. What disappointed me most (as an environmental and sustainability consultant) was that it wasn't in any way 'eco' which is the only reason I was prepared to pay the high prices. In fact, it was less eco than any other wax I've ever been to (using 20-30 wooden sticks which go straight into the trash...?). The bathrooms only had garbage bins which means there was no compost to place the compostable hand towels into, so they went to landfill too. The place was nice and calming and I'm sure the massages with eco-friendly products are great, but the esthetics side of things shouldn't be advertised as 'eco'.

Komiko seemed very experienced and knowledgeable, almost intuitive in finding areas that need to be addressed. The location has very nice decor and atmosphere. My only concern was staff in the facility were talking and laughing loudly enough to be heard over the music in the room and it disturbed to serenity of the experience. LOVE the location - it is really convenient downtown, parking is a bit of a nightmare but it is totally worth it. I go often with the girlfriend for couples massages. Recently the couples massage room moved to the front of the building and the whole ambiance has been destroyed. Last two visits all you can hear is street traffic and the tenants upstairs yelling and playing music...which definitely ruins any chance of a relaxing experience. Aside from the noise, the massages have always been amazing and I would highly recommend Leela. Just avoid the new couples massage area unless you bring ear plugs. P.s. the eucalyptus shower spray is the bomb

Our family goes here always for a massage, we’ve experienced that they have the best massage we’ve ever had and one of the best, kind staff. Every thing including the entrance and the rooms were very clean. The room was very quiet and relaxing also including a very soft and comfortable massage bed. And knowing the amazing quality and and cleanliness at this spa the prices are super fair. I rate this spa a full 5 stars cause it’s just perfect and has no issues. I had my very first lymphatic drainage massage with Nataliya and it was absolutely amazing!! This particular customized massage was recommended to me by my naturopath and it was exactly what I expected. Nataliya explained this is not like your typical massage experience and showed me on my hand what the sensation would be like, it is a very gentle motion to help push your lymphatic fluid. I would highly recommend seeing Nataliya. I also noticed some slimming from water retention on my mid-section which was an absolute bonus! Thank you very much, I look forward to my next appointment!

I have done my part, I called you and I emailed you multiple times. I still did not receive anything. Now I do not know what to do. - I received a good massage when I was there, but the people constantly walking and the squeaky floor were not good for a Spa. I did not enjoy that. - I was sold by your featured Sauna, but when I get there hours later, your sauna was Out Of Service. and I did not receive a sincere apology at the moment. - change room was clean and well maintained, but when I opened my locker, my robe was wet. There are so many good reviews, but my experience with you is real.

Cozy atmosphere but staff are not very mindful of keeping their voices down or walking softly in the hallways while clients are inside getting treated. A lot of running or fast-paced heavy stomping during my massage sessions the past couple of times have made it very distracting and not as much of a relaxing environment to get massages.

I have been going to Leela Eco and Spa at the beltline location for 3 years. The atmosphere is very relaxing. My regular Massage Therapist is Sawa McCann. She is really good. You should try going at the beltline location on Wednesday evenings and meet Rocky who works the reception. He is really friendly and professional. Some Registered Massage Therapist that you should also try are Eleanor Fornier, Britt Elder, Liceth Marquez, and Nina Wongsuratrakul. It is not only the atmosphere at the beltline that is great but also the staff that works there. All the ladies and gent that my husband and I encountered are so friendly, professional, respectful, and are definitely really good at what they do . Thank you!

I have gone to this spa three times as of now, while my first two massage therapists were lovely, it was Natalia that really blew me away. I currently am having massage therapy as I participate in sports six to seven days a week. Natalia was wonderful, she listened to understand my sport and where I would be sore, as well as gave me stretches, recommendations for further treatment, and things to consider when being active. If you want a sport massage with the spa experience then I highly recommend Natalia at Leela Eco Spa - Beltline.

I was nervous since it was my first massage experience, but the staff made me feel very comfortable and informed. Like their name states, they're totally eco-friendly. They used coconut oil (the expensive stuff!) for the massage, which left my skin so soft. I recommend Rachael at the Beltline location! As soon as I mentioned I had started and came because of spin, she immediately understood my trouble areas and got to work -- after answering my questions and explaining each technique. She even gave me some warm-up exercises to do pre- and post-spin class. I will be back soon~!

I had a hot stone massage for the very first time last weekend at the Beltline location and I was nervous and apprehensive when going in. I had a massage with Nataliya and not only did she greet me in a warm and professional manner immediately, she made me feel at ease and comfortable in her professionalism and tone and mannerisms. Now I don't usually write reviews, but I had to take the time to appreciate and commend Nataliya on what an amazing job she did and the great experience I had with her. I would highly recommend this spa and Nataliya to all of my friends, co-workers and family as I think everyone should have an amazing experience as I did. The only downside was I was poorly received by the front staff member working the day of Saturday January 19. The reason I sought this spa out was because of the amazing reviews I read online about it and was highly disappointed by the unprofessionalism and curt and rude way I was treated the second I walked in the door. The reason I would go back is to see Nataliya again. Hopefully I have a better customer service experience my next visit.

The good.... My massage therapist was wonderful, very kind and the massage itself was very relaxing. The spa is located in a convenient location in the downtown area. The bad...I finished my massage and had to wait for my husband so I decided to enjoy the waiting area. It's set up nicely at the back of the spa with coffee, water and snacks available. Unfortunately this area was not very relaxing as one of the employees for the spa sat in the waiting area chatting with a friend at a level that was incredibly disruptive to anyone trying to enjoy themselves. Maybe this conversation could have been taken to the front waiting area where people aren't trying to relax. When you spend this much for a relaxing spa day it's a little disappointing. It was a good and bad experience so that's why the 3 stars.

I went for an hour long couples massage for our anniversary. Not only is the lady who manages the phone line very helpful and kind, but my massage therapist Leah did a really good job. Price was nearly $200 with tax, but worth it if you have insurance. Will be coming back. Edit: came back for a deep tissue massage with Annie and she really seemed to care and treated me really well! Nataliya didn't an incredible 60min massage - I felt very comfortable and I have to say it was one of the best massages I've ever had! The only thing that could have made this 5 stars was at the time there was something very loud going on upstairs which at times was really disruptive. I live near the Bridgeland location and work near the Beltline so I am always close by to either of these amazing spaces. The front of house is always accommodating and welcoming. It’s great to have direct billing. I’ve seen quite a few different massage therapists and have always had a great experience. I would give a special recommendation to Francis though! I always leave feeling refreshed and restored. The extra little things go a long way, like robes and sandals, aromatherapy, heated beds, tea and a wine bar. I first started going when I was pregnant a few years ago, which was also wonderful. I also love that they have committed to going paperless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I would give them 5 stars but due to the age of the building it can be quite loud with squeaky floors and thin walls so having a massage is not the full spa like experience I was hoping for. But if a bit of noise doesn’t bug you, then you’ll have a 5 star experience I followed an RMT to this spa who is amazing. Ask for Eri Nakamura and you won’t regret it! Her style of massage is awesome. She gives a custom experience depending on the client and varies the pressure accordingly. She offers head to toe service and is just a lovely person!

We had massages booked right when Leela spa opened. Once arriving it was very dirty inside on the floor which the receptionist asked us to take off our shoes. Do they not clean the floors daily? It should not have been that dirty especially having to take off our shoes. It was also very cold in the building and we in the rooms. I at least had a great massage. But the wife couldn't wait to leave as her massage therapist used just her knuckles the whole time and did not work on the areas which my wife told the therapist she would like her to work on. It's to bad we had such a bad experience here as we where really looking forward to a relaxing first massage back after the covid restrictions lifted.

I've had 4 consecutive amazing experiences here. Talented RMTs that care about your well being and comfort of your experience. The lounge is SO relaxing. So many snack and tea options to have whilst you wait in a giant soft robe and slippers. I highly recommend coming early to enjoy the lounge. The last RMT I had let me pick my scent for the coconut oil even. Heated beds and quiet/relaxing atmosphere. Only critique would be how they don't make it clear that weekend rates are increased. Also, the reservation system is not too mobile friendly and quite time consuming.

My massages here have been good, but I don't like that for what I pay, I get a massage that starts late and ends early. My massages here have all been about 50 minutes long. You book a time slot of 11-12:15 for the hour massage, and the massage starts around 11:10 after they come get you a little late and you take five minutes to get changed, and then you are done at 11:58 without fail. This has happened for all of the half dozen times I've been here.

Reason for 3 stars is that the front desk staff were not as professional as I would expect. Our paperwork wasn't ready, and one of our therapists wasn't even registered to work there...its a bit of an insurance hassle, which makes more work on my end. This takes away from the spa experience greatly.

I found it to be highly hospitable from the moment I checked-in until I was ready to leave. Though there were some hickups related to being a new location, the staff was both attentive and efficient in ensuring that customers were comfortable. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend a visit! The direct billing option is a huge plus that is convienient for clients with most insurance coverage plans.

I have been seeing Britt for about 3 months, once a week, for a 90 minute massage. I am a fairly hyper, not easily relaxed and constantly on the go kind of person. Britt manages to put my centre right back where it needs to be. My athletic activity is intense and she has worked out the tension to where I can feel flow throughout my whole body. She patiently and effectively works on my injured areas and the differences in my range of motion and pain relief has been incredible. Her methods are completely tailored to your needs and her main focus is delivering a massage that is restorative and useful to what is going on for you in your body and mind. Since seeing Britt, I have noticed my sleep quality has improved, my ability to exercise has felt easier and with decreased pain and my mind has been able to slow down considerably. I am grateful for her knowledge of the body and how all it’s components are interconnected. She has quite easily become and important part in my ability to set up a more efficient and relaxed week.

Leela Eco Spa provided such a wonderful day. The atmosphere is peaceful, the lounge is comfortable, and the staff are experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable about the services they provide. The day was booked by my husband as a surprise for me, and Leela Eco Spa accidentally sent me two confirmation emails about the day, ruining the surprise. I normally go to the Bridgeland location but this time I wanted to get massage at beltline and I wouldn't recommend it. The front staff isn't as friendly and during the entire massage I could hear a few ladies giggling and talking and lots of noise from upstairs with ladies in high heels walking back and forth and at one point stomping around. It wasn't relaxing at all and I felt like it ruined the whole experience.

EDIT: Amy from Leela reached out to me to try and resolve this issue, which is so rare these days and I appreciate it very much. I came here for a massage a little while ago. I usually go to the Bridgeland location, but went here because it is close to my office. The person at the front desk didn't confirm my insurance before my appointment, and ended up charging my insurance from my previous benefits.... then, she told me that next time I would have to pay for my service up front, and submit a claim to my insurance provider? Which was weird, because I have never had to do that at the Bridgeland location. I don't know, the whole thing was very confusing and honestly it kind of ruined my whole massage experience. I won't be going back to this location.

Fantastic spa! I’m giving this five stars because the facility is gorgeous, free food, drink and a lovely lay out- the massage was great- went for a couples massage and felt wonderful afterwards, Lisa did a great job. A couple of suggestions for the spa (which didn’t take away from the experience but would certainly add to it): 1. Put compost/recycle bins in- lots of orange peels, tea bags, paper towels end up in the garbage here and could easily be composted. This is especially important because if the facility is called “Eco” there should be some arguments as to how it is Eco. 2. Remove the peanuts/nuts from the facility. I would not recommend this spa to people who are severely allergic to nuts as some of the free food has glass containers of nut mixes and leads to easy contamination of the other free food.

I had Catrina- she had one of the best massage techniques and she focused on the areas I specifically asked her to. The environment was nice and calming. Vicky T. at Leela was fantastic. she didn't try and talk my ear off which was great. she communicated what was happening and asked about the pressure to make sure she got it right. the 90 min massage went by quickly. from the time i arrived at the front everyone was professional and made me feel welcomed. my wife also had a massage with an RMT Catherine maybe Katherine and she fully enjoyed her massage as well. we are already planning our next massage with the same 2 RMT's.

I had a massage here today with my friend (couples massage), and had Sawa as my RMT. right off the bat she asked me if I had any preferences or if there was anything specific I wanted her to target. I told her my preferences and she lived up to the preferences and more. One problem I've had in the past with other massage therapists at other locations was my RMT not targeting the things I wished they would (even after bringing it up) but the areas she targeted, the pressure, it was like she could read my mind. Her and Christa were very warm and made me and my friend feel very comfortable +relaxed the entire experience. We'll definitely be coming back and exploring more of your services. Thank you!

We often go to Leela, and a year end couples massage was just what we needed. Great therapists and admin, always a relaxing positive experience. Could use a bigger entrance area this time of year, and I always see the drinks menu but am never sure who to ask for a mimosa. But the massages were great, the staff are friendly and helpful and the space itself is very calming and relaxing overall. Just order your drinks in advance ;).

The new beltline location is very clean and aesthetically designed well, although it is a bit convoluted with the many hallways. It's very comforting inside and I liked the lounge. Customer service was friendly, but should keep in mind that present customers are more important than those on the phone (especially for ones that sounded quite demanding) - I had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be attended to after the fact. Other than that, I highly recommend the beltline location to my friends and family.

What I liked: I was able to get in for a massage the same day. The front desk person was friendly. The massage was good, the MT did what I asked and focused on the areas I wanted while still managing to do a full body massage. What I didn't like: The couches in the waiting room were seriously uncomfortable. I wasn't given a choice of scents in the massage room. The background chime soundtrack during the massage was tinny and irritating (although the MT did change it to piano music about 2/3's of the way through which was much better). I didn't get the email confirming my appointment because they had misspelled my name, even though I had spelled it for them while booking my appointment over the phone. The location felt small; I was tripping over shoes while trying to stand at the reception desk and pay. The location was also somewhat jarring, being so close to the busy street which you could hear in the waiting room, and only a curtain separating the reception from the hallway with the massage rooms. Overall was too expensive for what it was, and the "spa experience" part of the visit was lacking.

I’ve been going to Leela for over a year now and Brit my massage therapist is the absolute best! I would highly recommend Leela Eco Spa! PS: go to the Beltline location because they have a changing room, complimentary tea bar and snack and wine and beer available.

It is very difficult to find an Acupuncturist who is well versed in the broad spectrum that is Chinese Medicine. My Acupuncturist retired but not before referring me to Alex. Since his referral, Alex has helped to alleviated the many symptoms that come with my autoimmune disease (Hypothyroidism). She also helped me to prepare for a surgery with Herbal Medicine and Nutritional counselling which my surgeon and I believe substantially softened the recovery. I live 20 minutes outside of the city limits but gladly commute for the care I receive during my acupuncture treatments. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ANY health concerns!

The whole experience was beyond what I expected. This was a surprise for my boyfriends 23rd birthday and he was so happy. He was very nervous and had never gotten a massage before and they made him feel so comfortable and relaxed. Nataliya and Annie were very kind and welcoming. They even provided advice on how to releive some of our tension. The space is gorgeous and I would consider it a hidden gem. I will absolutely be going back and we have already reccomened it to a handful of people.

Got a 90 min couple's massage but the tables were across from each other so didn't feel like it and we didn't arrive 5 min early as suggested but right on time, ending up losing 15 minutes of massage time waiting for others to finish at the counter and then fill out forms.. :/ hence the 2 stars.. I've been to other places where the massage is 90 minutes from when they start.. I booked mine for 3:30, started 3:45 and ended at 5.. may as well have gone for individuals or to Le Germaine where it really is more for couples and same price too with full time.

Great spot - professional, calm, and relaxing. I've always had excellent RMTs at Leela, but was so impressed with Valerie L, who took a whole-body approach to addressing some neck and shoulder tension issues. Il'l definitely try to book with her again!
