I had an all day spa package. Hamamm package. The lady who gave me my massage kept commenting on my size "you are small, how much do you weigh.. You are not as small as me" she commented with a rude tone. It really affected my ability to relax. They also commented on my choice of lunch and I was not able to get what I wanted and ended up not being able to eat the food that came (provided in the package) In addition they overcharged me. Overall it was not a good experience

I just had an alpha vital facial with Candance, and it was phenomenal. Compared to facials and peels at other spa's, this treatment blew them all out of the water. All the products smelled amazing, the massage was *everything*, and Candance was so kind and clearly an expert in her craft (all the staff are genuine and kind). I found out my skin type was different than what I thought it was and Candance even recommended some great products afterwards. My visit was worth every penny. I can't wait to go back!

June 2021 I have not been to Healing Waters for a while due to COVID restrictions. Yesterday I returned for a long awaited massage. I’m happy to report nothing has changed except for cautious and welcomed Covid safety protocols. Emily’s massage was on target and performed with her pleasant manner. It was good to see Justine at the front desk. Her welcoming smile and greeting reminded me how much I missed being here. No disappointments here… business as usual ✅ …………………………………………… Massage Therapist Emily (and owner) is a seasoned professional. Her knowledge of how the human body functions aids in her ability to zero in how to treat those unexplained pains. I started seeing her after a knee replacement. Her careful and consistent treatment succeeded in getting me back to activities that I had long given up. She knows what she is doing and she does it with a very pleasant manner. Justine at the front desk is just what a business like this needs. She has the pulse of the business and treats customers with genuine pleasure. It is her calling. Her smile is always welcoming. You will not be disappointed coming to this business.

My friends and I hadn't had the chance to treat ourselves in a long time because of the rough covid year(s) so when we finally got a chance to treat ourselves to a hammam and facial. We knew this was our place. Healing waters spa had so many good reviews The, I knew we had to book it. The owner of this place, Emily, is absolutely ???? amazing to chat with and was so supportive of finding the right times and services for us. They even found us someone who knew whyte Ave very well to help us find a great brunch spot after our phenomenal spa date. Candance was phenomenal, did an amazing facial/eyebrow map.for.me and had amazing information for face/beauty and tips. She was so fun to talk to, I felt like I had known her for years. The receptionist was absolutely lovely as well. We felt so lucky to have been given this experience and we/ I recommend anyone to check this place out!!!!

The Massage Was Great... Spent 4 hours there with my friend and we both got the same treatment. Really enjoyed the massage and the facial most of all. Only thing I would change is my friend said her girl kept on trying to upsell her on stuff ... so I think you shouldn't try to do that. makes the experience uncomfortable for her. As the 4 hour experience is already $230.00 tacking on more money should be our option if we ask. So other than that the services were exceptional. I left feeling refreshed with no aches in my shoulders... Everything completely gone. Only thing I felt out of my service is on pedicures i like the "Razor thing" used on bottom of feet to get the yellow stuff off ... lol she only used the sand paper thing to get it off and i prefer the razor gets more of faster and its softer :) so thats the only part of the service I wish I could of changed.

In addition to a very pleasant and relaxing facial and pedicure, I received valuable recommendations on skin and foot care. The facial incorporated some of the changes and I can already see changes. This is a big selling point! Also, I appreciated the educational aspect of the recommendations since I do like to understand the underlying science. All in all, this was an experience that I will very much look forward to repeating.

I can't recommend Healing Waters enough!! The spa itself is charming and has a lovely, warm, and clean atmosphere; it's such a little gem of a place. The staff are so welcoming, courteous, thoughtful, and professional. The owner is SUCH a gem of a not only a massage therapist but also a person. I've been to 10+ massage therapists around the city and wasn't really content with the results of the massages I was getting until I started seeing Emily. She has such deep knowledge and expertise in massage and how the body works and it translates to the absolute best therapeutic massages ever. My body always feels brand new afterwards and I always walk out in such a calm state because of Emily's calmness and warmness. Also worth a note is that the spa does an exceptional job of maintaining and extra clean and sanitized environment and very strictly adheres to covid protocols.

I highly recommend Healing Waters Spa!!! I just had my first manicure in years at this lovely place. My sister had a pedicure at the same time. Candance did a superb job on my nails; my best manicure ever! The hand massage and paraffin treatment left my hands looking and feeling younger and the manicure looked brand new at a function I was attending days later! Valencia did my sister's pedicure which was also excellent. Our service was done in a lovely large room with natural light; very relaxing. I was impressed with how very clean everything is and the staff is very conscientious about covid safety measures. I plan to visit again soon!!!

My fiancé and I treated ourselves to a double hamam and 60 minute massage for Valentine's Day, and we were at a loss for words by the end of our experience. Melissa took great care of me, and gave me the most relaxing scrub of my life! The massage was just as relaxing, and I felt like jello by the end of it. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely be back for another spa day soon.

My first time at this spa was spectacular! I booked a 30min aromatherapy steam (which is in a private room), followed by a 75min renewing pedicure. The staff were friendly, welcoming and it was obvious the cleaning protocols were top notch. I’d highly recommend the private steam room with eucalyptus. It was just what I need for my asthma, as every fall I am plagued by congested lungs in the morning. The pedicure was also amazing. They follow all the latest best practices for safe and hygienic esthetician services. No harsh heel shaving here! The treatment was gentle and relaxing. This spa takes COVID-19 protocols very seriously and I felt very safe the entire visit. I’ll definitely be back.

I've been seeing Emily for regular massages for years now. I'm halfheartedly writing this review because, to be honest, I'd rather keep her all to myself, and I don't want the secret to get out about how good she is. She's THAT good. But because she deserves to be raved about, I will say that she is the sweetest person you'll ever meet and simply amazing at what she does. Her technique is hands down the best I've ever had and I leave feeling like a million bucks every time! She is warm and personable, while being very conscientious and professional. I can't say enough great things about her! She's be BEST!

Recently, I treated myself to the Signature Hammam Treatment and it was DIVINE. I had never heard of this treatment before seeing it pop up on their Instagram page a few weeks ago. I’m glad it sparked my curiosity and inspired me to try something new, because now I’m absolutely hooked!⁣ ⁣ The Hammam, or Turkish steam bath, consists of 4 steps: soak, steam, scrub, and soothe. You can check out the full process on their website, but in short form, you start with a luxurious foot soak before a 30-minute steam bath complete with essential oils of your choice (I chose cypress and jasmine: DIVINE). Then you’re treated to a full-body exfoliation in the private Hammam room followed by a 30-minute full-body warm lotion application. While this is meant to be a relaxation experience, for me it was just as therapeutic as a regular massage. ⁣ ⁣ Altogether, the entire treatment is 90 minutes, and I have never felt so relaxed and rejuvenated! The private Hammam room is beautiful and my practitioner Candance was very skilled and professional at all times. The spa also has all the appropriate COVID measures in place, so I felt entirely safe the entire time. It’s also worth noting that the Hammam is their signature treatment that they’ve practiced for over 16 years since they opened, before expanding into a full-service boutique spa offering waxing, nails, facials, registered massage therapy, and more. And while I’m looking forward to trying some of these additional services in this beautiful space, I know I’m going to keep coming back for the Signature Hammam. ⁣ ⁣ TL;DR: The Signature Hammam at Healing Waters Spa is basically Heaven On Earth. Try it and you will not be disappointed!

I treated myself to the Ultimate Healing at the Waters package for my birthday: four hours for the Hammam experience (foot soak, steam room & full body exfoliation), a massage, and a facial. The staff were welcoming, and they did a great job of putting me at ease and explaining every step of the process. Candance (I hope I spelled that right) did most of my treatments. She is amazing! I felt a bit self-conscious at times, and she made sure I was comfortable with everything. I wish I could remember who did my massage because it really helped ease the pain in my lower back and shoulders. I highly recommend this spa, and I will be returning the next time I need some me time.

I returned for a massage a few days later and was also very pleased. Emily is a fabulous therapist who listened to my concerns and incorporated my input into the experience. This place is amazing! I have had pedicures, manicures, and Brazilian waxes done by Candance, and massages by Emily (regular and prenatal), and have loved all services. Candance is the only one that can put me to sleep during a pedicure massage (so relaxing!) and her efficiency and effectiveness in waxing makes the experience almost painless. Emily really listens to what I need during massages and is an expert on the human body. Justine at the front desk will make you feel welcome and relaxed as soon as you walk in. My mom and I did the double hammam and it was amazing. One of the best spa experiences I have ever had. The staff was incredibly attentive and soothing. Right from the foot soak, the amazing steam to the marble benches, sugar scrub and finally the moisturising at the end. I was so so impressed with this. The thing I love most about this space is that it's cozy and calm feeling - unlike many spas where they jam a bunch of ladies into one large room together. My facial was extremely relaxing, and my skin is glowing and feels great! My instructors couldn't say enough good things about the spa once they left.
