Everything is just amazing here in hammam retreat and spa. I come here for the relax. The sauna relaxation room is just amazing, the spa room was very clean, well maintaimed and relaxing. Service here is perfect. Kelly was very professional, friendly and helpful, she did an amazing and wonderful job. The best part is that at the end of the journey i got served moroccan tea, dates, cookies and water, huda made sure everything is going exaxtly as it should be, its really worth it to come and enjoy after a stressfull day at work Spa facilities over all were fabulous!!!! Love everything here.ill definetly come back and recomend it to my friends. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

The Hamman experience was amazing! Huda and Tasia are welcoming, professional, and provide a service that is second to none. The Spa features beautiful decoration and relaxing treatment rooms with delicious Morrocan tea and snacks. Tasia was our therapist and she did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and provided great tips to address skin concerns. Pure satisfaction and highly recommended!

I thought the staff were very nice and friendly, however I felt quite uncomfortable the entire treatment and when i mentioned I was cold, I was told that was strange and that she couldnt do much about the temperature of the room. The water was hot, just the room was chilly but the person providing treatment was hot so she left it as is. The exfoliation procedure hurt a lot, it was much to rough to relax. Lastly, to pay over $200 for this treatment just did not seem appropriate. For the cost alone, I wont return. I like the idea but this is way overpriced in my opinion.

Was brought here for my birthday, and what a loving experience! Someone bathes and exfoliates you with care. Oddly located in an office building, and somewhat hard to find. The esthetician was very thorough and did a great job, ask for Heidi. Unlike a true hammam, one sits in an dry infra-red sauna to open up the pores rather than a steam room. One leaves feeling very nice and soft which is a great mid-winter treat for the skin ! I'd recommend if you're looking for a treat in Calgary.

This was defiantly an experience, but one I believe everyone should have! I booked through the online system, based off the recommendation of a friend. On the day of my treatment from start to finish it was a great experience. I have never been to a Hammam spa, but if a large MARBLE bed does not scream luxury what does? Hanane performed the Turkish bath treatment and gave me a little history lesson also. The water was the perfect temperature and the exfoliation process was surprisingly relaxing. Not once did I feel like we were on a time crunch (unlike other spas). It was the small things that makes this place worth the trip; tea. treats and the dynamic personalities.

I cannot say enough good things about the Hammam Retreat & Spa. They are a new business bringing the Hammam experience to Calgary and they are doing a great job! They welcome you with tea and dates (very authentic to the Hammam experience) and you proceed with your treatment. They are very professional, caring and are 100% focused on customer experience. Most spas will eat into your treatment time for dressing/previous appointments/etc. Not at the Hammam Retreat & Spa. After your treatment, there is a nice seating area for you to decompress and relax. They are very patient and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and they sell some local products at the front as well. Highly recommend the Hammam Retreat & Spa here in Calgary. I will be back again soon!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Huda & Kelly are great! I received the Moroccan hamam and Kelly was amazing. She made sure the water was at perfect temperature and she exfoliated so well leaving my skin so smooth and rejuvenated. The experience is very relaxing and soothing.Very welcoming and kind ladies! I enjoyed every minute. If you're looking for an amazing spa treatment you MUST come here! I'll definitely be coming back ! Also, there's free 2 hr indigo parking at the front of the building ! :D

Hands down amazing. I've had exfoliating treatments and massages before but nothing compares to a Moroccan bath. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and super charismatic. My sister and I really enjoyed a relaxing experience. Definetely must go back! Hammam is a must!! Hanane is great and she made me feel like I was transported to Morocco! Cheryl the massage therapist was very good and knowledgeable. My sister was very impressed that she was able to pin point her problem areas and help her fix it.

The location was a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in Heritage Square with no free parking. Because I had some difficulties finding the spa, I was on the phone with the owner while I was parking. I asked her specifically if I needed to pay for parking. She told me to check the machines and if the machines do not work then parking is free. The machines did not work so I walked to the appointment without paying. That was false information. She should have said that she did not know because when I came back out, after the treatment, I found an $85 ticket on my dashboard. What kind of spa does not provide parking when their offered treatments are listed at over $100 each? Do not recommend this place and will not return.

Best procedure for Calgary dryness! Left my dead skin today and and came home with a breathing like new skin. Glowing as I got a facial too, which was a delightful procedure. Crowned my staying by enjoying a Morrocan green tea with mint. If you got convinced to call Hooda, that means you love your body, and deserve this special treat. I’m going back in one month!

Today I had my first Moroccan Spa treatment. Although not your typical spa goer, I’m not new to the spa scene, but this was a departure for me, not so much for what was done, but where and how it was done. It was like stepping back in time. First off, the location is so pleasant. It's in an office complex on Macleod Trail but the centre of the atrium is a garden with trees, plants and waterfalls. Very tranquil before you even get into Hammam Retreat. I was quietly taken back to a change room, where I changed into my board shorts, given a wrap and robe and then shown to the dry sauna for 10 minutes. From there I was taken to a dimly lit room, quiet music and a warm marble slab table. Modesty is important at this spa and I’m sure appreciated not only by clients but staff too. My treatment provider, and sorry, I forgot her name as I was so relaxed, was very good. She explained each step of the multi-step process and made sure I was comfortable. Each step, from the soap wash, exfoliating scrub, and clay treatment came with a hot water hand rinse. No shower head here. Hot bowls of water hand poured and I believe from copper bowls, were used between each step, ending with a Moroccan Oil treatment. Once the treatment was completed, I was able to relax in a tented area on a recliner with some Moroccan tea, some cookies and dried figs. There was no rush to getting dried, clothed and out of there. That was all on my own time and very relaxed. I highly recommend Hammam Retreat and Spa and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I was looking for hammam in Calgary for quiet a while and finally we got few spots to go. I was a bit suspicious, but now I can say that you should go no doubt! Quite facility in the Heritage building, owned by lovely lady, you can meet her at the reception there. Firtst you start with infrared sauna to warm up your skin and open pores, the the hammam lady will pick you up and invite you to the main room where you get you best skin cleanse experience. I did my last ones in Turkey, so I decided to try Marrakesh. It's 75 min long, she's using natural lufa, black soap, clay, argan oil, my pores never look so clean even after regular facials. And she is always careful, askin hows the water feels, or if it s okay to touch your face, or if the towel is too hot. Lovely! Worth to try at least once in your life. The owner was so cute to fit me in, I was in rush before my vacation, and I wasnt able to book through the website, she called me back and offered another option, which Im very grateful for!

I have been to a few spa's before, but this was my first time trying Hammam, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in we were treated with warm smiles and amazing staff members. The receptionist Asma was very informative in explaining the beauty and benefits of the Turkish bath. The exfoliation and rejuvenation process performed through the Turkish bath was definitely a worthwhile experience, Hanane was great. The massage was amazing too. We felt super relaxed after the whole process (also slept like a baby afterwards). If you haven't tried Turkish bath, then this is a must, it's a fantastic way to unwind and relax. I would go back again, and I gurantee you would too, once you give it a try.

This place is like a little oasis in the midst of Calgary winter. I've experienced Hammams in the UAE and it is so nice to have that same experience right here in Calgary. Huda and Kelly make your experience so relaxing and comfortable, and not to mention, the actually moroccan bath I had left my skin feeling so smooth and clean. I loved the touch at the end of your bath where you relax in a tent with some delicious tea, biscuits and yummy dates! It is such a luxurious and relaxing experience. I highly recommend!!!

I'd honestly recommend Hammam Retreat & Spa to anyone! The service is impossible to beat, you're made to feel completely comfortable and at home. More importantly, the results are perfect! I can't believe how different my skin looks and feels. I came to Calgary from Edmonton for my birthday weekend. I'd been looking for a Turkish Bath / Hammam gommage treatment in Edmonton, but wasn't sold on any locations. I looked for one in Calgary hoping to find a suitable place, and I found it. I called on Saturday - being last minute I thought I'd have better luck this way. To my surprise, the Hammam specialist agreed to stay later than their posted hours just to take me in! I was greeted by a lovely lady (I believe she's either a manager or the owner) and she walked me to a room with a dry sauna where I could change and wait for Hanane, the specialist. It says a lot about a business when you see a manager/ owner actually in the workplace. Not only that - she stayed late, provided service with a smile, and made my boyfriend & I feel super welcome. The Turkish Bath treatment was absolutely incredible, my skin has never been this soft and silky!! I'd especially recommend this treatment to anyone with Keratosis Pilaris (KP) because of the deep exfoliating benefits. I have KP and nothing has given me results like this, I'll definitely be back! Never had a spa experience like this - please expand to Edmonton & bring the staff with you!

What a truly unique spa in the heart of Calgary. I feel like I travelled to Morroco, enjoyed a blissful hour, and had to return to our frozen tundra. But what an hour!! The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The sauna brought my frozen bones to thaw, and then the ritual of the Hammam.. How come we have not heard of this before??!?? I feel like I am completely void of all my dead skin cells, completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The treats, tea and water in the lounge was the perfect completion to my hour of sanctuary. Thank you so much for bringing this phenomenal therapy and ritual to our city. Will return as soon as humanly possible!!

Not the best but not the worst either. I got a massage from this Spa and it was well done. My therapist had the right pressure and I left feeling good. Sadly there are downfalls. My therapist didn't knock on the door and I haven't gotten under the sheets when she opened the door (wide open too). Luckily noone else saw but I didn't appreciate that. I had a coupon for 20% off and they tried to charge me full price. Last but not least. I was expecting this place to have a morrocan/turkish vibe but all it had was a huge medical feel. By the pictures that I saw and the look of their website. I was hoping for that and didn't see anything like it.

I very much enjoyed a Moroccan Bath experience, which included gentle massage with clay and black soap (highly moisturizing), skin exfoliation and copious amounts of deliciously warm water poured over the body at frequent intervals. After an oregano oil rubdown, I went into a beautifully set up room where I sipped mint tea and nibbled on dates and biscuits while reclined in a chaise longue. My skin felt invigorated but soft. Lovely, caring staff . Definitely a worthwhile gift for the skin and a most relaxing time!

Great place! I wanted to try something different this week and went for a Turkish Hammam. I didn't know what to expect and everything was great. Dilek was the sweetest and made me feel very comfortable. After all, you are half naked so that is a must !! The owner (didn't catch you name! Sorry) was also super friendly and welcoming. Only thing I would suggest is the put the "relaxation tent" at the back where it is more quiet but other than that it's a great little spa and also the atrium is very peaceful and sets the mood nicely before entering ! 2 thumbs up! :)

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Ocean is amazing. Very friendly, professional, attentive and gives you exactly what you want (pressure, area of focus etc). She recommended cups which initially felt weird but ended up freeing up a lot of tension. I highly recommend them. Compared to the Banff Springs, this place is significantly better for both the quality of massage and value for your money. Very clean and neat. All staff were wonderful and made me feel right at home. If you park within the big London drugs lot and don’t mind a short walk, paying for parking isn’t an issue.

So I have been to many hamams and I gave this a 2 star since for the price you can get so much more first of dont get me wrong the customer service was great. But let's go in detail parking not free not thier fault but they need to disclose it second location needs to be notified or directed in a mall. Those are little things but the service compared to others places that I tried is the main reason of the low rating but not to say they are new. So usually u start out getting changed it.was clear this is a new and small place since no change rooms was just the end of the hallway and a curtain im a man so im ok but incase for ladies. Also no pool or jacuzzi or hot tub so u start with a steam session or steam room the room I went into had a mini wood steam room that fits only 2 adults it was working but not hot or steamy enough. It was like a portable steam room. Then we go to the hammam which room was cold but I guess I never asked for it to be warmer the pillow or head rest was just a single towel so very hard and sturdy. The other issue I saw was yes it traditional to pour but I guess the lady was using 2 jugs so had to fill back and forth. I just felt for the price was not worth it

I have experienced a wide variety of spa treatments in my life but nothing like the Moroccan Bath. The whole treatment was absolutely amazing. I felt relaxed from the moment I walked in. And the lounge and tea afterwards was the topping on the cake. My body felt so amazing afterwards as well and my skin had never been so smooth. I can’t wait to go back again.

I don't think there is enough stars I can put to rate my experience..I loved this place..I'm a flight attentand who travels for a living and have had many massages and visited diffrent types of spas around the world , this is by far the most unique experience I ever had.. I had lovely staff member greet me with the warmest welcome during my layover on this -30°c day, that alone was a sight for soar eyes. From start to finish it was amazing..the Morrocan Bath is a definite must TRY.. I guarantee you will love it..Hanane is AMAZINGLY knowledgable, friendly and will explain every step of the process...I recommend this establishment a 1000% ❤
