One of my favorite places in Calgary to relax with friends or family. The place has two different saunas, showers, changing rooms, a big room where you can just chill with your friends or celebrate a birthday or any other event. The price is very reasonable and can be divided between all friends. They even have a great karaoke system which was a surprize. The place is super clean and quiet, and the staff is very friendly and caring. I loved the possibility to reserve the whole place just for us :) I would definitely come back there again and recommend to all my friends. Just love it!

Very nice and clean space. Real traditional Russian Banya here in Calgary. Very recommended for families. You can bring your own stuff such as scrubs and essential oils or purchase here. Oak and Birch leaves are incredible, it was a good new experience. The owner will show you everything around and gives you a good explanation. I will come back for sure! 5 stars!

Excellent experience. Had a very much needed relaxation outing and left feeling completely reset and relaxed. If you’ve never had a real good steam and then dumped a bucket of cold water on yourself, you haven’t really lived! The owner is the perfect amount of helpful too. What a hidden gem! Seriously folks, go check it out, there's nothing else like it in Calgary. It's great for groups of friends to hang out and relax together. There is a large room with music, massage chairs and a big ol comfy couch to hang out in while you cool down from the spa area. The spa area has a dry sauna, steam sauna and two cedar buckets full of cold water to drench yourselves in after the sauanas. When we were there, we just rotated from the saunas to the chill out area and had such a relaxing time. The whole space is booked for your group so there's total privacy in there. The owner Ilya is so nice as well and has a variety of add on to enhance your experience such as essential oils, eucalyptus branches, plus an assortment of drinks. The price was very reasonable as well! We had 8 people there for just under 3 hours and it came to roughly $20/pp. Just go!

What a great experience. I've never done a private spa. You get the whole space to yourself (saunas, cold shock buckets, showers and common area with TV, couch and massage chair). The place was clean and the owner was wonderful. I will be back, and I'm going to call in advance and pre-order the oak leaves.

No wonder there aren't any bad reviews here. To see a place that has been reviewed so many times not have bad reviews really speaks volumes. My Russian friends would always come here and I was always reluctant to try.. Now I can say for sure that the Russian Banya is probably my favourite social outing in the city. Would rather go here than the club or the bar you can bring your own snacks etc, the owner is very flexible. Out of all the Banyas in the city all my friends say this one is the best and the owner is a big part of that.

If you want to try something new with friends. This is the place! It's a cool place to just hang out with some friends. They let you bring in your own food and drinks. They have a private chill area with a couch/TV, table for food, massage chair. And of course they have the main thing you came for which is the wet and dry sauna. Nothing better than sitting in a sauna to get a good sweat on. They also have some cold water bucket showers to cool off with (Russian style). Pull on the rope to pour the water down on you. Overall, I had a great experience here.

First time trying it and we are so impressed by the many activities we can do inside. We got to the wet and dry sauna first and cooled off with the cold bucket thingy that you can pull down. We spent our remaining time singing karaoke and relaxing on the massage chair. The gentleman (Ilia) was kind enough to help us out when we need anything. Will definitely recommend to everyone! We booked a three-hour private slot, and had a fantastic time utilizing both Russian style and Hammam style saunas, as well as the comfortable sitting area with great karaoke equipment. Iliya is an amazingly friendly host, who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have the best experience ever. The place is top-notch clean, aesthetically pleasant and it is designed in a way that the most privacy is provided for the guests. There is an icy cold water, as well as hot water thermos with variety of tea and honey provided complimentary for the guests. We truly enjoyed our time at the Aquarius Spa and will be booking again. My fiance brought me here as a surprise for my birthday and it was a nice relaxing experience. The place was clean and all to ourselves, karaoke, sound machine, lights, music, all controlled by you and as loud as you want. There is a sauna and steam room which is relaxing, a few showers and an ice water bucket. The bucket was actually really nice after the steam room. Theres also a full-control massage chair. Its a great place for any event or even a small party. Will definitely be coming back!

What a gem! I brought my mom, mother- and sister-in-laws here for a fun outing on Friday night. The whole place was reserved for us at a very reasonable price. The facility has 2 change rooms, restrooms, a relaxation room with couches, games, music, a table to eat at, and tea. There’s 2 little saunas - wet and dry, cold bucket for after the sauna and showers. You can purchase sauna hats, branches and oils at the front. We brought in our own snacks, masks and scrubs. The place was clean and comfortable and was a great way to relax after a long drive into Calgary! The owner Ilya is really helpful and friendly. Our guests had never been to a Banya before and he helped make them feel more comfortable trying a new experience. Would return next time we’re in Calgary!

I went to the Banya for the first time. The complimentary drinks are a nice touch! It was a wonderful way to relax and unwind especially after working. The staff were extremely friendly and were happy to show me around as well as providing towels and robes! They made the experience as stress free as it could be! I would recommend this experience to any of those looking to try something new or trying to find a way to unwind from stress.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Aquarius Spas facility and staff were upon my visit. From the moment we walked in, we received the most genuine hospitality and service from ilya, who was so kind and helpful to show us the layout and functions of the facility. I have lived in Calgary all my life, and have never been to a steam room with such luxurious amenities and service. Ask for Ilya and he will show you the same amazing treatment!

I went with friends today for the first time. It exceeded my expectations It was a lovely and relaxing afternoon The banya was clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. And it was excellent value. The cold buckets were fabulous and invigorating. I can't wait to go back.
