The service was impeccable. I called in the afternoon to book a 60minute massage and got right in within half an hour. I asked via email and they got back to me. The massage was beyond what I expected and I came out of there really relaxed. The place was clean and I was offered a glass of water with lemon as soon as I came in. Short and sweet :)

This spa is absolutely fabulous. My mother and I go here twice a year for a day package - an absolutely incredible price for hours worth of fantastic relaxation. Their treatments are all wonderful, we have never had any problems and the owner is so sweet and friendly. I would agree the rooms could use a little more soundproofing, but I only occasionally notice the sound. Wonderful place!!

I had the most amazing experience at Ahava Day Spa. I went in for the "Head to toe" spa package for my birthday and as soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by the receptionist and a few of the girls that were at the front. Ashley( my first therapist) was warm and super friendly. She took care of my facial and pedicure and I loved her work. Then I had lunch. My roasted vegetable salad was a nice, tasty treat along with my espresso cupcake. After which, I went in for a sugar scrub( which was swapped out because I'm pregnant and couldn't have the "mud wrap" done) done by the amazing Chelsea..lol. I appreciated how they re-arranged the package to suit my condition. Chelsea was warm, super friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Then, to top off my day, I had a 40 minutes massage. My whole day was completely made. Thank you Ahava Day Spa, I will definitely be back with my friends for a "girls-spa-day-out. "

Not impressed. Requested a seasoned esthetician but my day spa services fell short. I booked an afternoon of services(massage, pedi and facial) but my facial was rushed through and was poorly done. My face was barley touched and was not relaxing. I was injured by on the esthetician tools in my pedicure and blamed for not saying something sooner...the massage was ok but I could hear everything outside the room. Overall not a great experience in terms of ambiance and services.

Received a spa day as a gift a few months back, but was delayed due to Covid. They take everyone’s safety extremely seriously and make sure you feel comfortable the second you walk in. The communication during booking was fantastic, and all the staff are super friendly and they all go out of their way to give a great experience. The spa was quiet, calm, clean. I had the best massage I have ever received, and enjoyed my other treatments a lot, including the mud wrap and paraffin wax. I purchased a spa day for my best friend and again the communication and service was phenomenal.

I had a lovely mani/pedi here recently at the advice of my daughter, who goes there regularly. The view overlooking the park is just beautiful in the evening. I'm not one to go to spas, so I really don't have much to compare it too...but this place is so clean, so cozy, and so relaxing. If it wasn't for the delightful chat with the girl that did my toes, I'm sure I would have fallen asleep. I will definitely be back, I'm sure the view will be lovely when the snow is falling. It was a great way to end the work week. eta: just wanted to say I've been back since then, and the second visit was as lovely as the first :D

Ahava was very lovely, the space is beautiful, I loved the fact that the owner decorated herself, it shows in the character of the space. The aestician who did my mud wrap and facial was so sweet and calm, she listened to me yammer a little and was extremely gentle and thorough. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is exceptional. I would recommend coming here if you're looking to treat yourself or a loved one to a little TLC. When I'm in need again I'll be going back for sure.

In my first visit for a massage therapy session, I was very disappointed. My therapist was a lady who was just playing around to kill the time, and after the session I though I won't go back to her. I just went there again and took a session with a gentleman called Paul (someone referred him), He's AMAZING! He knows all your muscles, puts right amount of pressure, doesn't kill the time at all and works with passion! I'm feeling much better after the session. I highly recommend Paul if you ever consider getting a massage there. I will definitely go back to him and already recommended him to all of my friends!

This was my first time ever going to a spa. My husband booked me surprise spa day for my birthday. The women here were incredibly professional and super nice. I had Ashley and Chelsea (I'm so sorry if I spelled your names wrong!) As a plus size woman I've always been uncomfortable going to a spa. I didn't want to be the big woman who can't fit onto tables or into robes. This spa had 4xl robes and there tables were nice and wide. The ladies did not make me feel or treat me any differently because I was plus size. I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. I had a facial, pedicure, mud wrap and a massage...oh and lunch! I will be back for sure! Thank you so much ahava!

I could not believe the value I got for my 3-4 hour stay which would have been way more in Toronto where I have lives from 2010 to 2019. If you are a looking for a SPA day it is worth it!

As usual the pictures look much better than what is actually here. Not a very relaxing or spa like feel when you can hear every thing the staff is doing (talking loudly, laughing, etc) in any adjacent rooms. Unable to fully relax because of the thin walls. The "meal" was barely edible and the staff disregarded our comments about it. The esthetician was good, massage therapist was good. One of our party was unable to show due to a family emergency and the policy here is to charge the others in the party for the no-shows full service as if they were there. They refunded 1/4 of the price (for the no show) after negotiation, however we still had to pay almost $200. Overall, I would give the girls that did the work 4 stars but the rest of the staff and location a 1 star. Will never be back. Was quite surprised to hear how long they had been open based off of my own experience. I quite honestly can't believe any of the positive reviews being legitimate based off of our terrible experience. I've added a picture of what the beds and bedding look like that you lay in for the facial. Trust me, avoid this place at any cost.

I went to Ahava today for a little spa day courtesy of my lovely husband , I was very happy with my experience here, EVERYONE I met was very friendly and accommodating, I got the girls day out package which included A 60 MIN massage , pedicure , and manicure, I was unable to get the manicure so they switched in a facial instead which I LOVED! very cute business, I will back for sure. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Absolutely amazing. Chelsea was exceptional with the massage. Afterwards they took time to provide some additional exercises to help strengthen my shoulder and lower back muscles. It was unexpected and most welcomed. I hope to visit again. Thank you Chelsea and the Ahava team.

The spa is always clean, they have good health protocols in place, they're very friendly and like getting to know their clients and what they're interested in. I highly recommend RMT Dusti whose hands are magic! Once we got to know the right amount of pressure it was very therapeutic and helped my chronic back pain. I also had a pedicure here once and it was good, too.

The people are wonderful, the services have never disappointed and we always feel great when we are leaving. They are the only spa I've found that offers a "Spa Day" package that feels like a full day. To top it off there is convenient parking right next to the building.

After seeing all the great reviews on google, I decided to buy my girlfriend a spa package for her birthday. Unfortunately, her experience was anything but relaxing. Surprisingly, Ahava did not even book what was listed on the gift certificate. What was supposed to be a 5 hour day at the spa turned out to be 3 hours because of Ahava's inability to coordinate their bookings. My girlfriend did not get the 60 minute massage that I paid for. Okay so everyone makes mistakes but that's not the only negative to her experience. My girlfriend's friend also booked through Ahava Spa and they were supposed to have a spa day together. You would think Ahava Spa would try to coordinate the two bookings together so my girlfriend could spend part of her experience with her friend at the spa but that didn't happen. The only positive she could speak to was that her custom facial was good and the lady doing my girlfriend's manicure and pedicure tried her best to fit in what was missed on the gift certificate. Through my girlfriend's words, the whole experience felt like a discount spa you would buy from Groupon instead of a high end spa. Parking is terrible, and the spa itself is cramped. The service felt rushed and it seemed like they were in a hurry to get you out so they can get the next person in. Her friend was able to get a massage but it was the worst massage she's had as the masseuse apparently "half assed" it by not applying much pressure. The lunch provided was subpar as the steak, potatoes and veggies were cold. Maybe it was just an off day for Ahava Day Spa but it totally ruined my girlfriend and her friend's experience. My girlfriend still has credit with Ahava since they didn't provide her with all of the services I paid for but she's deciding whether she even wants to book another appointment with this spa.

Was here with a friend today...for a whole day nonetheless!! :) Cannot say enough how much I LOVE this spa. The staff was so friendly, professional and so darn good at what they do! My massage was amazing; my skin I don't think has ever felt this soft and my toes are sparkling. A very warm, cozy, happy atmosphere and definitely a place I will be frequenting more often. My new spa for sure - thanks ladies!

I returned to Edmonton after a number of years and live in the core - so I wanted to try out this spa. I was looking forward to it. I was not impressed though. I found it very expensive for what it was. First of all, the location was on the second floor of an old building - so it had low ceilings and felt like you were in someone's apartment. Front staff were not very welcoming (2 of us booked a full spa day.). They were not dressed professionally and spoke alittle unprofesionally eg Want water? ...How 'bout you? That would have been an opportunity to personalize our visit by using our names, and perhaps not use slang. Hallways were narrow. When getting services done, I noticed the ceilings were yellowed from water damage perhaps. They tried to play music on a speaker system but you can still hear staff talking outside clearly. It was the most strange spa I have ever been to. The bathrooms had handmade towels - like patchwork. Kinda tacky. Same with the sheets for the beds - they were cotton home made with panda design. It was so strange. We each had a massage, pedicure, facial, and a scrub and mud wrap. I would not recommend the scrub - they just added exfoliant to the mud and do not scrub your skin for you. Moreover, at the end, it was a nice gesture they gave each of us a gift bag - but with - you guessed it, more homemade home-sewn non-medical masks and homemade makeup removers etc. This is all cute if you are into that sort of thing, but the price point does not reflect the quality of the spa and the services. Stick to the other spas in the city I would even say the franchises are better than this one. Or the hotel ones, or the ones in the mountains. This one made me cringe.

Totally disappointed. Booked a day for my husband and myself over two weeks ago. The plan was massages, manicure and pedicure for my husbands birthday. One day before the appointment, the spa called to confirm our appointments. I confirmed the appointments with the receptionist over the telephone. At 4:38, I received a missed call and voicemail from the spa. I received the voicemail in the later part of the evening. The voicemail was notifying me that one massage therapist called in sick and there would be a male replacing her and to call if I could. There was no mention of business hours or the fact that if I didn’t call my massage appointments would be given away. My husband and I got to the spa for our appointments where we were greeted and notified that our massage appointments were given away due to the fact I didn’t call. When booking the appointments, the lady asked if there was a preference for massage therapists where I replied no, whoever is available. It was extremely disappointing to book time off work, arrange a babysitter to arrive to appointments that were no longer ours. We continued with our pedicures and manicures that were subpar. My toe was cut and my nails appeared as if a child painted the nails. The spa did give a 60 minutes couples massage gift card as an apology however I am very reluctant to take the time out of my schedule to book again. In addition to taking the time off work and arranging a babysitter, we are expecting a newborn in the next few months.

It was exactly what I needed and I'll definately be coming back. There are some bad reviews about the lunch. I guess they recently changed caterers. My sandwhich and dessert just felt like a bonus. The dessert was especially delicious. All the other spas in the city I checked out didnt provide a lunch so I felt i was was treated very well.

The actual relaxation part was great and they did a good job on the massage, facial and pedicure. I had to take off a star because the meal was a huge let down ... They brought me a huge plate filled with super dry quinoa, and a few little pieces of chicken with it just not very good. For dessert there was a chocolate mousse but it was so incredibly thick and sugary it tasted like straight icing ... Couldnt eat it. If they could do some upgrading on the meal i would consider coming back but i definitely wont order the package again. Meal was a huge let down. Maybe just singularly a massage or facial next time.
