Friendly staff. Easy time selling a vehicle at a very fair price!!
Great place for cheap parts
So on 11/27/20 I went into East Bethal location to go get a radiator for my truck, now I've done this before in the past and there has been no coolant in the vehicle so I cut it without thinking. I had about a second between cutting the hose and realizing that there was coolant coming at my face, now my first instinct was to fling my now coolant soaked face back and had the back of my head greeted by the barrel of a wheel, but hey I still got my radiator I guess.
It's a salvage yard where you can pull parts off the salvage vehicles or purchase parts that are listed in their inventory.
Good place to find parts for common vehicles but if you dont have a common vehicle you have to be lucky. There is also a group of people that spend all morning every single day taking the best parts off of the newest cars that enter the lot so they can sell them online.
Great parts selection, great prices!
Kind of high priced for a junk yard but easy and very convenient pulling
Great place for used parts
Always satisfied with U Pull R parts
Great place to get bargain cheap auto parts and gain experience! Friendly, helpful staff and lots of vehicles on the lot. You're almost guaranteed to find the right parts for your car. I shop here all the time and do my own repairs and it saves a ton of money.
It was a great experience for a scrap yard except for the guy at the register broke one of my items but it was kind enough to give it for free so I can repair it.
Is a great yard you can find what do you need
Great service, even better prices. I Never leave without parts
Great place to get parts for DIY projects on your cars and trucks
Pay $2 to get in but never know if they have your part so you lose your money regardless if you do or dont
New owners raised prices of things, decent other than that.
Couldn't find everything I was looking for that I expected to fly text before you go
find almost all car models and parts are not very expensive the staff is friendly.
Nice people. Good service. Had what I needed. In and out with my part!
I think it was super fun going through and taking the parts off the cars I need. Definitely want to go back
As usual this place came through in the clutch! It was my first time visiting since like 2000 and they didn't disappoint. The yard still looked the same and they had cars for days that I could pick from. If you are looking for a part and have the tools and knowledge enough to take them off of an old car I swear you can't do any better but to go here!
This is a great business concept! They buy junkers and Crashers, and then you pull the parts you need!
Great deals, it's like looking for treasure!
Very clean well organized
U pull is a great place for parts. You can see their inventory online to check if your car is there. Unfortunately a lot of dash parts are picked out right away. I never see them for sale anywhere. There must be a lot of messed up dashes around lol
Always find what I'm looking for. The staff is always happy to help. We just got wrong part the other day we were allowed to come back with part and get new one . We just had to pay entry fee again of 2.00 .we been coming here for about 16years now.
very helpful and tell you what row the car is in so you don't have to just wander around looking for a certain car
Nice clean yard easy to find vehicles
Great prices, helpful service, slick experience all together.
The place needs to be cleaned. Food under supposedly clean trays is disgustimg
I need a specific part for a car, I went in to U Pull, I got a 15% discount coming in for the first time. I had to get a wheelbarrow at the entrance to get any part I pulled. Customer friendly place and their yard are well arranged.
Relaxed atmosphere, great prices and excellent selection. What more could you ask for from a junkyard?
Good selection of parts
Good place..just get in before the lot lizards salvage all the valuable items.
Friendly, convenient cheaper then having to get individually a little on the warm side but that's ok got ablot done in a little time. Wish they had a few more selections at this location would have made my 1 stop shop
To easy. Go to their website. See if they have the car you want. Come, pull your parts. Simple.
They are pretty well organized the way they catalogue their inventory. I found several cars that had what I needed (a rear hatch window) and was able to easily remove the part. Price was very good.
Why car have no whel?
I think it's a great place to buy used Car or truck parts for older vehicles You definitely save money!
It was okay due to the prices it could be better just a single price but it verys thank you you pull are part #
It was alright until I got letgo they need better hr manegment I loved my team though
U pall r parts is very good
Nice place to find any part for the cars
I have been here 3 times to date. I normally go here for GM specific stuff. Could not be more happy! Building a project car and have needed stuff like clean rear bumper, bigger fuel injectors, dash assembly, wire harness, etc. I have saved tons of money on great items. Thanks!!
The employees there were more than friendly and willing to answer questions if I had any.
Large and excellent selection of automobiles to get parts from. Great prices and friendly staff, this place is a perfect option for finding spare parts for projects or fixes.
Good cheap place for car parts.
Great place to pull parts.
The low low for parts 3 fee to get in the yard
Don't count on getting tires.. as most of them have been removed and only junk is left.
Cheap and new stocks gone quickly..so check it out quickly...don't wait...
So I have been to U Pull R Parts in the past to buy those little clips that hold your visor in place in the past. I went on a weekday because I had the day off and it wasn't busy. Just like others, it was very very hard for me to even find the type of car that I have. No one was there to help me find it. After searching, I found them eventually. I was so surprised how picked over the cars were. There was not much left at all but the body of the car. Luckily I was able to find one that had the clips. I took a pair up to the front and the lady that was working said "Oh that’s all you wanted. Just go ahead and take them." So that was nice. TODAY I called to see if I could bring in an old car that we don't use to get a little cash. (hoping for $100) When they answered the phone they asked if I could hold "could you hold please?" and before I could even respond or think, I was on hold. WOW. Then when a man answered I asked him about bringing in the car and he told me in an impolite way that the "buyers" are only there from Monday through Friday. Ok.... So I asked what he thought I could expect or what they can give and he said that the buyers are only there from Monday through Friday and hung up. REALLY. All I was looking for was just a ballpark. $5 or $10,000. I would have been happy with him saying "Well, it all depends and usually a running car that needs to be junked would be anywhere from $50-$200 based on shape, but it really needs to be brought in so we could figure out what it is worth." I am a dad who takes pride in my kids being polite and always using please and thank you's. If I ever find out they acted the way this man did, they would be in so much trouble even if they were 40 years old. I don't care who you are, just be polite. AND never hang the phone up on a potential client. The only time I will ever go back to this business is if I need a part like I did in the past. It will have to be for a common vehicle that is at least 10 years old and not to expect them having the part or any respect from the workers. I will never do business with them for any other reason. I cannot believe they treat people this way.
Love this place, only wish they would add pics of their cars and trucks on the website inventory list.
Good ol yankit university coming to the rescue again
owner was completely rude. staff is good. wouldnt recommend it to anyone!!
Good fast service if you need a vehicle picked up
Update: With my things coming up missing, Dave went the extra mile to listen to my side and come up with something since I had some issue with the while situated. He went out of his way to make me up and safety road side kit. It might not have been everything that was missing but he sure came close. And I thanked him several time for all he done to fix the situation. The staff are thieves because my belongings were missing when I came to get my items out of my belongings out. No one wants to be held responsible for it.
Awesome service! Great prices! Can't beat it! Happy every time i go there.
Greatest Price. PERIOD
Very easy to sell ur vehicle just not on weekends no car buyers available
Took a while to find the right part we got it price was right
I will never come here again I came from Wisconsin too get 1 tire the tire was bad so the employee told me too throw it away there is nothing they can do that was the only size they had so basically drove from Wisconsin too Rosemount too give pull it parts free money
Great price for used parts
Just love it for car parts
Easy to do .. lots to look at
Pretty straight forward. I like that you can use their website to find the vehicles you need while on site.
Great place to yank your own parts and inspect it, Before you yank it.
Only problem I had they said it was East Bethel but I had to come to Rosemont but great customer service
Ok
More fun than an amusement park
Pretty big yard, scummy return policy. Purchased rim and tire of size for Acura to replace tire I blew (I wanted to just use it as a new full-size spare), that was in front of an Acura in the yard. Right diameter, tire size, and looked like Acura style, to me. They will not accept a return 3 days later with receipt (it's a Ford rim-and I even cleaned the thing up). While it's my fault, they took $25 from me for nothing. The message is "You need them more than they need you."
Good. Fair prices. I found exactly what I needed
Had a couple Ford Rangers I could get parts off of. Couldn't ask for a better place to get parts.
Went in with great customer service! Yard is clean and organized!
First time there. The employees bend over backwards to help you out. I found many of what I needed. And they gave me a slip showing me where the vehicles were with my part. Great Place.
Idk, part pulling is pretty cool
Like this place. Found what we needed in the bone yard. Will keep checking to see if they have anything else for the cars. Just be careful on the person you get for pricing stuff out. Sometimes they go over what they originally might asking for it. So do your homework first before going there.
I like the new row stickers. Very easy to find the cars I needed.
Absolutely amazing!
They are a good place to find used auto parts. The only negative things that i have to say about them is that prices that they charge are a little high, in my opinion. And I cannot seem to find a plastic belly pan / splash shield for my car. The management must have them removed in the process of putting the cars on blocks.
I don't think I have ever left this place unhappy. They pretty much have to kick me out. I would sleep there if I could.????????????????????
Don't plan on your trip here being quick since finding the right car can take some time. The selection is pretty good and the prices are as well. It's a goldmine for Honda parts.
Its really nice to get car part and easy
Best place to go for auto parts
When I need a hard to find part for my old truck I visit U Pull R Parts. Online inventory to check for what I need! Parts r cheap, Staff is friendly.
Awesome experience. Got what I needed at a fraction of the cost buying new!
Ever seen a plane graveyard... This is a car graveyard.. Except that the bodies are all being picked over by vultures.. It is sort of depressing but it super useful and cool that you can get your own parts.. But it is still sad????
Great selection of vehicles, friendly service
The first time I found my cars make and model in the same color some great staff and then some not so great staff overall good stop today tho
Brought my tools, pulled a ton of parts, got help from a friendly fellow customer, paid a great low price. Its a junkyard, not a hotel, so my expectations were low going in, but everything worked out in the end.
I have purchased a few different refurbished car batteries from the rosemount store and at least 2 have been bad they go dead after the month refund has passed and dont last more than a few months. Just ran into that problem again... purchased one about aug. 10th it went dead in less than a week i was able to exchange it for one i thought worked but now it is dead as well and U pull kept the same sale date as the original one i bought like aug. 10th found out the replacement is dead now too. So either they are not recharging these correctly or only partially refurbishing them so they hold a charge for a short time or something but seems fishy to Me. Guess buying brand new is better.
Great there. People are always nice and as long as you know what your doing I'm sure you'll find what you need. It might be an adventure finding it tho lol!
Great service and prices
Its a good place to find what u need x ur car
Hard time finding car we needed at first. Good price if you know how to take parts off yourself.
It was a disaster junk cars everywhere. It was perfect.
I work on cars it has parts and I got a free water cause it was hot outside totally cool.
Love this place I wish I would of known about it sooner, you pay pennies on the dollar for parts here, I have bought brake pads, control arms, alternators, tires, drums, wheel bearings, etc. The used parts are just as good as some new parts depending on where you pull it from. The staff is great too, Jared and Mike provide awesome customer service. I will be a customer for life.
Need a part for your everyday driver? Want to remove it yourself? This is the place.
This place is great- cheap and you get your hands dirty. This is what yards were like when I was younger - it aint Target, it's a junkyard folks.
Never have a problem. Fun friendly staff.
It's an awesome place to give you a pretty reasonable price on used parts I'd recommend it to anybody....
Staff is friendly the parts are very reasonable especially if you don't mind getting dirty call ahead to see if they have the vehicle that you're looking for so you don't go there wandering aimlessly.
There system said they had the truck and part I drove 40min there and back twice to find out the part was worng
The parking lot they have has been the best parking lot ive been to.
Good place to find used vehicle parts. Batteries and antifreeze. They also buy broken vehicles
Good parts but didn't have our car.
Very easy to do business with them.
They bought my old truck. I was in and out in 10 minutes.
What are the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Did you know who helped me at the counter was probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met and this was on a 90-degree day. Staff offered to loan me tools if I needed anything and I couldn't beat the pricing it was cheaper than $30 from what I was quoted at other similar businesses in the Twin Cities area
Everything I need to get my vehicles up and running Helpful staff and cheap cheap cheap
called during last hour of operation and keep getting put on hold until closing time, Google search showed they were open and he live update said they weren't busy, guess someone else gets my junker and business
I love this place you can walk around and pull your own parts
You can find what your looking for!
For the DIY car guy this place is heaven. They have a great staff and their prices are awesome! Keep it up guys!
Very organized
This is by far the greatest place to get used auto part. Yes you have to pull your parts but that's the reason why they give you such good deals. For instance I just bought an engine for my Ford Fusion the engine cost $267 I believe it was with a 30-day warranty you can get them even cheaper without the warranty but who's going to do that they also have a $25 core so if you had the old engine. I just found out about this place this winter and I bet I've been here 20 times since then. Only down side is that the people that work behind the counter they don't really know what there talking about if you have a question. Also they're kind of rude they never really smile or help you much this is at the East Bethel location other than that I give them five stars because like I said the prices are phenomenal and that's what it's all about
They have a great selection of parts and the yard is usually well kept. I've been going here for years and its always the first place I look for used parts, then craigslist ;)
Found four tires w/ rims total came to 154.94. I signed up for a 15% savings by entering in my information.. but didnt realize until almost back to Bloomington I never got my discount( should be 15% = 22 and some change) so I called him to see if I could come back and get my should have been simple balance but was told i would only be able to get a store credit"! Looks like I'm going to 101 for now on plus it's free to get in over there also!
Last resort for some parts. Needed a pigtail for a sensor
It's dirty it's disorganized maybe you'll find what you're looking for maybe not, but if you do it will be dirt cheap
It was nice just the they need to fill up does holes made by the rain
When I need a part I can usually find exactly what I need
Fun times. I love going to a pull your own parts place with my best friend and surprising a bunch of men every time we turn a corner. Good times. Yeah... Ladies need some auto parts too.
A lot of fun!!! Always found something...great prices..like staff enough to try and get my stepson a job there..A++
My husband went to the Rosemount location looking for a specific part for a transmission for our Honda CR-V. He found one. They wouldn't sell it to him; they said he'd have to buy the whole transmission assembly. He left, but called as soon as he got home and asked them to save the part for him. They said they would. Surprise: They didn't. They freaking THREW IT AWAY. Instead of selling it to him, they pitched it. Take your business somewhere else.
Sold them my old car, very easy experience.
Surprisingly clean for a junk yard. Very well organized yard. Decent staff. They really know what they have to. Make sure you bring all your own tools though.
Terrible organization and a complete disastrous junkyard. This place doesn’t even keep track of inventory, just the car. I would not recommend coming here, you’ll only waste your time. You’ll have way better luck at Ace Auto Parts in St. Paul.
Today is the first time I go to the store and my sandals are stolen I do not go again
Good prices on parts but make sure you bring your own tools.
Like the place usually can find what I'm looking for parts that is for my car are truck
this place is awesome Holly the employee in France she's also awesome found everything I needed!!
Great and friendly service. Now my car has heat and I only had to pay $14.
I enjoy going here with my husband#
I don't know why this place gets negative reviews. Been going there for years......cheap parts and good service. The name is pretty self explanatory...... You pull the parts. Its not for everyone, but if it works for you, you can save a ton of cash.
Friendly staff good place to pull parts cheap tires
Lazy condescending millennials. You haven't been on this Earth long enough to talk to anyone that way let alone customers.
You have to take out the parts urself.
Very unpleasant and rude over the phone and changed their quote depending on who I talked to. Hung up on me for asking if I could get a higher bid because the car had a brand new muffler. Eventually went with them because there's no better alternative but overall a very negative experience trying to get rid of my car. Changing to 2 stars because their tow truck guy was very nice.
Friendly, helpful staff, fair admission cost, and reasonable hours of operation. Organized yard with a good variety of makes and models. Cost of parts is dramatically lower than purchasing new or used from any other source. Bring your tools, work gloves and a rag or two. Impact wrenches are a must for many parts and a can of WD40 or similar doesn't hurt either. Google UPullRParts,MN coupons for discounted admissions and potential money off your purchase.
Always a blast, have never come here and not found the part I was looking for + ones I didn't even think I could replace!!
Great selection even better prices
Decent junk yard. Well organized.
As scrap yards go its great. Prices for parts are extremely affordable. Website does a great job letting you know if the car your looking for is in their inventory (the parts may not be though) so check the date they received the vehicle. Im sure i'll be back again soon.
Open on Sundays, friendly staff, very fair pricing!
Always has always will be the best for parts and anything u need for vehicles at the right price just getting to the parts before others is the challenge ???????????????????????????? thx again for being the greatest ???? ????
Great place. For those who dont know, the name says it all. You pull our parts. Meaning you have to take them off the car yourself. Cheapest place around for most stuff, plus you can pick which car it comes off of. I have got many almost new parts there many times.
Used to be a great place to get used parts now they charge just as much as a normal salvage yard but you have to do the work of pulling the part plus the admission charge
They need more attention with the inventory I search many times for Chevrolet Sonic I called and let them know was not there and never seen any I know it’s one there I walked in and take parts off it but if you search online can’t see it.
They had my tires for a great price!
Accurate online inventory for ensuring your parts adventure has a good chance at success.
Love going here for parts but not much anymore prices change. They charge more than like last time you gone here. I'm going to check ebay first before going here
Like always friendly staff. I got what i was looking for and cant beat there pricing. Love this place.
You can find most anything you need. They don't pay much for cars even if they're in decent condition. Staff is nothing amazing. Average scrap yard.
Good prices but you do the work!
Smooth entry and efficient pricing. Way better than searching online and paying huge amounts of money.
Kinda out in the middle of nowhere, but fine otherwise.
This is a great place, friendly staff and awesome prices!
A little bit of bait and switch starting to happen so beware. At the East Bethel location they charged me for the cams in the cylinder head. Up to this point cams were always included in the head purchase (customer of several years) so a little sleazy because each guy decides what the price is and what's included. Otherwise a good yard but very frustrating that you get a different price each time you go. One guy charges for the valve cover, next guy for anything electric, and this last guy for cams
Wanted to thank the amazing people at Upull that have helped me out. Adam and Meagan have really done their part. Thank you
Always got parts u need if dont mind doing urself
Great place for parts obviously. The lady that helped me was nice. It was my first time selling my vehicle to the junk yard. It was time... I'm gonna miss my Jeep, it was my first car ???? But I got a good deal and I'm ready for a new car.
Found what I needed and price was great.
Great Place to find parts cheap. Nice and friendly staff.
Absolutely horrible service. I called once to salvage my car, and was quoted 150(including a tow), and the guy was extremely rude on the phone. Call other places to see if I could find someone who could pay the same just because I hated the place, but couldn't find a better price. When I called them back the second time to grudgingly set it up, they only quoted me 75 dollars even though I spoke to someone previously, because they would have to tow it. Guy said they didn't have anyone by that name, even though I had just talked to the guy a few days before. So they're lying to customers, plus bad attitude, take your car anywhere else and you'll find the same prices anyway.
Been here many times, today i saved $43.00 by getting 1 for $1
Friendly staff, 15% military discount, good deals and good finds if you know what you are looking for
Great cars available and the parts are cheap!
Great prices but it sucks if u don't know how to pull the parts u need
I could not find wut I wanted but others were busy
Very friendly and helpful.
Great prices and friendly staff always worth the trip
I generally am a huge fan of DIY in favor of saving some cash and being more self-reliant all around. There are plenty of donner cars, SUVs, and trucks in various stages of disassembly to choose from, but you're going to be better off the more common a vehicle you need the parts from. While I usually have a great time crawling in and around questionable old wrecks in a post-apocalyptic setting searching for a jackpot, last time the brakelight wireing harnesses I needed ended up costing more than brand new ones from AutoZone. So always check what a new part costs to make sure it's actually worth your time and energy before committing to the field trip, but more often than not (if you got the time and energy to spare) it will be.
They run a yard properly. Good policies, well maintained yard, Easy to use inventory platform updated daily that lets you search for cars or parts, which some other yards only let you search for parts which is annoying.
It's a junkyard. Pay$2 to go into the yard. I liked that they told me where the car and parts I was looking for was at in the yard.
Lots of whatever you need. The people were friendly and fast!
Its a great spot just didnt have what i was looking for. But they have tons of cars that you can get your hands dirty with. Just beware it is first come first served they might not have the part you are looking for.
Great place. Excellent prices. And good selection. Well worth the stop if you're looking for parts! Just remember to bring your own tools! You can check their website to find out if they have a specific part or car available.
Good junkyard to pull off your own parts. I stopped in today, man they high buck for some steel rims. $50 for 2 steals 15" rims. They have hundreds of them. Everything isn't to badly priced. But Man, I sell this company cars for the dirt.(towing company) Didnt think they charge that kinda of money for cheap old steel rims. Hmmmm ! !
Yard was what it said PULL YOUR OWN. Lot was separated nicely. Wish the lanes were more shoveled/plowed
Long walk out to some of the cars. Hopefully individuals think of others & don't break parts, that other people will need, to extract theirs.
Lots of cars. Reasonably priced.
Just want to ask them one question about selling a car, but they won't pick up the phone. Been on hold for 1 hr since 12pm November 16th. Still on hold while writing this review. About to drive to them and ask why they arent picking up while I am still holding. Such an unreasonable hold time.
If you know how to work with tools and take off car parts we'll pay the 2dollers to go into the yard and pull want you need....prices for the car parts you pull off is well worth your time of pulling it off yourself
Good customer service and good pricing
Great place to get the needed parts without having to pay as much, as love as you don't mind getting dirty.
Great place to find parts. Ha
Staff is very friendly and cars are quite plentiful, wheel barrows are offered if you are grabbing larger parts. $2 for admission and they won't let you in 30 minutes prior to closing which is all standard. They have a nice sink with good soap in the lobby so if your hands are dirty you can clean them, many other yards don't offer this. Prices are fair, they may be higher than other yards but the yard is kept clean and doesn't smell, so I am okay with it.
A nice selection of vehicles to choose from. All vehicles inventory and placed in numbered rows for easy location. Cant beat the prices. I got a hood, two front fenders and two doors for $205.00. Best yetitdont matter what car you are looking for parts for. The prices are the same. Thats right. For instance if you need a side mirror its $16.00. It don't matter if you're driving a Geo Metro or a BMW it's $16.00 powered or not. The name says it all U Pull R Parts. You bring your tools and two bucks to get in the door. Locate your vehicle and remove the parts you need and you're on your way. Don't like what you see don't have to take it. They have any knowledge of all vehicles and years and which parts can be pick from. If for some reason is wrong bring it back and they'll gladly allow you to exchange it or give you in-store credit that never expires and can be used at either their locations. All in all it's a great place to save money and fix your vehicle at the same time. I would highly recommend it for someone on a budget. Don't take my word for it go check it out yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Cheap. My parts i need where there n worked.. Friendly staff
Always a good experience pulling parts from here; really fair prices and the employees are nice and personable and make you feel at home. I was short on cash($10)when purchasing two doors and a fender for my CR-V and the gal ringing me up told me that she would cover it and then at the same time a few of the patrons said “No,No,No!! We got ‘em!!” Which made me feel so relieved and so inspired that the very next time I came back to the facility, I returned the gesture to an individual who was in a similar position as I was....anyway, with that being said, Rosemount Rocks!! ????????
Great place to go for used auto parts, even hard to find stuff and the stupid little things that i need. And they are way cheaper than any other junk yard around,
I dont know who this is possible but its actually fun to go to the Junkyard. Great prices and they truly value their customers!
Absoloutley love this place
Fun place, you'll always find something.
Can always find what I need and the staff is very helpful.
Check online to see if they have your type of vehicle first
Great prices on all the parts I needed
Unfortunately I have to update my review of this place it used to be the place to go but the prices for small stuff is higher than even shipped new parts in many cases.
Cool place to find cheap car parts if you have the mechanical ability to pull the parts.
Great place if want to get your own auto parts
I was in and out quick. Got what I hope I need, lol
Good place to goto get cheep parts. They just need to stay open till up for the ones that r work during the day.
I've been coming here for years. All the parts you need at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and organized yard.
It's ok, just ok prices have gone up, and they don't pay much for your junk vehicle
I really like this place because you get distracted from all the problems you have and you learn many things, I give it 5 stars
I loved it because they sell cheap car parts
They are ALWAYS very polite and very helpful! I enjoy working with them because how polite and helpful they are!! Plus if you need them to tow your car cause your getting rid of it the tow truck drivers are amazing as well. They are also very polite!! Best business ever!! I will ALWAYS go to them!!
I found everything I needed and more wide variety of vehicles place to go when you need parts cheap and you don't mind secondhand
Love this place has all the parts I need I go there and usually spend the day there. it's always changing. friendly staff. Amazing pricing.
Didn't have what I needed but still one of the best scrap yards
I really like the revitalization they have done with the place and how they are more active with their customers. They have a good selection of vehicles and their inventory and organization of vehicles makes finding the specific car you need easy. Definitely one of the best junk yards in the mid west with the broadest selection. I just wish they could stay open for just a little bit longer during the day for those who have a long drive or get off work late. Overall, awesome place and I will continue to get all the parts I need from there!
Showed up at 4:35 to get a part that would take 10 min to get off. Drove 45 min to get there and they wouldn’t let us in… I get it that they want to go home but come on.
Good place to go to get parts and to visit with friends too...
Love this place! When asked where I want to go for my birthday I said you pull our parts. People think I'm a little weird but I love my Chevy and hate paying anybody to fix it. Do it yourself!
The locations of the vehicles I was looking for were accurately indicated on the website. The prices are reasonable. Great place to find parts. My only complaint would be that some of the vehicles are too close together so it's hard to open doors and access inside door parts.
Great place to buy use auto parts, great costumer service.
Best place for parts at cheap price
St Paul Park Auto Parks can get you almost anything you need if it's available and at the best price
Good value. Had exactly what I needed. Watch out for the hidden fees though. What they don't tell you is it costs two dollars per person just to walk out into the yard.
This was ABSOLUTELY unreal. I can't believe I drove over an hour to get here today to find a today only closed sign. We even called about coming this weekend, you think they would have told us then.... I will NOT be returning and I am NOT happy. Another customer also pulled up as we were here too. Ridiculous. Nothing on the website either ☹️ the excuse of the weather is no excuse at all. The weather was known all week and it wasn't a surprise and there was still nothing posted on the website.
I like the Rosemount location. I usually leave with the part i went in there for and sometimes for than i needed
Good prices. Can save hundreds of dollars.
They know what vehicles they have but not a clue about why the vehicle is there and what has been taken. We Went in there to get a fender, visors, and a bumper cover for a civic. The car was grey, while the man on the phone said it was black. They had no idea that only was it a front end collision but every single usable part was taken, save for a seat and a couple windows. They charge $2 to even get in, so when you get out there to find there isn't anything salvageable, you're out of luck. Completely hit and miss.
Worth the long drive, good cheap parts.
Caution. Before driving miles for nothing. They dont keep inventory. The vehical may be stripped. Your not allowed in with a grinder or sawzall. They search your tool bag when entering. They Nitpick about any parts attached to the part your buying. Seriously uptight. . I mean $1 plastic items they want $5 $10 or $20 for it. 6 years ago i left hoping to never return. To see what kind of management they are, read the comment below by Joel Rodriguez. 3/22/2018 Joel stated that he purchased the heads off a vehical then days later he needed the block also. So at the check out the manager came out and forced him to pay for the heads again. But why(?) Or leave.
Good arena for used cars & trucks part.
Had what i needed, only give credit for returns so i have to go again
This place is amazing! My brother and I found everything we went for and then found a few other gems. Thanks scrap-yard.
This place is the LIBRARY OF SPARE PARTS HEAVEN!
It seems to me that most of the complaints lodged in these reviews were written by people who have no idea how a 'U Pull' works. Wonder if your car is there? Check their website. In fact, if you bother to read the website, you'd see that most of these complaints could have been avoided. They don't inventory parts! If your car is there you go and pay your $2 and take a chance. Think it's ridiculous to pay $2 and walk out with nothing? Stuff your pockets with fuses and bulbs! Grab a 'just in case' part!
This place is pretty great, but I went to the east Bethel location cause they said they had my part but didn't, so then I raced over to the rosemount location who said there's plenty of engines out there to choose my part from but they didn't have any either. I would think this day and age they would have a better way of tracking what's in their lot. So still cheap used parts if you can find them.
Fun to walk around looking for parts lol
They usually have what I need and at a great price.
Did not find what I needed but easy to find the truck
The staff is very friendly and super helpful!!! Will definitely continue to purchase from them. The most reasonable prices!!!
Awesome site, very helpful staff
Love this place, rain or shine you can pull your parts, friendly staff and always reasonable prices. Like being able to check their car inventory online, won't list the parts available on the car but lists the date the vehicle was inventoried, which is very helpful. Two locations Blaine and Rosemount.
This location is cool. I prefer this one over the other
Not like it matters if you give this a low rating its a junk yard you can get cheep parts from
Great place to find most car parts
Person taking order to have tow had to be high. Address given for tow given 6 times and they still got it wrong. They got the city it was in wrong 3 times like they didn't know that Richfield didn't exist. Then it was scheduled for a Monday tow and it's Tuesday and I get a call from them to schedule a tow. Can bet they even get where to send the check wrong. They get one more star if the check arrives. Someone needs a drug test. not even marijuana causes those kinds of issues.
I called for day and couldn't get anyone to answer. I messaged them and would get automated responses. Gave up and wont try there again
This place is really helpful. Its helped keep some of my cars together
Location is getting messi day by day, since last time I was there, and today, I saw something really wrong, in one of the vehicles, apperantly, some people don't want wait for use the restrooms and they decide to use a Van as a toilet, and also even there is lots a vehicles, but variety is less and less Everytime, last few times I been here, I didn't find what I need.
Lost my business before gaining it. I'm not interested in driving an hour to an establishment to see if they might have my part. That's silly. They should fix that and inventory there parts.
You can find good used parts here at this place it's awesome
Small admission charge for a huge selection of pretty much any older car parts, plus sometime a few newer cars trickle in the inventory from accidents
Sets the standard for salvage yards exceptional service and great prices
For the man or woman on a budget you have to come here check the inventory first and bring your tools worth the drive
Been to their yard before, organized and clean considering it is a salvage yard. Didn't know door jam seal (windlace) is sold by the foot. Wish I would have known prior to grabbing a bunch of it for skid loader doors. $2/ft !! Could have bought it new and shipped to me for less. I'll come back again, just not for that stuff.
$25 quoted for my Jetta that doesn't run, still a smack to the face. . .
They have what you need at a reasonable price
It's fast and easy. The people are friendly.
Going to a scrap yard is always a crap shoot, bit these folk made me feel welcome. They also took the time to help me locate the vehicles I was looking for and we're even kind enough to let me borrow so tools.
Ok place charged me for a reflector that was part of a light I played for. Should of been all for one price.
They have a very large inventory of foreign and domestic vehicles. You pull your own parts but if they are large, they provide wheel barrels for convenience. They also have tool rentals for those who come unprepared. Customer service is also spectacular here.
Great!! Good sense of humor
Could have got a new part cheaper and had it delivered to my house.
$2 to enter the yard. Only one model of F150 97-05, and that was nearly stripped down to the metal. But the pricing is great, and I got lucky and found the part I needed off a vehicle that was 90% stripped.
Favorite place to go junkyard shopping!
Cars placed very well to pull the part you need. Yard is kept quite clean, friendly staff.
Drove 1hr .and they usto have resonble price and customer service. Being people have to drive far. And they changed every little thing that you get let's say you get door.. You get charged. With glass. Rear view mirror. Handle. And so on.. Over all they getting just like all other junk yard.
I have used this source for years. I have sold cars to them. The Bethel location is by far the best. Staff up there friendly and helpful. Rosemont has huge sales volume, cars are stripped within a few days. Staff are busy and in fairness, some customers try to negotiate deals. The rates are posted you either like it or do not shop there. Management and Staff at Rosemont are not very friendly, and can be compared to the typical bad image of a "typical Junk Yard" They seem to be doing very well the way they operate their business and see no need to change anything. In todays world of computerization, they could ad a little more information on their web site about where the car is located in their lot with minimal cost. They could ad more information about the car. They choose not to, their current operations make money and is very busy so they choose not to make it more functional for their customers. It is always a gamble for me, if the parts will be available when I get there. I have often paid the $2.00 to get in, burned up $20.00 in gas, wasted my time to go there, walked out with nothing. However, there are those times you can find that stupid clip you need that costs $50.00 at the Dealership, or a broken wiring connector. I do not buy electronic parts there, They have a very short period of time to make returns, you also get credit, They have never refunded my money, only credit. Always take your core with you. They do charge core charges on many things. Unless you live next door, a trip back to return the core will cost more in gas, then the core charge, you will loose money. They serve a purpose, they are generally not very helpful, nor are they particularly friendly. Parts tend to sell quickly so if a vehicle is on the lot more than a week, likely what you want will not be on it. If they show only one or two vehicles that match what you need, it is very likely you will not find what you need. They crush cars after they have been on the lot, many times I have gone there, looking for a particular car, only to find they have not corrected their on line inventory and already crushed the car. Wasted time and money for me, again doing business here is a gamble. With that said, there is a huge opportunity for a competitor to enter this twin city market. Little things like a photo of the car, basic specs, paint codes, not destroying the oil pans and gas tanks, money back on bad parts, parts testing stations, body part cut outs for a fee, engine\transmission pulling for a fee and so on. Keep their web site up and up to date. It was down this June 13 and 14 on a weekend and that's not the first time. I use them, but its a love/hate relationship.
Always very helpful and friendly
Great place to get good used parts cheap!
The Rosemount location is great! The yard is really well kept and service was excellent. They had six of the vehicle I was looking for, so parts were all right there. Highly recommend stopping here!
It was grate it's like a an adult playground
U pull R parts, great employees and great prices on your needed parts!!!!!
I'm only writing this cause your inventory listings on Ford doesn't include the explorer sport trac, only the suv explorer which the parts don't really interchange.
Went the weekend of Oct 2nd. Inventory is very picked over. Nothing but skeletons on the lot. Very disappointed. Most of which were there six months ago. Waste of two dollars just to go for a walk. Best of luck picking.. However, I would like to say that the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Large selection of parts that you pull yourself .
100's of different cars of all types. Cheap to buy, just come prepared to pull the parts yourself
Good lunch menu and good service, patio is great on a nice day
I like the place norm they have the part in looking for, just haven't the last two times.lol all in all I will keep going back, prices, and friendly people are the two reasons I go back time and time again.....thanks u pull.. Sincerely Josh c.
This place is awesome. It has enabled me to drive for less for the last 15 years of my life.
Drove an hour to get here after calling on friday to see if they had the car I need here and if they are open on saturday and they said yep until 5pm. Well I get here and there is a sign saying closing today only 2pm. So I also looked on their website and it says nothing there either. What a waste of time extremely dissapointed and will not be coming back.
Great prices and now its easy to find the car or truck your looking for.
They were complete jerks. Find another boneyard to get your parts. Will not go back.
u call and they do not pick up the phone on saturday
Good u pull junk yard clean organized, reasonably priced online inventory tells what's there but not what is left of it
I always have a good time here, I always get a little more that what I go for. But it keeps me busy!
Most cars are pretty stripped with only subpar parts left. I suspect they pull the better parts before putting them in the yard. Just don’t expect any friendliness or customer service. It is non existent at this business.
Love this place for reasonably priced used parts
It use to be a great place to go. Prices went up, and selling your junk car prices went down.
Good prices, cheap military discount 15% best place around
It's like it sounds, U Pull Ur Parts... have to keep your eye open for when the car you are looking for arrives. It's not a Salvage yard, it's a SAVAGE yard. Everyone getting whatever they can get as fast as they can get it
there online inventory of the vehicles they have in the yard are not always right. recently drove over a hour down there to look for some parts off their 1991 suburban and their 1990 suburban online they have them both labeled as 1/2 ton/1500's but once I got in and found the truck's. I found out that both were actually 3/4 ton/2500. which does me no good. told the employees working that day about it. not one apologized that they had there inventory wrong. they didn't care at all. so drove a hour and spent the two bucks to get in for nothing. also wrote them a email about how the inventory is wrong and they still have yet to fix it. this business is lazy and does not care what so ever. so before you waste your time here I would advice you look elsewhere for your parts.
Great selection and very cheap for parts. The service is great.
Great place to get used parts cheap
The prices is what drove me to this place, but the customer service sucks to no extent, the guy working there was very racist and it was very obvious how he changed his attitude and the way he talked as soon as we walked in the store. We had an argument about open toe shoes, and that was fine and my dad took my boots and went in, it is a safety issue, but honestly, what you care? it's not your foot, and i drove 45-1hour to get here, and he gives me this crap. Secondly we came to get 2 doors, a trunk lid, and 2 bumpers, 2 side mirrors, and he wants my dad to take this garden cart crap to get all that, and wouldn't let us take one of these tray carts. Absolute crap!
Bought a 13.00 plastic part, then was charged 5.00 for a 30-day warranty. Who returns something bought from a junkyard? Especially a plastic part that obviously doesn't have any defects? My receipts are full of 2.00-9.00 charges for 30-day warranties.
Great staff had all the parts I need
People were very helpful! Pointed me in the right direction and said have fun! Clean, neat and organized public places.
Good prices had what I needed
Love it here great pricing
Great place for used parts
Unbelievable horrible customer service. Those guys behaved like complete jackasses to me, i don't want to go into details of my experience, you should just go and check it out for yourself, it could be different for you.
Would of given 5 but I was not told about the tire disposal fee when I purchased 4 rims and tires and came back to return the cores. While I understand it I do not like the fact I was not told this nor was it listed on the receipt. Moving forward have that on your receipts. Anytime someone buys a tire or rim it should print that out. Should also be on your website and clearly written on signage.
Not bad but price could be better I was looking to get to get outside door handle for my truck got them new and cheaper on amazon but if your looking to get parts asap that would be my first choice but if your building a show pice get new oe parts
Always bring a good assortment of tools.
I like this yard more better then other ones prices can not be beat plus Veteran's discount, oh yes
I've been buying parts from this place for 20 years and hope to for another 20!
You save a lot to get you parts from them
Best place to pull used parts
Affordable, easy to find with a site map, the first place I go for my auto part needs.
Always polite and helpful.
Very CHEAP PARTS!! MUST Be 16years or OLDER to get INSIDE... ENTRANCE FEE of $2-5 Dollars to Get in!! Friendly atmosphere. Hopeful employees. You Find the parts down the aisles and located very easily. Tons of vehicles too play and Tinker around with. To fix your pride and joy at home. Parts cost $1 to $900. Lots of FUN.
Well is great place to found the most part ever
Trucks are picked clean. Not much left to them. Dont borher, it will waist your time.
Keep in mind they stop letting people into the yard a half hour before closing. The hours were wrong as of this review posting. Actual hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm, 8-4:30 Saturday, and 9-4:30 Sunday.
Always like this place cause you can pick your own for a small fee and a waiver signature. You never know what you exactly you need sometime and since you can pull whatever you need it's a lot easier. Was just in there to pick some parts for my daughters first car I had to fix to get it going and got a lot of random parts and I wish I could remember the guys name at the counter that was unbelievably respectful and gave me a great price for hundreds of dollars in parts if I had to buy retail. One of the few places that let you pick your own and will drive that hour to spend a few hrs walking around this yard.
Love this place! They have just about everything you need!!!
Should add more details, like paint codes, to the website. Otherwise good.
Love going there great car parts
They have there stuff together.
Great place for parts and to drop a parts donor
It was hot but very satisfying i was given cold water while leaving thanks
Prices are great, yard set up is great, usually can find what I need.
Very good place to get what you want
Great place to get car parts for cheap. Have pulled many parts for my old car including a blower motor, antifreeze reservoir, and a windshield washer fluid hose.
Okay parts are getting more expensive now days
It's nice to have a pick and pull junkyard that has fixed prices and online listings of the current cars they have. No games to be played like other places that figure they have you over a barrel.
My son shops here. Be prepared to pay a small fee just to get into the junk yard area and realize you need the knowledge and ability to glean the auto part you are searching for. Can't beat the prices since it is mostly self serve .
can't complain, I've always made money when I use there resources. good parts and great prices makes for pure profit.
Good place for cheap used parts when you need them.
Super great prices! Online site has great part fitment info and their facebook has pics of all the cars they bring in. Folks up front were super helpful and nice. Absolutely AWESOME!
Friendly staff, well organized, had the part I was looking for.
Great place to go to save a little money on your car parts
The best place to shop I love it!
Horrible in the winter. Super slippery and lots of snow to push wheelbarrow through. Otherwise during the rest of the year great place to get deals on us d parts.
Been going here since I was 16, I've always found what I've needed, great prices and a fantastic staff!!
People are friendly and it's a fun place to go get a little dirty. I like to think of it as treasure hunting for my vehicles.
I was very upset, after an hour and 45 minute drive, I arrived at 4:35. One of the employees asked who I think is a manager to let me in anyways, since it was a long drive. The woman was ridiculously rude, even after telling her I only needed to quickly get a door (on a car, where I had already written down where it was), she told me that no, I could not go in, they needed to hurry up and get people out. She didn't care that they didn't close until 5, and then proceeded to say that, "we have our hours on the internet", which I told her the hours said they were open until 5. It wasn't until digging around on their site it said anything about not letting people in until 4:30.
Good service real helpful Eric was extra helpful and knowledgeable thanks guys
I don't always find what I want, but that's a scrap yard for you. The staff are always courteous and helpful. There's always a printout for vehicle locations and thankfully, everyone plays by big boy rules.
Decent selection of cars that rotate in. Just be careful if when they are charging you to make sure they don't add stuff that isn't there.
Good & helpful place for my car. Got a lot of stuff I needed there.
Fast check in, good lot organization, fair pricing for used car parts.
Went in about 4-5 days ago and bought a cylinder that i took off an 04 crv. Would've removed the whole engine but ever since they want u to push that huge crane/hoist from the front to wherever u are working it was imppssible for me to do so with snow on ground as i was alone. So i went back today 3/22/2018 to get the block with a buddy of mine, so we removed it and when we're going to pay they say $200 and am like wait what for and they say the engine. I tell them thats only the block, i bought the head 4-5 days ago i even had the reciept from that day, so the kid says that they dnt sell just the block anymore and if u do u have to pay for the whole engine and goes and gets shorty Mr. Angry Face from his half size office and the idiot just comes and says u got 2 options u either take it or leave it. Im like reaaalllyyyy so i threw the money on the counter paid for it and left. Will NEVER go again, and i used to go about 2x a week.
Cheap auto parts because you pull them yourself. Very friendly.
Always have what you need. Lots of fun spending the day out there.
This place is awsome read their website for in inventory and arrival dates.I have been going to this place for over ten years and I can't say anything mean about it other than they are snotty as he'll but I'm ok with that.
Large selection. All cars are up on blocks for easy access to parts. A+
Drove over an Hour and then I get there and "cars actually not supposed to be in our system anymore that's Long gone" waste of time and gas money
I love this place. Big boy rules, no one bothers you while you're pulling parts. Also, a big plus is the inventory doesn't rotate super fast so you can go back in a week and grab something you missed. Very fair price and a much-appreciated veterans discount.
Good place to find cheap auto parts
This is the best place in Minnesota for all your parts you need that are good quality used parts.
Usually have a good experience with this place.... but this time I called ahead to see if they have the part I needed cuz I live 2 hours away from there they told me they had three of what I was looking for I get there spend 2 hours walking through their lot to find the cars and all three of them are missing the part that I drove 2 hours to come and get....... so day wasted car still not fixed not a happy camper
Awesome place to get use part for your car, very nice staff also
It was a busy Sunday at noon. I was able to get in and out fairly quickly. I like they rotate inventory fairly quickly.
You do the work but save a lot of cash. Always differant cars to get parts from.
Easy place to find parts
The prices on the parts are great. Having the inventory listed online, including how long the vehicle has been in the yard, is very helpful. A great place for keeping your older vehicles on the road or finding a few parts for a "new" car or truck.
Great place to get used parts
Got in and got parts needed fast
Was able to get 2 of my vehicles, that no longer ran, brought in and unloaded so someone else can use for fixing their vehicles...been here many times to get parts to fix mine
Damaged parts and trash thrown everywhere. Hard to find unbroken interior parts.
Been a while since last visit. But this time we were offered a slip showing which cars had the matching part were looking for with the row number. Saved us a lot of time. Definitely will return when needed.
Lots of cars to fine your parts and good prices!
When you call the poster number on the website you cannot get a hold of a real person it will send you right to a robot. When you try all the numbers and Literally brings you to another robot and no possible way of contacting the office there get rid of the robot
Very reasonable on car or truck parts
pretty straight forward place friendly workers
Didnt like the fact two people go in each person has to pay when the other person isn't getting anything
Didnt find what i came for, but found plenty of other parts
The last time i was there it use to be a good place and good customer service, you forgot to bring some tool, they well loan it to you and you need help pull parts they well help and provide you a assistant, but now they don't seen to give a damn what you want and They just given you a bad attitude like if you can't get access into it we won't sell it or sell it to you, well there goes my $2 and waste my time and gas coming here. Never coming back to this place ever again
Upon my visit to u pull are parts in Rosemont I Was greeted with outstanding service and great knowledge of their jobs. The crew of Mackenzie , Jarod, and the excilent Adam, Lead by one of the most profound leaders, Miss Megan and her crew along Lexi are Top Shelf
My favorite yard
Always a good time YANKING my own parts !!
Place has lots of stuff, decent price on it too
They will tell you anything to sell you an item, then if you need to return it, they won't take it back. No one knows anything about vehicles or parts.
It's not a place to expect to leave with what you are looking for, but an adventure that always yields a bucket full of treasures. And sometimes that one piece you've been looking for.
Lots of used parts for all kinds of cars.
The yard is evenly spaced rows and columns of make specific vehicles. Easy to navigate with wide selection of models and years.
My new favorite place to go
Although it is quite the drive for me oh, the people that work there behind the counter are very courteous respectful and actually pay attention enough to remember you. Great place to go get treated like family.
They staff was very helpful and nice. Great place for parts.
Looking for parts for honda civic sedan and they confirmed they had a sedan I get there after driving 47 minutes and the have the coupe although even if they had the sedan it was in the lot for 28 days and hondas get picked clean quick
U Pull R Parts is an old school junkyard, meaning that they've got a huge lot full of vehicles and you're on your own. Don't expect help or direction - bring your tools and pull what you need. Going there is a risk, since all they can tell you if is a certain make/model is in the yard, not if it has certain parts. If you want to get a popular item (side mirrors, door handles, hoods, etc), you need to get to the car as soon as possible. If it's been sitting in the yard for more than a week or so, all those parts will be gone. I really wish they would let you bring in reciprocating saws or torches (it would make certain things a lot easier), but I understand why they don't. It's frustrating going there and finding three or four donor cars that are all missing the part you need, but that's the way it goes. Saving money also means you need to roll the dice sometimes.
Great place great service ????
Wonderful junk yard $5 cover
Only have older vehicle's, won't always find what you need.
It was upsetting that I spent 1hr finding and pulling a radiator to find out at the counter that I can get a brand new radiator cheaper elsewhere. I bought one from the yard a couple of months earlier and they have now increased the price almost triple from where it was.
Kinda confusing at first but great customer service. The guy working the front desk with the glasses was super helpful. Also they have many different cars and the parts are relatively cheap.
Great place a man's treasure for auto parts
Don't know why but every time I go here when I find what I'm looking for someone broke it trying to get what they wanted the wrong way. What a bunch of hacks, don't understand why everyone has to break things or throw the parts they don't want all over the place at this location. Also why does everyone cut wiring harnesses so close to connectors and/or right at the connector????
It was good; I actually found the part I was looking for.
I called ahead about a rim & tire, I was told by customer service but it would be $21 for whatever I found out there for my vehicle but once I arrived 90% of the tires and rims were off the vehicles and the rims were welded and repurposed for jack stands under the vehicles. Wish I would have been told that ahead of time before I traveled 50 miles round trip for nothing
