Descriptions on website are limited. This caused some confusion when emailing staff and ordering parts. The staff member called me back to ensure that I was able to get the correct parts as soon as possible. I did appreciate him explaining the miscommunication to me and working to make sure that I was able to get the correct part. They seem very nice over the phone and I would recommend giving them a call to discuss specific parts before ordering online.

Decent price. As I haven't received my items yet, I can't comment on the product. If they could give me an update about the shipping, I would leave 4 stars...five days ago, the order was placed with about 1 - 2 business days delivery. So far, I even don't know it was shipped out or not. Just about 2 hours later after I left the above review, I received the shipping notice saying my item was just shipped from the city closed by. So, I keep my words to come back here updating the review stars.

I've ordered everything from motor oil, additives, a valve cover, gaskets, spark plug tubes, and even lug bolts. I do local pick up and my order is fulfilled the next day. Returns are hassle free and refunds are hassle free. Prices are more than fair. I've done several comparisons where I look at the item on ebay + shipping + import fees + waiting time and paying an extra 20-30$ to buy it here and having the sense of security, warranty, and time savings is more than worth it.

Paid for the parts Jan 3rd and not a word from this company about shipment, no email no tracking. It's Jan 9th today. Inquired recently and was promised an email with shipment details, nothing yet. Poor customer service but willing to take your money. Paid $17 for shipping. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Update: rep reached out and shipped the part soon after review. Also refunded the payment. Updated the review to 3 stars for rectifying the situation.

These guys are awesome! Needed a G89 Fresh Air Sensor for my 2008 Q7. Called VW/Audi (initial instinct) and part is sold out in Canada and limited availability in the US (a very popular part no doubt). Came across your website on Google search and ordered the sensor around 1pm. Not only was the price better than other sites, but the part arrived at the local Pengiun Pick-Up at 3:30pm. I know that your are not far distance wise, but still....this is impeccable service!!! Thanks!!!

spent approximately 6x the price of a part compared to other online retailers due to the advertised “1-2 day shipping”. the part wasn’t even shipped out by german parts until 6 days later! messaged them twice while waiting for the part to be shipped and never heard back. don’t waste your money here, terrible customer service. - have documentation stating shipping label wasn’t even created until 5:30 pm on december 10 which is not within the “1-2 day” shipping window. price is definitely 6x the total price of $49 compared to rocka. and you didnt touch on the lack of communication except through review responses after the fact. also not the first time ive had an issue with germanparts… just opened the box, wrong part!

I can only say that my experience was simply great. I made several orders and got the parts next day with pickup at Penguin. On last order I made a mistake and ordered a wrong part but after I phoned the shop they were able to cancel the order although they were running overtime through Black Friday sale.. Overall, great quality of parts and exceptional service.

I decided to actually take the time and review this guys for sure especially since Im licensed mechanic. First time dealing with this store and the whole experience was nothing but great! Staff answered my questions over the phone in a friendly & professional way so I went ahead and order online around noon and my parts were and ready for pick up, in Ottawa, the same day by 4pm. That is just great customer service. They have good prices, great customer service and prompt delivery. Parts fit my Car like they were OEM no need to struggle fitting them in, you know, when buy A/M sometimes u need to make little adjustments but not this one so the product they sell is thumbs up quality. Only thing is they are a tad bit heavier (front rotors) but hey, that's on the manufacturing side. No big deal at all!! Definitely recommend them and will make them my go to store.

About a year ago, I ordered a complete Brembo braking set (front & rear rotors, ceramic pads & sensors) for my Mercedes-Benz from a U.S. supplier. Within 6 months or so, these brakes started to squeal from the rear & eventually the front. I tried brake-cleaner & even had my local mechanic re-apply brake lubricant to stop it. NONE of these methods worked, in fact, it kept getting worse causing me embarrassment whenever I drove. I finally had enough & decided these Brembo brakes had to go. I don't know where these Brembo brakes I had were made but they definitely didn't live up to their name at all. In searching for another supplier, I came across German Parts while browsing online. I did some research on the Zimmermann brand & read a lot of positive feedback--more importantly, these brakes were in fact manufactured in Germany. I placed my order for a complete set on a Saturday. By the following Monday, this brake set was ready for pickup which SHOCKED me considering they're closed on weekends! WOW! I had these new brakes installed a few weeks ago & what a DIFFERENCE! No more squealing & other embarrassing brake noises. Even the mechanic who installed them noticed a relative difference in thickness of the Zimmermann rotors compared to the Brembo's. I wish I would've known about German Parts earlier, it would've saved me a headache, time & money. This place will be my go-to for all my German vehicle parts going forward. Unbelievable pricing & the option to pickup parts free at a Penguin facility is simply GREAT! THANKS GERMAN PARTS--you've gained a new loyal Client!

High quality OEM and aftermarket parts for Audi/VW (I only have experience with those) at great prices. Cheaper than buying from US and doing cross-border pickup. Pickup from store to save shipping costs is a huge win. Parts are packed well and available quickly.

I’ve been ordering from GermanParts for about two years now ever since I started becoming the caretaker of my father’s old BMWs. They have competitive prices (though AutoPartsWay.ca has them beat on SOME of their prices, inventory and selection) and overall great customer service. There was a minor error when they shipped me the wrong part, but Tim and his team were able to rectify the problem right away. One recommendation I can give is to double check the part numbers on some of the inventory, especially for the older BMWs. The clutch slave part number for a BMW E39 M5 is totally different than what is listed on the GermanParts website (I double check with BMW, FCP Euro and ECS Tuning for part numbers). The one listed is actually for a regular E39 5 Series, so I had to look elsewhere for the correct part unfortunately. Overall, these guys run an honest business, and mistakes do happen along the way. Nobody’s perfect, hence my 4/5 star rating. I look forward to ordering more parts from here soon!

Really nice staff, very responsive. I bought brake pads for a 2016 BMW 428XI Gran Coupe. Only complaint is they produce a lot more brake dust than OEM but the price was 3/4 less than the dealer so can I really be upset and complain? The brakes stop the car better than OEM.

Ordered rear break pads and rotors from German Parts, they ended up being defected. I called in and asked if I was able to get them exchanged, I was told I needed to reorder them by paying the $300ish again and then I'd be able to bring in the defected ones for a refund. I ended up going to tire domain where they exchanged them for me by buying the new set of rear breaks themselves. At the end of the day I lost $105 of extra labour because they would not exchange the defected breaks.

Ordered brembo pads and rotors accidently ordered wrong ones so i called the next day spoke to i believe his name was Tim or Tom im sorry ha, he fixed my order fast and easy got them in 2 days. Needed caliper ordered exact same as i would had recieved from vw at fraction of price, recieved it 2 days later also. 100% recommend these guys great customer service and high quality oem parts, I will never shop anywhere else for OEM parts again for my VW

Just changed my oil, 7L of LIQUI MOLY Hi-Tec in my 14' M235i. Wow what a difference from the oil the dealers use. Whats more impressive is that they shipped to Vancouver island in 3 days. Great stuff, will recommend to friends!

I don't usually write reviews but I had to due to the fantastic service I received on thursday at germanparts.ca. As a female I dread going in to anywhere car related because I always feel like I am getting scammed somehow. I was recently guided to germanparts.ca from a friend after I told her about a very bad experience I had at a certain Mercedes car dealership. I got the part I needed at around half the price, but my main reason for the review was for the honesty and comfort I felt in the store. The guy at the counter(I forgot his name, I think it was Leroy) detected that I was nervous and made me feel at ease straight away. Sometimes the whole package matters, not just the price. These guys are great and I will not go anywhere else for my parts.

Ordered Liqui Moly oil from these guys on Wednesday, my order was on my porch on Friday. Have to commend GermanParts on the speed of work on their end and choice of courier - Purolator. While UPS is 3 weeks behind on my packages, Purolator delivered. Prices are more expensive than FCPEuro where I usually order from, but I ordered from these guys now since I can't cross the border to pick up my US deliveries.

My dad recommended this place to me for my BMW. The person over the phone seemed nice but unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience. I'm annoyed that it took a week for my parts to be delivered when it said 1-2 days delivery. I had to call to follow up about my order, only to find out it wasn't sent through because one item wasn't available. What makes it even worst is they had a 12% off sale literally during the week I waited for my parts. So I missed out on the sale, waited much longer than I anticipated, and am now looking for another shop to deliver my one missing item.

update:They replied to my email and solved my issues. Nice customer service from Tim. Pro: 1. good website and fast shipping. 2. Good customer service. 3. Parts come with one year free warranty and they provide 2-3 extended warranty with extra charge. Talk with them first if you are not sure about that. Cons: 1. Shipping is not free even though it is fast. 2. Please note that there is 20% restocking fees if u return without defectives. I still don't like it even if it is something called industrial standard.(update: they evaluate each return and the restocking fees is not always needed, which makes sense. Talk with them before you wanna return ). 3. The terms I received have scratches and damage on the edge of exterior shells, which do not look brand new to me. ( Update: they have solved this issue perfectly. ).

Ordered parts with promised next business day pickup. Received email stating order is ready for pickup. Drove an hour to pickup and no sign of package. Called and was promised a call back, 1 hour later, no call back. I called again to obtain update and no information. Mechanic paid to sit for 2 hours and customer had to wait another day for his vehicle. Lesson learned. Do not make commitments based on the guarantees provided by Germanparts.ca as they are not guarantees. No compensation, no apologies, not even a same day refund.

To be honest I was expect much greater customer care from what I've heard about this shop. But I do have to point out the poor professionalism I had experienced this week. I had given the shop a call to advise I am coming down to pick up some oil for my c350 and I was glad to hear the representative advise he has one ready for me. I do live about 45mins to an hour away which I had advised, but the representative reassured me by saying he is at the shop until 530 which is plenty of time. I had arrived to the facility at 5:08-5:10 pm just to be locked out and stood up. I gave a call to the hot line and the guys were great to talk to, but not the best when it comes to helping out clients. I was told buddy had left early and I'd have to invest another hour of my time to come all the way back just to grab the oil. I was glad to hear the boys were willing to offer a promo code for all of the running around and for the waste of time. When I inquired about the promo code, all I was offered was the generic code accessible to anyone... which was a total bummer. It felt as if I was not treated as a valued customer shafting me, not caring about the fact they close when ever they feel like and are unable to upkeep their promises. I gave a call to the shop and they advised they would have someone give me a call back. 24 hours passes and still no call back. Personally I doubt the boys would care or not if they lose out on a customer, but I've had better service at McDonald's than I had Here.

Ordered some parts from here , paid for next day delivery...I did not receive my next day . Website has no shipping policy!! Profile doesn't have tracking capabilities or updates on orders!! I am nervous that I will not receive my order as it didn't arrive and payment was taken when the order was made!! I will update if things change!! Note: The only reason I ordered from this website is because they offered the next day delivery option, I could have just ordered my parts from the dealer and paid the same price and received my parts within 48 hours!! Wish I had known that next day delivery doesn't mean next day delivery to them!! Update: Finally recieved parts ordered 5 days later, I was refunded the cost for next day shipping as well from Tim (Next day shipping charge Refund has not been credited to card yet during time of this update) !! I will definitely hesitate before ordering from here again as this was a very big inconvenience for me that could have been avoided had I chosen to deal directly with the dealer!!

Ordered my Zimmerman front and rear rotors from their website. Arrived in only a few days, which is very convenient considering I live on the other side of Canada. I would have ordered my brake pads from them as well had they carried more selection. Other than that, great experience so far

Staff seemed friendly enough. Went here for brake pads and a sensor. The one I wanted wasn't in stock so I had to go with a more expensive one. Exceptional customer service would have given the upgrade at the same cost but whatever as I needed the items. Shop is fairly clean but pretty small. Parking is horrendous right now as there is lots of snow and not much places to park. I will probably return if I ever need some more parts and probably would recommend to others who need German car parts as well as their pricing isn't too bad (but be careful for the good old bait and switch, similar to my own experience). Edit: bait and switch is where a company advertises one thing at a great price but when you arrive they 'don't have it in stock' and they try and sell you a more expensive brand or model than what you came in for. So when I first arrived and asked for the brake pads for my car, the guy working said they didn't have them in stock and if I wanted them I would have to order them and come back to pick them up and kept pushing for me to purchase a more expensive brand since he had those in stock. I really didn't want to return but seeing as the guy working said that they were better brake pads I eventually went with his suggestion. The pads were already open and the box looked pretty bad. I still bought them as I really trusted the shop guy. When I went to put the pads on they were the wrong size!!! Are you kidding me?! The guy working there, only has 1 job!!! Get the right parts for customers!!! When I got there I had to explain to the guy his mistake! Now I'm training their staff!?! Ended up wasting my time and I had to make another trip back to the store as the guy working there had to order the pads like I wanted in the first place! So the guy working there, pushes me to buy a more expensive brand which doesn't even fit my car! Making me go back and forth again and again for nothing! What a waste of time! I didnt even get offered any compensation from the company. Very poor customer service!!! Now I will not return nor I do not recommend this place to anyone as their staff is incompetent and doesn't even know what parts are for what cars, wasting people's time, gas anyone money!!! ***if you put up signs that say 'Review us on Google' in your establishment, then you better make sure your staff knows how to treat customers right!!! Otherwise don't ask people to review your business and their experience and then try and get mad at the customer! Get mad at your staff and yourself for training them so poorly!! Number one rule in retail customer service is the customer is always right! ***

I needed wheel bots for my Porsche Cayenne. They only had 1 in stock. Website would not allow me to order 20. You can't order by phoning in any more. Apparently they monitor stock levels, but not very good at it. So instead of taking my order and putting 19 of them on back-order, they just lost a sale. They don't appear very business savvy. The person I spoke with was useless. Based on the reviews here, they could use help in customer service.

Changing my 1 star to a 5 star after hearing from Tim yesterday. New bottle of oil is supposed to be on its way. Thank you for rectifying the situation in a timely manner. ???? Transaction and delivery went smoothly. Wouldn't say next day shipping but it came in a few days. Upon getting home I found the package on my step and to my dismay the bottle of oil that was in the package was and had been leaking for some time. It leaked a good liter worth of oil inside the package and seeped out onto my front step. Covered the rest of the items in the package with oil as well.

I’ve ordered from GermanParts a few times and for the most part they have been good. However, the latest order had an issue with the part being resealed in a bag. As a result of this issue, I received the wrong part even though the packaging said the correct part. This reviewed is geared kore to whoever repackaged the item. Luckily customer service was good in helping me resolve the issue. I would recommend checking the parts before you open the package with your original parts.

This place is amazing! I purchased two parts yesterday at 10pm and got an email this morning at 10:30am saying they would be ready for pick up after 11:30am. Received another email at 12:30pm saying my order was officially at the pick up location and ready for pick up. Picked them up at 1pm with no issues. 12 hour turn around time for only a $3 handling fee! This is what I call A++++ customer service! I ordered brake rotors/pads couple of weeks ago for our Audi. We are in Alberta and used the free shipping option. The package arrived in 2 business days, i picked it up from a UPS store, the whole delivery process was flawless. Update: Spoke with Vito over the phone who apologized for the mix up and took care of the issue to my 100% satisfaction. Beware of ordering online. I purchased a part that the website said would fit my car but didn't. I called and was told I could return it with no re stocking fee as it was their error. When I returned it by paying for the shipping myself I was charged the restocking fee. So I was out of pocket the restock, original shipping and return shipping for a product that didn't fit my car. I have sent you an email to your "contact us" email address as requested in your response. My previous email to that address went unanswered

Ordered parts for my car, they sent me wrong parts. When I called in to ask for a refund, I was asked to send them an E-mail. I e-mailed them over a week ago and I have not heard back anything yet and have parts that I can't use.

Three purchases so far; three great experiences. Used Penguin Pick-up option twice. I got same day pickup after 4:30pm in St. Catharines when ordering before business hours; next day pickup after 4:30pm when ordering after business hours. Got free shipping on one order to my home during a promotion that took a little bit longer, but the site had a notice saying that shipping would be delayed due to a higher number of orders taking advantage of the free shipping. The online chat inquiry function works great - Tim answered my question about when a part would be in stock within a couple minutes. Found this site after doing a Google search, and I won't be shopping anywhere else unless the part I want is out of stock here.

Ordered an oem valve cover from them , cracked within 1000km. So much for the warranty, no reply to any emails. Also ordered spark plugs in past and tried to email them To change order and no answer. Never again

I ordered the wrong parts. Needed 8 groove not seven. Called prior to shipping asking them to cancel the order. Left a message on their 1-800 number. Order was shipped and I was never called back. Emailed Anthony a week ago. No replies. I don’t recommend using them. Very unprofessional. Not to mention parts shower up damaged and the box doesn’t look like a new part

Do Not Order From Them. Ordered a part more than 8 days ago, online it said part would be delivered in 2 days. So far I have not even received a tracking number, although I contacted them a week ago and they said I would get one later that day. No tracking number... no part... I believe my next contact with them will be me cancelling my order. After reading other reviews, i see they are likely to ship the item long after you cancel your order... and in that case they woll still get it back, Im buying it elsewhere.

Fast Shipping!! Inspected the car in the morning, order part at 10am, shipped by 3pm, arrived next day at 5pm just how priority shipping should be! Good service & amazing oem parts. Never any hassle installing always a direct fit from interior, steering, suspension and even internal engine components they havent let me down. Pricing is confusing and irritating. Why do I have to pay more to come in store and pick up my parts? The price says 100 online but 110 in store but if I have to pay for shipping the real price is 115? Just seems frustrating and unnecessary. Also do not have much inventory, they also seem to not be able to order a lot of common parts. I tried this place out a couple weeks ago and when I picked up my parts I noticed that all the part#'s have been scratched off and replaced with their own part #'s. I would like to know that the part # I have just purchased matches what I ordered. If I make a big purchase I want to know 100% that they are not buying cheap chinese parts and repackaging them. Thank you for reply, On your website it does not mention any pricing for in store price. I would look online for pricing and believe an item is 75$ but when I come into the store to purchase it the price changes to 80 or 85$ dollars its just frustrating because if you look on your website to buy parts and see a price it should not matter whether or not I come in store or buy it online especially if it is not stated on your website. I live couple a couple minutes from your location and pass by it everyday to work why do I have to pay more to come into your store? If i ordered it online it would take a day or two to get to me why wait when I can just come by and pick up same day? What if my car was on the hoist and needed parts asap? What if i didnt have a credit card? Just seems like a lot of hassle to the customer. Furthermore, none of your competitors charge more to pick up in store.

Logistics nightmare with limited to non existent customer support. The first wheel bearing went fine. Next, I tried to order a steering lock for a 2011 Jetta. At this time, my vehicle is undrivable. On the day of delivery, Purolator tries to deliver, and I'm left with a message that the address is incomplete. Checking my order, I confirm that my full address including my apartment number is there. I call Purolator. 25 minutes later I get someone on the phone who says I can't get my shipment today but I'll get it tomorrow. After about an hour of arguing with them they finally hold it for pickup. I get the part, open it up. No special markings on the box or on the part, we inspect it for operation and the part becomes unworkable. Then we notice in the manual, do not turn before installing or the lock will be destroyed. Maybe we should have read this first, but even my couch had red tape on important areas saying "Read this first!". While I wasn't pleased, I accepted fault and ordered another one, out $140 bucks. New part, exact same problem with Purolator. Showed up, claim no apartment number on the package. Now I'm into this for almost $300. I am providing the accurate address; I did not choose Purolator, so I am not calling them again. I call German Parts; at this time my vehicle has been laid up for 2 weeks. I explain the problems I've been having with Purolator and the broken part. I said that this issue is incredibly inconvenient and is making me question whether I should continue to order from German Parts. German Parts claims the error is with Purolator, no apology, sorry for the inconvenience, sorry for the broken part, etc... I say ok, well German Parts chooses to hire Purolator for shipping, how about they call Purolator and sort this out. I'm told that I'll need to call Purolator and set up a case. I say that's not acceptable, I don't think I want to order from German Parts again. They simply say, ok. The apathy is ridiculous. The incompetence in shipping and refusal to take responsibility is not worth the 50 bucks saved. Will never, ever order from them again.

They have wide selection of genuine parts, but the price is not the best even at promotion. Also they have a unique part number which make you hard to compare price online. Their price for Brembo brake is expensive then part source. ======= Just add on, I got from Part source later last month for like 20% cheaper. Same day service. I would suggest people look for the part source and Canadian tire first.

I ordered the parts on saturday night and i picked up on monday afternoon. Picked up was fast within 1-2 business days but they gave me the WRONG parts that is different from what i ordered. I couldn’t fix my car because of their mistake. I ordered a $15 parts so i didnt bother exchanging or returning it, otherwise i would pay for the shipping fee to return it and 20% restocking fee and it would be a waste of my time it is not worth it. They already wasted my time I couldn’t drive my car for few days because they give me the wrong parts. I end up buying the parts on the dealer ship. So basically i spend double and wasted my time. The Price is reasonable but the problem is they give me the wrong parts such inconvenience. Thanks

Parts arrived a little slower than expected. Ordered a bunch of seals and orings for various cars. Opened the box to find it neatly packed, however every seal was in a zip lock bag with no part number. Very frustrating. Had to go look at my order and identify each seal as many were similar, measure and research so they could put away with the correct part number. Why they put them in a bag without any idenfication is beyond me, EVERY part would have had a sticker on the bag as they received it. For the little savings over the dealer price not really worth it. They have very few parts available for a "German" car specialist, I would guess just one supplier they are buying from. Watch out for handling fees and shipping fees, only free at certain times with a code. Autopartsway is faster and parts are clearly marked, however not always available or competitive either.

I've been taking my BMW to the Dealership for years because I wanted authentic parts to be used. Didn't know I could order parts from here, take them to the mechanic and save 50% on the repair bill. The staff was very patient with me, knowledgeable and the parts arrived the next day. By the way, great looking site.

Great experience, amazing service! I bought a set of rotors and pads for by VW Touareg but somehow ordered the wrong type of pads in the rear. Didn't have time to install them right away so I did it about 2 month after I got the parts. Even after 2 months they took the wrong pads back, reimbursed the purchase price and I bought the correct type of pads... No hassle... I am a really happy customer. Continue the good work!

Ordered a oil filter for the Mercedes along with a oil drain plug and a copper gasket. The packaging was solid and the Penguin pick up point was a breeze. Shipping is quick as well which is a plus during covid. One thing I did not appreciate was the fact that the sent be the wrong copper crush washer for the drain plug which I ordered from them. It did not fit. Besides that, their oil filter price was cheaper compared to Amazon and other places after shipping and tax so I will be getting it from here on out. If I get a correct gasket size next time I will bump this review to a 5 star. Update: Received the washer that was required at no charge, review changed from 4 to 5 stars.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Ordered an oil change kit with Liquimoly Ceratec for my BMW M3 and all parts arrived to my door next day, beautifully packaged. Ordered at 9am on tuesday and had my parts at 1030am the next day. Parts were OEM and the oil I chose was their Liquimoly 10w60. Still in disbelief at the speed of delivery. They sent wrong part (different brand of cheaper value) without my approval. After multiple calls and sending picture proof, I was asked to drive to the store and exchange the wrong part with right one, that too on a week day when its a working day for me. Neither anyone followed up after that not offered any help or refund for wrong part. Not a good experience..

Holy Guacamole. After ordering rotors from ScamAvatar (PartsAvatar) that never arrived after waiting for 1.5 weeks and promised an advertised "one to two day shipping promise / middleman warehouse service" I decided to check out GermanParts.ca Cancelled order on a Friday, ordered parts on a Saturday. Picked them up on a Monday at a pick up site after work, moreover it was already there after 1:30. The almost monthly(?) promo deals are great and the service is super reliable and trustworthy. Fast shipping, expansive inventory, big bright colours and simple website design made for a great experience. Canadian company too! Defo recommend ordering parts here!!
