Excellent service from Kandace. Very professional. Only downside was that the first tow truck driver who changed my tire and knew the spare didn't have enough air didn't wait to see if I could fill the tire with air. I was as in an accident where a Kenworth rear-ended my vehicle. I was on the phone with my Insurance provider for not even five minutes and KW towing showed up. Long story short, I let them know I would handle my own tow but they felt the need to ask me five times if I was sure. Then another truck from their fleet pulled up to ask me two more times. I would've given them the business if they were professional, maybe.

Very disappointed with the service from KW Towing. Got a flat tire on the 401 and needed a tow off the highway to the next exit. I ask the driver if he wanted me to put the car in neutral (standard) and take off the e brake. He said to put the car and neutral but leave the e brake on, he would take it off before we left. We started to drive down the 401 (90-100km/h) when he needed to pull over again to check something! He left my e brake on. After changing my tire, I've noticed a squeaking sound coming from my rear passenger side brake while driving (no braking). I think this service was very unprofessional.

I was in a car accident this morning and Paige showed up at the scene and I am disabled and you took really good care of me and made sure everything was good. She did all the paperwork for me even at the Collision Center then we went to Hefner Toyota as you did everything there for me also. She is an amazing woman and so caring and you took all my worries away. I cannot thank her enough. She brought me home and held me up so I can get into my house. If any other driver has stopped I'm sure I wouldn't have got the care of that I got with her. I'll never forget it. Thank you Paige.

My son was in an accident and asked the driver to drop it off at Myers Auto body (who we've always dealt with, the driver refused and took it to their own place. They are now holding the car(stating it is a right off) just for insurance pay saying they are still waiting to get paid...they only care about lining their pockets with money and not listening to the costumer. I was disappointed they took advantage of the Situation.Use them at your own risk.

Was a witness to a hit and run in Kitchener, off duty medic. Paramedics barley arrived before 3 KW towing tow trucks swarmed the scene. Keep in mind, police were not on scene yet at this time. Sharks surrounding a prey would be a good way to describe it…. A single vehicle, simple rear end on scene that was still in drivable condition, 3 trucks…. They listen to police scanners and rush to scenes. Towing companies get you with storage fees, rental and body shop kick backs and hustling. Check out some of their other reviews about ridiculous storage fees. Many times interfering with Fire, Ems and police operations and investigations on an accident scene. We have by-laws in KW stating tow trucks should not be within a certain distance unless called by a customer. Know your rights when it comes to towing. No one can force you to tow your car expect for a police officer. Call a company you trust, not the first truck that shows up

Dave was so helpful and gave such great rates. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fast service and the job done right! The tow driver was so helpful!!!! And the woman on the phone was so much help as well..and then you rent a car and you have to deal with the bald guy with glasses. The rudest most impatient customer service person I have ever met. He walks out and immediately starts throwing a temper tantrum, "oh my god! It's a new car! Oh my god, I cant believe this" even the mechanic he called over for an estimate told him to relax several times, and kept trying to reassure me that this happens; They are in the rental car industry. I proceeded to point out a scratch that I took full responsibility for and said I would pay whatever the estimate was. ($300 he said) a little pricey but I agreed to pay Then he asked what my deductible is. I tell him $1000 and now he notices another scratch that will cost another $500 to fix...$800 total, $901 with tax. Can you say scam! Then he holds me hostage on the lot until I either file a claim (which he reminds me 3 or 4 times it will raise my insurance rates if I do that) or pay him $800 right now. The bald headed guy also didnt realize i heard him tell the mechanic "I shouldn't have rented that bi**h a new car" . Super professional! Towing is great but DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!! ,its obviously a huge scam.. definitely go somewhere else. I guarantee you walk off the lot handing them you're credit card if you do

The first time I used KW towing was great! No issues ans they got my car safely to the shop in Kitchener after I had an accidnet in Mississauga. If that had been my final experience with them this would be a 5 star review but recently my car broke down on the side of the 401 at 1am. I called KW towing in panic of course my car was smoking on the side of the road on a dark patch of highway and I had men pulling over to gwak and harrass me. When I got the dispatcher I was in a state I’m by myself at night, i freaked out and the dispatcher instead of taking 5 mins to say “hey i’m here and we’re gonna get you through this” starts yelling at me! And telling me its not a big deal and that my vehicle was not fixed by him so he didn’t care. How dare you? I am alone and scared and a previous customer and this is how i’m treated? I ended up getting another tow truck to pick me up. I told the dispatcher at the end of the day when he answers the phone he KW towing he represents and is the face of the company if he can’t deal with people in crisis or know how to have proper phone manner with a customer then he shouldnt be working for KW Towing this has left the worst taste in my mouth and I doubut i’ll be using them again.

Our 2007 Honda Civic finally died in the middle of the road at Waterloo's King St N @ Weber St N. It was Saturday evening and the traffic was unforgiving with their judgemental looks and horns. We tried our best with hand signals and emergency lights to try to get the block of metal to the right lane at least. But, we didn't want to as that right lane was dedicated for right turn into Weber St N. I called them, they answered immediately and processed my emergency request. Barely 25 minutes in, a towing truck came into rescue! The guy was quick, knowledgeable and accommodating. The charge was quite high (but then again towing in Ontario is always like the wild west ????. Charge away as much as they want), but our car came in safe and sound. As far as that matters.

Worst people who takes advantage of the suffering customers. When I went back next day to get my truck. The lady at reception says an hour more than it took. I showed them the hours recorded in my phone which took less than 3 hours but I confirmed with the manager after I took off from yard. I asked to get hold of manager with whom I dealt with. He was in meeting whole day and went over the weekend. On Monday still not been able to get hold of him when I told I will pay for 4 hours now they charged me for parking for 4 days which was $600 more. Absolutely horrible people who charged me altogether $1775 for the job took less than 3 hours. These guys are not even worthy of 1 star.

This was around 6 pm on a Friday and I had to get back to st.catharines from Waterloo. They were also very friendly.

Stay away from KW Towing, over charging for simple tow where should be $70 when you call and get quote but after tow the bill is $1200 . What they do, they lie to me telling that is ride off and take my car to they yard so they can charge insurance company as much as they can.

My mother had an accident around 2 weeks ago, for her luck a diver of kw towing came to help her. I am going to be honest the driver himself was very polite and helpful, he explained us the whole process and we went on with it. My problem with this business is that they took advantage of the situation and were charging to much to the insures company to release the vehicle, which result in a loss of a good vehicle. they probably think no one loses but you are wrong. the way you do your business affect us drastically. at some point my mother contacted this towing company and was told by the receptionist that " she was too busy" and hang the phone. I hope I never have to deal with this company again

My son locked his keys in his car in the pouring rain. We called KW Towing and the staff that answered were concerned for my son and said they are getting someone there ASAP. The guy they sent was so nice and kind. This was after a different company That a stranger kindly called for my son, couldn’t get the car opened after two hours in the rain . It took Joe from KW a good ten minutes but he was so nice and kept going until it opened. We tried to give him a generous tip but he said he was just happy he could help and it wasn’t necessarY. He said he was lucky to have a job with Covid and to work for a good company that has supported him in this difficult time. Gave us a wave and smiled and said he was happy to help. Seriously, wow?!!! I am so grateful to Paige, my angel driver from KW Towing when I was stranded out in the middle of nowhere with my German Shepherd and my equally intimidating rescue dog. She recognized I was seriously stressed and immediately set to work helping me. She loaded up me and the furry beasts into her cab, even helping me to lift them into the truck. I couldn't believe it. She dropped my car off and even helped me to get home, knowing that finding a cab that would take all 3 of us would be difficult in the extreme. She has a customer for life!

Called KW Towing for a tow on my car as it kept switching to park on its own. The rep I spoke to explained that because of the type of car I had that I should make sure all the doors were closed and try again. It worked! He stayed on the phone with me while I checked if it would work and called the next day to make sure I got home safe. Saved me a couple hundred bucks. Very selfless company. It’s refreshing to see a tow truck company with female drivers! Paige arrive quickly, pushed my car up a hill, hooked up my car and then maneuvered out of a difficult parking lot. Then she called a mechanic to see if they could take my car. She’s polite, funny and was a pleasure to deal with. Certainly the best tow truck experience I’ve had. Hopefully I won’t need the services of a tow truck company again but if i do, you’ve got a repeat customer. Also if I could make a suggestion at the very least, give this girl a truck with air conditioning! She’s a hard worker and deserves it!

I was stranded on the side of the 401, where the construction is and traffic is extremely heavy, with 4 kids. Paige drove us all the way home to Woodstock. This company saved the day for me. If anyone needs a tow or finds themselves stranded cause their back wheel seized up please call this company. You wont be disappointed at all!!! While buying gas, I accidentally locked myself out of my car. I phoned KW Towing and they arrived within 15 min. Their charge was more than reasonable and the gentleman that helped me was awesome. I was back on the road in no time. Thank you. I highly recommend this company.

Just watched one of your drivers tailgate a bunch of cars on the expressway, hammering on and off the brakes the whole time, then cut someone off at the Victoria St exit, and then run a red light. All this on super slick winter roads. Reckless and irresponsible.

After being involved in a really bad accident, John (aka Moose) was my knight in shining armour. The first thing he did was come over and check to see that everyone was alright. He was wonderful talking to my kids and helping to calm them down and reassure them that everything was going to be okay. He was very professional and courteous to us and all the first responders. He quickly took charge of the situation and got everything cleaned up and traffic moving again in record time. John made a very scary situation so much better. If you have John as your driver, you will be in good hands!

Do not let these people tell you your car is a write off.. they are not insurance adjusters and they have no idea what your personal insurance policy is. This is a game to get more money from the insurance company that in the end costs you with higher pricing. They do not have the right to show up on their at an accident and put you in a no choice condition and tow your car. You have right don't let anyone take them from you. Be smart and call another company like Becker Bros or Active.

Waterloo region by law states that tow trucks are not to be 200m within a scene unless called. Any collision in the kw area, without fail 2-3 kw towing trucks lurking by. They Listen to ems and fire scanners. I’m a first responder, kw towing showed up faster than kitchener fire to a collision scene I was on last week. Know your rights. You have the right to refuse first on scene tow You have the right to an estimate of costs before towing You have a right to an itemized receipt and the right to pay with cash Tow cannot force you or tell you to move or tow your car after a collision, even if it’s sitting in the middle of the road, only police have that authority. No CAA contract or endorsement either says a lot. Unlike classic or code yellow towing in the area

They towed my car and it was like 15min way they took like 2hr and bring my car damaged which was quoted over $5 grand but they ignored and refused to pay ..defenently not recommend to anyone use their service.

The driver was very nice with my husband, and had his car towed to KW Towing's lot. However it sat there for like a month! This back and forth with them and insurance was insane. I heard from word of mouth that this company are crooks! When you keep the car there and not tow it to the shop that the insurance tells you to then that is stealing! We will never use this company again.

Overcharge you. Added services that aren't needed. Hold vehicles hostage to insurance company until they give into the charges. Throw any debris all over the inside of your vehicle instead of in garbage bags. Smoke in their tow truck.

The tonneau cover flipped on the driver it broke the window and he did not call me the owner of the truck he did tell my bro but found that really lame either way the dispatcher was really easy to work with and over all even with the driver doing that it was all really professional (trucks just a doner anyway) but the driver should learn the biz a little better and how to work with a customer's better s...t happens
