Great place, decent import selection most the time, and a great domestic selection, tons of trucks and vans if that's what you need. Wear some boots unless the weather has been consistently good to dry and shore up the ground, otherwise, it's a mud-bog. Name of the game with pick-n-pulls usually. The prices are stellar, don't expect to be spending over $100 unless you are getting something very large, integral, you'll know it when you see it. Only real issue I could ever take with the place is that in my experience you won't see a smile or get a response to even a "have a good one" here, nothing but grumpy faces in my experience. This isn't exactly relevant to the business (thus still 5 stars) but nothing like bad interactions sticking with you throughout the day.

Great place to visit and great prices. However, most vehicles are sitting directly on the ground so be prepared to raise your parts car with a jack and secure it safely. Lots of loose rims around to help with this. Maybe bring a shovel.

Great place :) worth a visit just to poke around and see what they've got. Iv always got a list in mind and the owner is very fair in his pricing, flat out refusing double (still a deal) iv never left this place empty handed and the parts have all worked out :)

A great experience. They try to keep the herd arranged by builder nameplate, so once you find the area of makes you need, you're not roaming the whole place. Still worth a complete lookover however. Wear boots as even on dry days, there can still be deep mudpuddles to navigate. Never had any interaction with the employees, but the lad in the office was great to deal with.

When I am back east, I always find time to visit Tim at Taft's. The office quickly becomes a hang-out for the spinning of tall tales. There is no doubt Tim can seem gruff on the phone, but he is nothing but a decent dude. He moves a LOT of metal so asking him on the phone what he has in the yard is not going to go the way you want it to. When scrap prices are high, there wont be as many vehicles, that's just the way it works. It's one of the few yards of it's type and is always worth a browse. If you aren't willing to take the drive and have a wander, don't bother. I hope it is still operating when I can come for another visit; Been a few years now.

Taft's is great. I had to scrap a car so I called around to a few places and Taft's had the best rates going. They were quick, thorough and I left with more money for the car than I expected. Everyone was very friendly as well. I highly recommend this business if you need to scrap a vehicle.

Normally decent place but I called an asked about mk4 jettas as I had to drive 49mins there and the older guy that owns an runs place told me "I have all kinds of cars here to many to count" so I drove down with tools in hand, but upon arrival there was 30 cars or so might have been abit more than that but they just cleared an crushed 96% of the vehicles there. Dissatisfied with inept owner WASTE OF TIME.

Great place to get parts to save yourself hundreds that the garage would charge you. Owner has incredible knowledge and you can tell has a desire to be helpful. Cant argue with the prices they are so low.
