Basically not a community oriented business. Just take the money and run. They give nothing back! It’s noted by everyone that this company gives nothing back to the community. Very disappointing.

Fairly simple procedure and place to take away trash. The customer service was wonderful and they always had an answer for my questions during my first time stopping by. Hours aren't as crazy as they seem honestly. They do change in the winter and fall, but nothing too inconvenient. I've always had a good experience and I'm diligent about checking the hours if I need to haul a large load over.

My husband and I are elderly and sometimes we can not get the can all the way out to the curb for pickup. Our driver told us not to worry about it and to just make it visible from the road and he will come and wheel it to the truck for dumping. How nice is this? He always waves and smiles. So far we have not needed that special need but it is sure good to know the service is there.

Called Waste Management three times to ask why web site for St.Ignace showed transfer station open today from 07:30-1700 and was told they had no reason why. Hauled a large trailer to site only to have it closed. After going through the entire system of automated calling three times and spoke to three individuals, I was told the information was wrong and it is only open Friday and Saturday. Again asked about posting of time open and was told ..."that's not my area and I can't answer your question...is there anything else?... NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. TRY TO USE ONLINE AND ONLY CAUSED ME MONEY AND FRUSTRATION.

Changing hours of operation without updating the website is irritating. Thanks for closing two hours early without notifying the public while I have a truckload of garbage to drop off. I’ll deal with Smith Sanitation from now on.
