Here you will see all the reviews of real people like you who are purchasing the services and products of Bucks Auto Parts Saskatoon (Scrap Yards) in Saskatchewan (Canada).
Right now the business has a rating of 3.3 out of 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is discreet, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we may say that the score is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Scrap Yards belongs to the category of Auto parts store.

Had everything i needed for my dodge caravan. And cheap

Owner is rude. Parts are overpriced

Good place to get parts. Good job guys

Very competitive prices and good service.

They have parts and a lot of good ones at that, cars are on rails so its easier to get at some, but the staff is kind of rude most of the time, especially around closing.

The guy was ignorant and they priced should be the same as regina but nope way over priced

Bigger guy up front is rude and doesn't even want to be their. Poor service, the prices have changed between weekend to weekend. Parts get deliberately broken by people for no reason whatsoever. Definitely would never recommend anyone to go here.

I drove 372km back and forth because it said that they are open 9am - 5pm. We arrived 4:30pm to be exact but they didn’t let us in, I tried to appeal to the front desk staff to let us in and before 5pm we will go out with or without parts but still no consideration. If that is there policy, I respect. Even just that time only, but they have NO CONSIDERATION!!

Nice access to vehicles, cheap

(Translated) The got part (Original) Dem got part

Found what I was looking for, and the price was really reasonable

A discount would be a nice touch if a part is broken but still usable.

Great experience! is by far my favorite and least sketchy auto wrecker in and around stoon.

Staff no good

Great place, seems like they always got what I need when nowhere else does . Pricing is great too, if you want full service where all you do is call and pick up then go to Amigos but you will be paying alot more as well.

Do you have a ford ranger 2006 or any ford ranger or some with different years will work.

Honestly, the worst auto parts lot I have ever been to. The owner is a joke; belittling at best. Super unimpressed with the service here. I would gladly go anywhere else than here even if Buck would save me a dollar or two. Buyer beware. This place sounds good in theory, horrible in practice. #bucksucks

Only one complaint. The bigger guy who works at the front is a jerk and brings it out on people who bring business there! Think I'm joking go in and witness it urself! Hahah other than that it's a great salvage yard.

Patience you'll get what you need

Overall a great selection of vehicles. Okay prices. I will note that don't trust the Bucks website for an inventory of vehicles or prices phone them and ask before going. I guess they got hacked a while back and they can't properly update the website anymore. But unlike other places like the Regina Bucks's and other auto wreckers the vehicles that they have don't seem to be as picked over. Would recommend.

Big guy at front desk ain’t all so friendly, very rude and doesn’t show any sign of wanting to be there... otherwise parts are usually good condition and work, very reasonable prices, and helpful staff! Would recommend going there for any parts needs!

Very well laided out yard.

Great selection, frozen ground today so no mud pit to deal with. Good guys, straight up and honest.

Pick your own parts yard. Good selection and cheap prices if they have what you need!

All the stuff there mean and not nice at all. Just listen to me and Don’t go there.

very decent place . Cars are lifted and that increases access to body parts. The big guy is not so friendly but it is just a personality issue so it does not affect me. The slim guy is so customer friendly n high professional.

Fast car rotation, friendly staff, good prices, accurate website listings, follows covid precautions.

Very friendly.

Good place to pick up auto parks quick

Everyone giving bad reviews are just idiots. It is a self serve wrecking yard. The prices are clearly marked on the wall. If you cant figure the rest out, go to a full service wrecking yard like amigos auto. Its not their job to go see if your junk is out in the yard. Go look yourself. If you need someone to hold your hand, hire a private mechanic. I've always had great luck getting what I need here. The British girl at the front counter (if shes still there) was so nice to me ????.

Not the cheapest in Saskatoon area, and sadly the yard stock changes very frequently, before you get a chance to finish picking from a car often.

Great prices

Great , just visit with your tools

If you've got an old car and the knowledge on pulling parts, there's no cheaper salvage yard around.

Good prices, I like removing my own parts. Like the vehicles organized and on racks. Feel safe when I am working.

Garbage customer service, wouldn’t even give one star if it gave the option. Do not recommend.

Don't waste your time if you're looking for something specific. Their website inventory isn't kept up to date. I wasted an hour looking for a vehicle that wasn't there.

Great place and I've never left disapointed. Always got what I need and owner/staff are very friendly and prices are good too. A great go-to car parts place in my opinion if your okay getting your hands dirty. I've tried places like amigos but they charge alot more.

Great prices and generally friendly and helpful.

Good place for car parts

The Owner is extremely rude does not make you feel welcome at all. The prices vary on whos working.

The yard is clean and well organized. All the vehicles are on stands with ample room to work on them. They have plenty of vehicles to choose from. The most popular models have the biggest selection. Prices are fair but beware as some parts can be bought new for about the same price.

Prices are great and open 7 days a week.

Not much help or very friendly

worst service ever the man on the phone was very rude and gruff did not make me want to sell any used cars to bucks and to top it off i was quoted one price when i went through there website then when i called after being treated rudly was told o no sorry we can onbly pay you a much lower price then originally quoted

good services great sized yard can find even some more rare to find vehicles great prices

Cheap pick-a-part autowrecker.

Terrible experience. First time going to this site, and I learn I had to pay 3$ entrance fee. I pay for a group of us to enter, then the store front guy tells me they don't have the vehicle I'm looking for. He continued to tell me it's my fault for not checking that the vehicle is there first and refused to give me back my entrance fee. Common sense escapes this group, the only good thing that comes from this is he gave me the wrong change back and I've nearly got all my money back. Good thing they don't count well. If something simple can't be reasonably negotiated, I'm sure the big problems will be a nightmare. I would look at the other wreaker yards first.

Alright I have to write a review after reading these. Bucks is decent. Yes sometimes the inventory online is off. But come on. If your looking for a single part off a car. Your taking the chance that someone else hasn't gone and grabbed it first. If you want the part for sure. Buy new or call amigos for double the price in some cases. Yes the guy at the front can be grumpy and may not greet you with a smile and a hug. Yes He may tell at people over the microphone. But hey if you had punks coming in daily and wrecking hundreds of dollars worth of your inventory would you not wanna say something to them right then and there. Instead of walking through the yard trying to find them to say stop? Tell Me, how many windows could someone smash in that yard before you finally found and caught up with them? Back to my review. I always find something I need. And a few things I want. Super cheap. Quick drive from my driveway working on my truck to bucks is like 15 minutes. Returning something that doesn't work within the 90 days is a God damn breeze. 10/10 would go again.

Pretty goofy. Says it closes at 5 on sundays, 4:30 and they won't let you in. Why advertise hours you don't keep?? Wasted trip.

Having driven out there turned out to be a waist of time. Apparently you need proper footwear. Looked on their website, no indication this is required. I guess we are just suppose to know? A real p-off, no help or consideration from employee.," don't let the door hit you on the way out ". Will be spending my money elsewhere. Visited June 3/19.

Wouldn't let my 15 year old in with his dad because he wasn't 16 on the weekend. Were looking for parts for his 16th birthday. Jerk move

Never come here. Seriously, it's the worst place. If bad experiences were spawned anywhere on this earth, here is the exact spot from which they would emanate.

Very rude and aggressive men working. No customer service.

Really appreciated the way the vehicles are set up off the ground safely to make it easy to get under the vehicle if needed. Snow was cleared so it was easy to reach any and all vehicles.

The website says they're open until 5 but they're not.

Very unsatisfied with their lack of public interaction and respect for their customers. Well organized, reasonable prices, large inventory. My issue lies in the management. Often times rude and arrogant with no interest in customer service. They advertise being open 7 days a week, including holidays. This is great for when you are in desperate need, which I was today. I arrived at 12:30, well within the parameters of their "10-4" holiday hours, only to find the front gate chained closed. My ride and I waited for a while, trying to comprehend why the sign directly in front of us says it's open, but it's locked. No signage to indicate a change in schedule, a time of return, or any explanation for the situation. Being that it was the noon hour, we came to the conclusion that they are likely out for lunch, and would hopefully be back fairly soon. We left to get lunch ourselves, and returned about an hour later to find the gate still locked. At this point, we were not the only unhappy customers in desperate need of auto parts that drove all the way to Bucks only to find out they do not hold true to their falsely advertised boast of holiday hours.

Absolutely amazing place to go!!! Small inventory but very good prices and friendly staff. Called around Saskatoon for passenger side mirror and a few door parts. Everyone wanted $60+ for the mirror. Bucks charged me $45 for mirror, door actuator and handle. Will be going back there for anything I need.

I've always had a lot of help whenever I've asked for it good prices big selection of cars

Fair prices and good selection.

Decent prices, open 7 days a week

Staff and facility could be kept up with renovation and staff could be more polite

Employee behind the desk Saturday was not wearing a mask even though signs everywhere saying they’re mandatory. Touching our stuff and just 0 customer service while having 0 respect for public health guidelines

Went there this week. The man at the counter was extremely rude, and yells at people over the microphone!

I have been using bucks (car mart)since i was 16 i am 41 now, they have always have at some point the parts that i am looking for. Its tougher now to find anything later than the 90's but that's expected since most have been parted out and crushed. But if you have a vehicle newer than that and you need anything go out there and take a look, only if your half mechanically inclined though because you will need to source and remove your own parts with your own tools.

The guy in the front desk is extremely rude. Zero customer service! Do not waste your time going to this place.

I have great experiences here, buy your bucks card and enjoy a casual pick a part where you remove parts carefully from a very good inventory of domestic and import vehicles. Really fair prices, especially when you package together. Friendly and committed staff. Would've given 5 stars but cars are on the move really fast, and I missed out once.

Very rude customer service

The guy working there is EXTREMELY RUDE and not nice at all!!!!! I do NOT recommend going here!

September 26th 2021, Employee behind the counter was not wearing a mask in coordinance with the mandate in place. I was here two times early and late in the day, both times this was the same.

Went this morning after phone and talking to the guy. Just looks at me and doesn't even give the time of day and answered me eyes down and straight no's..went to part source and received everything needed..

Found my car there

good selection and nicely organized yard. I like it

Great deals,friendly staff

the owner is very rude and not helpfull at all

Terrible experience..no cart service if you buy big stuff you carry itt by yourself.....

Prices for electric components priced to high. Minimal help from owner or counter person as to location of some vehicles not signed. No advertised inventory i could find on the vehicle i was looking for , did find a vehicle i was looking for after 2 trips only to be told an unreasonable price. Would be the last place i would buy. Only if i could find inventory and fair pricing before hand with out a trip , looks like that's not going to happen any time soon. It's to bad because there are a few things i like about this yard. This Guy lost a simple sale because he was overpriced and gave NO service. If i could only give half a star the would be too much

Not too bad better then I was told people should ease up on bigguy and maybe complain about manager Richard Monzo,he's the puppet master out there the way he dictates the company is a shame

Well organized yard competitive prices

my experience is excellent whenever I am dealing with ED. He is great person Friend and highly professional. He has the solution of every problem in the yard. Very cooperative and well behaved person. I personally like him because of his work skills. Ed is the great asset for this auto wrecking company. Best of luck for his future endeavors.

Decent prices. Okay selection.

Don't have a good selection. There s better selection around the city

Hauled a car there for scrap and was paid in cheque few days later the cheque bounced causing my bank account to be held and the next three days was spent dealing with that. If you want to get paid take your car somewhere else.

It was good experience. Yhere are a wide variety of vehicles and there is most likely the vehicle or vehicles to choose from.

Very friendly and helpful.

The owner is rude and unfriendly I will not recommend anyone to go there

Organized

The guy at the counter needs some costumer skills. He is sure grumpy, maybe he doesn't want to be there.

Probably the worst customer service I' have ever received, waste of a trip.

The owner should show more respect to the customers.
