Kevorkian love (Kevorkianlove)
They were a few hours late on the day of pick up, but that is to be expected with these services and was not a problem. The problem is that I paid them $80 to remove my stuff so I wouldn't have to worry about it, and they left several larger items in the small lobby of my apartment building (which I did not discover until much later that evening). What is the point of hiring a service if that service is not performed? When I sent an email and a text with a photo, the response I got was "IF that happened.... we'll send a truck to pick up the items" (emphasis mine). Ok, when? Are we just going to play chicken with my landlord now? Honestly really disappointed. They sent a text at 10am the next day saying "I promise we will come back and retrieve anything left behind", but by 9pm they had not communicated further and had not come back. My very unhappy landlord contacted me, and we ended up dealing with the rest ourselves. I found the person I was communicating with to be unhelpful in that he first suggested my situation was in doubt (despite the picture I sent?), and suggested that I put a note stating "free if needed" on the items left. That is not the point, man. I understand mistakes happen, but if I wanted things left in the lobby I would have done that, and ultimately I had to deal with it myself. I appreciate the refund, but I will not be using this service again. And replying to a review accusing a customer of being unreasonably upset when your company messes up is not a cute look.
