Staff is helpful and they seem to carry a good supply of stock. Willing to order what they don't have on hand. Good sized parking lot, which only makes sense, and it's well situated on North Albert. Nothing to really set it apart from other parts stores, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do.

Prices are hit as miss, as is dealing with the staff. Their phone customers seem more important than the ones standing at the counter with cash in hand. Staff has failed to mention options when choosing different grades of parts, such as telling me they are selling premium brakes when they are selling me mid grade, and when I phone the next day for the same year model of vehicle, get a different clerk, and now my options change?! Meanwhile they've had stock of all grades all along and failed to relay me the proper information. It would be nice if the staff were more knowledgeable, or at least give the perception, and valued walk in customers a bit more.

I just bought an oil today for my VW GTI and they were quick to respond. They asked me to wait at the front to pickup my stuff due to COVID lockdown and the staff came over and handed me the right oil as per my request. Keep up the good service. Just sad they closed the Midland/Lawrence branch as that's where I usually get my parts. Either way they helped me with my car part needs. ????????????

I’ve shopped here on occasion. A great place to find general common parts without going to Canadian tire. Staff: staff have always been pleasant. I have I. Occasion ran into some whom made question their knowledge. But that happens everywhere Parts and selection: I typically buy oil, filters, odds and ends for tools, and the odd diy parts (brake pads/calipers, wipe motors, gasket kits etc). I’ve always had success with what I was looking for. Storefront: usually tidy and presentable. Sometimes the location of items make it hard to find, but it’s not a huge area, so it’s not a big deal. Overall: I’d recommend this place for standard parts and maintenance items. If you require more detailed parts, go to your dealership.

The staff are friendly and found me the parts I needed. They showed me their selection and differences between name brand OEM and jobber prices. When I started working on my truck, I realized I didn't need to replace my rear brake pads. I took them back with zero issues. For the first time, I "rented" a tool from their store. I just wanted to use a torque wrench on my wheel nuts. He said they usually charge $144 for a day to borrow the tool. I said I just wanted to use it in the parking lot to quickly tighten my wheel nuts. He just left me leave my wallet with him so we avoided writing up a rental agreement and dealing with paying and refunding. I was really pleased with the whole experience.

The new staff at this location are incredibly unprofessional. I was looking for brake pads, and as they searched for it were talking about how a customer who came in earlier was unappealing in their appearance and was complaining about a previous purchase all while I was there. Also they are owned by Canadian Tire, but that specific day Canadian Tire had brake pads and rotors on sale for 50% off, but Part Source wouldn't match the price. Was incredibly annoyed, wouldn't recommend this location or any other until they start Price Matching like NAPA.

My first time to this location. Was next in line and waited forever. The Asian customer apparently knew the Indian guy that worked at the cashier was flirting with each others. They were just talking about how's life and stuff... It should be customer first. Andy was actually helping out his customer then me right after. Very helpful guy.. Got to give this store a 2 star.

I walked into the store, took a jug of antifreeze off the shelf and just as I was putting it on the counter, the phone rang. Well we all know that the tire kicker on the phone is more important than the customer who is actually standing there ready to buy, so Ryan took the phone call. Several minutes into this call, the phone rang again. While there were a total of four staff visible to me, Ryan I guess is the only one able to answer the phone, so naturally he answered that call and put them on hold. The first call ended, without acknowledging me, Ryan immediately took the second call. Then the third phone call came in. Same thing. After the second call concluded, Ryan finally acknowledged me but immediately took the third call. At this point I interrupted him, told him I was in a hurry and suggested that if he couldn't handle my purchase, one of the other staff could. He replied that he was the only one on till and then took the third call. I left the antifreeze on the counter, walked out, drove down to Piston Ring where I was served immediately. I will not be back to Parts Source.

I have gone here for years and I don't think I've ever had a good experience. I try to avoid if possible. The staff always seems like they don't have time for you. I know a lot about cars and I have had them try and argue with me on things. The other day the guy told me that a part wasn't available because the manufacturer hadn't released it yet.... It's for a 2001. I always try and use the rockauto website. It's a quarter of the price and you don't have to deal with staff who think they know what you "actually need".

The staff at the Albert St. store are useless. They know next to nothing about vehicles let alone parts even when specifically told which parts. Cannot communicate properly over the phone and I would advise saving the hassle and going to the east location where their staff is actually knowledgeable. Too many times now I've tried to deal with the Albert location and have been severely let down by either the customer service representative not knowing anything or even being able to look a part up or I have been given the wrong part. Avoid and save time to get your vehicle on the road quicker.

Ordered a part for my car on Friday. They had to get it from a third party so I had to pre-pay. They would not take my credit card over the phone so I had to physically go there (which was a slight inconvenience). I asked how much it was, they told be $19 and some change. I go there to pay for said part and told them I would like to put it under an account on file to get the discount. This inflated the price to $26 and then discounted it from that, which I paid roughly $17 after the discount. Watch the prices when going to buy parts here if you have an account!

I stopped in mid-day on Dec. 22 and purchased 2 new wiper blades. I'm generally a self-serve kind of guy but an employee asked if he could help me. I told him what I needed and what kind of car (my wife's) and he picked the two (as they are different sizes) from the selection and handed them to me. When I arrived home later I went to install them but only one was the correct fit for my wife's car. It was almost 5:00 but I live very close and wasn't sure if they closed at 5 or 6. When I pulled up the store lights were on and I could see two employees standing behind the counter. They both turned and I could tell they could see me. By the time I'd grabbed my part turned off the ignition and got out of the car, the one employee (same guy who'd helped me earlier) had made his way to the front door and locked it as I approached. He made eye contact with me and I held up the part. He opened the door a crack and asked how he could help me. I explained and he simply said I'd have to come back tomorrow. I said "but I'm here right now". He said he couldn't help me because he was "locked out of the system". I told him this is terrible service. He locked the door in my face. When I got back in the car the time on the clock was 5:05. Despite the proximity of this store to my home I will never shop there again.

Terrible Place !!! I ordered an air filter ( KN brand) from this store and Anthony assisted me with that order. Once I opened the box at home I end up getting a Fram (brand) inside the KN air filter box. Very disappointed !! Since I had to make my way all the way back to this store to get it exchanged. Another dude name Jason assisted me and casually tells me " yeah this happens often at this place". It's very sad to know that places like this exist. Majority of people depend on parts source, or other shops who sell parts. The end part is funnier. The manager over hears the conversation between myself and Jason and offered me 1$ discount for the inconvenient. These people don't know how to treat their customer or run the business. Staff seemed to be particularly unknowledgeable, impolite, and unhelpful. I tried to ask a simple question over the phone, and the young man who answered the phone was clearly too busy to put any effort into answering my question, nor did he know anything about parts (makes me wonder about the hiring process?). I wasted my time coming down in person, and discovered that they did not have the supply I needed (I could have very easily been told this over the phone). As a result of my (wasted) trip, I was too late to make it to a store that actually had what I needed before they closed. I'm very unhappy and won't be returning because unfortunately this is not the first time that staff have been rude and ignorant.

Came in ordered parts they made me at to bring them from another store before they would order. Wrong parts show up. I forgot receipt the same girl who and ordered wouldn't give me a refund two hours later. Had to go back and get my receipt. Wont go back

I called and asked them if they have rotary sandpaper rollers for the tool . He said no . I called Pickering and they said yes .both location have them . I checked online and both location have them . I went to your store and purchased it and he brings the bag to me with the wrong part . If you guys don’t know the products of part source or products of auto body shop . Simple don’t work there .waste of time . !!!! There two other guys old timers which really help you out and know their thing .

I bought a pair of wipers for my car. After a few months the rubber started to come off. I called them with a reference number for the warranty that came with the purchase. From the get go, they seemed hesitant about replacing the blade, and the guy on the phone asked if I purchased from this location . I told him no, I think it was a different location. He said ok come in we will replace it. After going in, I gave them the reference number and the guy asked me to bring the defective wiper blade inside. Then after doing that, he asked me if I had a receipt. I said no, it's been a while I didn't keep it. So he said, no problem and printed out another copy of the receipt. Then after a few minutes another guy came to the counter, and started saying that the warranty doesn't cover if the rubber part becomes detached. He tried to say that the reason could be because I tried to clean ice with the wiper. I told him, no I always use a scraper to clean the ice from the windshield. Again hesitantly, he said, ok we will replace it and asked another employee to bring the replacement blade. Then he asked if I had a receipt again. Again I said no, but the other gentleman printed a copy. He said, no that's not valid and because I purchased from a different location I needed an original. The other location was far from my current location, so very inconvenient to go there, but it was quite obvious that they were coming up with any excuse to not have to honour my warranty. Terrible customer service for such a well known parts store. I told them, you will not be getting my business anymore, took my defective wiper and left.

You have to go into the store and wait in line for 10 minutes. Because if you decide to call.. Be ready to wait on hold for an average of 15 minutes every time. I challenge anyone reading this to call partsource and see if they get put on hold. I have never been helped before getting put on hold for 10-15 minutes. EVERY TIME. WITHOUT FAIL

Disappointed…Unknowledgeable and unfriendly staff…piss poor customer service skills…just absurd! Thanks to JAGSON for a truly unprofessional experience…next time, just listen to your customer…rather than express that you can’t do anything. It was as simple as looking up the part in your system…in stock or not…rather than me having to dismantle from vehicle…in the cold…and, return with it! The info is on/in your system! Or…is it that you have an issue serving certain clientele!? Regardless…I will not return to this location…ever! No stars! Needs at least 1 to post…

Had the parts I needed and cheapest around. And to those idiots who rate low because you have to hold, stop being so lazy and get off your asses and take a trip down to the store. Of course paying customers are going to come first. And boohoo if you have to stand in line for a few, you've never stood in line at a grocery store before???
