Not bad, if you don't mind doing their work yourself. If you enjoy finding extremely used parts with limited selection and then being charged a high price for it, more than new in some cases, then you will enjoy this experience. You'll also be fond of this place when you find out that they pull a price directly from their bum and then won't budge on said price. Well worth the visit even of you aren't looking for anything, just try obtaining something, you'll be in for a treat. In short, there are several other places which are more reasonable in every other way but why go there? You've got nothing but free time and extra cash! A1 Willy's

It's ok. Sometimes they have the odd part that you might need. Problem is that often Auto Value can get the same part brand new for the same price or maybe 15% more. They are also completely unwilling to bargain on parts, even when buying multiples. This seems like a pretty bad business model to me. I can often bargain a better price when I buy things at Canadian Tire, but they won't budge on used stuff that is sitting around? Doesn't make sense to me. I will still use them, but only if I can't replace it with a brand new part from the multiple other channels now available to the modern consumer.

Ive been here for parts a few times, for different vehicles. The price is always decent. Im leaving a review because my last visit I received excellent service from the staff. They went out of their way to pull the piece for me and have it ready on short notice. I was able to change my part the day prior to my wife's brain surgery and make it back and forth from Red deer to Calgary.

Rude. Rude. Rude. When a potential customer calls to inquire about their vehicle and the services required, one shouldnt be made to feel as if they are intruding and wasting valuable time. . Not a great way to gain business. I had been pointed in Willy's direction by a family that brought a ton of business. Spoke very highly of the place. I have to disagree. 2 phone calls was enough to know I wouldnt want dealings with people who clearly have no knowledge on communication with the general public.

I would give this place less then one star if I could. Been there 2 times looking for parts for my mustang. The old curmudgeon that owns the place is less then helpful. You feel like you are wasting the little time he has left!!!! My advice save the gas and time look elsewhere!!!!!

These guys charge more for used than new! Needed 2 rear door handles for my 14 year old car, and he wanted 35 dollars each!! Called partsource and the wanted 25 each brand new.... seems to be common with all the wreckers in red deer area! In edmonton or Calgary they want 7 dollars used..

These guys are great when you know what your looking for. Keep in mind these guys are auto wreckers and not a new parts place, needed a dimmer switch for my truck. was an easy in and out. paid 20$ for my part vs the 80$ new, and got the whole housing and not just the switch.

Made me a deal he would give me a battery if I brought him my old one back as I was selling the truck got the wrong battery (my fault) Brought the battery back and he refused to even give me a 10$ deposit. For the core return last time I buy anything from him. Alix auto wreckers are a much better price and will work with Ya on a deal. Worth the drive.

I take my van here for repairs. Jack and Elmer are very hard working. I always get a good price, often get little things thrown in for free if he sees a quick fix or a quick replacement. I find them to be honest and fair.

I have been to Willy's maybe half a dozen times since 2009. I don't live in Red Deer so it is usually when I find myself stranded. I have always found them friendly and willing to accommodate. Their prices are fair both for the parts and the labour to install them. They are fast. This week while working in Red Deer I could not get my car started after a person I was helping boost their car crossed the polarity on the cables on their end. After trying several things I had my car towed to Willy's. I figured I tried a starter motor or a circuit to it. Willy's checked the car quickly and called to say my battery was weak and I likely needed a new one. They didn't try to sell me a used one not did they install unneeded parts. They were honest and charged me a fair price for diagnosing my trouble. I recommend them to anyone. To those below who commented on their selection or price, some people expect parts for nothing. Willy may not have as big selection as some places. His space is somewhat limited and he needs to keep vehicles on hand that he has higher demand for. As to people whin8ng about Willy's prices I have always found them a fraction of new and often people are not happy if they think a business might actually make a profit. They want goods and services for next to nothing wherever they go. I have worked in service and retail for 30+ years and I see that type of person often. They get mad when you won't discount your products or services. Business owners and their employees are not charities and they expect to make enough to live. If you are unreasonable in your expectations and rude, you might get a negative reaction. If you are reasonable and fair, you will usually get the same back to you. I have always found Willy's and the staff to be fair, reasonable and friendly.

Wrecked my car and needed it gone as I had no where to keep it. As I gave them the car for free I was expecting even the slightest bit of appreciation or respect but instead I received rude service. Was hoping to take radio and headlights I had just put in the car out but was rushed and overwhelmed. Do not recommend dealing with these people.

These guys really don't know how to talk to a potential customer on the phone. The guy just muttered "willys" as a way of answering the phone... very unprofessional. I should have hung up the phone right then and there, but I asked for my part anyway. The guy just said "haha good luck with that". At that point I really knew this place was a lost cause. I immediately phoned Popo's in Lacombe and got a five-star worthy experience. After reading the other reviews I'm guaranteeing these people over charge and don't know what they're talkin about. Don't waste your time or money.

Wicked good dudes. As long as you're not expecting obsequious service and a polished shop this is a great place. I love these guys for oddball parts and quick repairs. Decent inventory of used parts and I'll do new repairs as well.

Bought a cv axle from these guys and it was caked in old grease and looked like it had been sitting in a gravel pile in the rain had water all inside the cv joint and a bunch of grit. For the price I paid I might as well have bought brand new too. Wouldn't recommend unless it's the last place you have to buy parts
