I brought 11 jumbo garbage bags of semi-mixed cans and bottles in this morning, was done inside of 20 minutes and had a great conversation on top of it. Total was within $0.30 of what I had figured. Zero complaints!

Shouldn't publish that they open at 8:30am when only 1 window opens out of 5 when u call from the lineup of 8 cars they say the rest open at 9am . Just so disappointed they should be honest and say 20% open at 8:30am.

Jeez people. It's recycling for the good of our planet. Not to make an income. It's busy because it's busy. They count trough thousands of cans a day. Sorry if they missed one . Bunch of grumbling babies. Service is good and timely

My husband and son visited location this passed weekend to bring back a truck load of bottles. The lady that helped them was extremely rude. She chastised him because one bag had some straws and wrappers, I am assuming people at a get together mistook recycling for garbage. Fair enough, that was our mistake. Husband was very apologetic and promised to be more mindful. He attempted small talk, but lady simply ignored him. He even raised his voice incase she couldnt hear him, but she continued to ignore him. Close to end of the bottles she called him over and told him that it is not her job to clean his garbage and to use his own garbage can. Hubby is starting to get annoyed because there is no way she found a lot of garbage in our recycling. We are very mindful, we ensure all bottles have caps removed and are rinced out. Not saying mistakes cant happen like a few bags from the get together we had, but for most part we are very careful. When hubby asked what she was referring to, she told him our milk jug can be put in our own garbage, it's not her job to do that. Hubby was confused, they were clean, crushed, and recyclable why would we put in garbage. I guess we r supposed to put in a side bin. We normally go to a different recycling depot and they do this for use, no complaints. Why she would be telling us to throw away and not just explaining where to recycle is beyond me. The interaction with this staff member was deplorable. My husband and son were respectful, polite and apologetic for their mistakes. They did not deserve to be treated so negatively. we will not be visiting this location again.

I usually go here 1 to 2x a year. I would have liked to say i normally enjoy my visits there. This last visit, I have never felt less a person. All this lady done was complain. Not directly at me but to her coworker. Yes I may have been the last person she had to deal with of the day but it doesn't matter if I am the last or the first. IN ALL THE YEARS OF WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC, YOU NEVER TREAT PPL LIKE YOUR BETTER. YOU TREAT PPL LIKE THEY ARE YOUR NEXT BOSS!!! She was slamming things around. Making coments of how disgusting things were. Because i double bagged my bottles, how slimmy things were. She was talking so loud so I could hear her. But when I left I usually leave a tip but with that attitude, NO WAY!!!

Express drop off works great. No need to sit in line waiting and burning gasoline. Print off express labels, stick them on your bags and drop them off.

The atmosphere is not that great as the employees all look upset and talk to you in an annoyed tone. There are a few employees who are awesome and very sociable however. Also, it's impossible trying to phone them to inquire about accounts, business hours, etc. as they do not answer their phones. Regardless, my experience is good every time I go there.

I was watching them very closely and there were several bottles not included in my refund. I understand it happens but that many times is deliberate. This is based only on my most recent visit and I usually tip but this time I didn't as I feel they already got their tip. Other than that I didn't have as long of a wait as I thought I would and they are following social distancing guidelines. UPDATE I was so ripped off there the other day it wasn't even funny. I am 100% on this because first of all I had 30-40 2L bottles and my receipt said 6. That's only the beginning. I went at about 430pm. The place closes at 530pm. The first thing I hear when I walk in is an employee yelling and swearing about how they won't be getting off work on f$%*ing time. Then he asked me how much more empties I had and implied that if I had many more he wasn't going to serve me. Then I was harsh ripped off. I almost want to count them before hand next time just to see. I know it's bound to happen that some don't get counted but this was at least half of what I brought was not refunded.

They don't require people to sort out their own bottles before bringing it up to the counter, which holds up the line, I have to wait an hour before even bringing my bottles up (that I have sorted already).

Full of min wage employees most seem like druggies, line moves ridiculously slow as employees take their time counting bottles can't blame them though for being minimum wage employees guess I'm saying there might be better service and faster drive-thru if they actually paid their employees enough for a living wage. Service is slow. They seem to have stopped counting 24 cans as 12 thought so that's the only good thing. My recommendation go to the heart bottle Depot they're incredibly helpful there's no drive-thru but they won't rip you off either

Some of the staff wont accept recyclable milk containers and with bad attitude for this I will never return to this depot.

A few good employees but a job like that obviously has a high turn over so can't expect much.... And for the record people don't try and small talk with these people, remember they are trying to count and the more you talk the longer others have to wait...

These people will rip you off. Watch them when they are counting they like to add a few for them self. I am sure if you pre-counted your bottles you would find that they shorted you. I cought them red handed and called them on it. All they could do is lie to me and tell me to take my bottles to the other bottle depot.

Best bottle depot in town by far in my opinion. Everyone who works there is interesting if you talk them up, all really good people. Plus for the longest time they were the only place that gave a full return rather than gouging you like all the other locations. They're local, hard working, old school, and whenever I need to recycle something I bring it to Nechako.
