A good store if a little cramped. I like their stock yard pickup. You have to go into the store to order and pay. But once in the yard staff will load you stuff. I am and older person and like this feature, especially when I get bags of concrete or other heavy items. Staff always helpful. Looking for floating docks, this is the place to buy.

purchased an american standard toilet on sale, we went to install a week later and opened the box to find it damaged took it back and got told that we must of damaged it as they inspect all, really as the box was not pre opened. The box was loaded by Rona onto our truck by fork truck as my husband cannot lift anything heavy. gave my husband a hard time of it and we could order same but would not be in until following day, meanwhile we have a plumber at our house waiting to finish the job. My husband picked another Koeler toilet and they would not honor the same price , and charged us the full price. not a good experience and chances of returning very slim

This Rona has been my "go to" this summer for a big cottage construction project. They have delivered loads of lumber and had special order items ready on time and for a fair price. The staff have always been super helpful in the store and the drive through lumber yard.

I have attempted to retrieve my costs through the court system. I have been blocked by the no fault insurance rules and laws which RONA chooses to hide behind, instead of being a good corporate citizen and doing the right thing. I have now been given a no trespass notice by RONA. LOL Why would I ever go there to do business LOL. Having been a long standing customer who has spent $10's of thousands of dollars at this location I am at a total loss as to how I have been treated. I stopped in to pick up a few boards to finish a project with my trailer on July 17 ,2021. As expected the employee was to take my order and load my trailer as directed by RONA. The employee loaded the wood incorrectly resulting in damaging my vehicle. Although they admit responsibility for the damage they refuse to pay for the repairs. The cost is $1,600. The owners of RONA expect me to use my insurance to pay for damage caused by them. This is outrageous and unbelievable. Be aware when doing business with the company they take zero responsibility for damages. Just read the owners response. Nothing has been offered other than to use MY insurance to pay for their damage. The damage occurred while the employee was loading the vehicle not after!

Back Country

This review is strictly related to online orders and not in store purchases. Be VERY aware, plan for delays and damaged products! Service related to online purchases has been extremely poor with corporate Rona. Perhaps related to the Lowe's acquisition way back in 2016. Order took months to recieve and when it did finally come, it was damaged. Now after weeks of trying to return it, they will not just replace it, rather informed me I will have to wait for them to pick it up before I get my refund then I can place a brand new order and start the process all over. We will provide an update regarding totals delays incurred and if Rona does eventually put forth some effort to help rectify the situation.

Staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. Go to for lumber orders over the years. Excellent quality at a competitive price. The cashiers, order desk and the yard are usually well staffed, knowledgeable, and most helpful.Their delivery is reliable, and the drivers are capable when off loading. Just finished a screened in porch, materials were delivered promptly, and the order was spot on. btw Built my own, but if I was to buy a dock theirs look top notch. Filled docked floats, and extra lumber for strength. Unlike some that are basically just a deck with floats underneath. Usually a selection in stock, built will build on site to specs. Order over the winter... delivered in the spring.

I wanted to purchase lumber from a Canadian company. Hopefully locally owned. Unfortunately, lumber prices were higher than Home Depot. Insulation prices were OK. Great service, great staff.

Don’t be misled that because it is a RONA that their prices are the same as other rona’s, because they are much more expensive at this location. They would not even price match identical products from Home Depot. Some pretty lazy people out in the lumber area as well, as I was forced to sift through bales of insulation to find the proper ones i purchased. The flooring is also a few dollars a square foot more than other Rona’s. save yourself some money and aggregation and shop around. Home depot around the corner seems to be about 10% cheaper on many products.

Tried multiple times to actually purchase a dock from them starting back in Sept-20 thru Feb-21. Most times didn’t respond to emails. If they did it was with little information and no sense of urgency to put an order together. Even the owner in the end was not responsive. Just baffling. Went to Porch to Pier where they were unbelievably helpful and hey they got the (big) order.

Absolutely atrocious service. Asked about having a simple outside shower door made. They said they would call me back and took down my number. After multiple calls I had to return (3 weeks later) and they could not find the order. Then indicated that the person responsible was out of the store. Convenient. No way to run a business. Just call me back and tell me you can’t do it. Wasted a customers time and showed great ineptitude.

About four weeks ago I called Rona and spoke to Kris in windows about getting a quote. We had a friendly call and he promised me a quote right away. I heard nothing from him. I telephoned a number of times and left messages. No call back. I emailed the owners and finally Kris in windows emailed me back apologizing profusely. He promised he would deliver a quote immediately. Despite two more emails and a telephone call which again went unanswered , he still has not sent me a quote. Unfortunately, we have lost four weeks on our project. We got a quote from another supplier in Parry Sound . It was an excess of $25,000. Obviously Rona Parry Sound is too busy and does not need your work.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The customer service experience is dismal. We placed an order for metal roofing to complete a boat house. Credit card charged immediately, we were told when to expect delivery. Made arrangements for workers to complete project. Multiple unreturned phone calls to confirm delivery date. Then told order was never placed, but complete payment received by rona. The store re-ordered but would not confirm details for delivery. We were left with workers for installation but no materials. We had to cancel the order. We placed the order with our local home hardware, who have confirmed all details, and cost less for the building materials. Our advice, don’t shop here for items you need for building projects. Customer service is awful and you will get a better price elsewhere…with far less frustration!

We went there to get something like a large diameter pvc tubing to drain water under our driveway. We found a clerk that was knowledgeable and helpful AND patient with us!!! Despite us being amateurs at joining pipes together, we did okay and have managed to get water drained away finally.
