Had a tire blow out on a busy stretch of the 417 and had to pull onto a shoulder that did not have enough space for me to safely swap to the spare myself. CAA dispatched Pat from SMC who was a big help. He arrived promptly and moved the car to a safe location before swapping the tire and sending us on our way. He was courteous and helped reassure my mother in law, who had been driving at the time and was a little shaken by the tire failure. Grateful for the help, Pat!

Have to say, I'm glad I scrapped my car with them. They honestly offered me the most and on top of that an extra $50 for getting the car to them instead of them having to come pick it up. Im a sceptical person, but the receptionist was super patient with me. Too bad I'm moving out of the country.. Or I'd use them the next time I need to scrap my car.

I called their Gatineau franchise on SUNDAY and they arrived within the HOUR! He was professional and efficient - efficient is not even good enough. I needed that car gone and they delivered. Another well known local company could NOT deliver on their promises to remove this vehicle and low balled me on the scrap reimbursement telling me I LIED about the condition of the car (I told them exactly the state it was in!). Scrapmycar were quick, careful, and had no problem getting their flat bed into our side yard (the other guys refused to try). Overall, highly recommended and very satisfied. Thanks.

I have never used this service but after seeing them on the highway with a car on the flatbed with 1 foot of snow on it I was not impressed. Literally takes 2 minutes to clear it off and you could save someone's life or windshield. Message to the owner you need to have a chat with your drivers about this.

Used internet fill-in forms at 3am Friday morning (Scrap My Car + two other local competitors). Had a Scrap My Car bid in my inbox before noon Friday (it's Saturday now and the other two have yet to reply). The bid was reasonable (and arguably more than I expected). A phone call established pick-up place and time (3pm). I was professionally contacted to confirm in advance as the agreed-to time approached. The gentleman picking up my vehicle was professional and right on time. The transfer process took 5 minutes. Couldn't have anticipated a better experience. Well done.

Today i have decided to sell my old car sitting in my yard witch needs to go because as we all know spring is around the corner anyways i took to my computer and looked up a auto scrap business and came across (Scrap my car Ottawa) I don't normally write a review but with the service i had from this guy Pascal was great when i called him he was A+ on the phone you could understand every word he was saying and also he told me he would come by my house at 2 pm and sure enough he was on time we talked business about my car i told him my price we negotiated a bit and shook hands. When he was loading up the car he joke alot he has a very good sense of humor.....I'll tell you for a guy his age he sure knows how to handle customers he knows when to be serious and when to joke i do not think for the life of me there is any mean at all in him.So for a great business guy i 100% recommend you try him at least once and you won't be disapointed.
