Called on May 15, 2020 to have a very old and heavy Hotpoint refrigerator removed from the garage. Just Junk was able to provide “same” day service. The two (2) young fellows called before arriving on time and they were very polite and professional! I would definitely recommend Just Junk and use their services again!

I had a giant kitchen table that was broken and very heavy and a desk I wanted to get rid of. To get rid of it myself I would've had to enlist help of 2 or 3 friends and borrow or rent a truck to fit the stuff. I love how they called me before my appointment to give me a heads-up that they were on their way. The guys were really nice but the price they quoted me for the small pile of junk I had was ridiculous!! The website is so misleading...on the site it was around $98 bucks. I didn’t even have a couch or heavy tv!! So with a 10% discount because it was all ready to go in the entranceway of my garage, the quote was around $ 243 bucks!!! I almost fell over...no way!!! I finally negotiated them down to $150 plus tax they wouldn’t do it for $150 all in. What a hassle!!! Glad the junk is gone but my wallet isn’t!!!

David and Logan just left our house and I can't rave enough about this company, their service, and especially their two incredible staff. The online booking and quote system was quick and easy, I was able to get an appointment the very next day, the guys showed up exactly on time (even though I had a window). They quickly got to work and wow did they work hard. Bonus points for how kind and affectionate they were with my little dog. Payment was also super fast, just swiped our MC and emailed me the receipt. I won't hesitate to use Just Junk again, and can't believe I waited so long amongst so much damn junk!

I had them remove a queen size mattress today, which ended up being 50% more than I was quoted. I called them because their site says they donate or recycle, but they just dump apparently (it is a different company that recycles/donates mattresses...that's the route I should have gone). Not mentioned in the quote is a $25 charge for dumping the mattress.

The two gentleman were very nice and very quick. My only real issue is the pricing. The website is not clear at all as to what the price will be. I picked option one because option 2 showed furniture which I didn’t have and the website created a quote for around $100. The final price was closer to $400 because of how much of the truck was filled (the website does not indicate at all that that is how the price is determined. That is why I only gave it 3 stars.

I was surprised however to be told that my couch counted as 1/4 of their truck. Looking at the pricing slider online, I completely disagree and feel I should have been charged for 1/6 of a load. I called for a quote on the Wednesday and J.Junk came out that afternoon to provide a quote for removing our deck and floating patio. It was going to be a big job requiring two trucks with two teams. I was a little hesitant at first on the price but when they said they could do it in 3 hours with only 48 hours notice, I was very interested. 2 days later on a Friday afternoon, I called to book the appointment. While I spoke to the booking agent, I asked if they could do it the next day... They said yes! The next day, Saturday, the first team showed up on time and started removing the deck... I watched and thought to myself, that there was 'no-way' that this was going to get done in 3 hours. They filled the first truck up in 2 hours and then the second team showed up. To my amazement, it took them 2 hours and 45 minutes in total and it was all gone! Wow! And since I knew that an hour of labour was included in each truck rental, the only thing on top of the two trucks/teams was 1 more hour of labour charge, which was quoted. Therefore this project was 100% on time, 100% on budget with 100% service.

Not quite as advertised. I just used this service in Edmonton yesterday. The crew was one guy, wasn’t a dustless process, I don’t have a smooth subfloor, and I have to clean up the tile fragments. He did call in help to haul out the tiles, the two that showed up decided to have break in my kitchen. The guy was under equipped, needed better tools and a helper. The only plus is the hideous tile is gone.

Zack and Brayden came to my house to remove a box freezer, that felt like it was originally placed on the land and than the house was built around it. It was in my basement under the stair space. They both did a great job, no damage to my property and were also great in communicating the options they had to remove the freezer. With a bit of thought, math and putting our minds together they removed it free of any damage. The quote I got over the phone matched what the boys estimated on site. I will diffnitely be calling them again in the future.

Extremely disappointed with the price. I had a small amount of ceramic tile flooring neatly piled on a tarp by the curb, but they basically spread it out all across the bottom of the truck and counted that as taking up a large amount. I don't doubt the workers were doing what they're instructed to do, and they were friendly and professional, but I just can't believe this small job ended up costing over twice what I expected. The website does not give you any info about this policy of only piling tile up a few inches up and spreading it around to take up the majority of the truck. Felt like a complete rip off.

Mason and Zack are very reliable person for junk removal. Definitely not an issue to get rid off anything, those bulky furniture and mattress protector. Not sure if they send to donation centre for some bedding, pot pans, glassware. The most positive side: Just Junk managed to come within the same day (glad that they are open 24hrs call centre). Everything was done within 20mins.

Looked at their services and was impressed by their promise to do it while they were there if we agreed on the estimate. Used the online chat feature, booked an appointment. They arrived very promptly, we agreed on a price, which was lower than anticipated, and they did the cleanup quickly and efficiently. Just recently used the team at Just Junk. I'd give them more than five stars but google won't let me. They went way beyond my expectations. Very fairly priced. Called on a Wednesday and they offered to come the next day but I wasn't able to do it that quickly. They then offered Friday or Saturday and it was on Saturday that we settled on. Showed up on time despite the weather. Cleaned out my entire garage and moved a large deep freezer from the basement with no dings on the walls. They even swept the garage. Brayden and Dan were amazing and I will definitely use them again. Will actually ask for them specifically.

Online price doubled when workers arrived. I was taking apart an upright piano. Hours were spent taking it down. All the wooden top, sides, front panels, pedals, legs keys, hammers, many strings, bolts, hardward, lid, etc etc etc. It was enough to fill the back end (plus a bit more) of my pickup truck. I was left with ONE PIECE. Just the back side of the piano. Originally, it was booked as $138 and that the men could come that afternoon for the 15 minute pick up. When they arrived - they arrived on time - took a look at the one piece and stated they would need to charge me for an entire piano move. WHAT? There was only one piece left out of the dozens and dozens. To move a piano is way over $400.00 they stated. I objected and they went outside to "call the boss". Came back in and said they could go only as low as $338. They put me in a very uncomfortable position. I had to have it removed so I paid the full amount of the $338 - which was originally supposed to be $138. They moved the piece out and were gone within 15 minutes. I feel this is a very unfair price for this one piece. They kept stating this was the weight of the entire piano. ABSOLUTELY NOT. All the parts had been removed. They went on to explain that they now charge by the weight - when on line - it is charged by size and how much room it takes up in the truck. I gave the exact size of the piece before it was booked. Very uneithical to state one price - then charge nearly 3x the price expected. The picture below is what they took away - 5 feet wide and 4 inches thick - just the back - With all the taxes it came to $354.90 for a 15 minute job. The workers were great - but the ethics of the company has something to be desired.

A good $100 less than 1-800-JUNK, who I kicked out after they refused to remove or cover their shoes. I also received a Thank You card today that told me that 80% of my junk was either recycled or donated and that made me so happy!!
