I bought a used air conditioning compressor, well that was interesting . I put it in my til I took my vehicle to a mechanic. Turns out the connection was cut off by the clutch when it was removed. So I phone Ed's to say what the mechanic told me . Right away the guy at Ed's is on the defensive , so that shows you what Ed's is like. I would not go there again. Seems to be more about not helping you a damn bit.if I could give a negative review , I would. !!!!

They however lose 2 stars because part of the panel was broken and I did not notice until I got back home. Luckily I salvaged the piece from my old panel.

They are very friendly & helpful. We arranged to pick up some parts. They had them ready when I got there. They discounted one of them because their was more damage on it then they first realized. That was very considerate of them. If I need used parts again. I definitely will check with them first. Even though they are a little out of my way.

Grew up in Westlock and have used Ed's Auto Salvage for Years. They have great rates and good service would highly recommend them. Saved over a thousand dollars years ago when they replaced my engine in my dads old pick up. They also have a mechanic shop.

I use Ed's Auto weekly for my used parts needs. They are honest and very reliable and ALWAYS stand behind what they sell. The guys on the parts counter have been very good to deal with- even with someone who isnt to sure what they are looking for. I live in northern Alberta, we DO have used parts sales here, BUT i choose to use Ed's- and always will.

I had never heard of this place before I purchased an antique truck that required a newer heater controller , after another salvage yard did a parts search came up with a preverbal gold mine of salvaged parts for my vintage truck , and I found the prices to be quite reasonable .

I bought a car computer from Ed's. I was quoted $75 by a Theo at Ed's. When I got the package, I opened it see if it looked right. Beauty! Before I got to put it in, I was filing the paperwork when I saw I had been charged $150. What?! After printing out the quote email, I went back out to the garage & packed the thing back up. My son (who's car this) mailed it back from Edmonton after spring break. It's been upwards of 3 weeks, delivery was 2 days. I've seen no credit on my account. Is this a straight rip-off? How they do business everyday? Don't buy from them!! Why do they get a star?
