After two years of putting off removing a 9 person hot tub from my backyard, I called Junk King. The communication there is top notch. The gentleman who came out to give a few quote was personable and professional and the quote was reasonable to do the work I had been putting off, which didn't leave any room for error without damaging my lilacs or garage. Today, three young men came out and we're extremely careful and communicated with each other about how they needed to do it. I was very impressed. It went off without a hitch. It started with the crew who provided a very thorough estimate for the removal of 8 years of hoarding in one of our rental units. Following the estimate, the manager Dale reached out to discuss pricing options and I was told "I would not be disappointed." That was an understatement! I recently had to move my mom to a memory care facility and deal with 50 years of accumulated "stuff". They wanted to charge me almost $1000 to to remove some large and small furniture items, scrap wood and some misc stuff from my house, basement and garage which would have been a truck load. I then called gotTRASH? and they gave me a quote that was more than a third less than Junk King quote.. and they only took an hour to get it done and they even swept out my garage! Not understanding how so many reviews say their price is reasonable.

I originally hired a company that contracts junk removers in my area and the appointment just kept getting pushed back due to lack of availability. A little over 24 hours before I needed items removed, I called Junk King and they were able to accommodate me for around the same cost as the original place I hired. I didn’t have to pay anything prior to the service, I received an email confirmation and a reminder text prior to the 2 hour time block i received. I also received a call from the owner of the company about a half hour before my time block confirming the items that needed to be removed and the approximate time of arrival. The crew of 2 arrived on time and ready to work. Confirmation of the estimate I received was provided to me upon arrival and, even with removing 3 more items in addition to the couch, arm chair, headboard and footboard, the amount stayed just as reasonable. I love the fact that you don’t have to pay until the service is complete and, when you do, they are equipped to take a credit card or cash right there on the spot. They removed 7 fairly heavy items in no more than a half hour. Fast, reasonably priced and super nice guys looking to accommodate. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for furniture and/or junk removal!

Don, Matt and Mark arrived exactly on time and finished at the exact time quoted when scheduling. They were fast and efficient even though I had what I considered to be a lot to remove and some of it was quite heavy. I also had a lot of cardboard boxes that had gotten wet and were falling apart and they handled it all. Decent price and all junk was removed as promised. Unfortunately nothing was laid on the floor of my home so they left quite a mess on the first floor and didn’t clean up (mud, salt, debris etc). When I complained they offered to clean up if I provided the equipment. I refused and did it myself. They also took a couple of chunks out of my woodwork in the hallway. Update: Dale (the owner) called me personally, offered compensation and explained this is not the standard operating procedure for the company and they should have laid out protection on the floor to avoid the issues. This demonstrates great customer service, they care about the customer experience, so I would recommend them and use them in future. In fact, I waived the comp and asked them to come and remove a refrigerator for me, which they are happy to do free of charge. Would use them again.

From the start these guys were nice, and polite while making the reservation. When they got here they were professional, good guys, very respectful. They took a look at what I wanted to go and gave me a decent estamate. They took the stuff right then and treated everything around what needed to go with respect and were done in 15mins tops .... Great service, great people, would definitely recommend!!!!

WOW!! We highly recommend Junk King Excellent job! Nice friendly people. Efficient, arrived on time, fast! The price was more than fair. No hidden surprises on the day of removal. We had them clear out 2 homes. They also take TVs for a small additional charge (eco disposal charge which is 100% the norm) and other electronics. Special note not all companies take TVs and that includes dumpster drop offs. They told me they do all size removals so Call Junk King you will not be disappointed.

I contacted them on Sunday to see if they could remove a Bagster next to the curb of my rental property, I still have some garbage bags and a hot water heater and cabinet outside behind the house, They came the next day and called to followed up to let me know when they were close and on-site.
