I bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado just over a year ago. At 7000KM on it the truck broke down leaving me stranded on a highway. After getting it repaired I drove it for approximately 100 KM and found my self broken down again (with the same issue). This time for over 2 weeks. While the truck was getting fixed one of their employees took a picture of my trucks license plate and posted it on social media almost as a mock. There was little to no compensation for the troubles I went though. Instead I was redirected to call GM. A couple days ago my truck wouldn't you know it, at 32,000 KM broke down for the third time! the same exact issue! Wiring that affected my ECM. I gave Brian Cullen the benefit of the doubt the first two times! But now my truck is legally considered a lemon! and the only answers I get is sorry. This truck is now a safety issue for myself and family. we no longer use it as a daily driver, and on top of all this I'm left to figure out what to do with it myself. I am not going to recommend Brian Cullen Motors to anyone I know nor am I going to recommend GM products as it stands.

I recently purchased a new truck from Ken Koroll and was very impressed with the entire experience. I have dealt with Ken numerous times in the past and have never felt pressured, mislead, or had buyer’s remorse with any of the purchases. Ken always goes out of his way to make sure that you understand every aspect of the sale, vehicle, financing/leasing options, and are completely satisfied before you decide to make a purchase. I appreciate that I can stop by to look at vehicles and ask question well before I actually decide to make a purchase without annoying soft-sell tactics. (It’s funny how a lot of the other dealers like to say they don’t use pressure tactics like GM but they are the ones just following up!) In regards to this last purchase, Ken and Joe Bello went out of their way to secure my truck as there was very limited stock and I was interested in a model that they don’t normally carry. A few days later I was driving away with a new truck that they brought in from Windsor. I know that they are a business but I also know that when I go into Brian Cullen’s I feel that the people that work there are a part of our community and have always been treated with respect and courtesy. I can honestly say that I wholeheartedly recommend Ken and the team at Brian Cullen if you are looking at purchasing a vehicle without the hassle that traditional car-buying can bring.

The service dept here is excellent! They helped repair my car after a local mechanic botched the repairs I had done only a month before. They also found a campaign to cover part of those repairs, and reached out to GM to assist with Goodwill coverage on part of the other repairs - I didn't even have to ask them to do this and was so grateful they did. The car has been working great since.. the only thing that I was unhappy with was the sales dept looking up my info and calling me to bug me about coming in to buy a new vehicle.. I did not buy my car from them and had never visited sales to look at cars, so they only way they would have gotten my info would be from my service history. I just think it's a bit intrusive to do that.

My first ever GM and it has been a constant problem. Multiple electronic glitches. According to the dealership it has been one-of-a-kind. No consolation, but they have-been very supportive. They have tried many different fixes and have replaced a number of parts. No faulting the dealership, only the car.

Less than impressed to say the least. The whole experience has been completely unorganized during every step. Not to mention the brand new truck we bought had issues within the first 72hrs. The amount of gas I’ve wasted driving back and forth to the dealership has been outrageous.l due to the lack of organization and issues. The salesman (Ken) is the only reason for them getting any stars as he has answered my texts and tried to remedy the situation that has been overall very sour. My only suggestion to the salesman is avoid to harsh pressure tactics (ie. when I was leaving and hadn’t given an answer he resorted to I don’t know if the truck will be here when you call back - I was going to know in the next couple hours) - they are unnecessary, unappreciated and frankly archaic. It was an expensive lesson to learn but it’s done now but word of caution in using this dealer - don’t expect any organization from them.

You can tell he cares about the vehicles he sells, but more importantly you can tell he cares about his customers. Warren, you are awesome! Getting a vehicle is a daunting experience. I started the whole process in the middle of moving my house, and I was quickly overwhelmed. Caught between choosing the vehicle/trim, the details of financing/leasing, and simultaneously setting up insurance while packing up my house, I was burned out. Warren was like family in this situation. It was so reassuring to have somebody else help me through these decisions. We had calm conversations where he carefully laid out my options and offered me his opinion on the best value. We worked together to get the best deal possible, and I never felt pressured to make a decision. When I picked up my truck, the paperwork and acquisition of the vehicle was quick and easy. I received an email outlining the need for a repair based on a recall. So I made an appointment, attended the dealership, then waited around for 45 minutes only to have them tell me that the repair had already been done on my last visit. Two things come to mind. 1, why wasn't the repair that was done on my last visit recorded on my paperwork or at the dealership itself? Then, why did it take them 45 minutes to figure out that the repair was already finished? It is such a colossal waste of time. I'm not very happy this morning. Sept. 26, 20-19 - to add to the story...After I wrote this review, I had a very pleasant conversation with Mike at the dealership. He called me personally to apologize and rectify the situation. i was also contacted by my sales person Alison T. (who I fully recommend by the way, we have bought 2 vehicles from her). It is fine to make an error,but when it is fixed and totally resolved in a timely and caring fashion...Perfect. now, a 2 becomes a 5!!!

What a great experience first Corvette purchase at Brian Cullen Motors in St. Catherines. Jeff Easton’s knowledge of Corvettes is unparalleled. The new C8 is loaded with technology and Jeff’s insight was beneficial to help choose the best combination of options for my new dream machine. Understanding the different trim levels and performance packages was key to determining what I definitely needed and what components complimented my configuration. Once my car hit production it was only a matter of a few weeks and I was in to see Jeff planning pickup and a few final additions such as ceramic coating and custom wrap. Then taking delivery was the next step in my learning experience. Jeff hit all the key items to know before my first drive home in my new Corvette C8. Here is a detailed, factual review of my 1 week experience in hell dealing with this outfit. Go anywhere else, but in reality read this whole thing to find out why you need to go to Butler Chev in Pembroke no matter how far away, it was a 5 hour round trip for me, and I saved thousands. I had made a deal with Seaway in Cornwall, but the Corvette I chose was at this Cullen place. I agreed to save money I would drive 10 hours round trip to deliver and pick up the vehicles. Brian Cullen did not want to trade right away, despite the selected car being old stock (great business acumen getting sentimental over your inventory). It was their right, they wanted to wait over the week end to see if they could sell it. They say they did eventually agree and made a deal, they did not, they were still in process of picking what they would take in trade and taking their sweet time with it, that to me shows the character of what we are dealing with. I left bad reviews for both aberations of morality and they say as a result, and to punish me, they refused to do a deal, taking a real stand on their integrity. I have correspondence that shows them demanding I remove the review if I want that car. Despite the lack of good faith on their part, I remove the review. Now the MSRP on the car was $77100 less Costco and other rebates of $13300 equals $63810 plus taxes. Seaway gave me $43000 on my 2017 Dodge Power Wagon, basically theft. So when Cullen could swoop in and scoop me as a customer from a situation they manufactured, they offered me only $40,000 on my truck! $3000 less, and they would not budge, not a penny. So, I found a similiar car at Butler in Pembroke and this is amazing - MSRP of $73525 less Costco and other of $12,365 equals $61160 and they gave me $46000 for my truck, all figures are pre tax. I do not know for the life of me why a dealership has a deal they can take and they snub their noses at it. Arrogance? Lack of respect for people? Just to ruin the buying experience for bowel movements and giggles?? Greed? Idiocy? All I know is that every time I have to deal with people in S Ontario, they are a different breed down there, arrogant and crapping in their own yards. I saved over $6000 plus taxes at Butler in Pembroke, and the experience was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Down to earth regualr folk, not full of themselves and self important BS like "I have been selling cars for 48 years" nonsense. What they mean is they have been ripping people off all their lives, its all they know.

I bought a new 2014 Cruze here. I felt pressured into buying a black one when I wanted grey. They lied saying they couldn't get grey but then when I probed deeper they confessed they could get a few grey/silver models from another dealer but seemed horribly inconvenienced by the idea. A few weeks later the cap on the battery broke off when I opened it for the first time. The maintenance staff essentially said that all the Cruzes did that and if they fixed it it would just break again because they were junk. The wifi didn't work in the super expensive looking customer reception area and it took multiple complaints and visits before they fixed it. The last service I had on my care went really well. The warranty ended up being a good idea and there was no friction in the warranty claim which was a great experience. If all my visits were like that I'd have given 5 stars.

After several scheduled appointments with Brian Cullen Motors they informed me that repairs in the amount of $2100 would be needed at my expense even though the problem existed at time of sale.In the meantime warm weather showwd that the air conditioner didnt work either.They wanted another $800 for a new compressor After months of denial and negotiating The repairs were done at a cost to.me of approx $1000 total for both . My complaint is I should not have had to pay a cent for issues this vehicle had when I bought it. I AM NOT HAPPY .

Took my 2010 Colbalt in for a service recall. They asked if it was my first time in, I said yes, and that was my mistake. From there, they were constantly pressuring me to replace fluids, and that other parts, like the front struts, were leaking, so I had better replace them both. I know little about cars, so I thought it would be best to listen to them. All totaled, it was close to $1000 bill, when I went in for a recall that was under warranty. I would recommend going anywhere else if you need your car serviced.

Every time I've come in, it has been a nice experience. They have a greeting garage area that you pull your car up into, where a service rep meets with you and goes over the work to be performed. You can make an appointment or just drive in. While you wait, there is a big lounge with free hot beverages, free to use computers for internet access, and a few big screen TVs playing the news and sports of the day. The waiting area is connected to the show room where you can take a peek at some of the latest GM offerings. I've done this a few times and never have I been approached by a salesperson looking for that next sale...they seem to respect that I am just waiting / looking, and only offer their assistance should I have any questions. The service staff is professional and friendly, but most importantly, they respond quickly and efficiently whenever there is a customer concern. I recently attempted to change my oil and found that the previous tech that took care of my car here at Brian Cullen, tightened the drain bolt way beyond spec. As I was in a hurry to depart for a road trip, I phoned the service department (on a Saturday) and was able to immediately speak to the manager, Mike. I explained my situation, and without hesitation he invited me in for a free oil change and drain plug replacement. I've never experienced that level of care and professionalism from a dealer , shop or otherwise car related establishment. Most impressed, and will definitely be buying my next car here.

Update: The general manager reached out to me and when I explained the issue of being mislead by the salesmen, his answer was "With As-Is vehicles, we do not inspect, repair, refurbish, or detail. We make no claims about their mechanical condition and they are priced accordingly. We actually go to great lengths to tell you that we don’t know what they will need for safety and that there is no warranty." So him reaching out to customers on here I think is just an attempt to garner good publicity after a negative review and nothing more. Original review: They tried using high pressure sales tactics, where the car was available on their lot for weeks, but when I showed up they had "multiple people" wanting to come that day to look at it so I needed to purchase the car asap. Also a tire has a pinhole leak where it deflates when parked. I'm assuming they pumped the tires before I came so there would be no lights on the dashboard (tire pressure monitoring system) and didn't say anything. I'm already there and interested in the car, just tell me the condition of it and don't pull any nonsense. The car was decent, the salesmen had me wanting to walk away. Pretty dishonest place.

Don’t go here for a service ever I sent this to their feedback page. “where to start. my husband will never bring my car here again the drop off form he filled out bed dropping off the keys said to call him at noon he received two calls one asking if he still wanted to change the breaks and rotors but after no one called us back with a quote we decided to do it elsewhere. then he got a call asking if he wanted to fix the alignment in a small mental lapse he said yes despite the ridiculous price of the service and the fact that since the rotors were bad obviously the alignment is out. we were taken advantage of and when he called back to cancel the service they said they already did it and there was nothing we could do to stop the charge. to top it all off we didn’t even get the free car wash that’s promised with all services. you lost a customer not that you care given his interaction with the front desk trying to schedule the service in the first place.”

I know i was told that things were not checked because it didn't need to be for the safety and I understand that. But I figured when you bought a car from a dealership that it would be fully inspected before it went off the lot.. What happened with my vehicle, I could have gotten in a bad accident. I'm afraid to drive it. I bought it to save money on gas to drive to work and I'm still driving my truck cause I'm worried something else will happen. Spending 1500 dollars after a month I got it is not right. The staff were very nice and helpful but I am not buying from there again.

I can't say how impressed I was with Brian McGunnigle and the body shop at Brian Cullen. I took my car in for an estimate for repairs after a deer hit. My appointment was booked through our insurance for 9 AM Monday, January 20th. I talked to Brian as he did the inspection letting him know we were in a time pinch as we had a commitment we needed the car for on January 27th! He immediately put me into a rental car, ordered the parts and had the job completed with a call confirming the car was ready for pick up at 9:30 AM on Friday the 24th! The work is seamless and they had even done a complete interior clean as well. So happy for a job well done in such a timely fashion. So nice to deal with consummate professionals.

I don’t often write reviews, but I feel it necessary to take the time to recognize an exceptional employee at Brian Cullen, the service manager, Mike Forgione. Recovery from a bad experience is often more crucial to building loyalty than the initial experience itself. Mike ensured my experience with my first General Motors purchase in nearly two decades wouldn’t be a negative one. Without going into a tonne of detail, my car just wasn’t right. Multiple trips to the dealer didn’t rectify. Getting to the next step with GM corporate was a challenge, but I felt the entire time that Mike and the staff at Brian Cullen were in my corner, fighting for me, the customer. In the end, the fight paid off, and GM sent an engineer down who fixed the problem in one final visit. Mike didn’t stop there, he fought again for a bit of compensation for the aggravation we faced, all while apologizing. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and in turn built a level of trust and loyalty with himself, Brian Cullen, and the Brand, that would’ve otherwise never happened.. in fact, the opposite would’ve been true. Not really happy how long it took for an oil change .our truck apparently was ready but the receptionist failed to let us know it was ready . It said on the invoice we were waiting but she just put it in the drawer . If we did get up to see why is was taking so long who knows how long we would have sat there . Brian cullens is truly a place to come if you are looking to purchase a vehicle, I had the great pleasure to deal with ken dobbins, when I first went to brain cullens ken immediately greeted me outside and I told him I was looking at trucks and he started to guide me, Ken introduced me to GMs leasing with the Silverado and really widened my view on leasing, and how he leases most of the vehicles he sells, I continue dialogue with ken over a couple months, julie( I believe the customer service person she said) kept in contact with me about the truck letting me know about deals on Silverados and everything, very nice lady she was throughout, unfortunately I never ended up purchasing the Silverado as I went with the ram 1500, but anybody looking for a Silverado I definitely recommend dealing with Ken dobbins, very professional and very nice

Awful. Every time I have to go there I remember why I don't like going. We bought our brand new car there in 2012. First time it broke down it had under 100kms. The people at the car rental place got to know me because the brand new car we bought has broken down upwards for 8 times. Also never buy their Platinum Plus warranty- which they sold us because we have a small child and they advised it would be great for things like "when he spills his grape juice on the seat" however it's never anything but painful. We've had two stains in the four years we've owned it and at my latest visit today, when I asked about removing a stain (since it's already there for an oil change, a recall, and the engine light is on, AGAIN) would they please take care of the stain my warranty was supposed to cover... the man completely blew me off, didn't add it to the work order, and said he doest know anything about the Vehicle Armour or Platinum Plus warranty we bought (approximately 5000) THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AGAIN! And that's why you shouldn't buy your car from Brian Cullens. Regular people get treated like garbage after their purchases when they only spend 30 000.

Took my car in for rattling engine noise. Turns out some metal filings had got loose in engine and it needed to be replaced. They talked me into replacing clutch at same time since it was easier when the engine was out. I was quoted $6500. Came back on Friday to pick it up right after they called and my bill was $7300. The technician was conveniently gone home so there was nobody there to ask about it. After whining about it I finally got my bill down to the original price. Next up was a 45min labor charge to change a light bulb. It was for a fog light on the front of my Cavalier. I'd done the change myself before: consists of reaching under, twisting bulb 1/4 turn pulling out, detaching bulb from clip, putting new one in, twisting 1/4 turn to lock in place. 1 minute. This time I couldn't reach under because my back was bad, so I figured they could put it on the lift and do it for the 15min shop-minimum charge. I was outside while it was being worked on and saw the technician just wonder off for a good 20mins after lifting it up. Charging me the entire time. He then came back and attempted to take off the entire front fascia assembly to get to the bulb. (!!!???) Then they had the nerve to charge me over $70 labor. 2 years ago I bought a used truck from them. The salesman (John Crocco) was overly nice to me while trying to get the sale. After it was paid for and he had the cash and I was in his office signing off on the paperwork, he started taking sales calls from his desk WHILE I SAT THEIR WAITING! I sat for like 10 MINUTES while he sweet-talked some girl on the line about some car he had for her and how great a car it was. There's been other problems as well. I just wish I knew another GM dealer near me that new GM cars well.

The only reason I put a two star and not a one star is because my sales rep Richard was helpful at first. I traded in my car and had troubles with getting new tires (never did) for the SUV I purchased. I could live with that but when the accountant makes a mistake and does not set up withdrawals correctly I can not live with. I went into arrears with the bank they choose and it has been trouble ever since. No help when asked. They also have in their contract that they would help if you ever got in a car crash. Which I was and no help was given. ( Not my at fault as well ). The only time I got a meaningful response was when they wanted me to come in and get a maintainance check done.

John is truly a professional. Brian Cullen should be proud of people like him. The business manager was also a very friendly professional person. He even toweled it dry and buffed the car when I first saw it for the test drive with his own special cloths! Best "PERFORMANCE" & service. A couple of weeks ago my new car had a malfunction with it's roof lift (convertible). The timing wasn't the best as it happened on a Friday night after 5 and the dealership was closed. My roof of my car couldn't close and I had no where to store it outside where it could be protected from weather. I was able to contact the service manager Mike after hours, he wasn't at the dealership and was out of town. Mike was able to arrange for another manager (Joe) to come back to the dealership and store my vehicle safely until it opened again for service on Monday. The vehicle was fixed by the dealership as soon as the part came in a day later and all was well. We had to pay $450.00 for a factory radio to have Serious Satellite Radio and all we got was an aftermarket one. We have had to have the speakers replaced, the seatbelts replaced and the list goes on. I will not take my vehicle back to them for service. They are a bunch of money grabbing liars as far as I am concerned. I have made sure to tell people I know that want to buy a vehicle not to buy from them.

Disappointing service. The salesmen Tracy was an enthusiastic and helpful salesperson he replied promptly and we arranged a test drive of a used Cadillac CTS on Saturday October 14. I was excited as the car was had the exact exterior and interior colour combination I was looking for. Unfortunately on the morning of the test drive I received a call from Tracy to say that the car was unavailable as the sales manager took it up north. I don't know what to make of this, was he taking it for a joy ride or to show a potential customer. None the less, I had arranged a test drive and it was cancelled, not the best way to form a good customer relationship. I received a follow up email asking how my service experience was. I replied and advised what happened and that was the last I heard from Brian Cullen's staff. I decided not to pursue this matter further with them. Why reward this type of service. I subsequently purchased a used CTS from another GM dealership and was very happy with the overall client service which I received from the other dealership. I see the car I was interested in at Brian Cullen is still on Autotrader and the price has been dropped.

I am always looking at vehicles and I keep up to date with new vehicle features as well as capabilities. Most times I walk into a dealership and know more about what I'm buying than the person selling it. When I bought my new truck through Joe it was refreshing to deal with someone who able to lay out realistic price points for vehicle packages that suited my needs. Having someone that knows small ways to get you more for your trade in, and save you money here or there on the price of a new vehicle makes a big difference at the end of the day. You can also ask for Jeff Easton who assisted in my deal and also was more than knowledgeable about what is on the lot there. Both Joe and Jeff are two down to earth salesmen and easy to deal with. You're already looking to buy a car, that's why you go to the dealership. They know that and are there to answer any questions and offer good advice rather than push you into car. I had one small problem with my vehicle a day after the purchase, called Joe about it and without a question he had it all fixed up for me. I don't write reviews a lot but vehicles aren't cheap and this review might help. I will again be buying my next vehicle from Joe Bello. I love my Silverado and I'll keep sending my friends and family to Brian Cullens as long as Joe is working there.

I brought my vehicle in to have starting issues addressed and serviced. The technician was diligent about keeping me in the loop with what they were doing. However, after having my car for 2 days, they decided to check if there were any recalls...which there were. The third day is when they were able to fix the problem under recall. This, apparently, did not leave me exempt from having to cover the labour costs and a part that was on recall wound up costing me over $500. It's unfortunate nobody thought to check for recalls right away and not wait 72 hours to do something that should have been one afternoon and at no cost to me.

I was a Cadillac CTS owner and I was in the market for a Cadillac SUV. I bought my first Cadillac at Cullen Motors, St. Catharines in 2014. I was interested in driving the XT5 and XT4. We arrived at the dealership just as they were opening early on a Saturday Morning. Jeff Easton, Salesman in the Cadillac/Corvette division, greeted us with a friendly smile and was more than accommodating in arranging for me to drive a Sport XT4 and a Platinum XT5. He spent a good deal of time with us, discussing the pros and cons of the XT4 vs the XT5. Very knowledgeable about the products. Dealing with Jeff Easton at Cullen Motors that day was enjoyable. Although I eventually did not buy my XT5 from Cullen Motors, the experience was quite memorable.

I could not recommend a dealership - or person - as much as I could ever recommend Alison over at Brian Cullen Motors. She has a unique way of making this whole process about you! And that's how it's supposed to be, yet no one ever does that. Alison made me feel at ease and was always nothing short of openly honest with me the entire time we talked. That's something that I value more than anything. She's everything you could ever want in someone that's going to help you find your next (or first as was my case) vehicle that you'll be happy and comfortable with. And she makes herself available to her customers even outside of business hours just to make sure you're comfortable and happy no matter what. I'm never one to leave reviews - especially beyond the simple "5/5 Would shop again" - but this whole experience has been so amazing that I, literally, cannot urge you enough to do yourself the favour of talking to Alison whenever you think of getting yourself a vehicle. You'll thank yourself later when you do.

Called on Monday for a check engine light, made the earlier appointment for Thursday at 830. I told them the error code and that my fiancee was dropping it off. Upon dropping it off she was told to take it else where and they couldn't do anything for her because she didn't know the error code. She mentioned what the issue was (thermostat) and they just brushed it off and asked her "are you sure, honey?" And kept telling her that "maybe her fiance should of dropped it off" absolutely rediculous. When I called to find out what happened they just told me that another dealership is better equipped for my issue. So in other words. DONT GO HERE. APPARENTLY THEY DONT HAVE ERROR CODE READERS, OR TOOLS TO WORK ON CARS AND WILL INSULT YOUR FIANCE FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOBS.
