A very frustrating and disappointing experience. I called about an auto part a week in advance and they confirmed it was on-hand. I put it ON HOLD (which would mean they have it physically there). On the day I went to pick it up, I called and confirmed the part was on hold again. The rep said yes it is in there system and they have the part. I drove out to this place for over 2 hrs from Durham and waited 30 minutes at this “business” to only be told “sorry” and they cannot seem to find the part and they don’t have it. Very unprofessional way to conduct business by placing something on hold and then confirm it 3 times and to drive out so far to be told it is not there. A very similar experience happened to others as well judging from the reviews. I would take my business elsewhere.

These guys are horrible and dont represent fairplay in the public space. Their projection and bias as a business serving the public is terrible. I dont know if it's the employees or the general bad and toxic business culture. I went in as a customer looking for engines and auto parts to buy for export, and I was literally driven out the door....I wonder if it's my looks or something else. My charter of rights were breached. I do not recommend this place to anyone even if you had been doing business with them. Respect for people and human dignity should be first and foremost before business solution to the public even if you control a monopoly. To say the least, this business and her people are horrible. They dont deserve any star. I was there September 2, 2021, if this date matters to the management to investigate the rudeness metted to me. Funny enough, I was warned before I went there to have a first hand experience by myself.

Although there policy says nothin about 90 day return policy it does say 90 day warranty my part wasn't used I feel like they should have returned it since it doesn't say anything about 90 days return policy and it isn't used

if you want to waste your precious life, go ahead to this store. All three workers sit behind the desk and kept ignoring me even there were not any other customers. I believed they realized that I was waiting for a chance to talk with anyone of them, but they just kept doing their own work without any greetings, maybe their official business greeting is to give customer a glance. After half an hour I finally found a chance to told one parts salesrepresentative I was looking for a drain bolt, that guy told me they have some new ones, and told the female colleage to fetch the bolt, after a while, she came back without any bolts , and without even a word to me, then everyone kept dealing with their own things with occasional glance to me, I kept patience and waited for another half an hour then I had to left still without any response from people working there.

Incompetent and verbally abusive customer service. Sales representatives do not know how to email pictures of parts. After numerous calls and placing an order, a separate rep dropped off a different part, not as described which is from a police cruiser. After outlining this discrepancy, the original sales rep used abusive language over the phone and honoured the return. Please rectify your parts pick up process and customer service.

Ken Shorthouse is the Manager of the service department, I can tell you my daughter was thrilled with the work that was done to repair her car. The body looked like brand new. Checked everything out for her as well. I too was happy because he saved me money needing only to replace a portion instead of the whole line. Washed it all up nice for pick up. I was able to use the internet and get some work done as well.The staff were very efficient and friendly.

If you didn’t know that Thorold Auto Parts and Recycling has full service mechanics on staff to meet all your cars needs now you do! Ken Shorthouse , Service Department Manager and his team provided excellent service for my Honda CRV. Synthetic oil change was performed in a timely manner and they even gave the car a quick wash! The young woman at the desk who greeted me was friendly and proficient , over all a 5 star experience .

I am disappointed in how I was treated earlier this morning by the young lady who represents your company as you walk in. I had driven an hour and half from Toronto with my son to see a car that was listed for sale. As I approached her desk she walked away and then proceeded to ask " did I want something". Well, seeing as I had approached her desk the likelihood that I needed help was evident. I asked about the car and she quickly replied that it had sold and had been delivered on Thursday to the client. Oh, okay I replied with sadness as I had been very interested in the car. I left with my son and on our drive home had this ugly feeling that she had LIED. I called back and spoke to Paul who was very nice and told me that the car had not yet been sold. (the car sold an hour after I left to someone else). This young lady took it upon herself to blatantly LIE to me. I could understand if I had been rude to her. She decided she didn't like me, the way I looked, and was not going to be bothered with ME. So, It would make me question how many other possible customers this young lady has blatantly LIED to. I wish the business continued success but feel that this young lady needs to take a course in customer service Edit: I would just like to thank the gentleman who called me to apologise for what occurred this morning. As stated above I wish the business continue success.

terrible service, i was looking for a control module they said they had one in stock, they bring it back and was not it. after arguing with him he realized it was inventoried wrong. so he said there is one in toronto and he can get in in a couple day. 2 weeks pass by no call, so i called them. the guy on the phone apologized and said i will look into it and get back to me. another week passed by still no call back, i should of went to toronto myself to get it!!!

I purchased a wheel rim from Thorold Auto Parts. I can't believe they charged me an extra $10 plus GST for the rim on my car (that I own and have already paid the GST). How is it possible that a business can charge you for something you OWN that they had no part in? They want it to make money but why can't I recycle it myself? I can't even think of an analogy to compare this to...WHAT OTHER BUSINESS CHARGES YOU TO GET SOMETHING THAT THEY CAN MAKE MONEY ON? For anyone interested, I was on a tight timeline, but later called around and would not have been charged the extra $10 + GST from reputable auto recyclers in the Niagara Peninsula.

They went above and beyond to match my paint colour and even did all the little extras I asked for without question- and all without breaking the bank! Definitely recommend them for parts and service needs!! ????????

After calling for a set of calipers, which are very specific, and asking to confirm they were the exact ones I was seeking, they told me "yes, those are the ones listed." I asked to confirm physically, so they did. After a lengthy drive, low and behold, they were the wrong ones. Said, oh, they are the ones listed. I said that I confirmed over the phone that they were the ones for a turbo model. They checked again, and said I guess we don't have those. Manager was unapologetic, dismissive and once realised he couldn't make a sale, brushed me off. Clearly you didn't do the due diligence that is expected by looking up the vehicle I told you, and asked to confirm twice. Thanks for wasting my time, not like you care. Never do business with this clown show again. Though the young lady service advisor on the shop side was nice to talk with since it wasn't very busy. Aside from that, nope, never, I will spend my money elsewhere for correct parts and proper customer service.
