If there was an option for zero stars, would've pressed it a dozen times already. Most absolutely useless place I have ever wasted my time in. My car had an oil leak, brought it to the shop. Waiting and waiting and waiting for a call from them for updates. I get nothing. Almost 3 weeks of excuses from them and me being the only one reaching out for updates. I finally come in person to talk with Dan, only to be told it will be worked on the next day. Surprise surprise, they didn't do ****. I call the next day and they offered to take the car to another local shop to get some actually competent people working on it, I gladly accept because I cant stand this place anymore. Words don't describe the rage this whole process has created. 3 weeks and they couldn't diagnose an oil leak. I refuse to believe this small shop could ever be that busy. 3 weeks I will never get back. Zero compensation for me.

I went to 406 Auto Parts a couple months ago when my mini van needed a part. The staff were extremely helpful - they had the part (even for my old clunker) and replaced it quickly for a very reasonable price. When my van "died" some time later, I purchased a used car from them that I'm very happy with. Again, good price, thoughtful and considerate service - all in all a pleasure doing business with the 406 family!

Sold me a used windshield with a chip in it. Didn't let me return it because I paid cash and they never gave me a receipt. Normally this wouldnt have been something I'd write a review about but not only was the chip covered up with Grease Pencil markings, but when I called they seemed to know about the chip and said "We didn't think you would mind!" Then he told me he would call me back and after the long weekend I called back and they said bring the receipt which I never got... Edit to response. No you told me you would call me back which you never did. I tried calling many times and just gave up. If you didnt know the chip was there than why did you say OH WE DIDNT THINK YOU WOULD MIND? And then i told you it failed the safety inspection for installation

The hours shown on google AND their webpage are wrong. They are closed on Saturdays which caused me much frustration. Please fix your posted hours.

I'm assuming l met either the owner or the mgr. He kept me at a safe distance but NEEDED me to get what l came for (used battery). He took the time to explain to me and his staff (day 1 of 2nd wave lockdown) what to do, where l should stand, how to make this (what used to be a very simple) process happen. I felt like my business was appreciated and our collective safety was paramount. Even though l was just buying a fairly inexpensive item l felt like l was important. We need more dudes like this.
