We are building our new home and Bob at Maglios was able to match the paint colour for our trim and baseboards to the window trim from the manufacturer. We had tried everyone else in town - but Bob was the only one who came through for us!!! Thanks Bob - service with a smile! The rest of the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. The ladies in the flooring department and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make your experience a great one. Two thumbs up for Maglios! Thanks

Maglio has an amazing selection of tools and supplies for contractors, or people who like to do their own renovations and repairs. They also have customer accounts which allow regulars to get a 10 percent discount. I have been doing a lot of painting, so this has come in handy. I wish they'd sell the paint pads that were so popular years ago. Colour Your World used to carry them, but they went out of business. I'd rather buy them locally than order then from Amazon.

Went in to get some bulldog scrubbies to shine up my bike shocks and kettle. The fellow had no idea where they were but helped us find it. Pretty cheerful and competent but a bit disorganized and desultory.

They dont know what they're doing here. I bought a door here and went to pick it up. They could not find the door in their inventory and had to refund me my money. I ordered flooring and got called telling me that my flooring was in. I went to the store and they couldn't find my flooring, then got told it must not have been delivered. Then I got told it was on the truck and would be in by the end of the week. I got called again and went to the store and they couldn't find my flooring. I bought flooring from somewhere else. When I got called for the 3rd time telling me my flooring was in, I told them I didn't believe them. This place is completely disorganized and I don't trust them.

It's a toss up, one star or two (one on price, one on attitude, 4 on having what I need). They usually have what I need and I usually pay their price without challenging their "do you have an account" question. If you challenge, they'll usually give a bit of a discount. If I plan a project, I usually get my supplies elsewhere because at Maglio's they're so expensive. Case in point, I am planning a project, need more nails for my nail gun - Maglio's $97 without and account, with an account $88 and I have to make the trip, Amazon, $75 and they deliver to my door. Glad I called, I'm ordering online. Also, the guy I spoke to ridiculed me over using the building industry name for the nail size. He didn't know what it meant and thought I was out to lunch. Well, you work at a building supply store, maybe you need to be educated instead of ridiculing your customer.

I am not impressed with Maglio's, found them to be unresponsive to customers needs. Took over a week and 3 times going in to the store to get a simple answer on one of the products that they sell. My company will no longer be dealing with Maglio Building Supply in the future, I would recommend Home Building Center instead.
