*****These Guys Are AWESOME***** I called this location for a part that i had assumed needed to be replaced; because a dealership in Vancouver said it needed to be replaced for the problem i was encountering. The dealership quoted me $1200 to replace and fix the problem. I called these guys looking for the part and they quoted me $125 for the part. I then told the guy at BC Auto Wrecking what my problem was, and he told me that i didnt need that particular part; all I needed was a fan motor resisitor available at Lordco for $50. I ordered the part from lordco and fixed the problem in my vehicle in about 10 minutes. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Thank you So Much.

I was thoroughly impressed with Bryan at BC Auto Wrecking - he helped me find a part that was pretty tough to find elsewhere (parcel shelf for a Kia) and didn't overcharge me. I live on the mainland, so I was concerned about how to get the item. Bryan found a solution to have it delivered via Greyhound to me and it got here within a few days of paying for it. All-in-all, great service, fast response time, and easy-to-deal-with people.

Best salvage yard in Nanaimo. Unfortunately the business has changed so much that it is hard to find parts for a vehicle over 10 years old. Nor will the insurance company let you look around for your part.

Good experience. I would recommend them. I got a used turn signal switch for my truck from them and he advised me he could get a new one on line for the same price. I bought a fuel pump through them brand new, One was defective and I had no issues with returning and getting a replacement. The only thing is the supplier to BC auto was slow but BC auto made no issue with the replacement. I live in Victoria and I swear that they must have a policy in Victoria to charge 20 times the actual value of the parts. If you can wait for the part it's worth it to go through BC auto..They even will ship direct to your door.

Reasonable prices , but anything under $50 your out of luck on getting money back or even exchanging it. Most auto wreckers arent like this. So recently i lost $70 bucks to this place. Id rather hunt or wait for a part i need. $ 70 bucks is alot to some people. So to other people i suggest you look at other auto wreckers. Plus if something is $50 or a little over $50 , they will say i can give it to u for $40 or $45. That way there would be no exchange. Because anything under $50 there is no exchange.

Hey all, we were looking for a tranny for a ford escape, called all around, got different quotes from different places, from sooke- courtney. we found bc auto wrecking in nanaimo, had what we needed and at the best price, with the lowest km's. they even let us courier some other parts to the shop, to be picked up without having to drive an extra hour. so we took the chance in driving from victoria. when we got there, the guy behind the desk (can't remember his name). was friendly, and seemed to be in the know of our other questions we had about cars/ parts, not related to the tranny we were buying. when the two guys loaded it into the truck for us. we looked at it, it was VERY clean, and prepared for transport (stoppers). we put it in with no problem, the ford drives smooth as a baby's a**, thanx guys, well be dealing with you guys from now on.

I am in disbelief at the rude manner in which I was treated. I'm having a hard time finding parts for my car as it is an older vehicle but I call these guys and what do you know they have a couple parts I need. I live on the mainland and with them being on the island it has taken a couple weeks for me to pull the trigger to finalize the sale. Today I called and we were finalizing the sale but and I gave them my credit card info and when they asked for the CCV numbers which are the 3 numbers on the back of the card I was concerned because of the fraud epidemic and I told him I wanted to call someone to make sure that was a normal practice. Immediately he goes on the defense and rudely says "'I've wasted 2 weeks talking to you about these parts. The deal is off. I'm not selling you the parts anymore. Goodbye." Then he hung up the phone and will not answer my call. Something very shady about this guy and this place for him to not proceed with the sale. I felt uncomfortable about disclosing private personal banking information which could leave me vulnerable to fraudsters. All I wanted to do was confirm with someone else that this is common practice. Beware of the guys. I suspect they are into credit card fraud. If by chance you were the victim of credit card fraud after coincidentally dealing with these guys I would look deeper into the possible connection with these guys and you being frauded out.
