Was great experience walking into the store to install. I was listened to for what I was looking for, and had brought measurements with me so they gave me a rough quote on the spot. Actual measurements were taken a few days later, on time and was a brief visit. Scheduled install and they arrived as planned, and did our basement in a few short hours. Reasonable price for everything included. The installers had some carpet left over and we had expressed flexibility on install in one tiny closet. They had enough so went ahead and did it. Very nice guys, professional and efficient. Would recommend.

My mother and I entered the store on Sunday afternoon in search of some carpeting for our stairwell. We were pleasantly surprised to have been greeted by my former colleague from a different industry Jonathan Morrison. It wasn't long before Jonathan manifested his expertise in his newly chosen industry. He very capably explained the differences between the different kinds of carpets which allowed us to make the right choice at the right price. Installation was completed only two days later and we could not be happier with the results! The installation people were fantastic and the experience we had from the beginning to the end was top notch. I went in near closing time. I wanted a piece of vinyl flooring 11x8. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and shown a wall of flooring. I choose the one I wanted and the sales person cut it to my specifications. He gave me some instructions about care and placing the flooring. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Very happy with the service and product.

I was initially really impressed with my contact with End of the Roll. I was able to pick up samples during the Lickdown when other carpet stores were unable to provide them. Once the work was contracted and the deposit paid, contact became less frequent with lots of excuses and when issues arose following installation, the customer service has been non existent. Do better EOTRoll. A satisfied customer is your best, and least expensive, marketing tool.

I have been looking for an area rug for a few months now but could never find the help I needed until today. I randomly walked in to the east Ottawa location and boom there is Denise walking towards me with a huge smile on her face :) she asked me what I was looking for, I said an area rug this is when she proceeded to pull out one by one the carpets for me to look at, she had the coolest system of pulling a carpet and depending on my reaction either left it out all the way or pushed it back partially until I had seem all carpets on both sides. Only the short list was exposed at this point which made my choice super simple. She brought me back to her desk where she explained the return policy very clearly and had me pay all the while a nice young man came around rolled and wrapped the carpet then brought it out to my car. What an amazing experience I had today. THANK YOU DENISE!!! I will recommend this location at every chance I get.

Hired them to have my kitchen and bathroom re-tiled...finished the kitchen but not the bathroom....Ive been without a bathroom for a month because they showed up without the proper amount of materials to finish the job and then accused us as having the wrong measurements when we ordered extra tile for future use. We should of had atleast enough to finish the job..... So completely unprofessional and unreliable. Ontop of that they made us pay upfront so we cant even hold back on paying them as an insentive.....they couldnt come on the first install date and were an hour late on the second....I dunno whos running this place or whos holding their installers accountable but its absolutely ridiculous...

I went with end of the roll because other companies took too long to reply back. It started off really well and great prices but when it came to installation, the process was not good and left me at a point where I wanted to the carpet out and my money back. They came to install and left without the job finished and was told they would be back the following day and it would take 5 minutes. Not only did it take over a week for someone to come but left all the little nails sticking out and stepped on it once. They were apologetic but I needed to email everyday to find out.

This is a place I would recommend if you are looking to install yourself or have someone to do it for you. I had a very good experience at the shop, I dealt with good people and was giving a good price on good quality. What was very disappointing of of this whole experience was one of the two contractors that did the work. He was rude and when asked suggestions on how to remove some of the carpet (I did the removal) his answer was “don’t worry about it”. To me that seemed like he would do it for me or would charge me for it, either way I was content with whatever happened. Instead the contractor just laid carpet over what was left, for someone who is not in the professional in this line of work it seemed odd that they would do that. After the work was done I found a bunch of deficiencies. Example nails poking through carpet, carpet not lined up to the wall probably and the worse of all is the carpet not even secured to the ground. I had someone come in from End of the Roll to inspect over a month ago and still haven’t had anyone come fix these problems. Whatever happened to your warranty!!!! UPDATE********* It has now been one year since I have purchased my carpet. Neither Kasandra Martell from corporate community manager or the manager Vinny from the St. Laurent location has got back to me. Vinny had come by and looked at all the deficiency and told me in person that someone will be coming by to fix it, that was 10 months ago and never heard back from him. I was in contact with Kasandra afterwards but again seems like he common trend after a few emails never heard back from her again. This is just a warning for all those people that were in need of help. Unfortunately for me I wasted my money. I am still stepping on nails occasionally and having my carpet separate from the floor. Also the installation of the carpet in my closets look like a disaster! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE!!!!

I had new carpet installed by End of the Roll exactly one year ago. The first time I went to the store to inquire about their services/prices I showed up at the opening hours listed online and on the door, only to find the store locked with no one inside. Waited in my car for 15 minutes until someone showed up. This happened a second time when I went back to the store to confirm installation date and provide payment. The day of installation, the installer was late, parked his van on my lawn even though I had removed my car from the driveway and oddly enough, asked me for the password to my wi-fi. The installer was curt, unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable. After a couple of hours, a second installer showed up who was much more pleasant and friendly. I had new carpet installed in my three upstairs bedrooms, hallway and stairs. The carpet is nice but the installation was poor. Many of the seams were loose from the get go and there are many spots throughout where you can feel a significant depression in the carpet as if there is no underpad underneath. I had asked the installers to leave me any carpet that was leftover from the installation. There were no issues with this but for reasons unknown, they didn't leave me any underpad even though I paid for the same amount of carpet and underpad. There should have been some left, especially considering the large pieces of carpet that were left behind. Now I will need to purchase more underpad if ever I need to replace any part of the carpet. The prices are reasonable here but it's not worth the poor service and installation. I would recommend getting product here if you're on a tight budget but finding someone else to install it.

Bad customer service. Always have an excuse for things when it is clearly human error. Even after purchasing the product months before the installation date, things were missing on the day of. Nearly a month after the installation, the job is still not complete as they still haven’t received the missing bull nose. Not worth shopping at. Would never recommend anyone going there, their product and price can me match elsewhere.

Would not recommend luxury vinyl loose-lay flooring again. Despite being told by the salesman and the lady at the cash that the floor would settle and to use extra tape for high traffic areas, some planks lift. The amount of tape needed is ridiculous for an end result that is unsatisfactory.
