They make up the closing hours to convenience them so several times I've arrived in time before closing and they would be closed. So inconvenient for everyone especially when it is a long weekend.I use my return to feed my family. And for my gas. So they make things very hard for me and alot of other people. They should keep the hours the same as the other places and when there hours say a time don't close earlier.not fair not good very bad.????♻

I have never had a bad expierence at this place Staff is. Friendly and helpful. and other people there are as well helful if you need to know what to do when u get there. I have been to the other bottle depot and i wont go back . i get way more help at this one and your never ignored.... Langley bottledepot is the place to be ......when you recycle and. dont forget to bring your empties.The owner is always on site. And i found him to be really helpul and concerned .

Very poor social distancing protocols. Sign said no more than 5 people in the store, had 15 when I dropped in. No controls in store to promote social distancing. At least staff were wearing masks. Needs a lot of work.

This is the only place in Langley that you should ever be taking your returnable recyclables. The facility is always clean, the line up could be five deep and it won't take more than a few minutes, but the best part are the people that work there. They are friendly, fun and honest when it comes to your return. Other places in Langley will try to scam you by skimming from your total but definitely NOT this place. I will keep coming here for as long as it exists.

Staff didn’t tell a visitor—that was indoors halfway down the bottle side for a long time—to put on his mask that was under his chin even though they have a mask requirement policy as well as the public health order requiring masks. One staff member was rude because I put the styrofoam under the sign beside two other signs that had their corresponding collection bins under them. It was my first time, and the place lacks guidance on what to do. (In the summer, it was crowded, and I had no clue what to do, and the building is deep, so I didn’t even go in.) The guy driving the forklift was nice, but no one helped me at first when I was standing at the bay entrance. Express Return-It screen was dirty and all the way at the back of the bottle side even though its collection bin was on the bay side. Even though they did collect styrofoam, I am very hesitant to go back.

I've recently switched to Langley Bottle Depot to return my refundable containers and I will be using this location exclusively going forward. I only use the express kiosk and have never had any issues whatsoever. We always receive the full deposit on each container and have never been ripped off by even a single container. I encourage everyone in Langley to use this depot. Keep up the good work!

My daughter was encouraged to collect bottles at home and brings them to recycled to raise some money for her desired toys. Couple months ago we sent the bottles to another recycling center but we saw this. So I let my kid to sort the bottles herself and count how much she can get reward from this. Later when I saw the receipt prints, they just give all bottles with same price, the bigger one the same as smaller. Compared with other recycling center, this will discourage kid from trying best to sort everything out. As I just checked the local recycle policy, it seems changed like this from late 2020. We didn't see this update while there.

I’m sure their depot is great and staff is good but the owners son Ali is on bit of a high horse. He was doing bottle at a business beside mine and was throwing massive bags full of bottles and cans over the second floor balcony while our back door to our shop was open. Any one of us could’ve walked out and got hit. My coworker and I were in shock! My coworker was saying she was going to take one of the bags as a joke for his actions and then he said “sure..... but for $40.” Then she explained why she said take it and he got very defensive and said to call the cops and said he does this all the time and this is the first time we had our door open. IMO the bags should never be thrown over that far in the first place. I get it, “work smarter, not harder” but in a safe, respectful manner!! Completely startled me and absolutely no apology was said. I had asked his name and he said Ali and then told me he was the owner. I called the store and it’s his dad that owns the store, not him.

Return it express is so easy, drop your bottles they deposit into your account within a few days. I appreciate this location as they don’t stop collecting plastic or styrofoam early in the day like Willowbrook recycling and they are much more happy.

NEVER AGAIN! I Don't like to be ripped off! We took 6 blue bags of mixed bottles in. In which they said they only take 6 a day. Thank God I didn't leave anymore. Return said there was only 3 bags and was paid $16 and some change. I get theres a fee to do the bottles, but be honest. Don't lie and rip people off! I will be let everyone I know , Too Never go there. ????

So since the summer the latest scam, is when they take the cart and instead of counting in front of you take behind the counter. The first time they shorted me I thought I was imagining, but today I counted my bottles and they shorted by over a dozen. Hard to argue which bottles are yours when they've already tossed them the bin with all the others. Make sure they count them at the counter, in front of you.

I started loading my bottles at the counter when I thought it was clear. The man yelled at me at high volume. Apparently it wasn't clear. Then another lady yelled at me for using to many carts. When I complained to the manager I was told to go somewhere else. These people hate customers. They hate their jobs. This place is infuriating.

This bottle depot has had exceptional service from day 1! When I was a girl guide, many moons ago, they would come all over the lower mainland to pick up and sort out bottles when we had fundraising bottle drives. Friendly and wonderful staff!

Today was the worst service and experience I've received in all my years of going there was told to get out of line after accepting all my item only because I didn't sort 10! Missmatched containers ...one top of cutting my self open in line and being covered in blood no offers for help ... very disappointed place has changed for the worse never going there again

Never a good experience. The employees are miserable anytime they see you have express bags even when its 1 bag, clear, no straps and labeled like they ask. If you hate doing the service, perhaps dont offer it. These days I actually try to get my bag to the bin without seeing any of you to avoid the bad experience.

I recently visited this bottle depot and felt it was a bit small and crowded. It was pretty busy when i did go. I found that the work stations were small as i always have a large number of bottles to sort every week. It could be a bit cleaner too. The one cart i used something was wrong with the wheel. But at least they did not rip me off with my refund money like most other bottle depots that i have tried out. I felt i could trust them without myself actually having to count my bottles before going up to the counter and that's half the battle. The parking was wierd and the pavement was rough and uneven.

Thieves!!! I dropped off 293 cans -all worth the same- I counted. I asked the ladies for instructions. None. No mention of a charge. Online it says one bag had 53, one 65, etc… liars!!! They lied and stole $11 from me!! (two bags had 100, one had 93… I counted all). Most people spend $5 gas to drop off cans… only to be stolen from! Whoever worked Saturday, October 23rd, you are a thief!

The owner or manager --- whatever he is --- is rude and unfriendly unless he has the hots for Your daughter, wife, girl or female friend You may bring with You --- so we've noticed. --- Have seen the change in attitude from night to day. Not bringing our daughters there any time soon I am telling You that much. They close whenever they want and they do not keep to schedule. They are lazy and often in a bad mood and if they are tired they close too early leaving those with tight schedules standing there with their load of empties and nowhere to go. Presently they have placed masking tape to cover up the closing hours of operation on the digital sign which they must display on the front window. Be aware that if they miscount Your bottles, it's their word against Yours and they will tell You off if You let them know. It's unpleasant for many, not all but if You're going to deal with the public at least make it a pleasant experience for all, I mean, too many people don't recycle because one, they don't need the money, two, it's a burdensome chore to them. I collect roughly around $80/ month from discarded deposit return empties from my complex and their preferential treatment of people makes it that much more of a chore so we can only hope Encorp can have a talk with them and adjust their attitudes because their bad one doesn't help matters, closing early all the time and shortchanging You when they don't care? Heard many complaints when they come up in conversation is what we've experienced.

The guy who claimed to be the manager tried to give me only $5.00 for $15 of returns, when I told him it was normally $15 he tried to convince me it was only $5.00. I manually counted it out and it was $15.00. There are better places that you can go for this service.
