Really expensive for what it is. Very nice hotel and location but very disappointed with the room: very small bathroom, no AC, view on the parking, first floor near the employee's room. Really expensive room for the experience. But good and nice restaurant and cafe (but of course very pricy), access to Lake Louise.you pay for the ambiance ;)

Dark Impact

Stunning views, but dramatically overpriced. Skip the hotel, go for a hike instead, and have tea instead. The hotel is too huge to provide the level of service expected for the ultra-premium cost.

Booked lunch here 2 weeks prior to arriving and they called the day before to cancel our reservation. Said they have to close the restaurant for a few weeks. Hard to believe something like this wouldn’t have been planned in advance. We planned our trip carefully with this being a fairly big event. Disappointing and unprofessional.

Stunning inside and out...the coffee shop is a little pricey though.

When you are coming to Lake Louise, spend the money and stay here. The service was absolutely wonderful. The amenities are even better. Just a wonderful stay and would recommend.

We stayed here for a wedding. This hotel is beautiful I have never seen such a picturesque spot in my entire life. The staff went over and above to make sure that we were all looked after. The rooms are a bit small for the amount of money that you're spending on it but you're paying for everything else.

Beautiful hotel at a beautiful place. Sadly we had one very negative experience with a staff member in concierge because otherwise the staff was beyond exceptional. Night manager Thomas, Front desk Anna, Valet Miranda, Royal service Jay, Dog sitter Daniel just to name a few were amazing and made our stay 5 stars. Only reason why I’m giving 4 stars overall instead of 5 is that although we were thrilled they were dog friendly, none of the restaurants were. Only one table in one restaurant offered dog seating and sometimes behind a fence depending on who was seating you. The restaurant staff were fantastic but the dinner manager wasn’t dog friendly at all which made it uncomfortable. We usually eat most of our meals at the hotels we stay in so they are really missing out on not just a more positive guest experience but profit by not offering more dog friendly seating as we ate all of our meals except the first one by either room service or outside the hotel which was inconvenient for an 8 night stay. Especially when staying in a suite and paying the extra $85 per night to bring your dog. Overall though it was a lovely trip at a lovely place with lovely staff and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful scenery. Went into resort and did some shopping. Found a beautiful little shop where I found a wallet and purse. The lady working there was amazing. Qiviuk was the name of shop.

Location and views and hotel main floor is obviously amazing however the rooms are dated and incredibly small. Bathrooms are hardly large enough for 1 person to prepare. Multiple stains on the carpet and peeling wallpaper in the rooms and hallways. Worth a short stay but the high price and lack of variety of food options in lake louise I would recommend a stay in the town of banff which would be cheaper and closer to more options for food and nicer hotel rooms.

The Christmas party in the Mt. Temple ballroom was awesome. Bouncy house, cookie decorating, glitter tattoos, Holland hoops, cookie decorating were so much fun but Santa was the best.

Lovely scenery, totally picturesque. Visiting this place should be top of the bucket list for anyone visiting Alberta.

My fiancé and I were just here this week and we had a wonderful time. We were able to enjoy spa services, use the gym, and eat at each of the wonderful restaurants that the Fairmont had to offer. We took advantage of Horseback riding and hiking up to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House and summit. We had a wonderful time and got engaged out on the summit of the mountain. I highly recommend staying at the Chateau Lake Louise as the staff are friendly, happy and wonderful to interact with. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room and will absolutely be back in the future.

This is a beautiful hotel located next to the incredibly scenic Lake Louise. For about 60 CAD per person you can enjoy some world class tea, scones, desserts, and finger foods with a great view of the lake for a couple hours. It is a very decadent experience and the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
