I would strongly recommend taking scrap here. I had five buckets of (I thought) well sorted scrap metal. Darcy was amazing in taking the time to explain to me how to better sort it so that I can make the most money when bringing it in. He was patient and easy going.

Great experience. I did not know that junked vehicles could be worth so much and regret giving two away for a tax receipt that did not help me much. and selling a third for $70 bucks to somebody who left a note on a truck in my yard. Highly recommend Bucks. Fast, friendly and cash on the spot.

Drove an hour and a half to Winnipeg after spending 4 hours loading up aluminum on our only day off all month. Arrived over an hour before closing and was told we could not dump our aluminum as they don’t have certified magnet checkers available after 4pm. NO WHERE are specific services or their limited hours listed on their website. The website hours do, however state Open until 8pm. Now we’re stuck with a full load of aluminum and no space to bring back a much needed appliance that was prearranged. Was told we “should have called”. But, that is what websites are for - for posting pertinent information such as limited hours for specific services. Have had good service here in the past, but this experience was very frustrating.

The new scale attendant is no good at her job. You used to drive up on the scale and they'd have your weight after 10 sec, now people spend 5 min getting weighed. Edit: after my last visit, I may just stop coming here all together, brought in a hot water tank and some metal pipe, somehow I weighed the same coming in and going out... They blamed it on the snow.

General scrap is a great place to sell your scrap metal, friendly knowledgeable staff are always willing to assist you with whatever they can. My only complaint is you guys do not have scrap prices on your website. It would be a great addition. I like being able to estimate how much my load is worth to determine if I should bring it in, or find more scrap. But overall you guys are a great buisness, I always enjoy coming in. I am a very frequent customer at both general scrap and bucks auto! Keep up the awesome work!

Terrible place to go, very rude employees every time! One Employee went to my drivers window and used very foul/swearing language with my 3 year in the back, very unnecessary and disrespectful.
