I had some old gold jewelry that I no longer wore, so I checked around a few places. Not only will you get the best prices here, but the staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was not at all what I expected from a pawn shop - you don't feel like you're in a pawn shop. I had a chance to look around at their merchandise, and they had some good prices. If you're looking for some good deals, or looking to sell your old gold, I would definitely recommend Premier Jewellery and Loans.

i had bought an iPhone 6S, locked to bell, i had spent $80 getting it wrapped in Phantom armor, only to have Bell reject unlocking that device for me to use it, i took it back to premier pawn, and they felt bad that i had just spent $80 on getting a wrap done on it, and they went out of their way to make sure my phone was 100% working before i left that shop, and they went the extra little bit just to make sure i was satisfied, despite a bad situation, and that is the reason i will only go to this pawnshop, and why i recommend more people go, because the service was beyond Exceptional.

The entire staff out front is both professional and friendly, always wanting to help customers and provide excellent service. I recently did a trade in with Martin, the tech expert, and it was the best customer to seller interaction I've had yet since I've moved to Kelowna if not ever. I drove down to Premier Pawn and from the beginning the staff, especially Martin wanted to help me find what I needed. We discussed a deal to do a trade in and we were able to make a straight trade with absolutely no hassle or stress and in a short period of time. I know pawn shops are very tedious with straight trades but Premier Pawn seems to know what they are buying and selling, making this transaction stress free. Even after our transaction, I got a follow up from Martin via email thanking me for the trade and making sure my needs were met. This is the pawn shop to go to. Everything from layaway deals to a clean, bright shop makes Premier Pawn the place to shop for the best deals. Premier Pawn is now my pawn shop, where I will always take my business. If you think you cannot find high quality merchandise in a pawn shop, think again! The items that you can find for sale here are top notch, and they back the items that they sell . The staff here have always been helpful and they have knowledge of the products they sell. I was given a crash course in diamond grading during one trip. Their interest rate of loans can't be beat and you can put items on lay away for up to 10 months with no interest fees or additional charges. I will definitely continue to be a customer in the future. Definitely check them out if you are in the neighborhood, even if you have never stepped foot in a pawn shop... you never know what hidden gems you might find on the shelves. Cheers

I was a little nervous as first because I didn't know what to expect, but all of the staff were super friendly, and the facility was very clean and bright. I have been going to Premier for 10 +years. From the first time I walked in to the store, I was impressed the way I was treated by Martin and his staff. I was new to Kelowna and had checked out a couple other Pawn shops - I found that the staff at PP were friendly, understanding and caring. They had items in the store I was looking for and the price was always right. They are always there when I need to take something in for a few bucks. We went in to look for some video games. There were 2 other customers in the store and both had been there longer than us. We hadn't been there more than 7 minutes when an employee approached and asked us to leave as they had a customers coming to pay a loan and that the store is open for "focused shopping" only. Literally she went on a lengthy rant about it making me feel like I was doing something wrong. And we had literally skimmed the video game shelf and then went over to skim the higher end video games cabinet which is on the other side of the store. I informed her that my shopping was focused as we were only there to buy a video game but she didn't seem happy with that. I had actually spend a lot of money there in the last 6 months. Anyways, we moved on to the next pawn shop where the business was welcome! It was actually kind of shocking. I did not expect that at Premier! We walked out right away pretty upset. This is a great pawn shop otherwise. Would have been a 5 star review but this one employee is absolutely nutty! And before anybody responds saying "well they are only open for focused shopping". I know that. Thats why I went in only for a video game... What a bunch of BS.

I recently purchased an electric guitar from Premier Pawn. They always have a good selection of instruments that are in great condition and a fair price. However, when I got the guitar home it had a warped neck that I had not noticed when I was playing it at the store. Several days later I brought it back and pointed this out. Dave (who sold me the guitar) was excellent about the whole situation. It so happened that another guitar had come into the store that I really liked, so Dave did an exchange, no questions asked, and even gave me a discount for my troubles, to make it an even trade, as the new guitar was a bit more expenses. I now own a beautiful Fender HH FMT Telecaster, and I love it! I have shopped there for various items, including their great selection of watches. Honestly the most amazing and helpful people! I went in last Friday with a ring and a bracelet I wanted to sell. I had just gotten into town and a friend had loaned me her bike which unfortunately got stolen at the mall. I went to Premier and Canadian Exchange and both places quoted 500$ total for both pieces. The third place I went to quoted me 600$ and the gentleman at Premier told me he wasn't able to match it, which is fine, but he told me if I can get more than that's obviously what I should do. I think that's very genuine of a person to do. I had gone to the third place and agreed to sell my jewellery. She had told me the accountant wasnt going to be in until Monday.. Okay, no problem. Monday came, still no accountant.. I called on Tuesday and said her accountant had to do end of month paperwork at another job. I was getting nervous because I had funds coming out Friday and what if my bank holds the cheque? I decided to go in Weds.. The receptionist told me the accountant had a family emergency and a family member had passed away.. I felt bad but they had been stringing me along all weekend. I came back 30 mins later like the receptionist asked.. And the owner said the accountant will be in by 4pm. I came back at 4.. Still nothing. At this point it wasn't even worth the extra 100$ because I was so stressed out. I asked for my two pieces back and went to Premier. Mary Ann was so charming and friendly. She made me feel so much better! She did the appraisal over again and was very profession, she was even explaining what each tool was used for. I got the 500$ finally and even have the option of buying back the bracelet that I might not be ready to let go of. It was hassle free and honest. Very much by the book so I know it's fair, both Mary Ann and the gentleman came up with the same appraisal.. Thank you guys so much for your help!

This is my first review for Premier Jewellery and loans but I have dealt with them on a number of occasions buying and selling everything from musical instruments and accessories to knives and even watches. Erin and the rest of the staff have always been very professional, courteous, honest and fair. On this particular occasion Martin the manager worked with me on a deal involving high end watches. His knowledge and expertise were right on point and we were able to work out a deal without all the unnecessary pressure and aggressive sales tactics I have come upon at other shops. I was at Premier today it was my first time there and as soon asi walked in Bella greeted me and asked how she could help , I told her I was there to sell some gold we had sitting around the house some broken etc she said this was a perfect time to sell as prices were high.she explained everything she was doing from the xrays and figuring out the carrot amount to the scale she was very professional and I felt comfortable the whole time . We had such a great experience this week at a pawn shop here in Kelowna, the name: Premier Jewellery and Loans. We were there to get an evaluation for miscellaneous pieces of jewellery, chains, rings etc collected over the years and thought they might be worth a few dollars at the most. Imagine our surprise on hearing the value of what we felt just trinkets, were actually worth hundreds of dollars. They also have great deals for beautiful diamond rings and watches were priced much less than at a regular retail outlet. I had a quote on some silver and only wanted to double check the price so I went to Premier jewelry. I had seen their name on a website that recommended them as an honest place to deal in Gold and Silver in Kelowna. Turned out the first expert that had quoted on my goods had told me he was giving me five cents more per gram yet somehow came out 35% lower in final pricing. I have never been in a pawnshop before And was impressed with how clean, organized and professional the staff was. This experience has shown me that there are corrupt dealers in the gold and silver market and if you are in doubt I would check with Premier jewellery as they seem to give honest estimates.
