Due to the lineup to get in is why I give it a one. Gone in to the office several times to voice my concerns but nothing changes.Some poor cyclist is going to get it one day as the cycle lane is full of traffic and there are some large trucks moving through there.

PRO'S - Helpful staff, easy access, Informative WEBSITE where all the normal questions can be answered, however, I understand the complainers ... Every Dump attracts trash. CON'S - There isn't a Coffee Shop with donuts and Ice Caps, it isn't nice like City Park and there's no playground for the kids! BTW who would have thought that a place that accumulates the whole city's garbage might smell...

Always fun at Glenmore landfill. It's like YMCA but with garbage. People are nice, staff is helpful, and they even give dog treats. To dogs, not to everybody. If you like birds that's your place too. Tons of them.

I went to the Glenmore Landfill to drop off an old car door. Maybe a 15 minute wait?? Not bad for shortly after lunch. The young lady behind the plexiglass at the cashier place had a beautiful smile and very helpful. Got to the scrap metal bin, and a young guy named Darren took the door out of my van for me. The guy has a blown knee and was still VERY willing to help me, a senior. Thank you all for being kind and gracious to folks like me. I for one REALLY appreciate your help. After driving all the way to west kelowna to find the dump I'd normally go to was closed on certain days and hours (not helpful at all if you can't get there by 4pm or a day that it's open), I found out about the one in town on glenmore. The line up wasn't bad, waited 10 mins to get in, people in the office were friendly and the staff in the lot even helped me unload. My experience was over all very satisfying.

The new entrance is great. Even though the line was a 10 minutes of waiting last time I was there the lanes in side had lots of open room.

New landfill and nothing but waiting idling in a long line. Rediculous city this size with one lane. Commercial line empty but waiting all the way on john hindle. Dont get it.not to mention paying for greens to be recycled and re sold. Whos running this show?

I heard great things about this place, but once I arrived I realized it was a complete dump. The best complete dump I’ve ever been to.

People are all really nice. The location is organized logically. The waits can be annoying, turn what should be a 1hr dump run into a 3hr run. Prices certainly add up, I wish doing things the right way didn't have to be so expensive.

Sure wish the city would do some planning. This place is a joke just like the bennet bridge. They re did the scale house a couple years ago. You think they would have made more than one lane in and one lane out. This place is so painfully slow its embarrassing. Who has time to sit in line for an hour to get ride of some yard waste. Keep up the great city planning guys. your doing an awesome job.....NOT

I've never had a problem with this land fill but if you ever have a question you need to actually drive to the landfill and ask. I've been calling for 2 days now and left numerous messages and I haven't been able to get through.
