Oh my god they are stealing my bottles, i counted at home and when i count in store they did not believe me and the added into their big bin and ask to recount but how!? they count by themselves to prove i am wrong but CHEATTERS you are stealing money from a retired person and not giving the full money ... Scammers I invite Global Market and catch you guys red HAND ... dirty owner and train their staff dirty counts ... DONT go there .. i only went because it is close to my place... MINUS 1 star for sure

The Nerve to ask for 5 stars. I gave you 3 now you get 1! It's so cold the staff have to wear there outside winter gear inside it's so cold. The racks are sticky. You only have cold water running out of the tap.

Only reason I come here is because it is close to home. As soon as I walked up to the till, the cashier was rude. I felt like I was a burden to him to be honest. After the transaction, I went to recycle cardboard .The cahsier decided to seek me outside and talk to me about a mistake I had made with the cans. I quickly apologized for it and said it wouldn't happen again. At that point the conversation should have ended, which was not the case. He continued "educating" me. The simple mistake.... I brought in 3 bags, already organized. One with plastic bottles. 2 were cans, seperated by pop cans and beer cans. I accidentally got the numbers mixed up between the pop and beer cans. In the end, the total number of cans was the same. A very simple msitake. If I ever talked to someone the way I got talked to, I would lose my job. They try to be educational but it comes across very condescending and rude. Not to mention how many times they have short changed me. Today I was shorted $2.00. This is what I find hilarious. They actually talk to me about the msitake I made, but can't give me the correct amount of money. I wish I would have noticed before I had left. You really try to be proactive with Covid and be prepared, but it still isn't good enough for them.

this is a fairly decent bottle and Recycling Depot to go to it has recently been modernized in the last couple years and has all new paint and new bottle trays to put your empties into as well as the number of large sinks has also increased. There are considerablely more clean tables to sort your bottles on and the changes are greatly appreciated and make the facility so much better. There are also places to get rid of your used paint spray can paint containers your old VCR and record players items like that there's also places to dispose of Styrofoam you know like a regular recycling facility all those things are here I do not know much about thes storage units that are for rent here,as I've never rented one, so I don't know what they're like at all. As far as parking goes, there is limited parking if it's busy, but on a slow day there's ample parking. If it's busy you might be hard-pressed to find somewhere to park. The other thing I'd like to mention, is on the subject of the alcoholic beverage containers, the bottles or cans. You are only given $0. 08 per item instead of the 10 cents you're given everywhere else so if you would like to get that extra $0. 02 you need to go to another Recycling Depot or the liquor store to cash in your alcoholic empties thank you

I am used to Alberta bottle depots that pay more per bottle and then do all the organizing and counting. We even have to take the caps off all the bottles.

When I first pulled in was expecting to be a while. But everything went really fast and I was in and out pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got my bottles sorted and was paid and out. They have a pretty good system in place. Great place to do returns.

Counted out my bottles into a bag, was told 288 was aloud in the bag. Counted out two by two until reaching 288. Then the Chinese gentleman told me no recounted and say there was 231 in there. Constantly when I bring bottles in there they miss count and rip me off. Perhaps this place can finally be audited and watched to see how often they do rip people off. Cause I hear about it everytime friends bring in large quantities of bottles

They don,t pay the full amount so I don,t think that's very good. They pay full for water bottles 5 cents but on anything that's 10 cents they only pay 8 cents , that's not right so I go to kelowna for the rest of my returns I learned this from other customers they also go to kelowna for all of there returns

Caught them AGAIN shorting me on my bottles. Bad enough they don't give you full $ for your stuff but trying to rip you off is another. Make the trip to kelowna and get all your money.

It's hard to get 5 starts at bottle recycling, but this is a good one. Efficient and kind staff. Helpful and maintains the place quite clean. The aroma is always strong of bottle smell but that's normal. Smaller Depot so pick less busy days to make it easier for yourself.

Wow, who knew you could receive such outstanding service from a recycling depot?! Every single one of those guys is ALWAYS hustling around, no matter the time of day, and if I'm unloading a large load from my vehicle and one of them is walking by, they always jump in to help me, without even asking if I need help. I love it! I am so impressed by this place, I am happy to tell everyone about it. Thanks guys, keep up the amazing work you're doing running such an efficient depot!

What kind of bottle depot is closed on Sunday. THey also steal 2 cents off of every alchohol return.

To put this whole 8c instead of 10c thing in perspective......say you are a hard working young sports team/school band/physics club doing a bottle drive to raise money for an out of town event. If you brought 2000$ worth of alcohol containers to this depot, the guy would be skimming off 400$ of that 2000$. So....alcohol returns @ 10c = 2000$ and alcohol returns @ 8c = 1600$. Now imagine how many alcohol returns in total they get a day from all customers....10,000$? Now figure out how much 20% of that is that he is pocketing.

0 stars, wait 10 min for a parking stall and then carried heavy bottles in to find out you have to sort them yourself and wait in line to get a spot to do so. Friken joke, Id loose money spending my time to sort them for what little money you get when I could work the extra half hour instead making more money.

It is a clean facility and the staff at the recycling are pretty good apart from the guy (skinny with glasses) that works mainly outside and does cardboard, paper and plastic recycling. He was extremely rude and aggressive and yelled at me because I put something in the wrong place. When I talked to the manager because of his disgusting behaviour he continued to be abusive which was shocking. I have also seen him being rude to other people and nothing seems to be done about it. It is appalling that someone like this is allowed to work there and be verbally abusive to people and get away with it. I suffer from anxiety and because of this traumatic experience will no longer do my recycling at this depot.

They are an okay place but I feel that they cheat because some refunds they only pay 8 cents instead of the 10 cents I pay and what the bottles say the refund is.. no other depot does this so I think they are cheating people. Staff also got very upset both times I brought this up...

I took my mom here to sort some recycling on Thursday September 26 around 10:30am and was absolutely appaled over the blonde woman outside sorting. My mom (who deals with slow processing due to cancer) accidentally placed a electronic in the wrong bin and rather than informing us that the item was placed incorrectly the worker snatched up the item and chucked it across the lot making a huge scene. We apologized for the mistake and said we would take it to the right place and her response was "whatever....I deal with this all f-ing day." This woman should not be working here if she hates people and her job this bad. My mother was mortified and upset and so was I for this worker treating my ill mother this poorly. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Very rude.. I collect and save up my bottles for my 2 years old piggy bank.. I had 5 large bags full of empties from the last 6 months.. The Asian guy who runs the place got upset I was using to many of his plastic trays and was taking to long.. Then shorted me on the cash!
