Try'd to fix my truck said my truck was to old for the computer it's a 93 and charged me $200 for nothing would not recommend them to fix any truck or car. Don't know what the are doing in there.

How does this place have so many 5 star reviews? I called for a part, show up its not ready and they want me to go walk around the yard looking for a car...... I can get a new one for the same price of eBay... Customer service sucks

I originally came to Tripps for a used part then brought my vehicle in with a variety of wiring issues, and now my ABS, Traction Control, rear wiper spray, door lock switches and rear power windows all work again, great service, reasonable prices and done in a timely manner. Very helpful and professional, on the times I have dealt with them they have gone out of their way to get the right part. Sold me alternator for my Mercedes and it quit working within an hour so they got me another one before I even returned the 1st one, no wreckers around here would do that! Also gave us top dollar for a delivery car that saw the end of its days, called every wrecker and they gave us the most.

Once again, I had one of my vehicles serviced at Tripp's... been dealing with them for years now, with many different vehicles. I'm not rolling in the cash, so I usually buy older vehicle that are in good shape. But the downside is getting them repaired, when I take them into places that want to charge me more than the vehicle is worth to fix one part of them. That's where Tripp's come in. They have a huge Recycling yard out back, that usually has the parts that I need at a fraction of the cost. Doesn't make much sense to put Premium parts on my used car, so BIG savings that way. If it's not something that can be replaced by used parts (brake pads, etc) they get them sent in from local suppliers, and are still much cheaper than the dealerships to get them myself. When I get the service work done by them, they only do what is asked, and I am not shocked by a 'We had to fix this and that as well...' surprise charges. They always tell me what they find, and ask what I would like to do about it. Mine are older vehicles... so they are going to have some wear and tear. Always honest about the work they suggest, and the 'value' of it. Buying an older, used car and getting a great deal on it is useless if it costs you a fortune to maintain it. Tripp's makes that part easy... Professional and friendly service, with good workmanship. That's rare these days. You won't be disappointed. (and you can waste most of the day throwing a stick for the dogs!)

Don't deal with these people ,they'll cost you more money in the end.They sell defective and wrong size parts,That end up costing more on labour and have to buy a new part anyhow,I'll never go there again for anything.And they would not even help with the labour cost even thou they were in the wrong.

Have had the opportunity to deal with tripps on 3 different occasions now, ( rear door, new battery, and front strut) on each occasion they have been extremely helpful. The have great customer service and a couple wonderful dogs that like to play to pass the time :) Definitely recommend.

Well I must say this is the best in Peterborough thus far ! I called about my 2004 intrepid only place to have all the parts I need, very pleasant to work with! Gave me a great deal for buying in bulk as my car needs a lot and even gave me discount I couldn't be more happy there working with me and that is quaility care to say the leased. Friendly staff too can't wait to work with them in further if my car needs more parts ????

Arranged with Tripp's to source a used rack and pinion assembly to replace the unit with a leaking seal in my 2005 Toyota 4 Runner last Fall. I had them do the installation as well because I did not relish the idea of lying on the cold concrete floor of my garage to do the job myself. They had to extend the work also to replace the high pressure line to the rack. In summary they did a great job on the switch. The steering wheel was straight and the 4 Runner tracked great on the highway. Hence, no alignment work was necessary ( which I had resigned to as a requisite after a rack change-out ). Based on the many positive reviews I decided to go with Tripp's ( 1st time with them )and was not disappointed. Their attention to details and keeping me informed at each stage of the repair work were professional and greatly appreciated. Happy to recommend them and certainly will consider them for any future work on my vehicles.
