i got lost in your building somehow, it was way to big and i didnt know where i was going the whole time. Your piece of lumber didn't fit in my cube van. It was too long and didn't even fit in my cube van. so therefore my cube van is no lnoger a cube van. R.I.P Cube Van 1989-2018 You will be greatly missed. I went through many adventures with you, through the forest, through muddy fields, we went everywhere together. Home Depot just had to urine it. I don't know where to start, I've been crying for days and days and days I just can't believe you're gone. It's been so long without you. You will be forever missed cube van. Therefore Home Depot because I couldn't fit your lumber in my cube van and now my cube van is no longer a cube van I rate you 1 star out of 5. Also, your burgers taste like poo, and your drive thru is slow. I will be coming in and talking to a manager eventually after I regroup and stop crying from this tragedy that has occurred in my family. R.I.P Cube Van 2018-1989

Called and requested about a side driver mirror for a Pontiac G5 as ours got taken out by someone. Very prompt response and had the part ready when I got there . Fair and reasonable . If we need anything else for the car again we will defiantly go back here . Thank you !

They used to be a great place to do business with, I have been buying parts from them for years, But I am not sure if they have changed ownership. They are ignorant now and will not stand behind what they sell now either. I got a faulty computer from them, They just said no warranty and that something is wrong with the vehicle not their part. So no refund or exchange. Well You can keep the 50 bucks, I bought one from another yard and now my customer is happily on his way. You just lost my business of at least 20 years over a 50 dollar part..... Thats bad business sense. I am Neal Ward from Wards Auto Service. I would never dream of treating my customers this way.

Good place to call if you're looking for cheap car parts. But i will mention that you might have to remove the part from the junk car yourself but not all the time. I come here whenever I'm fixing up my car, usually have the best price.

Good place for reasonable used car parts. Prices are cheaper than their competitors, especially if you go to their U pull yard. New vehicles comes in regularly.

The Parts Manager Ken is awesome. Ken listens to the customer and makes things as simple and easy as 1,2,3. He has always gone out of his way to keep us happy with every purchase we have made at Abes. I would defiantly recommend these guys to family and friends.

UPDATE: Junior responded to my original complaint by offering to get me a new wheel for my car and when that proved impossible, he made things right. Solid service. So I called Abe's to find a particular rim for my VW that showed in his online inventory. He claimed to know nothing about it so when I gave him the part number he said it was my fault for not being clear about what I wanted. When I asked him to check the yard to be certain the part was correct, before I drove out to Bowmanville he declined. When I got there the a salesman was very rude but Junior and the other staff were very helpful. Eventually I found the part they had listed online but it was not the part that had been pictured. The salesman did not seem concerned.

Called for 2 fenders and a hood. Was told only hood had some minor stone chips. I was good with this. They pulled parts on Friday and I drove 120km to pick up on a Saturday. All parts had bad scratches requiring repaint. One fender was dented with rust. We came to an agreement on a good discount but had they been upfront in this on Friday it wouldn't have been a surprise upon pickup. Friendly staff however and I'll still return. I'll just have parts inspected better before I go out.

Good luck getting your vehicle picked up. They give you a time, then dont show up. No call, just no show. You have to hound them, literally. You will have to reschedule multiple times before they show up, if you dont give up and just go somewhere else. They Do Not care about your timeframe or your day. They exect you to sit and wait.

The service I received today from the team, at Abe's Auto Wreckers was simply SUPERB! I got a very fair quote for my car but what really made the difference was their dedication to their clients. I had to call them a number of times, having to coordinate with CAA, the towing of my car and reschedule multiple times, and never once did they display impatience. They made my day!! I really can't thank them enough. :)

Called to confirm that they had stock of an LED taillight, which they showed having 2 of in inventory, both supposedly being in A1 condition. I stated that I'd be in to pick up the part that was 1 model year newer than the other, and after driving for close to an hour, arrived to find a part that was badly scratched & burnt out. After then being told that they were now closed and that I could return the following week to pick up the other of the 2 taillights, we finally agreed that the second taillight would be delivered to me because of the inconvenience. 3 days later when the 2nd part arrived, it was for a completely different vehicle, at which point I was told that that was all they had, along with a "sorry". Now, one day later, they've reposted one of the taillights as being for sale (the newer one), which means that they're either trying to resell the one that's burnt out, or else had the second one while inadvertently sending me the wrong one, but didn't want to make another delivery to me because of the distance. Bad, bad business.

Super shady business. They have an engine listed for a 2009 VW Touareg. Car-Part shows they've inputted the odometer reading as 207,704km. No image of the odometer for proof. I took the VIN number and pasted it in to google and there was a Copart auction salvage listing for this vehicle. So far so good. They used the exact same pictures as Copart, but interestingly the odometer picture wasn't "forgotten" in this set. Odometer image shows 297,703km. Far cry from what they claimed on Car-Part and they must have conveniently left out that photo. Any auto wrecker that would willingly misrepresent an odometer reading to this extent is not worth the hassle of dealing with.
